Diana Belmont, “Nobody”, and Lacrima Țepeș

Three characters for a Castlevania based D&D campaign my friends and I are planning, and I’m particularly excited about Nobody, whose backstory I will gladly get more into for anyone who’s curious. But for now, just know he bears a strong resemblance to Soma for a reason.

Didn’t really care about composition while doing this, so it feels pretty lopsided. I just kind of wanted to get their busts down. But I’ll try better next time. 😅

I made another Mashimaverse AU

I haven’t thought it out throughly yet, but here’s Minerva.

Inspired by “One Piece,” and “Dead Rock” Ish.

Basically, The God of Life and Death was the only thing that lived throughout the entirety of time. Throughout every period he would gather 12 guards/subordinates that represented different races and territories.

There’s was different ways this was picked, for Dragons it was the ruler of Dragons who’d become the next subordinate. They usually roamed near the eastern region which would one day become “The Kingdom of Dragnof.”

Demons lived among humans in the neighboring kingdom, and instead of the next king of demons ruling. The rulers would pass down “Gods favorite angel” E.N.D.

(I’m not sure about the other 10 but i imagine it’d be revealed within the story or else this would just be Oc insert)

The point is I changed the magic system and made it rooted in lore. I’m not gonna explain too much but changes to remember are-

-Erza has Belserion sealed inside, and her father is acnologia. Which technically makes her Queen of Dragons.

-Wendy is also the child or Irene and Anologia. Making her their second child.

-Not a change, but yeah Natsu still END.

-The god of Life and Death died 400 years ago during the war with Irene and the dragon kingdom. (Well he’s just not alive atm)

-The magic system has three different types of magic users. Those who have genetic mutations (Inherited Magic) ,

Those who are taught a “maker magic” (A type of magic that cover regular magic energy into a specific type of magic while casting) Anyone can learn.

Or “Holder Magic” Those who use magic Items that already have lacrimas that create their own magic. Anyone can get.

Minerva’s name is associated with the Roman godess of wisdom, who’s commonly associated with owls, not as commonly with snakes. I was think about Erza and Minerva fighting together what would take Fairy Tails Magic system to One piece level. And ofcourse that would be an “awakening” of some sorts. So I took the Idea of snakes and ran with it.

Guildarts was in an entirely different league than the entire main cast at the beginning of FairyTail. But why if (by fairy tails magic system) anyone can learn the same magic. So I’m my scenario Guildarts has a genetic magic, Cana learned the holders magic from a young age since she never knew she could have Guildarts magic. Her awakening would be Guildarts magic since you can’t awaken and holders magic. Another example is Mira using satan soul and transformation magic which would mean that you can learn more than one type of magic in Fairy Tail which doesn’t make sense cause what’s stopping everyone from being zeref?

With Minerva I thought what if her history had anything to do with snakes. I decided her ancestors (on her moms side) would be snake charmers, much like the dragon charmers that existed before Irene became dragon queen. Though they used to play flutes to charm dragons it was actually just a ritual of swine sort and the instruments weren’t needed. This was lost when Minerva’s mom passed away while she was too young to learn.

Durring the battle with Erza I imagine somehow she’s presented with the opportunity to meet a Dragon Snake (idk a name yet). It sounded far fetched until I found out about the Dragon snake Xenodermus Javanicus. A nonvonmous serpent that assists Erza and Minerva in battle due to being under both of their titles.

(Basically character building for storyline)

In reality these snakes usually pass away in captivity, are small and only live for a few years.

I’d imagine this snake would be around 400+ years old, and survived the “war” 400 years prior along side some other creatures and dragon variants like the water dragons (that remained secluded under water). Because Dragon snakes don’t have as long of a life span as water dragons, the the serpents dwindled down to a few, while water dragons are still plenty in numbers.

Minerva can’t preserve the serpent in her pocket dimension. (Which is good for throwing enemies in every once in a while). Ofcourse the serpent can fly, that why it was recognized as a dragon in the fairy tail world. Because the snake has dragon ancestors it would’ve been recognized as one because the addition of flight that other snakes didn’t have. (Debatable weather or not Erik’s snake Cubellios is one aswell).

Storyline wise, what connection the Dragon Snakes has with Minerva or her ancestors, why Minerva’s mom was the last one with the magic, and all is really up to a story to tell. I don’t want this to sound fanfic-Ish but more the and actual au that takes a different turn in story. It would also explain why Minerva dad was really trying to exploit her, thought there’s no excuse for dv, and dv can start without cause or reason. Just an anime explanation type of thing.

I also have Ideas for Jellals “Tattoo/birthmark”, the Tower of Heaven, Sho’s “Tattoo”. Kagura and Ikaguras swords. And more. Even some Ideas about old Fairy Tail, and characters from before the 400 year skip. Like Anna and Acnologia.

FAIRY TAIL OC #2:

Karina Moonstar

Karina Moonstar, also known as the 'The Lady', is the most feared and power deity of all beings. There are many myths and folktales about her, but the most famous (and closest to the truth) is the story of Karina, who was an abandoned and rejected star from the sky, raised by animals and creatures of the woods with no human interactions. People called her the boogeyman of the woods, the witch and beast of the greens, therefore nobody ever dared to go through the forest. Not understanding why people hated her, Karina just wanted to be like the other humans and make friends.

One day, a young man dared to step into the forest (as a dare by his friends) but got lost very soon and remained in the cold, dark forest till nighttime. Scared, but mastered all his courage, he tried to find his way back when he stumbled upon the "beast" of the woods, Karina. He dropped his cheap-made sword and reach his hand to the girl. That moment, marked the greatest, most warm, and most generous love ever been told.

And like most beautiful stories, this also had a tragic end... The villagers found out the boy's frequent visit to the woods, and even his relationship with Karina.

They locked up the boy in the dungeon and tortured him, accusing him of treason and betrayal to the kingdom. Finding out, Karina desperately came to his aid and raided the kingdom with animals (not killing anybody) and saved him, retreating to the woods. People started hunting her down, burning down the forest and killing the animals.

Confused, heartbroken and scared, Karina was only able to hold the boy in her arms protectively, but soon ran out to try and save the forest and stop the humans with words of sincerity, but nothing worked. She was shot at by every men present. But the bullets never reached her as she was shielded by the body of her lover. Bloody, he only smiled at her; "I love you... I will love you in every chance I get to live again... You are my everything, Karina... so please,... find me in the future..."

He died in her arms, and as the villagers raided to attack her, Karina let out the biggest and loudest scream/cry/roar anybody has ever heard, ripping her mouth wider (causing the scar across her cheeks) and with only her roar she killed everyone, and destroyed the village and the forest. She was the only one remaining with her dead lover in her arms, and with menacing, yet sad and teary eyes, she stared down at him and promised "I will love you forever, nobody else- not even your next life- ONLY YOU! ONLY YOU, JERALD!"

2,000 years later....

Karina, 'The Lady', the first of the 10 Wizard Saints, the creator of lacrima and magic power, the Queen of Magic.

The Invincible Dragon.

Karina Facts:

~She is a very twisted and menacing person, who does not hesitate to kill.

~She is way too goofy for her level of power, and very unserious and unbothered. (Thinking about it, she is lowkey a female Gojo XD).

~Karina was the first to join Stella's team after the time skip.

~Karina is a dragon and her magic is Maker Magic called Magic Maker: Different ancient marks of different magic types appear on her body which she can combine; for example the symbol of fire magic and air magic appears on her body= Fire tornado, hot wind, fire wind etc.

~Due to her Maker Magic, she is always eager to (sometimes teasingly) coach Gray (but mainly seriously, which Gray does reject, but would take her advice to face value and use them).

~Her jaw can still open very wide, especially when she releases her dragon form.

~Being the most powerful, she barely uses her magic, and usually retreats to a wooden sword (left behind by her lover) and a golden bow 'n arrow (into which she concentrates her magic power to make the blow stronger).

~The strongest Wizard Saint, also known as the 'Godmother of the Council' by most royal servants.

~Her past lover's name was Jerald Ferdinando. He has been reborn 4 times, each time Karina has fell in love with him (even if refusing), but always pushed him away or was (almost always) killed, which only deepened the scars around her heart even more. For the fifth time, he was reborn as Jellal Fernandes.

~Their theme song would be 'One That Got Away' by Katy Perry.

New year, new me! ... Or at least continuing to try and build a me I like progressively more and more. Today's step? Starting to kill the part of me that fears being cringe by posting my @comicaurora self insert OCs even tho they're super self indulgent and occasionally lore-breaking (sometime because I misread/misremembered something from the lore page; sometimes because I use them in RPs and I like watching Erin lose his shit over something that makes no sense to him :P )

One of my earlier ones. Metalcaste because y'know. Wanting to be a cool metal lady like Tess. Ended up making an AU of the og version because the og version leaves Zuurith immediately after being released from prison and ended up being @nogenderonlyvoid's self insert's bodyguard. I wrote a ficlet that involved Icarus turning down Shrike's offer to take them to breakfast their first full day outside of prison, but Icarus turned her down and left Zuurith all together instead. Of course eventually I started wondering what if she took Shrike up on her offer and that's when the second version happened.

Can you tell I have a thing for wind-fire-lightning as a tri-element combo? :P

Oh hey, this one cursed out Caliban to his face. And for once we didn't do a wind-fire-lighting combo! Progress! Expanding to new horizons! :P

This one was a wind mage until I remembered that younger races don't do elemental magic. So she ended up obsessed with lacrima instead. Frequently mistaken for a freshman his entire time at the academy. Great way for me to vent my frustrations over how people responded to my baby face in college! May or may not have a starmetal dagger in their boot.

I keep doing AUs of this one. OG version was "adopted" alongside Tess and had to hide her full-leopard form because Galen was scared of it. Then did a version where The Ruunasers only knew about the leopard form and kept her as a pet until Falst enters the mix. And more recent AU has been "Snowspot" running away from the Ruunasers shortly before Tess sparks and running into Falst and chilling with him. Ruunaser twins (Erin and @nogenderonlyvoid's oc) don't find Falst's shifter buddy is Snowspot until Petrichor

Ah yes, nothing makes a possessed elemental magus trust you more than slapping a sealing cuff and ropes on him while he's passed out from fending off a primordial void dragon! In the Junior Champion's defense, they were badly injured from the battle and wanted to make sure the Void Dragon couldn't run away with his vessel while she trying to clean and bandage her wounds. Wrote a ficlet for this one that takes place shortly after he loses his status and his arm. Got to project my obsession with looking at the moon at night.

Narni Chaosbringer who I definitely did not forget to add until after initially posting :P ^^"" God of "everything fun" or "everything chaotic and destructive" depending on if you ask them or Zuurith :P Has one (1) emissary who is also an elemental magus because I reeeaaaally wanted to fuck with Erin.

the only exception to the above statement xd She's my avatar/mascot, essentially! There isn't much else to her honestly. Fun fact about her name origin though: My warriors.. sona, i guess? was called Morgenröte, or Dawnlight when i used her in english contexts, so Dawn's name is a callback to that c: I also considered naming her Morgan as a reference to "Morgen"

Kiran

Used to be a very spunky kid before Trauma TM happened and depression beat her ass. She's been getting better though! Used to be best friends with Lacrima but they've since grown apart. Loves animals and started working on Sam's farm partime.

Lacrima

Smart, self-sufficient, maybe a liiittle fucked up by when she god hellbent on vengeance oops. Lost her closeness with a bunch of her childhood friends during that time. Still a bit all over the place but has found she enjoys administrative work.

Noé

Local theatre kid, and a freelance artist. Which art? That changes with the wind. He has trouble committing to things but that's because so many things in this world are interesting!

Sam

Bit softie with abandonment issues. Loves his family and LARPing and his asshole horse named Sir Samuel II. Works on his farm full time but tries making as much time for his friends and family as possible. Childhood friends with Tumble.

Tumbleweed

A gentle giant who practically lives in the water. Life motto: motto: can't be disappointed by life if you don't expect anything! Works as a life guard and swim instructor. Childhood friends with Sam

Quentin

The swetest potato, but has trouble making friends. A casual but enthusiastic collector with a love for tinkering! Has a workshop together with Flora where he does repair work on mostly on non-mechanical things

Flora

Timid, but inquisitive and creative. Original founder of her now shared workshop which started as a mech repair shop and now entails "anything we can fix!"

Desertblaze

One of my oldest ocs! She's been (re)used a bunch and has been through some shit but always managed to keep finding beauty and love in life. She is. Very near and dear to my heart <3

Nightscar

Tbh i have not used him in a hot minute but i wanted to include him cos he's pretty u.u Also a very old oc; his og name was Schattenjäger (shadowhunter) lol. The first version of him drowned though rip.

Stormyrain

Another fave :] Spunky and full of wanderlust. Her cat version has been inactive for a long time but i love reusing iterations of her cos she is fun and i love her.

Smug little shit who is equipped with an ego that is way too big for his tiny body. Despite this he is not as bad as he seems! Mostly. He does mean well.

Styrnlona

Big arms, big heart, big hopes. Grew up in a family of fishers and hopes to win lots of money at the coliseum for her family. Turns out that is Really Hard though.

Mikh'a

Is here to avoid responsibilities out of boredom and because adventurers get paid well, right? Well wouldn'tcha know, adventuring is dangerous! oops.

Ulhar

(Ex-)entertainer, professional bullshitter, and apparently a hero now? Ugh. Really just wants to get rid of the worm in her brain, please. Would love to say she doesn't care about anything but unfortunately for her she cares A Lot.

Do you ever want to redraw/redesign your OCs again?

Yeah. Lacrima needs a redesign and her entire lore needs a revamp bc OMG I made the world-building when I was like 13 and it's soooo bad!

And the Eldritch Vers characters all still need their final designs, so far what I drew of them were more exploration drawings than anything else.
