They become a lot closer with each other after, and they all have a lot more trust towards JD and are more accepting of his controlling behavior with the band because thats what helped them to achieve the perfect family harmony. There’s a lot of unresolved tension between everyone because of this though(except maybe like branch at least in that moment).

During the Bergen escape they ‘lose’ Clay, and the remaining members disband Brozone. They don’t exactly really separate from each other, and it actually keeps them closer together. Branch would start a solo career soon after with JD helping as his manager. With JD never really growing out of being controlling and everyone else being more complicit with it well…

TLDR : Branch grows up as a overworked child star

The way I’m sooooooooooo tempted to move it up my list…….I’m picturing very gritty sk8er boi vibes (but they end up together) and just like. Two different worlds that on the surface don’t go together, but they have more in common than they think and learn to understand each other. Judgment from both sides, their respective worlds not approving of the other, intercut with soft moments between the two of them because they’re annoyed by each other at first, but they can’t stop themselves from falling in love anyways. Gritty underground fight scene vs prim and proper ballet world. Bradley throwing a punch when someone talks shit on Jake, Jake surprising everyone by throwing his own punch on someone after Bradley teaches him to box a bit, softly icing and messaging each other’s sports injuries. There’s so much potential.

YES ALWAYS ABSOLUTELY. I fucking love an obsessive loser boyfriend. Francis will do just about anything to win you over, even after you're already dating. Yk those walk him like a dog edits on tiktok?? Yeah you always have Francis trailing after you like that. He thinks about you constantly, and if it’s physically possible he's going to be right with you. He's so clingy and devoted, he literally worships the ground you walk on. Lois knows if she tells Francis to stop calling you so much and sneaking out to climb through your bedroom window, it will only encourage him. She often results to disconnecting their phone and putting bars over his windows. Lois knew he was down bad for you so she expected to have to do something like that, but it only really dawned on her how much he likes you when she saw him trying to train a pigeon to send you one of many, many love letters he's written for you. You stop by the next day to take the boys to school like usual, and you see Reese and Malcolm chasing pigeons around the kitchen while Dewey screams and Francis yells at them not to rip the love letters he wrote for you (which are currently hanging off the pigeons feet). Lois knows if anything is going to scare you off, it's this. But you just laugh. You laugh and open the windows and pop out the screens so the birds can fly out. You get the boys their bags and lunches, say good morning to Lois and Hal, and take them to school. Lois realizes right then what a good fit you are, not just for Francis, but for their whole family. If you ever have a chance of marrying into their family (which knowing Francis, he's probably already trying to figure out your ring size) you need to be equipped to handle the chaos that comes along with it. And... you are. She has no idea how you manage to handle it so well, but you do. So now, along with keeping her sons alive and out of jail and making sure they all eventually graduate high school, she adds making sure you stay a part of their family to her priority list.
