Also, just curious, is there a story behind your name "animit-y "?

It’s actually just supposed to be read as “Animity”, but I couldn’t get it has my user.. Anyways! The story is when I was younger, on SketchClub, and Art app with a community feature, I needed a user. So I just kinda combined the words Animosity and Anemone. I was pretty young at the time, but it stuck! :)

For the fics, I have about 600 fics bookmarked on Ao3 rn, and I’m a huge multi-fandom kind of person so I’d say it’s genuinely really difficult to pick even a few of my favs. That being said, I’ll show some of my Favorite Recently read fics!

1. Cannibalization of the Apex by CharmPoint — SatoSugu / Complete / 55k words / Canon Divergence AU where Gojo dies and comes back as a cursed spirit. 10/10 especially if you want to CRY.

2. Anchor by valleykey — SatoSugu / Complete / 14k words / Alternate Universe where Geto is the strongest Cursed Spirit naturally and Gojo is the strongest sorcer ofc. 8/10 I also cried to this one, it’s genuinely so good.

3. A Peacemaker’s Sorrow by TiredDemi — BingYuan / Complete / 322k words / AU where Shen Yuan is reincarnated as Shen Jiu’s younger brother and grows up along side him, changing things as he goes. I’m still currently reading this, but it’s been my Fav svsss fic I’ve read so far. 9/10 even tho it’s 322k words, it’s so worth the long read.

4. Tongfang by The Feels Whale (miscellea) — BingYuan / Complete / 24k words / SY is reincarnated as some Random cannon fodder family that Binghe grows up serving part time. “Or: that one where young Luo Binghe’s career goal is ‘Bride’.” 8/10, this author is genuinely so funny, if you want smth lighthearted this is the one!

5. Reki’s Totally Real Canadian Boyfriend by JustGettingBy — Reki/Langa / Complete / 4k words / College AU 5 + 1 things where Reki’s classmates are convince Reki’s lying to them about having a boyf. 8/10 it’s so cute and fluffy, if you want a lil laugh this is so good!

6. it’s a bird, it’s a cat, it’s… by SweetLittleSunflower — Eventual HotWings / An ongoing Series of works about Sphinx Mutation Izuku being taken care of by Dabi and Hawks. 8/10, really freaking cute!

7. Burn your Wings by oWhiteKiwibird — TodoDeku / Complete / 179k words / Izuku has a fire quirk, and also as many daddy issues as Todo! 9/10 super well written, the parallels between TodoDeku are really nice!

8. Itsy Bitsy Spider by Angeeelatin — No Romantic pairings, Tony & Peter / Complete / 4k words / Peter makes himself an army of Spider AIs and forgets to tell anyone. Shenanigans ensue. 9/10, it’s so funny, the avengers just.. think he can talk to spiders

9. Good Publicity by Bergen — Established Tony/Pepper, focus on Tony & Peter / Complete / 16k words / Tony takes care of Mute Peter for good PR and ends up just basically adopting him. 10/10 my main pairing on ao3 is Tony & Peter cause I LIVE for their father & son dynamic!

10. Dark Matter by mysterycyclone — No Romantic pairing / WIP / 221k words / Peter gets transported into Gotham City, Almost Dies, meets the BatFam, and a bunch of other this. 15/10 it’s not even complete but this is for sure one of my top 10 fics of all time!

langa grew up in a pristine house, all white and decorated with pretty hydragea flowers. it's pure, peaceful to the eyes. nanako is the main designer and she knows she does a good job.

oliver says he feels like he's in a dentist clinic.

ugh. what does he know about tranquility?

because oliver is welcoming this… boy… reki– hair a stark red, yellow stripes headband, and bomber jacket a bright green– he clashes violently with everything nanako holds dear.

"ma, pa, this is reki, and he's my boyfriend," langa introduces.

oh, dear, oh dear.

they met during second year of college. apparently langa likes to hang around the park behind his dorm building and that's where he met reki.

"it was a sunrise, i was on my way to my class and i saw him doing an ollie with the sun behind him. it was magical," langa is gushing.

nanako doesn't even know what an ollie is. she squints at reki.

"mhm, what was reki doing in the morning playing around…. he wasn't ditching classes, was he? did you?"

reki laughs. it's a nice sound. langa looks all endeared again.

"no ma'am!" reki starts, "i scheduled my classes to be in the evenin. it was coincidental langa caught me at tha time, cuz usually i'm in my dorm sleepin."

langa begins to say something and reki quickly covers his mouth.

"what? what is it?" nanako urges.

langa says, "i was just gonna say… it's not a coincidence. it's fate. destiny. i love you, reki," and plops a big kiss on reki's head.

oliver snorts loudly then laughs.

reki deflates into his seat, face beet red.

nanako genuinely has no words.

"babe?" oliver prompts.

nanako stares at him and says, "he's ruining him."

the dinner date ended two hours ago. now they're turning in for the night, and nanako has done some calculations and came to a conclusion.

oliver pulls their blanket closer and sighs, "if this is abou—"

"we must save reki."

oliver closes his mouth.

"langa is. langa is doing everything i thought reki would do," nanako shivers, "he's… he made reki get a tattoo, poor child scared of needles."

"reki got him back, though? langa got a piercing for him and," oliver chuckles, "he fainted. he isn't even scared of needles and he fainted."

nanako shakes her head, amused. "langa got jealous when reki didn't pay him enough attention during finals and blocked the door when reki wanted to leave for his classes."

"straight up laid down in front of the door!" oliver barks a laugh, "i'm embarrassed for our son. he has no shame."

the both of them huddle together. oliver takes nanako's hand and kisses it.

"young love is so stupid. langa took reki to a motel room for their first date. who does that?"

nanako giggles at the way oliver's body shakes with laughter.

"in his defense, he thought all the times he watched reki in the park counted as dates. he just wanted to take the relationship a step further."

nanako adds, "poor reki was so confused."

they both tear up and cackle at the imagery.

oliver hums.

"he's such a sweetheart, reki. i know you don't like him but i think he's good for our son."

"no, i like him."

"huh? back then you said–"

nanako huffs, "i know what i said! now i take it back."

oliver smiles, "well, i'm glad. reki makes langa happy."

"ugh, i feel like such an asshoIe. this is all mrs. ayato's fault."

"who's mrs. ayato?"

"ugh!" nanako yells and smacks her husband's forehead.

You know, if Adam vented by dance skating in the rain more often, we might not have the problems we have now.

God the animation of Adam’s shadow as he dances is so fucking good.

Imagine being this poor fucking tailor man. It’s early in the morning, it’s a fucking monsoon raging outside, and then a lunatic in a matador costume bursts talking about making him a suit.

Langa, it is not your job to fix that grown ass man.

Kiriko’s search warrant and subsequent raid on the Shindo household was completely erased from the narrative. Like, she had the warrant and never used it?

Miya asking Shadow about his injuries when Cherry probably cracked his skull in at least two separate places, had an arm and leg in a cast, probably some- at least- cracked ribs, among other things. Listen, if the founders are actually gods you can go ahead and reveal that, but at least acknowledge that Cherry’s injuries were far worse than Shadows.

If season two never finishes up Cherry’s hangups with Adam I will riot.

Imagine going to S, seeing a whole ass tombstone at the finish line and not turning the fuck around to go home.

Honestly, I love Adam’s second costume more than his first, but actually imagine being Langa, walking all the way up there and seeing your opponent dressed like the grim reaper talking about it’s your day of departure.

The Zone is just Adam’s way to not feel any pain- something he’s experienced a lot of in life- as he completes his child murder suicide.

Oliver I feel like you could have visited your son long before now.

Adam: There’s not...anyone at my side Okay, now who’s fault is that?

While I agree that adults can learn something from children. This 100% should not have been on Langa’s shoulder (thought narratively I understand why it was).

Adam says friends will ultimately betray you, flashing back to the “I have no opinions” scene (which lol ok), but we never get a scene from where Cherry and Joe supposedly betrayed him, showing that that they never did and that Adam left them first.

Adam: Nobody understands me! They never could! No one in this world can read minds. You actually have to tell your loved ones what’s going on with you. And also, Cherry’s repeated asked you what was wrong and you tried to kill him.

You know, in previous episodes, when someone got knocked down, it was an immediate win for their opponent. But when Langa gets up from him and Adam knocking each other down, and Adam was still struggling on the ground, the match is still on. Bullshit.

This show is trying to make me feel for this man, but it’s just not possible. Like, yay, you remembered the fun you used to have with the guy you treat like shit. Good for you.

Adam almost killed Kaoru, Hiromi, Miya, Carla, and Sketchy with that parachute.

Tadashi as his boss goes to sexually harass a minor again: UWU

I want Koyomi to attend S in season 2.

Don’t worry shadow, they weren’t shown kissing, that could just be her brother or cousin for all you know!

The end scene tries to play Adam letting Tadashi believe he was going to go to jail for weeks as a positive “aw, he cares” scene, but Tadashi really believed that his life was over and Ainosuke is just like “Yeah, no, you’re stuck with me, dog.” Like, that’s a fucking threat coming from this man.

“You’ll be my dog for the rest of our lives.” Listen, have a pet kink if you want fandom. This is still an abusive relationship between a boss and his subordinate. Adam signs his paycheck, owns the house he lives, and could literally do anything he wanted to him. This is not sexy.

Made a SK8 OC

His name is Syeed Jaxon, best known by his stage name SyRen but prefers to go by Sy. He was a skater turned singer turned bar owner turned skater and bar owner. He's 26 years old and is American born but was raised in Japan because his dad was stationed there. He moved to America when he started singing but moved back at the end of his retirement tour.

He retired from singing to go back to living a normal life where he could actually have hobbies again. He's not really into the harsh and ultra extreme competitive aspect of skating portrayed at S and finds it annoying when he gets challenged but still goes to S for the hell of it.

His bar is called Remedy and it's filled with skating and music memorabilia, which is how he met Langa and Reki. The two idiots came into the bar after hearing how impressive his skating memorabilia was and almost kicked them, thinking that they were underaged punks who were trying to score booze but saw that they only wanted to see his memorabilia.

He gave them soda and told them stories about where he got all of us his stuff and how he almost became a pro skater, but his friend was starting up a band and wanted him to play guitar and do lead volcals but instead of it just being another side hobby, skating became the side hobby and singing took over his life, even after the band broke up, he was scouted and weasled into signing a contract with a record label who stalked him until he said yes, jumpstarting his solo career and making him a star, but not in the way he wanted. He later retired after years of unhappiness.

He welcomes Langa and Reki into his bar whenever they please, telling them impressive stories of his past and giving them skating wisdom, becoming sort of an older brother figure to them.

He meets Miya, Hiromi, Kaoru and Kojiro when Miya snitches to Kaoru and Kojiro that there are rumors going around that Langa and Reki are hanging out at a bar recently. Outraged at the thought of Langa and Reki partaking in underaged drinking, and Hiromi being amused by it, they all storm off to Remedy to confront the two, seeing them being served by Sy.

Kaoru immediately starts scolding Langa and Reki, not letting them get a word in and yells at Sy, saying that he should be ashamed of himself for giving alcohol to minors, making Sy shove a glass up to Kaoru's lips to make him drink the liquid, revealing it to be peach juice, not alcohol.

Kaoru then scolds Langa and Reki for going into a bar in the first place but they explained that they were going there to check out Sy's skating memorabilia and to hear his stories, which intrigued them all, and Sy sat them all down to hear his stories.

Eventually, he started hanging out with all of them and going to S

You should be playing #10 - Sword of the Chosen

Stronghold might be the low-key best Magic set for Commander.

It's just full of bonkers and interesting cards that you don't see anymore.

You already know my undying (sic) love for Tortured Existence, but Stronghold also brings us bangers like Ensaring Bridge, Heartstone, Constant Mists, Intruder Alarm, Grave Pact, Horn of Greed, Volrath's Stronghold, Reins of Power, and so much more.

What an insane list.

But one of my favorite cards from this set is one that I forgot about until building Tymna + Anara - Sword of the Chosen.

I get why this card was forgotten back in the day. Tempest block had a few legends, but nothing to write home about - and definitely nothing that needed a temporary p/t boost.

But you know what format is guaranteed to have a bunch of legends...

Yep. That one.

How many Commanders would like a +2/+2 bonus? That's nothing to sneeze at. It completely changes the math on Commander damage by taking 5 and 6 power commanders to 7. It also gives you an outlet for early game damage and damage triggers.

And the best part - it's not an Aura. You don't lose this when your legend dies.

More importantly, the ability is completely optional. You can threaten to pump your commander, or save it for one of your other legendaries (which Commander decks tend to incidentally have a bunch of anyway). Do you keep it back in case of damage based removal? The options are basically endless.

Coming down on turn two, Sword of the Chosen puts you opponents in a bind. Do they block and risk losing a dude? Do they let you get in for the damage trigger?

Also, not completely irrelevant, but Sword of the Chosen is also a legendary card for you Sisay and Reki players.

This random artifact from the before times comes down for basically nothing and maintains impact throughout the game. It's only in 749 EDHREC decks. You should definitely be playing more of it.

-Literally the most enthusiastic person you’ve ever seen. He’d be happy to just sit in silence with you because come on, it’s YOU. There’s no one he’d rather be wasting the hours away with.

-Your biggest hype man, EVER. You post something on Instagram? Get ready for a flood of comments, all from him. You could put your phone down for two minutes after posting, and you’ll come back to 99+ notifications of just reki commenting along the lines of “woah suddenly I’m on one knee” “DAMNNNN” and many, many more.

-Never leave your phone unattended around him. He won’t snoop, but be prepared to come back to your camera roll flooded with just zoomed in pictures of his face, his mouth, his eye, ANYWHERE. Mf is spamming your whole phone with pictures of him for you to come back to.

-He has to always be touching you in some way. Whether it’s holding your hand, your waist, a casual arm around your shoulder, there has to be something. He’ll put his hand on your ass sometimes while you walk in public.

-Honestly doesn’t even think PDA is anything out of the ordinary. Like, you’re his s/o??? Yes you’re in his lap, yes you’re in the middle of the skatepark, so what? You’re his, and he’s happy he can make everyone aware of that.

-I saw a post on here that said he would peel stickers off fruit and stick them to peoples’ foreheads, and I fully stand by this. However, it doesn’t just stop at fruit stickers. Anything remotely sticky, whether it’s tags from clothes, tape from a food box, even random sequins and bits of glitter he finds around, it’s immediately being stuck to some part of your face.

-Loves casual dates. Stopping by food stalls, browsing in clothes and game stores for a few hours, and skating around with you until it’s time to go home is a dream for him. Be prepared for day-long dates, because he will clear his entire schedule just to spend the day with you.

-His family adores you. His mother is always goading him to bring you over more, complaining that she misses her "honorary son/daughter/child". His sisters love you too. Any time you come over there’s immediately three tiny bodies shooting at you, grabbing you by the waist and dragging you over to wherever they’re playing. Reki tries to drag you away, wanting to have you for himself, but you always try and stay for at least five or ten minutes. Secretly, he loves that you get along so well with his siblings, going soft at the thought of how you would act with children of your own.

-He loves playing video games with you. Sitting in his lap, the two of you could spend hours switching from game to game. One minute you could be burning down a village in Minecraft, the next complaining while Reki whoops your ass in Mario Kart. His mom brings you food for your breaks between games, and she’ll even stay for a few minutes to talk to you while Reki shifts underneath you, glowing red from embarassment.

-If you can’t skate, he would beg to teach you. If you accept, he goes all out. He’ll make you your own customised board just for practicing, making sure it’s absolutely perfert for you to learn on. But if you can skate, get ready for endless races and competitions to see who can nail a new trick the quickest.

-Adores when you come to S to support him. He loves looking into the crowd and seeing you there cheering him on before he goes into a beef. If he wins, he’ll race over to where you are in the crowd, picking you up and spinning you around, kissing you without a care in the world. However, if he loses he’s thankful you’re always there to pick him back up and make him feel better afterwards.

-Loves cleaning you up after a big fall, kissing your bruises and cuts better. He’ll carefully wrap each injury with care, telling you how brave you are, no matter how small the cut. Secretly, he loves when you baby him after he falls himself. Seeing you wipe away the blood from a new cut and place a small plaster on it with such tenderness melts his heart in a way only you could.

-Speaking of plasters, this man has one for every occasion. Princesses, pirates, aliens, cats, dogs, sparkles, stripes, you name it, he’s got it.

-The type to sneak you out at two in the morning to get a slushee with him. Honestly, he’s up so late making boards for people he just has no perception of time.

-Spams your phone with TikToks or other funny things that reminds him of you. It could be a very specific thing, or a flower or cloud. If he thinks of you when he sees it(which is fairly often), it gets sent to you.

-Talks with his hands a lot. He’s a very expressive talker, so when he’s telling you a story it feels like you’re right there in the story with him.

-Please just kiss him. His cheeks, his forehead, his hand, his shoulder, his temples, his lips. Anywhere, he’ll melt under you. Mf is touch starved to the max.

-Always knows how to make you laugh. His laugh is infectious, it could get you out of your darkest moods.

-Sleeps with his head on your chest, and one hand in your shirt little perv.

-His social media is like a SHRINE for you. His highlights, his posts, his stories, EVERYWHERE. He’s just so proud to be able to call you his that he wants the whole world to know.

-Kisses in the rain while you run home, skateboards in your hands after the weather forecast failed you once again. He’s just so happy in the moment that he can’t contain himself, so he’s pulling you into him in the pouring rain, kissing you hard while your hair gets drenched.

-You don’t need to steal his clothes, he will literally give them to you because “you just look so cute wearing them”. Occasionally, he’ll take one of your hoodies, and even if it doesn’t exactly fit him, he’ll still keep it near him while he sleeps so he can keep your scent close to him.

Langa:

-This man is so oblivious to obvious hints, but still manages to pick up on the smallest of details? It’s incredible, honestly. He could describe the exact colour of your eyes with the most insane detail, but he still won’t notice when you try and hint that you like him in the first place!

-You two have a bit more of a low-key relationship, but you’ll make your usual appearance in his Instagram posts, or on his Snapchat story with a casual caption like a simple heart, or “my love<3”

-Not very big on PDA, not because he doesn’t like it, but because he doesn’t think of it. However, when he does feel like he’s being too physically distant, he’ll link pinkies with you as you walk along, or rest his head on your shoulder while you watch a video on your phone.

-His mom adores you, which is why Langa despises bringing you to his house. You always seem to leave with seven of his baby photos from his time snowboarding in Canada, a new recipe from his mother that you complimented, another one of his hoodies, and more miscellaneous stuff that you don’t even know how it ended up in your bag. He has a little shelf in your room specifically for this random stuff, and he always adds to the collection when he comes to your house. He’ll leave a keyring, a small toy, a Polaroid, anything honestly.

-Loves dates that you can experience. The movies, aquariums, museums and the zoo are common dates for the two of you to go on, but other than that, he adores going skateboarding with you. He’s been improving, and he loves when you notice little things he’s been picking up on, whether it be a new trick or simply how he balances himself on the board.

-Adores old Disney movies. Yall will binge a ton of them in one day, having full-blown musicals in Langa’s living room. When any of the romantic songs come on, like “So this is Love” from Cinderella, Langa will stand up and offer his hand to you, as the two of you waltz around his sitting room, humming the tune of the song.

-Study dates are frequent with the two of you. If you happen to stay up late studying and fall asleep on each other, his mother will cover the two of you with a blanket, tidying some of your books and leaving with a smile, happy with the knowledge you were making her son the happiest he’s been in quite a while.

-Slow dancing in the kitchen while you cook is a regular. When a particularly sappy love song comes on while he stirs the pot, he’ll turn around and hold you close to him, twirling you around the kitchen.

-Reki constantly jokes that he is a third wheel, poking fun at the two of you, Cherry and Joe, and Shadow and “his little girlfriend back at the flower shop”. He’ll hang out of Miya, whining about them having to stick together since they’re the only two “lone wolves”. He’ll usually get a well-earned thump into the back of the head from Miya, but it’s still funny to watch the whole thing go down.

-Tends to be shy when giving you clothes, so instead of asking you to wear them he’ll leave them out in places he knows you’ll find them, or he’ll come up behind you and plop it in your lap, murmuring about how cute it would look on you.

-Please do this man’s makeup. He will sit so still for you, waiting patiently while you dab eyeshadow at his eyes, trying not to blink so you don’t mess up his mascara. He’ll sit there mesmerised for a few minutes, taking in how he looks, and simply whisper “you do this every day?”

-Evem though he’s not a very openly affectionate person, he is stuck to your hip behind closed doors. He’ll lie in your lap for hours, staring up at you while you mess with his hair, pulling it into little plaits and pigtails.

-I can’t even describe how the two of you sleep. It’s simply a mass of limbs, and no one knows exactly what belongs to who. Somehow one of yall will end up upside down, and-why is Langa on the floor??

-He could talk about his time in Canada for hours, and you’d just lie on his chest and listen to him. Every once in a while he’ll look down at you to see if you’re still listening, and his heart will melt a little every time he sees you staring back up at him, eyes wide with interest.

-This man NEVER gets jealous. You’d literally have to cling to another man for it to click in his brain that Oh. He doesn’t like that.

-He’s not big on texting, but if you call him he will stay on that call with you for hours, even after the two of you fall asleep.

-Whenever he falls(which is quite often), you’ll always have plasters on hand to help fix him up. He always flushes bright red when you kiss his cuts better, and never knows just what to do with himself afterwards.

-When he skates against tough opponents, you’ll always give him a kiss for good luck. Of course, this doesn’t stop you worrying, but you know Langa wouldn’t go out of his way to get injured. And if he does, well, at least he’ll have you there to kiss his bruises better.

You and others watched as Adam reached into the box, pulling out the name that he would be matched up with.

“Ooh! I wonder if I’ll be paired up with Snow! The suspense is killing me!”

He pulled out a paper and when he read the name, he sighed. 

“Rose… whatever. Looks like I’ll be going against them.”

You frowned at his reaction and looked over at Joe and Cherry who were waiting for the rest of the matchups.

“Looks like you’re going against Adam…” Cherry looked at you.

“Don’t get hurt.”

You looked further to see Joe was still staring at the screen. He finally looked at you, his gaze serious.

“Please, don’t get hurt.”

You gave him a smile. “I’m not gonna lose to a person like him.”

“I didn’t say ‘don’t lose’. I said ‘don’t get hurt.’ Which I mean.”

You silently nodded. “I won’t.”

The day arrived and you waited at the start line, looking around for Adam. You scoffed and smiled at Joe.

“Looks like he’s a no-show, huh-”

“Were you waiting for me?”

You turned to the entrance and saw Adam skating towards you, dancing on top of his board. He stopped beside you, not giving you a second glance. He smiled out at the crowd who was cheering him on. You rolled your eyes until you noticed that the stoplight lit up. You mounted your board, glancing at Adam. He was looking straight ahead. You looked at the route you two were about to ride until you heard the bell. You propelled yourself onto the track, Adam following and you two skated down the path.

“You’re a good skater~!”

You looked over at Adam and scrunched up your nose at his words.

“I know.”

He smirked at you and you looked away, opting to focus on the race. It was about halfway through, and you were gaining on Adam. He noticed this and looked back at you, giving you a smirk.

"Oh now, darling. That isn't good."

You watched him jump off his board and pick it up, but hadn't realized it, until you were falling off of your board. Your back hit the dirt when you felt the dizziness. He hit you with his skateboard, and he was just standing over you.

You heard quick footsteps running towards you and him and you saw Joe coming into view. He picked you up and glared at Adam.

"You damn son of a bitch."

"Now, now, that language... unbecoming... Joe..."

Your eyes slid closed and everything became more muffled and muddled.

"Just sleep... save your strength."

The room was bright and blurry around you, and you reached up to shield your face. You blinked once. Twice. Your eyes finally focused and you saw you were in a hospital room. You moved your hand down and saw Joe sitting next to your bed.

"J...Joe?"

His eyes slowly opened and he looked over at you, letting out a soft huff.

"You're awake."

"Yeah..." You sat up carefully. "How long was I asleep?"

"Not long... Just a day." He looked at the ground. "I should have-"

"There wasn't much you could do. You can't change the matchups and we were on the track."

He crossed his arms. "I just felt like I needed to do more."

You turned to him, a soft smile on your face. "It's fine, Joe." You set your hand atop his. "Please, don't feel bad." You squeezed it lightly before pulling it away."

Joe sighed. "I doubt you'll be able to skate?"

"Yeah, that's gonna be impossible right now. I can't go against anyone for a while."

Joe groaned and shook his head. "I hate Adam."

"I hate him too... so, promise me something."

"Hm?"

"Beat him. Make him pay."

He stared at you before nodding. "Of course, I will. For you." He smiled at you.

You two sat in the hospital room, chatting about nothing with each other, until he had to go.

"Tomorrow, I'm going against Snow. Wish me luck."

"Good luck."

He smiled, showing off his canines. "Thanks. I'll be back tomorrow morning to talk some more. Get some rest."

"Thanks. Have a nice night."

He left the room, waving at you, and you waved back.

—Speaking of Reki's family, Reki's mother is played by Reki's voice actor's, Hatanaka Tasuku, real life mother, Fukushima Keiko. The conversations between Reki and his mother feel really warm and just watching them makes me smile.

That's right, It's really lovely! The one who did the casting was the sound director, Mima Masafumi, and so we didn't know about it until the day of recording so it was really surprising. Even after we finished recording Fukushima-san said "Because he has this type of mother he grew to be this type of son" and it seemed kind of...... like she understood(lol). Though while we were recording Hatanaku-san was making a weird face like he couldn't stand it......(lol). But that also made him seem like he was a boy around that age so it was really charming☆

—So please pay attention to see their real life mother and son interaction, I guess (lol). Now, in episode 4 ADAM finally makes his skating scene debut.

Since he's a masked character, and since he has that outfit, we figured people would be anticipating him so we really took it as a challenge in our work. We couldn't just make him a normal enemy, he needed a last boss feeling. We were really focused on showing through his skating that ADAM's weirdness and craziness isn't just his looks.

—He really does have the feel of a last boss. I could really tell why Reki was scared too, I was scared just watching it.

(lol). We staff thought that the audience would feel more excited about it though...... we didn't think people would be that creeped out by it and so we were in the studio thinking how did this happen......!? (lol) But if that means his insanity was conveyed then that's good enough I guess

—The theme of ADAM's skating and beefs, are they a "ritual of love"?

ADAM himself hasn't said it's a "ritual of love" but that's just how the people around him feel so...... I don't know if I'd call it the theme. It's just, in episode 4 he was skating in a beef against an opponent he wasn't interested in, so it's like he wasn't giving it his full strength, so he was just being menacing, playing around, and harassing him. Then in episode 5 he's skating against his favored opponent so he was probably skating his best. We were really perplexed about how ADAM would act when he was seriously competing.

—That seems really troublesome. I think you pulled it off really well though.

Well I'm not a pervert either so...... (lol). His outfit was based on a "love" and "matador" motif so we figured he would probably be passionate about beefs too so we tried to find a whole bunch of little hints, for instance we thought about using an unusual skating style. And so, there are really people who dance on long skateboards and that was really cool so I really wanted ADAM to do that so it was my ambition to make that come true! It probably surprises people who have never seen it before, but it really is a real skating style that we've just exaggerated on a tiny bit. But it really couldn't be animated without skill, so I got the veteran animator, Kagami Takahiro, to draw the key frames for it and it turned out really well

—ADAM's trick was really excellent too.

The "love hug" right? (lol) Ookouchi is the one who came up with that trick idea and the name, then when we were talking about how to show it, we verified it with our skater staff and made it a trick that could be done in real life. He kept complaining that it was really difficult..... He kept saying "why the hell would he climb the hill......" (lol).

—(lol) So about the depiction of Langa growing wings when he avoided the love hug......

ADAM really isn't a normal person so I think it's natural that what he sees isn't normal either, since he calls himself ADAM he probably wants to find his eve, right? So we wanted to make it look like he'd found his eve so that's how it ended up that way. The reason we made it look like a painting was because ADAM lives in a mansion , and he listens to classical music, so I'm sure he grew up looking at paintings all the time so I think it makes sense that he'd see him that way. I consulted with our director of photography, Ikegami Masataka, and he said "I'll do it." I didn't know if it would turn out well so when I actually saw that it looked like a painting I actually ended up clapping(lol).

—The beef between ADAM and Langa ends without being settled, and then the tournament starts, so I think we'll see those two in a beef against each other again, so I'm really looking forward to what kind of battle we'll see in the future.

ADAM is a complicated character, how he acts when he wears a mask, when he's a politician, and when he's in front of Kikuchi are all different so he's difficult to understand, there's a lot there to take in and writing it is very difficult too so I'm sure that there are a lot of things the viewers aren't understanding, but his past and things will slowly be revealed so please watch it while trying not to miss out on anything!

—I'm interested in what will happen with ADAM's secretary, Kikuchi after this since he hasn't appeared much yet.

He is a very suspicious character isn't he(lol). I think it would be a good idea to pay attention to his relationship with ADAM.

—Then next I'd like to ask about episode 6, they wore swimsuits and went to an onsen so it was an episode with a lot of various things in it.

It was a breather episode where I wanted to see them do normal things. To begin with we planned for it to be a breather episode with no beefs in it, but we figured with the people there that they would definitely end up in a beef to make it to the secret onsen...... and so it actually ended up becoming a pretty high energy episode.....(painful laughter). But I wanted to see everyone in swimsuits so I have no regrets(lol)!

—(lol). The paantu had a huge impact too.

I went on a personal trip to Miyakojima in the past and I learned about them then, and when I mentioned it during a script reading session everyone thought it was interesting, and so we decided to actually use it in the show. You hear a high pitched scream in the distance and run the other direction but if you're just focusing on the direction it came from they'll end up attacking from the other direction, so just watching it it seems like a really interesting festival but actually participating it is really scary (lol). We had permission to draw it in the anime so people who are interested should try to keep calm and go participate in it☆

—At this point we start to learn more about Cherry blossom and Joe and their relationship with ADAM, so how did you make those two characters?

They were created to be part of the "adult group". I guess the point where their designs really solidly formed was around the time where Ookouchi was writing the scenario for episode 2. Like we said, Sakurayashiki has a surprisingly bad mouth?!...... he might have been a former delinquent...... things like that(lol). I think seeing them together in that scene made me see a lot of different things about their relationship and that opened up a lot of different avenues.

—In episode 6 the scene with Reki and Joe really left an impression on me. It made me feel like Joe felt a certain way about the relationship between Reki and Langa.

"I think Joe is overlapping his past with Reki and Langa. I think that he's watching over them and thinking that while things might not have gone well for them in the past, he's sure that they will be alright. But while it's written in their profile that they get along like cats and dogs, when I looked at the script for episode 4 when Sakurayashiki went to his store I was like "is this what you call getting along like cats and dogs......?" and so we thought about why he would go to the shop and figured it was because he wanted to charge Carla...... or rather he was stealing energy(lol)?

—In episode 7 Reki and Langa's feelings end up crossing.

I think that they get along well but they didn't really have any bonds between them. I think especially for kids around that age, that everyone fights, and so I want them to experience that and grow from it. When we become adults we learn to read the atmosphere and avoid confrontation, so this is a good time to fight with people, that's what youth is about, I'd like to convey that even if you get hurt, that is a way to grow. So please watch over their first fight with care.

—Reki is surrounded by people who are really talented so it's really difficult to not feel like "I don't want to be left behind" isn't it?

That's true. Reki is just pretty good in a normal way, so we had discussions about how he would compete when he's surrounded by people who are really strong during our scenario readings. If we didn't want to use some sort of superpowers then he was going to be no match for them......

—After Reki's friend who used to skate with him got injured, did he always just skate by himself?

That's the idea. Since Reki has that type of personality he has friends, but I think he never had any friends who would skateboard with him. After all, they see him get injured, so I think they think if it's so dangerous, they don't want to do it. Even I have had the experience of falling off a skateboard and getting a concussion so all I could see was white for a while...... and on top of that I injured my dominant hand so I've experienced the risks of skateboarding. But Reki and the others love skateboarding so they take that into consideration when they do it. But if you don't do that it can be really difficult.

—And while he's like that, Langa appears in front of Reki. He was really happy that he has someone to skate with now wasn't he?

I think he was happy and was really excited that he finally found someone who was interested in skateboarding! Watching the two of them gave me a really strong feeling that it's nice having someone you can spend everyday with. Of course that's mostly because Reki and Lagna are students, but I think it's really good to cherish that sort of relationship even when you fight.

—So once again, please tell us something that you thought was important while you were creating Reki and Langa.

When I first started creating this series the one thing I wanted to write about was "friendship", so if we didn't write them well individually, the friendship between them wouldn't bloom and so I kept that in mind while creating them. And another appeal of TV animation is that you can build on each episode, I think their changing friendship every episode is the most important thing.

—Now, could you tell us if there have there been any interactions with the staff that really left an impression on you?

There have been so many that it's hard to choose...... for a recent story, I was called over by a staff member while we were making episode 6 who wanted to "check something", when I looked it was about a shot of Langa skating in his yukata from the waist down and in that shot his yukata suddenly opened and you could completely see his underwear......(lol)

—I guess they were checking to see if it was okay to show his underwear this much?

That's right (lol)! Even though it was a shot intended to show his legs, it had become a cut to show his underwear......(lol). The key animator was a guy so of course there was no bad intentions. It was just a natural thing he wanted to do, but it ended up having a different intention so we amended it, and after that it became forbidden to show Langa's underwear (lol). By the way, if it had been Reki it would have been okay. He's always wearing his pants to where you can see his underwear, and he himself wouldn't even care about it. But when you sleep in a yukata, when you wake up it's all messed up so I think if they were to do a beef in an a yukata they'd probably end up with only the obi left on, so while we didn't draw it, I imagine all of them only had their obis left on when they finished (lol).

—Now, the first volume of the blu-ray and dvd is going on sale in march, so could you please tell us about the special drama CD "Cindereki" that comes with it?

When I talked with the staff about what they wanted to do that they couldn't do in the actual story, the script writer, Ookouchi-san, just nonchalantly came up with the Cindereki plot and it was instantly okayed(lol). It's a story completely in a fantasy world and having everyone in female clothing in the anime would be a bit difficult to depict(lol), and so I think you'll have fun just listening to it and completing it with your imagination.

"From episode 7 onward, in the tournament leading up to the final episode the beefs get increasingly aggressive. It's going to get even more exciting from here on out so please enjoy it and see this story out till the end. More Renga headcanons because I'm big dumb - Swearing Edition

Also I will be writing more of these and these do appear in my fic, though this is a lot more explicitly stated (yes, a shameless plug)

Langa swears like a sailor, but exclusively in English. He will somehow slip in English swears into his Japanese without it sounding weird

He also swears in front of his mother (mostly when he hurts himself or does something dumb or messes up. Not swearing at his mother). The first time Reki hears Langa say fuck in front of his mother, he is convinced Langa had a death wish. Nanako does not care, as long as her son remains polite in front of others. Reki does not get used to it

Reki, however, does not swear.

Sure, he'll say things like shit and hell and ass, but never real swears. Only playground swears. And fuck is out of the question. Reki is a good big brother and he has the duty of being a good role model in some way. He's already a horrible influence when it comes to school and being careful, so if at least he can be good with his language, then so be it.

The first time Langa hears Reki say fuck, his heart nearly stops

They're at work and it's a slow, but really bad day. Reki was in a bad mood when he got there, looking a lot more tired than usual, his usual sunshine glow completely gone

Reki snaps when he drops a box of wheels on his foot, the first fuck (at least around Langa) escaping him, not that he seems to care that he just swore really loud

Langa freezes, almost dropping the pen he was holding. It's shocking to hear Reki swear. Also a little hot but sh. And he has no idea what he should do. Should he leave Reki alone or help him out?

He ends up cautiously approaching Reki to see if he's okay. It's like approaching a bomb just waiting to explode, but Langa can't think of anything else to do

Without warning, Reki falls into Langa's arm, face nuzzling into the crook of Langa's neck

Langa tenses. He feels his face burning up because Reki is so close. Reki is pressed against him. Reki is legit leaning into him. And Langa has no idea what to do

"What are you doing?" "Recharging. You're warm."

Langa is 100% gone at that point, but he does manage to hug Reki back. And they stand there, hugging, for a good 10 minutes until the door is chiming and someone is walking in and Reki is back to his cheery retail worker persona, greeting them, ready to help them.

Langa ends up locking himself in the backroom until his heart calms, but he didn't miss the slight flush of Reki's cheeks when he jumped back from Langa

A/N: my first request for Reki and Langa! I'm so excited because I love those boys with my whole heart; they deserve the world! So excited to write this!

Warnings: use of the term "slut", complex teenage relationships/sexuality discussed

Flopping over onto your back on the bed, you stretched your arms and legs out and let out a loud yawn. You, Reki, and Langa had been working on homework ever since the three of you had arrived at Langa's house after school and you were starting to get mentally exhausted. 

"I'm done!" you exclaimed, shutting your eyes and exhaling.

Peeking at you from where he was lying on the floor, Reki cocked a brow at you. "You finished all of it?"

"No." You shook your head. "I'm just done. My brain hurts. If I do any more I think I might die."

"Good enough for me!" Reki closed his textbook as well and stopped doing his homework too.

Sighing from his spot at his desk, Langa turned in his desk chair to face the two of you. "We have to have this done for tomorrow. You do know that, right?"

"Yes, obviously." You rolled your eyes. "I'm going to do the rest later. I just need a break."

"Exactly. Break time!" Reki stood up from the floor and promptly fell down on top of you on Langa's bed, crushing you and pushing the air out of your lungs in the process. "I'll finish later too."

Langa scoffed. "Y/N I believe . . . but Reki, we all know you'll forget about it tonight and end up scrambling to finish as the teacher goes around collecting it tomorrow morning."

"He does have a point," you wheezed out, trying your hardest to push Reki off of your stomach.

Reki frowned and stuck his bottom lip out dramatically. "You guys are so mean to me." He adjusted himself on top of you so his face was hovering right above yours. "I expected this from Langa, but you, Y/N? I thought you loved me."

You forced out a laugh as you cupped his face with your hands. "I do love you, but that doesn't mean you don't have faults, Reki. I love you despite your faults, and one of your faults is procrastination."

He furrowed his brows, his face scrunching up in thought. "I can't tell if that was a compliment or not."

"The gist was that you're loved," Langa muttered as he continued working away at the homework one question at a time, trying his best to ignore the two of you.

Reki's eyes lit up at that. "Well, good!" He smiled as he cupped your face with his hands in return and pressed a soft kiss to your lips.

Immediately, your cheeks turned red and you averted his gaze. Things between the three of you were still relatively new and you were still working out how a relationship with three people worked, exactly. The fact that neither one of you had ever really had a serious relationship before only made things more complicated.

Noticing your reaction, Reki brushed the pads of his thumbs over your cheeks. "Sorry," he apologized. "I should have asked before I kissed you."

"No, it's okay," you assured him, a soft smile on your face as you did so. "I'm just not used to it yet, especially since our relationship isn't exactly . . . normal."

"I know." Reki hugged you tight and buried his face in your neck, pressing a soft kiss to the skin there. "Did you tell your parents yet?"

You shook your head as your heart began to pound nervously. "No. Did you?"

"Not yet," he mumbled into your neck. "Every time I try to, one of my siblings is around and I abort mission."

Craning your neck, you looked over at Langa. "Did you tell your mom yet, Langa?"

Only half-listening to the conversation, Langa perked at his name but tilted his head quizzically at the inquiry. "Did I tell my mom what?"

"About us," Reki clarified. "The three of us being together."

"Oh." He seemed to grow nervous about the topic as well. "Not yet. Soon."

Finally rolling off of you, Reki laid on his back and pulled you into his side, his arm wrapped around you and your head resting on his chest. "If only we were adults and didn't have to worry about the approval of our parents."

"Yeah," Langa agreed, thoroughly distracted from his homework now, his mind running a mile a minute while he thought about the current predicament. The three of you had to be careful when you went over to each others' houses, trying your best to convince everyone that you were just close friends and nothing more.

Cuddling and kissing were usually reserved for late nights when the sun went down, the lights were turned off, and the three of you hid behind the excuse of watching a movie together. Funnily enough, watching a movie together and cuddling had been how the three of you had discovered your feelings for one another.

"Speaking of that, you two should be careful." Langa gestured to the way you and Reki were holding each other on his bed. "What if my mom walks in?"

"Yeah, you're right," Reki sighed. "I just feel like we never get to be together how we want . . . we're worried about what our parents will think at home and worried about what everyone else will think at school. You exhaled slowly, cuddling closer to Reki. "They'd probably call me a slut for having two boyfriends."

Standing from his chair, Langa walked over to the bed and laid down with you and Reki, forgetting about all of his usual paranoid worries for the time being. "You're not a slut," he told you, wrapping his arms around you as well. "And who cares what anyone else thinks anyway, right? As long as we're happy and we're not hurting anyone else, that's all that matters."

Relishing in the feeling of having your two favourite people on either side of you, you started feeling the stress fade away and your body relax from its usual tense state. "I wish we could stay like this forever."

Before either Reki or Langa had the chance to respond, the bedroom door suddenly swung open and Langa's mom poked her head into the room. "Langa, are you friends staying for dinner or-" She stopped talking as soon as she saw the three of you tangled up in one another on the bed.

Immediately, the three of you jumped away from each other, the stress that had just left filling your body once more. Completely caught off guard since Langa's mom usually knocked first before opening the door, neither one of you knew how to explain away what she had just seen.

"M-mom!" Langa was standing on the opposite side of the room now while you and Reki stood on either side of the bed. "Why didn't you knock?"

Langa's mom eyed the three of you, quickly noticing the flushed faces and obvious nerves radiating off of you. Even if she hadn't thought anything of what she had seen at first, she definitely suspected something now with how the three of you were acting.

"I apologize," she said, pushing the door open all the way and standing in the doorway. "Langa, dear, do you have something you want to tell me?"

Fiddling nervously with his fingers, Langa turned to look at you and Reki, trying to gauge your reactions and decide whether he should tell the truth or try to pull off some sort of lie; but both you and Reki were completely useless as you stared down at the floor and shifted anxiously.

"Langa?" His mom prompted once more.

Finally meeting his mother's gaze, Langa drew in a deep breath. "Can you promise not to be mad?"

Langa's mother quirked a brow quizzically. "You're starting to worry me, honey. Just tell me what's got you so flustered."

"Well . . . u-um," Langa stumbled over his words, completely unsure how he was supposed to just come out and say it. "Well, Mom . . . Reki, Y/N, and I aren't . . . aren't just friends."

Langa's mother folded her arms over her chest and took a minute to process what she had just heard. "I'm sorry, I don't think I understand what you're trying to tell me."

Deciding to rescue Langa from having to ride solo on this, you stepped over to him and took his hand in yours. "Mrs. Hasegawa, Langa and I are dating," you told her.

"Oh, I see." Langa's mom's face flashed with understanding, but then she looked over at Reki, no doubt wondering how he fit into all of this.

"And I'm dating Y/N." Reki stood on the other side of you.

Langa nodded. "And I'm also dating Reki."

The understanding that had once been visible on Langa's mom's face had completely vanished after the three of you had elaborated. "S-so . . ." She paused as she tried to fit all the pieces together in her head. "So the three of you are all dating each other? Is that right?"

"Y-yes," Langa confirmed. "We know people will think it's weird but it's just what makes us happy and I just . . . just please don't be mad."

"Mad?" Langa's mother seemed offended at the insinuation that she could ever be mad at her son for, for lack of a better term, coming out to her more or less. "Oh, dear, I could never be mad at you for who you love."

Before either of you had the chance to process how well that conversation had just gone, Langa's mother was striding over to the three of you and pulling you all into a hug. "All that matters is that you're happy and healthy," she told Langa before looking to you and Reki. "And the same goes for the two of you. I don't know what your parents have said about this, but just remember that being happy and healthy is all that matters."

"Y-you're really okay with this?" Happy tears began to well in Langa's eyes. It was clear that he was overjoyed and shocked that his mother had been so accepting so easily.

Placing her hands on her son's face, Langa's mother smiled at him. "Of course, I am. Is it a little confusing for me? Sure. Do I know much about being in a polyamorous relationship? No. But if the three of you have discovered that this is what makes you happy, as I'm sure you have since you're all old enough to make your own decisions and know what's best for you, then I'm happy as well."

"Thank you!" Langa hugged his mom tightly, silent sobs escaping him as all the worry he had been carrying around for weeks dissipated and he was flooded with relief.

"I'll always love you, no matter what," Langa's mom told him as she glanced at you and Reki, who were starting to tear up as well. "Do your parents know as well?"

You and Reki shook your heads. "No, not yet," you said in unison.

"Well, I hope they are understanding," she told you. "And just know that the three of you are always welcome here."

"Thank you, Mrs. Hasegawa." Reki wrapped his arms around you and held you tight as you cried as well. "Really, thank you so much. We were all scared that everyone would think we were weird or gross."

"People are often scared of things that they think are different," Langa's mom explained to the three of you. "But that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with being different. I won't lie and say that everyone will be understanding, but the world is changing . . . don't assume the worst from people just yet; they might surprise you."

With that, Langa let go of his mother and engulfed you and Reki in a hug. Finally, the three of you had safe space where you could be together and not worry about judgmental people looking in on your relationship. 

Overjoyed and unable to control his excitement, Reki planted kisses on both you and Langa—marking the first time either of you had dared show affection in front of someone outside of the relationship.

“Come here your kimono isn’t tight enough“ your mother said as she went behind you to tighten it even more than before 

“Mom! I can’t breath if it’s this tight!“ you said almost wheezing for air.

“You have to make sure your waist looks small and appealing” she said, even though, looks are not everything in a relationship. As much as you didn’t want to, you had to look your best today, it was important. You were going to meet the man you were to marry. You were part of an important family in Japan, and of course your family was very traditional. This only meant you were already expecting an arranged marriage.  

 Today you were meeting with him for the first time. From what you heard, he was a successful calligrapher, and popular with women. You didn't quite know how to feel with that, but this was your future. Most people wouldn't agree with arranged marriages but, you love your parents and this is what they wanted.

They told you that he was a gentleman, and very respectful. Well your hopes were up now, hopefully you’re not disappointed. Could you possibly end up in a good marriage? walking into the home you were greeted not by someone work there, but by a voice.

“Welcome, master Kaoru is waiting for you in the meeting room.“ for someone who is traditional he sure had a good AI system. Walking off to the right your father opens the sliding door and there he was. A young man with long pink hair and glasses, he wore traditional clothing and seemed very proper.

“Mr & Mrs Y/L/N, welcome please take a seat.” Not a hint of emotion on his face.

He was stoic but not cold. He poured you all some tea and your parents begin to discuss the marriage. Now that you say there and listened to everything, it really started sinking in. A million things were flooding your mind, you felt so lost. In all honesty, you were scared of what was to come..

Just as planned the wedding happened 2 weeks from then. You couldn’t stop blushing that day, from anxiety, to shyness, to even Kaoru. He looked very handsome that day, and he was just as much as gentleman. The ceremony was calm and heartfelt, friends and family gathered to witness your union. He saw you were very nervous that day so, instead of a general kiss he gave you a quick peck.

Only for you to duck you flustered face, he found it quite cute actually. He thought you looked beautiful that day in traditional wedding attire. He took mental note son how you were as a person. “In a way, let’s go.“ if you thought tonight was strange you only got stranger, you would expect a person like him to have a motorcycle. Or to be carrying a skateboard for that matter, just who was this person and was he really your husband. Holding on to him you take off into the dead of night. eventually make it to the gate where he showed an s-shaped sticker and was granted entry. There multiple women started to scream 

“Cherry!!”  “Master Cherry!!” Were they referring to Kaoru?

“Yo Cherry, ya made it- and you finally brought a girl with ya. It’s about time” a tall muscular man with green hair said patting Kaoru on the back roughly. Next came a man with dramatic makeup and a cape. Two boys who seemed to ebe in high school, one with red hair and the other with blue. Finally a much younger looking boy with a cat hoodie. Huh, interesting crowd...

“Get off me!“ he said kicking him in the ass “This is Y/N, she’s my wife“ he said standing next to you and all their jaws drop

“Cherry is married?!“

“Huh, she’s pretty quiet compared to these girls...it’s kinda nice“

“Damn, and to think you could have gotten anyone but got married.“ Kaoru seemed very annoyed at this point 

“Yes I am married, she’s better than the screaming women here, and I will not toy with women like you do!!“ he answered all their questions in one go “Y/N, this is a place where skateboarders come to race, it’s called ‘S’, these are JOE, MIYA, Reki, Langa, and SHADOW“

“H-hello..“ you wave to the small group and they waved back 

“Y/N, do you mind stay here with Reki and Langa? I need to race and I’ll be back“ he asked laying hand to the top of your head and you nod. He leans down and places his covered lips to your forehead. He then picked up his board, it was black with some purple lining and goes to the start. 

There he and JOE get ready to race as a traffic light counts their start. After it turns green they were off like rockets. It was still a lot to swallow...how he kind of had a double life and you were just now finding out about it. It was a bit overwhelming when you really watched him go. The way he picked up speed and rounded corners, made you hold your breath and gasp with each trick he did. 

When they approach the finish line he had won and the crowd was chanting his name. They both made their way back bickering about who was the best skater, when they were both equally amazing. Crowds joined around them but you just stayed behind still processing everything. It wasn’t a bad thing, but you were just wondering so many thing. Cherry pushes his way through the crowd and to your side lifting your head without warning captures your lips in a kiss. 

This was the most intimate you had been with him, and in public! The crowd went quiet and some of the girls there complained or whined about not being in your place. After he pulls away he whispered to you

“Let’s go home...“ and you were on your way back to the comfort of your home. That night he had made love to you for the first time ever. It was passionate, and steamy, and full of love. He was your first ever so he made sure to go slow for you. Everything about it just felt so good, the way he held and kissed you. He handled you like glass but did not fail to meet your pleasure.

I also made it G/N reader since I wanted everyone to feel included and tried my best to make the reader as vague as possible

You’re walking to Reiki’s house since he invited you to have a sleep over, crossing the street and walking up a steep road.

As you walk upwards, you can hear whooping and laughs. You turn to your left and see Reiki with Langa skating towards you-- actually, it looks like they'll crash into you.

They did.

"(Name)!" Reiki launched up and goes to your side, helping you up. You groan and rub your hip, "Hi, Reiki. Having fun?"

He nods, "Are you okay?"

You nod and get up, you wave at Langa who dusts off some dirt on his clothes. "Hey (Name), what are you doing here?" He asks.

"Oh! Im going to Reiki's house, we'll be having a sleep over!"

Langa's eyes sparkled, "A sleep over? Its been a while since I've had one. Reiki, can we have one?"

Reiki chuckles, "Sure! But this time I wanna spend time with my lover. We can invite Miya when we have ours!" Langa smiles, nodding and picking up his board.

"Ah- Langa, where are you going?"

"Home. You're gonna spend time with your lover, right? We can hang out tomorrow. Bye."

Langa jumps on his board, skating away and out of sight as Reiki and you wave.

"You're both close, aren't you?" You giggle. Reiki grins and hugs you, "C'mon, lets go home. Its getting dark." You both walk to his home with his arm wrapped around your hip.

He suggested playing 'I spy' and you're both having a competitive game of a classic childrens game.

"Langa isn't here, Reiki."

"Hey!- Its not Langa- okay, at first it was-" He rubs the back of his neck as you laugh, "Its that car over there!- C'mon stop laughing!" he pouts.

The game was that exciting that you both didnt realise you've made it to his home. Where, his family, was peeking through a half opened door.

"Thats Reiki's lover?" His sister, Koyomi, asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Ahh!! my son has someone to call his own!" His mom, Masae,  gushes.

"Yeah, Finally." Koyomi scoffs with a tiny smirk.

Meanwhile, Reiki's tickling you with a goofy grin on his face.

"L-let me go!" unable to form a sentence, you cackle with laughter. "Never!!" Reiki stops and holds you tight, you can feel his smile when he nuzzles his head into the crook of your neck.

"Hey! The Dinner's getting cold, why don't you hug it instead to make it warmer?" Koyomi teases with a hand on her hip.

"Hey-  we're you watching this whole time?"  Reiki pouts, grabbing your hand and walking to his sister.

"Mm.. Maybe. Mama, Nanaka and Chihiro saw and they're waiting with food at the table!"

"Haha, very funny Koyomi." Koyomi shrugs with a cheeky smile, walking away.

"Reiki, I don't think she's kidding-" "Well, at least they know I love you lots!"

Afterwards, you eat dinner with them. Masae next to You and Reiki, Koyomi, Nanaka, Chihiro at the opposite end. Well, not just eat.. Talk about each other which led to the topic of Reiki in the past.

"Oooh! has Reiki shown you pictures of him in the past?"

"Mama-" "I haven't. Can you show me?" Reiki nudges you and you can see a light blush on his cheeks, you grin in response.

Masae who's clapping her hands and rushing to another room to find the photo books. She comes back with starry eyes and a smile similar with Reiki when he's excited.

She flips through the pages and presents a couple of photos of a tiny Reiki, one with him smiling beside a tree. He's wearing a shirt of a super-hero you don't know, a couple of bandages on his knees and arms and he's holding a stick. Its cute.

She sits beside you as Koyomi squeezes herself between you and Reiki. Reiki narrows his eyes with a raised eyebrow but Koyomi sticks out her tongue at him with a smirk. He rolls his eyes and ruffles her hair, "Hey, I just combed it!"

You watch with a smile forming on your lips. Its such a nice sight to see their family loving and supporting each other.

"And here, this is when he joined his first school play!"

Reiki yelps, "Mama! don't show them!!"

"Show what, Reiki?" you and Koyomi ask in unison, with grins-- mischievous grins.

He smiles slowly, "nothing. We can check the- uh, time I became a boy scout!" he responds with a shaky voice.

You didnt get to see the photo, sadly. The rest of the night was looking through the rest of the pictures and playing a couple of board games. Now its time to go to bed.

You're laying on the bed and waiting for Reiki to finish brushing his teeth. You're humming a song you heard on the way to his home, He finishes and comes out the bathroom with a sweat shirt on. Usually, he wears these when he's gonna make a board.

"Oh, are you going to make some boards?"

Reiki raises his eyebrows with widened eyes, "Huh? no? we're having a sleep over. Why would I do that?"

You shrug and make a gesture to forget about it. Reiki stares at you for a while and then he snaps his fingers as it clicks, he looks at his sweat shirt and back at you.

"Ah! right. Im sorry, I just love this shirt and I wanted you to see it." you shake your head.  "Oh don't be sorry Reiki, Im sorry as well, its just you always wear shirts like that when you're gonna work."

He lays next to you, looking at the ceiling with you.

"You know?"

"Once I visited you and your mom said you're making boards. So I went and saw you sleeping on an unfinished board, wearing a sweatshirt. You looked pretty cute."

Even if it's pretty dark, you can tell he's blushing through the silence. He is. with a huge grin.

"Thanks. You look awesome."

"Flattery doesn't work on me, Kyan." You joke. He chuckles and brings you closer to cuddle. "By the way, you should wear that costume during your school play again. You look awesome."

"You and Koyomi found it, huh?"

"Your work shed isn't a good place to hide things like that, Reiki."

Random sk8 headcanons (ft renga and matcha blossom)

Reki makes pillow forts for his sisters all the time and the spend all day in them watching movies

Langa was super awkward with Reki’s sisters at first, like he would say hi and just stand there

One day he was waiting for Reki to come home in his room when one of the twins came in crying looking for Reki

Langa ended up calming them down and after that he wasn’t awkward around them anymore

Miya like to go to Langa or Reki’s house and play switch with them

Like Reki, Miya went through a time when he was really insecure about his talent

Reki was the one to encourage him while he was doubting himself

Every time shadow picks up Langa and Reki, Reki’s mom gives him a ton of food

Reki’s sisters were terrified of shadow at first, even without the makeup

Reki’s mom definitely knows about his feelings for Langa but is waiting for him to come to her about it

Langa’s and Reki’s mom randomly met at the supermarket and started talking

It wasn’t until like 10 minutes later that their sons that they bragged about our each other’s best friends

When they have their fight, Reki’s mom talks to him to try and cheer him up, mentioning that break ups are hard

After his beef with Adam, cherry has nightmares about getting injured again and not being able to skate anymore

Joe will wake up with him and hold him until he calms down

Joe like to be the little spoon a lot

Cherry thinks about what Adam said to him about being a boring skater and starts to get insecure

Joe can tell something is on his mind but trusts that cherry will open up to him when he’s ready

Of course it’s not long until he does, but he breaks down as soon as he starts talking

Whenever cherry gets upset, joe will make his favorite dinner

Cherry, joe, and shadow hangout all the time outside of S

Cherry gets frisky when he’s drunk

Joe is a loud drunk but is the most responsible of the three

Joe usually ends up dragging both of them back to the cab

Miya fights with his parents a lot

When he does he goes to joes apartment

That’s when he finds out that joe and cherry have been together for a while

If joe and cherry are out in public with Miya, people believes Miya is their child

This makes Miya call them both dad, not just joe

Langa and Reki sleep over at each other’s houses all the time

When they finally start dating Reki comes out to his mom

The only thing she’s shocked about is that they weren’t dating before

Whenever one of Reki’s sisters gets scared at night, he lets them sleep in his bed with him

His sisters play with his hair all the time, putting it in pigtails or small braids

Reki plays with langas hair whenever the cuddle

Reki is the little spoon

Langa snores quietly and Reki thinks it’s adorable

Reki looks up to joe and goes to him for advice about anything

Eventually joe starts to see him as a younger brother and really cares for him
