REAL TALK - so my ultimate end goal is for Neo to basically be RWBY and Friends' Vegeta. The only SLIGHTLY reformed baddie who fights for the good guys, but is still an anti hero asshole.

But this especially works if there's a "THAT'S MY BULLLLMAAAA!" situation where Jaune gets severely hurt by someone (or something!) and Neo just goes absolutely feral and becomes a spinning vortex of Hush's blade and shattered Overactive Imagination mirror images.
