u DO have to manually collect more ingredients but its so worth it, also u can just buy in bulk or put a commission thru the adventurer guild

tbhhh now that i say that, that could be how u end up drawing in Benny’s Adventure Team even more, bc they just take all ur quests for collecting ingredients around Mond!!

(u have to actively sneak behind their back and whisper to Katheryne that you want to put in other food quests in other guilds tho, silly kids will absolutely go running around Liyue and crazy shit just to have an adventure and do smth for you + eat ur banger food lol)

omfg the first time u barbecue smth???

the wolves, Razor, and Andrius??? Go feral.

Fischl and Benny who were already on their way to u guys to hang out again start booking it thru the woods, dodging hilichurl camps (thatve since settled down and been v peaceful to the wolves + anyone in the woods of Wolvendom after u started living there)

they knowww ur cookin smth fucking amazing

(and u even have some hilichurls and mitachurl that wander close to Andrius’ edge of the woods to shyly beg for scraps,, u give them a portion)

Razor was actually lookin at u like u hung the stars just for him when u gave him a homemade barbecue sauce to put on his food

(u acc may have done that to Teyvatians according to Andrius + the stories u overheard from Springvale…)

ok but the amount of begging u get for desserts like-

No, Razor u cannot have chocolate cake/cupcakes after every meal, u need to take care of ur teeth

(u use ur collection of mora-monster-donations for comms for more ingredients and living supplies like fabric + furniture, u cant afford dental on top of that for ur boy)

Fischl dutifully declares you the “best chef in the kingdom” and writes down all ur recipes (u have them auto-stored in ur settings obv but it cant hurt to have a physical copy, and they look so happy doing it, u don't have the heart to tell them its not necessary-)

Benny insists on both giving u extra ingredients when he takes ur commissions, and giving u handmade trinkets or weapons for the meals!!

No!! He will not take “im good” for an answer!! ur sharing ur home-cave with him, taking care of his best friend Razor, and now feeding him food better than Liuli Pavilion!!! There’s no way he can just take all that and give nothing back!!!!

and theyre not the only ones getting some food tbh

when the knights begin patroling near Wolvendom and slowly all of Mondstadt to search for their “All God”, u break up the beginnings of a fight between 2 confused knights and the now peaceful hilichurl camp at the edge of Wolvendom

U offer some snacks u were going to give Benny’s Adventure Team when they got back (u made little triangle sandwiches, rice balls, etc. finger foods, and u made plenty extra bc u kno their teenage appetites lol)

the knights and hilichurls nearly cried with appreciation, which made for a hilarious sight when the teens actually showed up lmao

ur wearing ur cloak, bc u dont wanna take on that whole “creator of worlds” title just yet, and the kids helped verify u werent anyone suspicious (Benny + Fischl keep ur godly secret, theyre the best like that 🥰)

the knights just swing by for snacks occasionally (they also either pay u in trade or with mora, theyre not bullies)

another person who gets flavored food privileges is the lazy librarian witch herself

u also sometimes pick Razor up from Lisa’s tutoring and bring “the best tea and tea snacks in the world” along with to share with Lisa and him

(she is also fully aware after awhile of meeting u of what u are, and fully believes this is why the food must be enchanted to be so good, but u dont want to be treated super reverently she can tell, so she keeps ur secret too and is just extra flirty when u come by lol)

(Razor refuses to let his pare- Lupical move out of ur cozy cave to the library, so he sometimes hauls u away when Lisa flirts too much LMAO)

…and the moment you've been waiting for.

Yes, Diluc got to try ur food that night he was searching Wolvendom for signs of the god of Teyvat

tbh Diluc was half-convinced that shit was a fever dream.

a bunch of sleepy wolves, a coffee table in the stone colosseum, a giant spirit wolf licking a big plate clean, the wolf-kid glaring at him, and you.

you with gold eyes, staring right thru his soul, like you already know everything there is to know about him, (like the way Kaeya looked at him that night),

like he doesnt even have to introduce himself

and he doesnt, u just lightly smack Razor’s hands until he gets rid of his claymore w/a pout, since Diluc had long since dropped his,

and grab a plate, piling on what leftovers u could, and turn back around from the coffee table to smile at him, patting the cushion-seat beside u for him to join

The giant glowing wolf licks his lips and watches him, the wolf-kid’s creepily watches him, and you, with eyes gold in teh light of a simmering bonfire just past the table, watch him

he just sits down and begins to eat.

its the best food he’s ever had, its his dad’s favorite dish, but not realistically, but the way memory embellishes a dish so much it can never be tasted again, except its right here. in front of him. u pour some wolfhook juice for him, and offer him a napkin to wipe his mouth and eyes

Diluc visits often after that, obviously.

u give him snacks too, and when he lets the staff try some, Adeline will not stop harassing him abt gettin ur recipes/ingredeints so u get him to pay Fischl to get a copy of their recipe book :)

including blank pages for future entries, and Fischl is literally glowing with happiness, would not stop monologuing abt ur food for weeks (send help Oz wants some peace and quiet sometimes)

Oh Diluc absolutely told the Favonius knights he found you. But he’s not saying where LMAO

Jean is actually begging him, Diluc ik u hate the knights but this is an international investigation-

this is the closest Diluc has ever gotten to getting under Venti’s skin.

when he told him this at Angel’s while bartending, he just casually ofc said this, just his smug little smirk, and the anemo god cracked a glass and everything- esp when he said he tried ur cooking??

he's gotta start looking over his shoulder in the city bc not only is Venti stalking him, the entirety of Mondstadt’s citizens are glaring at him in envy everywhere he goes LMAOO

(Venti now has a bar glass or too on his tab to pay off as well)

mans is literally paying u in weapon/artifact materials/mora to make him lunch one day and Venti nearly lunges over the counter

(Diluc purposefully ate it in front of him 💀)

like Diluc fully gives u offerings of ingredients he can pay for shipping from other countries + along with regular materials after grinding in domains

A longer, more in depth (9 parts all in one) terukane analysis, and/or everything i could find, compiled (one of my better pieces of work imo) ⭐️

Ok so it might be the fact that i ship them so i see alot of things they do as possibly romantic even when theres no romantic undertones, but the amount of times it feels like AidaIro seems to be implying that teru likes akane is getting to a suspiciously high number. Like lets look at this from a non-shipper’s pov

Item A: teru looking at akane

If you told me (with context) this was a STRAIGHT man looking at another STRAIGHT man, i’d be a little iffy (for lack of better words). Without the fact that he’s looking at akane, he genuinely looks like he’s showing something of raw emotion, unchanged by his “fake persona” but a genuine reaction. I mean i wouldn’t say “omg hes so in lovveee!!!” But considering he doesn’t really open up to like anyone, i think this is definitely something.

Item B: them going together on a romantic outing

Yes i did make it sound much more compelling then it actually is but cmon man. The school festival is considered a “romantic event” and these two spent the entire time hanging around the school together. Giving the excuse that "it's our job being in the student council" (which i guess it is) but in reality it was because no one wanted to come with them.

Which i mean they also did technically go on an actual date together

also nene looking like a hamster 😭😭

Item C: teru trusting akane more than anyone (?)

Teru likes talking to akane, trusts his intellect, and considers him someone he can rely on but doesn't like it when his whole world starts to revolve around aoi. My guy, that's jealousy.

He is shown to trust him and even show his back to him in multiple instances, knowing he wont hurt him, and he’s someone he can trust (lets ignore what happens on the literal next page)

Even literally being one of those “i fight alone” type of people but when akane’s there, he’s never fighting alone

Item D: not sure if thats whats happening here but im pretty sure he tried rizzing akane up, even going as far as to blush, all so he doesnt rule him guilty

And then got agitated when it didn’t work

Item E: akane knows teru better than we think

When kou and teru were fighting, the reason teru even walked out in the first place was because of the fireworks. And whos idea was that?

Akane’s. He knew he liked fireworks and that they’d lure him out of his room. And again, he was right

Item F: valentines day event

i dont think i even need to break this one down. Its a picture of JUST them TOGETHER posted on VALENTINES DAY. 2/14/24. THE ANNUAL HOLIDAY THAT CELEBRATES NONE OTHER THAN ROMANTIC LOVE. Also teru’s color being used as akane’s sparkles and akane’s color being used as teru’s sparkles kinda shows that AidaIro arent just showing us two characters, they’re showing us TERU and AKANE, TOGETHER. If it really could be anyone im sure they’d put them in a general setting, but with the paired colors i’d say that says otherwise.

Item G: possible fruit symbolism

first off, this picture.

First lets look at hanako’s. We can see he has two drinks, both red + with strawberries, along with a red straw. While also being pictured near other red fruits.

In this picture, nene’s flower(s) are literally strawberry flowers, putting the association between strawberries + nene out there. Meaning the strawberries in his drink could be purposeful, along with the red undertones. (red being her eye color) (sorry for quality im doin this on iPhone)

Moving on to teru’s, he has one drink, being yellow-ish with pineapple on the side, and chunks in the drink itself. Whilst his straw is orange, while also being pictured around a ginormous pinapple

And this isnt the first time we’ve seen him pictured with pineapples

This god awful picture unfortunately exists so im adding it as proof/evidence for my argument. (Oh and not to mention akane has green pants on so everyone’s a lil funky igs)

notice how as soon they got to his house his outfit changed? This is him when they got to his house (clearly in a long-sleeve shirt, not the hoodie)

this is him with akane + nene going on a date

All within the same chapter i think, but him changing outfits i feel like says something. Like we’re supposed to associate that with something other than aoi (them talking ab how to save her at his house) or his family. He even straight up left when they started talking ab how they missed aoi at the karaoke place. (More or so when he left they started talking but ykwim) Since nene is being associated with strawberries it leaves the only other person to be akane, this making sense also because of the straw color. (The straw being orange)

also the fact that fruit is literally associated with the queer community

Item H: triangles + queer symbolism

when the door opened, he was BLESSED by the sight of you. abbys babysitter. if he had maybe a drop of self respect or confidence he could ask you out, maybe even date. but lets be honest hes a complete wuss and his best excuse is “not wanting to ruin the thing they had now” which was an occasional awkward exchange of the same 5 phrases such as “hello, good morning, how are you? im ok. how are you? good, hows abby? good. good.” and then a super awkward silence. but in the recent days, when he still worked at the mall he and you actually had nice conversations that didnt feel forced. mike had hope yet.

“hey, y/n.” he said as he put his keys down, observing abby as she swung her feet in excitement from the table, watching you as you made her pancakes.

OK SO IM LATE BUT. MORE SUB3 NEWS!!!

so a few days ago, krafton (their publisher), apparently had this like presentation of their plans over the next like 2 years. and during that they talked a bit about sub 3!

and this obviously creates a LOT of questions. not to worry, though, because unknown worlds added on to this:

im honestly not surprised by this. iirc, when below zero released they said it would be a WHILE before the next game, and they only announced this back in like... january? now, the first game's release was in january, and bz was in may, so it's definitely possible early access with be in spring of 2025. those games did not have multiplayer aspections tho! its possible we'll wait until mid 2025, and full release will likely not be until 2026. but who knows? the first game took like ten to be fully finished!!

and honestly. THANK GOD. i can't imagine any subnautica game having BATTLE PASSES or LOOT BOXES. i would have just straight up ignored this game 😭

i do wonder what these updates will entail! "many years to come" is definitely something interesting to me, because other than bug fixes... i dont remember sub or bz getting many updates post full release. is this referring to bug fixes, or is it implying that it will be in a state of early access for much longer? are they going to just keep adding new things (like the building update for sub1) and taking fandom suggestions? very interested!!

maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but i actually,,,, dont want multiplayer. now i do like bz, and these games arent really intended to be horror games, but also bz is very noticeablely less scary than sub1. and some of it i think definitely has to do with all the extra characters and dialogue. its hard to feel isolated when you know al-an and marg are nearby. so im very happy that it's optional, bc i know i will probably enjoy single player a lot more enjoyable!!

so now... SPECULATION.

so the first thing im curious about that the development team didnt mention:

"uncover the mysteries on an entirely new alien planet"

apprently we are NOT returning to 4546b. which im kind of sad about!! ik the story is very obviously done there, but it feels weird that its going to be some other planet this time around. THERE WONT BE PEEPERS!!!! (well there could be but it would be weird if some other random planet had the exact same lifeforms)

now my next immediate thought is: is this a direct continuation of below zero? my opinion is: no. probably not.

mostly because it mentions up to four players, and robin and alan are, if you look very closely, only two people. now they COULD just create two new characters to go alongside them (my fanfic brain loves the au idea of marg and ryley 🥺) but im just going to assume that with the addition of a new planet, we're going to drop the old storylines. which means no more degasi, sunbeam, aurora, or ayou sisters. we might move away from architects/precursors altogether! (my basis on this is absolutely nothing and i could be wrong, this is 100% just theorizing)

also, i imagine that it would be difficult to keep the plot the exact same with two established characters and then two new ones, depending on how this multiplayer aspect works. if its another crash, it would be a lot easier to just have the extra players die/survive, then try to work in a balancing act of one guy playing al-an.

(also i like keeping the ending of bz vauge. if they show up again, they would have to mention what happened to the rest of the architects, and i think it's much more fun if thats a mystery!)

((also also, im gonna drop a bomb on u all for a second. i actually,,, dont like al-an. i have a deeper connection to probably every single other character in bz. i think they really fumbled al's character and story and he is so incredibly bland to me. it feels like they go nowhere with how he was responsible for the kharra outbreak because the game ends immediately after he confesses! it would be nice to give him another chance, sure, but i personally dread the idea of even more al-an. sorry everyone for this horrible news))

i hope they bring back some cut content creatures for this!! i noticed this new area looks VERY similar to the safe shallows, and several of the fish seem to be variations of ones we've already seen (im already seeing bladderfish and hoopfish color pallettes, and the shark resmbles some early concept art for the shadow leviathan, but with the ice worm's colors...)

been having a full on obsession with THE KAZUTORA HANEMIYA lately, he's just something ya hear me!!

Can you perhaps post your absolute best headcanons of him, could be nfsw, sfw or even both!

Oh I agree he's definitely something! Ok in no particular order here are the random Kazutora thoughts I had, quite a mixed bag here.

Has a tiger keyring on his keys which was a birthday present from Baji.

Because he was so nervous about his first kiss he accidentally missed his partners lips altogether and kissed the side of their mouth instead (this actually becomes a cute place that he kisses on purpose for a bunch of kisses after)

Whenever chifutu talks about how badly he wants a romantic partner Kazutora teases him mercilessly about it (despite secretly wanting the same thing).

Despite wanting a love interest it also scares him a bit since he's worried it'll turn out like his parents and he'll be like his dad. (Though with reassurance he'll overcome these fears)

Is a big fan of picnics, loves sitting outside in the sunshine with his friends, sharing a meal and joking around.

Love love loves weddings! He just gets so excited about them, seeing his friends, having a party and just the all around good vibes (but oh boy is his nervous at his own wedding).

Likes his hair being played with but is too nervous to ask anyone to do it (luckily baji noticed this a while ago and occasionally when they're just hanging out and lying around Baji will play with it)

Similarly he's unsure about playing with other peoples hair, he wants to try but is nervous he'll be too rough.

Got a little jealous when he first met Peh and realised he was wearing matching clothes with Pah (that's Kazutora and Pah's thing!) but quickly gets over it when all three of them start to match together.

Is incredibly proud of his bike, start a conversation with him about it and he'll happily talk and tell stories about it for hours.

Give him any kind of compliment and he'll be smiling for days.

Despises any kind of violence against women, it actually reminds him of the situation with his mother. So because of this he always steps in to beat the guys up stop the situation. (In the good timeline this actually causes problems between him and Senju since he frequently steps into her fights).

Secretly talks to the animals at the pet shop, telling them about his day.

Actually really likes flowers esp how they smell, sometimes he buys bouquets just for himself.

Has frequent nightmares both about his childhood and the mistakes he's made.

Adding on to that he gets really nervous about actually sleeping next to his partner for the first time because he doesn't want them to know about the nightmares.

Actually really enjoys watching Mitsuya sew, will sit and watch for hours. But isn't any good when he tries to copy him.

While in valhalla tries to get hanma to dress like him the same way he used to do with pah.

Actually looked up to hanma a lot, considered him a friend as well as someone he wanted to impress (poor guy was likely lonely after juvie and suddenly this friendly acting guy comes along promising to help him with everything and giving him attention that he would've missed from his old friends)

Finds fire very pretty, likes candles

Actually pretty well behaved in school and is known to be a good student by teachers (or at least was).

Is a big fan of casual touch whether its putting an arm around his friends or holding his partners hand he just loves to touch.

Cried of laughter the first time he saw Baji's school disguise in the good timeline.

Loves sharing blankets with his partner, owns a bunch of blankets just for this reason so expect to be bundled up with him on the sofa a bunch.

Exchanged letters with Draken the second time he was locked up.

Actually admires the Haitani brother's. He first heard of them after hearing they were partly the reason the 9th gen Black dragons disbanded, making Kazutora instantly thankful for these brother's despite never meeting them.

Although Baji has the reputation of being the groups impulsive one, Kazutora actually picks more fights (this one might actually be canon)

Bonds with Hakkai because of similar family issues.

Will pretend to complain but doesn't actually mind if someone wants to try painting his nails, he secretly likes the closeness and attention.

Would love to get matching couples tattoos

And finally despite having all those posters of your typical pin up girl on his teenage walls he actually isn't picky when it comes to a partner, he loves you for you, who you are.

HOT MALE NURSES ?! - seeing your boyfriend put on a sexy nurse costume for you

CHILDE was actually having fun with this. you watched in horror as he strided across the floor with a tray in hand. he held a grin as he proudly pointed out how he was gonna fix you right up

you groaned into your pillow, awakening to the bright light and with your fever reaching an all time high. it was hot inside of your room and so you swung off the covers and went to the kitchen to pick up water.

now you were someone who had an obnoxious boyfriend, frankly too obnoxious but you still love him.

"-i'm reconsidering our relationship right now childe" you stood at the doorframe not even a step outside when you see childe with him fixing his nurse hat "what the fuck are you doing here".

childe widened his eyes before jumping straight into position. he grabbed a syringe and posed on the couch. "i heard you needed a doctor" he said (with roses and a pink background appearing behind somehow).

you both stared at each other for a long time until he broke the silence by answering your question. "ok fine- you should really stop leaving the key in the potted plants outside."

"so you broke in?"

"you were sick!"

you pinched your nosebridge and just gave up on the topic while childe kept pestering you about your needs.

"do you need anything to eat? i can get you ice with that water!" he constsntly loomed over your shoulder until you asked for something and that was only until hours later.

"childe can you get out of my housr"

"... no"

you were not gonna lie when you said KAEYA had made your face even hotter. it seems as though he deliberately unbottoned the top part of the nurse uniform, and put on the fishnet stockings.

"KAEYA?!" you shouted with your jaw dropping. it was morning and the first thing you wake up was to kaeya ginormous boobs in your face.

"oh~ are you finally awake" kaeya had given his girl crushing eye smiles and you just kept your jaw open.

the blue haired man smiled while he poured your medicine into a small cup holding a glass of water. "open up" kaeya asked while you complied.

perhaps its the fact that his outfit had overloaded your brain adding ontop of his incredibly good looks or it mightve been the fact you were sick and therefore incapable of thinking clearly but you did it anyways.

not even the bitter taste of medicine pulled you out of your trance. kaeya continued to treat you. he even sung you a lullaby and tucked you into sleep.

he pulled up right next to you, of course he noticed how your face got hotter every time he touched you of course he would. but it was fun teasing you.

"your expressions are so cute"

you did not how anybody had convinced SCARAMOUCHE of all people to do this. perhaps it was nahida or perhaps it was his own accord (.00001% possibility) but you werent gonna complain especially not when he ended up being so fun to tease.

"STOP TAKING PHOTOS OF ME!" your boyfriend had loudly shouted at you. he was currently washing your dishes while you laid on your couch taking photos of him. "but you look so good in that!"

"yeah i know..." he mumbled under his breath, you didn't hear exactly what he said and didnt care. when you were finally done taking photos you zoomed in on them.

"maybe i should get sick more often if you do this for me!" you giggled. you kept looking at the photos until the phone was swiped out of your hands.

"wh- hey!" you stared at scaramouche who had held your phone in his hand and placed it in a cupboard "i needed that!"

scaramouche stuck his tongue to you and blew a raspberry. "bleh! deal with it! you just wanted to take more photos of me" he crossed his arms.

"yeah i needed that. give me my phone back!"

"get rid of this fever and then you get it back" scaramouche promptly stated. picking up all the trash you had left around while you slumped over your couch.

"i hate you!"

"no you dont"

scaramouche might be outta character but uh anyways
