Today it struck me that my DR S/O actually has to deal with my bullshit as my DR self is practically me. I kept my backstory and everything super close to my CR and everything except some bits about superpowers and all that, but like... it's still the same chaotic autistic + adhd me.

Like I was vocal stimming in the kitchen this morning and went in the most gollum voice "Let's go motherfucker" for absolutely no reason while packing away my breakfast stuff and it struck me like "Cipher will have to deal with this."

The thought of Cipher sitting upstairs in her office, being proffesionall and all and me being full on gremlin in the kitchen downstairs is sending me.

Like yes I scripted she finds it adorable, but the whole idea is still funny as fuck.

I couldn’t survive an enemies to lovers (Or more accurately, my S/Os wouldn’t survive, because when I hate someone, I hate them). Instead, I like-

In almost every one of my DRs, my S/Os have dreamt about me for years. They didn’t start out as romantic. At first, the dreams were just deeply comforting, something that they eventually grew to look forward to, especially if they were going through something difficult in life. The dreams happened at least once a week, more when they’re stressed or upset. And even when they’re not dreaming of me, I always show up as a background character or something in their other dreams. When the dreams turn romantic varies. However, 14 days before we’re destined to meet, they start getting the dreams every night. The dreams are long and vivid, yet there’s always this feeling that something is missing. That what they’re experiencing is a shadow of me. 3 days before we meet, they suddenly stop getting the dreams and I stop showing up altogether. After that is usually when we’re destined to run into each other in reality.

Meeting me in reality is what fixes that problem, the feeling that something is missing. I’m literally the person of their dreams. The dreams never exaggerated any of my virtues or flaws, so there’s no pedestal for me to fall off of, meeting me just fills in the blanks of who I am. My quirks, the things I do when I think nobody is watching, how I handle disappointment, etc.

If I had to pine, so do they~✨
