I suck.
I don’t have many followers, so I know this won’t go anywhere because it’s nothing to truly care about, but I just need to rant and have no one else to rant to... A few months ago I decided to switch shifts, I switched from 2 PM - 11 PM, to 4 AM -2 PM... and I absolutely hate it. I should’ve never made the decision to switch, there just seemed to be sooooo many benefits of first shift, and that is not true. When I was on second shift, I slept, actually got stuff done, and even felt like I had a longer weekend. I came to first shift thinking I would be off work for beautiful afternoons in the summer and would get gardening done, and a whole bunch of stuff, but going to bed at 6 o’clock doesn’t leave you much of an afternoon to enjoy knowing you have to go to bed in just a few short hours. I also figured out a month or two ago that if I would have stayed on second shift I could have attended Cosmetology School which is my dream. So now I have the chance to switch shifts, but I would be in a different building doing a different job, would be away from seeing my mom every day who does the same thing as I do on the same shift that I do, and I would also be away from my girlfriend who won’t go into the other building because she’s already been in the building and she hates it and says that it’s a living hell especially to what we are currently doing now. So I could switch to the other building, and be back on second shift which I LOVE, but would be away from everything that I’ve already known for a year. The next downfall that I have is the fact that if I switch to the other building then I’m stuck for AT LEAST 2 years while I attend Cosmetology School, and also, I have the chance of receiving a better job in July at a Mental Health Facility working for the state (Not that Illinois is a great state to work for, but still.) So if I switch to second shift and get into school, I can’t quit school to go work at the other job, and there’s no guarantee of being able to go to school while working the other job either. So I’m just stuck, and I feel as if I’m too young to be this stressed out about jobs, school, and money. I own a house, my car, and a credit card here or there, I grew up too fast. I want my childhood back, but that’s the least of my worries.

UGH
I was on hour 58 of a fast and spoiled it by having a salmon nugget. To be fair it was a tiny nugget and probably about 15-20 calories. Yet I do so much better losing weight when I don't eat anything just drink tea and coffee. Even if I have like 400 calories a day my body won't lose any weight. I lost 4.9 pounds on this fast so far so I hope when I wake up I'll have lost more even though I ate something.
