Here's my Spotify Wrapped this year. I'm surprised by my top songs this year but Closer by Ne-Yo is an absolute banger though, so I'm glad it's at number one. I'm so happy Fall Out Boy is my top artist because I was going through a phase of listening to their music last month. I'm happy with all my top artists but no.4 is a lie. I only listened to two Taylor Swift songs this year, I swear!

The whole 'Ne-Yo backtracking his publicist's apology on his opinion of trans kids from the Gloria Velez podcast' thing is so unreal, it's insane but unsurprising that a whole bunch of right wingers are all popping up on Instagram, YouTube, Twitter aka X (ugh) like they did with Jason Aldean to support him. I expect nothing less honestly. The right wing conservative media loves to jump on any chance to shit on trans people and the lgbtq+ community as a whole, spouting idiotic and untrue bullshit like letting a child be transgender is evil/child abuse and some how getting their genitals mutilated at the age of 5 or 6 is a narrative I've never heard of until about a week ago. The amount of people who believe the first thing that they hear on conservative tv channels that speaks of that asinine dreck is astounding in the worst way possible. Let trans people exist, they literally aren't a problem to any of us cis folks!
