I know that the obvious first pick is Yoosung, which I get, but frankly, the two of you would probably have the same types of issues, and while that could work if he was later along in life, from what we see in game, honestly, neither of you need that. Same with 707. Same with Saeran. Same with Jumin. Zen’s schedule doesn’t line up with yours, Vanderwood would probably have no interest, and V is a cuck, which leaves Jaehee. Jaehee has all the strengths that you generally lack and you have the strengths that she lacks. You can be emotional and take time to do what you’re passionate about, and she has a strong work ethic and a desire for stability. She’d make sure you stayed stable and on task, and you’d make sure that she takes time for herself. You don’t like people, which is great because Jaehee doesn’t seem like the type to drag you out, and all of your work is sedentary, which gives her the opportunity to come home to something safe and familiar. hi ! can i please request a romantic mystic messenger matchup ? i’m 19 my pronouns are she/her, and i would prefer a male match !

i’m 5’5-5’6, and have a quite tanned, olive skin tone with freckles, one brown and one green eye, and while i dye my hair every couple of months it’s currently black with a white piece in the front. i tend to dress quite grunge/emo and i have a fair few tattoos, probably too many ear piercings, and two nose piercings, but i’m always planning on more eventually.

i’m an aries, and i tend to be pretty impulsive, which can be a downfall with my lack of patience. i also can have a temper but i cool down pretty quick. i can be stubborn, but i’m also pretty determined and quite a hard worker, and i’m a very competitive person and usually try and be the best at what i do, which can also turn to a flaw when i don’t meet my high expectations of myself. i’m also the person who never turns down a dare. i can be loud and energetic, but i also honestly thrive in stressful situations and i am far too good at winging things i honestly swear that’s my only talent. i’m pretty playful and my parents tell me i’m too childish in that regards, but i’m really good at taking charge and being serious when needed. i’ve struggled a lot with mental health for pretty much all of my teen years so i like to do little things that bring happiness and try to romanticise a lot of things in my life so i can be pretty sentimental at times and try to be as optimistic as i can.

i’m currently studying forensic science, and have had a curiosity for true crime since literally ever. i’d say i’m really adventurous and i love when people want to do things with no planning, but i’m not opposed to doing anything by myself if i can’t drag a friend along. i live a couple of minutes from a beach and i tend to find myself down there most nights watching the sunset, especially in the warmer weather (which is literally all of the time where i am anyway) and i find it a place to escape from everything for a moment. i also love going on late night drives when i can’t sleep, or just on a whim. music is a big part of my life and unless i’m watching tv or a video i’ve got music playing. i listen to a bit of everything but usually i’ll be playing pop-punk/alternative/metal and while i prefer heavier stuff i don’t really hate any genre that i can think of. i also play guitar and bass guitar and sing a bit, even though i’m not super good. i also enjoy reading and painting, and i’m a pretty active person as well and absolutely love running because it feels so free.

i don’t really know if i have an exact type, but i think i want someone who i can joke around with and will match my energy but keep me grounded as well. i am a bit of a hopeless romantic and can fall for someone so quickly but move on just as quick (which isn’t as good at it can sound). i can be a bit of a flirt but most of the time i don’t mean to do it and i don’t realise i am. i think my love language is physical touch and words of affirmation but i also to value quality time, despite being pretty independent.

The only ones i am 100% assured off are Usagi (Sailor moon) is none other than yoosung. Sailor Venus is Zen, Sailor Mercury is jaehee.

What is your take on this

Ohhh, honestly, it's been a while since I actually dabbled into the Sailor Moon universe, so I'm pretty rusty, all things considered! But I did talk about a similar topic with a friend once. More precisely, who the mm gang would choose as their favorite character. This turned into a kind of mix-up between who I think their favorite would be, and who I actively associate with them. So, these are just my silly thoughts! Some are more deep than others.

Yoosung - Sailor Moon/Usagi Tsukino

I have to agree with you there: Usagi and Yoosung are definitely a very good match. I actually headcanon Yoosung as a huge fan of Sailor Moon franchise in mm universe! Particularly because he relates to Usagi so much, with her being the main character. He may or may not have had a fictional crush on her... but that's a secret (Seven definitely knows). These two are both cheery and bright spirits with big dreams. Their individual journeys involve self-improvement and maturity. He definitely cried more than once at her romance with Tuxedo Mask... The start of his romantic nature.

Zen - Sailor Mars/Rei Hino

You'll be surprised who I put Sailor Venus with! But, as for Zen, I love putting him up with more fiery and fierce characters. I always associate him with fire, honestly. Zen and Rei are both self-sufficient and resourceful in their own ways. And while Zen is definitely not as spunky or sassy as Rei, he more than compensates for it when you put him in a chatroom with Jumin. They both share a very strong sense of justice as well. Zen will not hesitate to say it how it is, or voice his frustrations in the face of unfair wrongdoings. They are also fiercely protective of their loved ones, which is definitely a very important quirk of Zen's. Overall, they share similar vibes, and I think they would appreciate each other for their individual strengths.

Jaehee - Sailor Mercury/Ami Mizuno

And yes! I am in agreement that Jaehee and Ami are a perfect match. Personally, Ami was my favorite 'cause I share so many similarities to her in terms of how I behave with other people, so I love that girl to bits and pieces. The obvious 'logical smart friend' parallels aside, there is also a similarity to their personal growth throughout their journeys. Learning to believe in themselves, be confident in their personal strengths, and finding internal growth through meaningful relationships with people who truly care about you is something they both learn. I think that's really sweet.

Jumin - Sailor Neptune/Michiru Kaioh

Now, it is kind of funny how I put the more creative Michiru next to Jumin, and not Jihyun. But, hear me out. Michiru is frequently depicted as a figure of elegance and sophistication. Kind of similar to how Jumin is always followed by an aura of refined and luxurious charm. I also always picture Jumin as a very elegant and attractive man when it comes to meeting him in person. I'd say, he is actually right next to Zen when it comes to stealing your breath away with just looks alone. His alluring way of holding himself is what really draws you in to him. Jumin is also much more sensitive than people give him credit for. I just can't help but put Michiru's water powers next to his deep care for those he holds dear to his heart. They are both stoic, but loving souls. Stern but righteous. When faced with conflict, they will do the right thing.

Saeyoung - Sailor Uranus/Haruka Tenoh

Listen. They may not share much in terms of their behavior: with Haruka being on a more cool and mature side, while Saeyoung is notorious for his love for mischief, but... First of all, they both share a love for cars. Specifically, race cars. It's likely that they would find a common ground on that. Especially with how nerdy Saeyoung is with his interests. Not many share his love for speed and his lovely babies! On a deeper level, they do also share a similar undying loyalty to their loved ones. Saeyoung with Saeran, and Haruka with Sailor Neptune. Plus, Saeyoung is more than capable of remaining cool and determined in the face of danger. There is also the whole 'protecting the world from evil' aspect, and Saeyoung wanting to be seen as a defender of justice, but I digress.

Jihyun - Sailor Star Healer/Yaten Kou

Honestly, the reason behind this is mostly Taiki's love for classical music and her talent as a pianist. I also really like putting her thoughtfulness and reservedness next to Jihyun's more emotional and reckless nature. I just feel like they'd make a very interesting pair with a relatively balanced dynamic. Jihyun needs someone who will tell him upfront when he's getting lost in his mind or acting foolishly. Taiki is a character who is both loyal and selfless, and she is willing to put herself in danger to protect her friends. That's a sentiment they definitely share.

Saeran - Sailor Pluto/Setsuna Meioh

There's just something about mysterious characters with tragic backstories, isn't there? This choice is biased because Setsuna is my second favorite, honestly. She doesn't get much screen time, but she left a huge impact on me regardless. There is a tragic sense of duty to her, that I can't help but link to Saeran's invisible chains of responsibility to his Savior and Magenta. The circumstances are very different, no doubt. But the weight of their duties is weighing heavily on their shoulders in a similar way. The willingness Setsuna has to sacrifice herself is a trait that I can also trace back to Saeran. If we hadn't stopped him, he would have sacrificed himself for us with a sad and reserved smile on his face. And that thought always hurts me to think about.

Rika - Sailor Venus/Minako Aino

This is honestly more of a biased choice, but I'll try to explain it somewhat logically, hehe. They do share a similar sense of mystery around themselves, until we get to properly see them as a thorough and rounded character. Minako and Rika are both very cheerful and bubbly people on the outside. A sort of 'sunshine' of the group. But, much like Rika, Minako has so much more than just her bubbly smiles and happy-go-lucky attitude. They both have rather ambiguous dreams, with Minako wanting to become an idol, and Rika aspiring to help as many people as she can. They both have a profound sense of responsibility in some way or another. If we're talking about Rika before the whole Mint Eye nightmare, I'd like to think that she and Minako would become great friends.

First Q: If these two games ARE connected, in what way would you love them to be related?

The consensus seems to be that if there is a connection, it’s probably related to 707 in some way. (Although one user pointed out Teo and V or Zen may meet/become friends due to the career connections)

I’m going to list out some possible ways that Seven could relate to Ssum.

1.) Ssum is a phone game that Seven programmed himself.

It is possible Seven made a dating app just on a whim (he’s certainly done other pet projects on a whim) and then forgot the password before its release, as seen in the MM screencaps.

(Contributed by: Saiph - gNAPzi) It is also possible he made this app to play out his personal fantasy of having a normal life with MC (with Teo being his self-insert). There are many elements in Ssum that seem to match his personal style and aesthetics (the space theme, the AI bird, etc). The setting is also somewhat similar to MM’s premise; meeting a stranger via a mysterious app that somehow ended up on your phone. 

(Contributed by: Nia - uHARzC) If you subscribe to reset theory or to the idea Seven is fully aware that he is in a phone game, perhaps Seven programmed Ssum as a way of keeping us company and checking in on us. 

2.) Aliens are real and Seven is directly involved with working for the Ssum Forbidden Lab or is at least aware of its existence.

(Contributed by: o6APzn) Perhaps Seven programmed PIU-PIU and some of the Ssum app’s interface. And maybe his involvement runs even deeper and Dr. Cus-Monsieur is just another one of Seven’s many alises-- or, in the very least, Seven knows the Dr and works for them. 

(Contributed by: Sofia- aeAOzj) Other people have suggested the easter egg you can find in the Achievements section may be hinting at something bigger. What if one day, Seven was hacking something and somehow discovered a signal from the Ssum Lab? He would learn about this incredible series of labs in space run by aliens-- and then he accidentally blocked the signal/lost the data. Seven desperately tries to find it again but never does and remains obsessed with “the space station” he knows is out there, doing mysterious studies on love.

3.) MysMe and Ssum are set in the same universe but have no direct relation (outside of a few easter eggs).

(Contributed by: Ms- ZfAPzT) This is perhaps the least complex theory. It’s simply the idea that Teo lives on the same planet/time as the people from Mystic Messenger do, but they probably won’t interact much, outside of a few easter eggs. However, user Ms pointed out that even though that may not be as exciting, it’s still a very nice thought. “I’m already happy just thinking that perhaps this world (Ssum) is a world where all of [the MM characters] exist, and that the MC of MM is helping them.” 

There is one last theory I did not see posted so far but I wanted to include real quick:

4.) MysMe and Ssum will be connected via some kind of multiverse.

There have already been several hints dropped that Ssum will involve a multiverse in its deeper plotline. PIU-PIU also talks about how they manipulate time and space around Teo, and seems to imply that Teo may exist in a different universe from ours/MC (or a different planet, at least). It’s reasonable to speculate that MysMe may possibly exist in the multiverse in their own dimension, too. (You can also get into a bunch of ideas spitballing off the April Fools Special from MysMe, which implies MC's dimension is seperate from the world of MysMe)

Kay, so we’re both in the same page with aesthetics, right? Both on board with that? Cool. You and Yoosung. I have said in the past that Yoosung has no business with a partner of any sort, and while I stand by that, I also cannot deny the fact of how good the two of you would look together, and post game Yoosung is decidedly less nuts than his younger self which puts him back in the running in my book. You guys share a lot of interests and you stay up at around the same times. You two have similar sensibilities and your general attitude toward keeping the peace would come in handy with a man so quick to jump to conclusions and prove himself. Obviously there’s the matter of his horrible coping skills but if you can get past all that then he’s a pretty good pick for a life partner with a stable job and a bright future.

Alright, so I’m not sure if you meant to say Genshin guys exclusively or if the boys part applied strictly to the MM guys so I’m airing in the side of caution and looking at just the guys (though in another world you and Ninguang would be totally cute together). I think you and maybe Xinqui would get along together pretty well for a few reasons. For one, while his haircut is questionable he has good style, and his color palette seems to generally go well with what I’m assuming is yours; a lot of rich, dark colors with occasional pops of gold, silver, or get tones. The two of you have mutual interests, and even though he is prone to putting himself in situations that aren’t the most desirable he seems generally easy-going until honor is involved. The only thing is that he seems like the kind of guy who would have a good sleep schedule, which is unfortunate, but the two of you could work it out. He’s got a bright future ahead of him; he’d make a good life partner.
