MY GRANNY SQUARE CARDIGAN IS DONE!!!

idk how many squares! each one took a good 20-30 min plus sewing plus crocheting panels together.. it was a long project.. I started about a year ago doing it on and off and it was mostly basically done in summer. I was just so unhappy with it (and too hot to wear) that I didn't break it out until now. but! for my first big wearable project I'm pretty proud of myself and I'm not going nitpick myself to death about it!!! plus an older lady stopped me in walmart to compliment how beautiful it was so thats all the validation i need!!

saw this mushroom family on my way home from uni. it had a Bunch of cool bugs around it but all were too tiny to capture them on camera. i still appreciate them

oh neat :-o are they honey fungus? i cant quite tell from th photo. .but maybe. i have been visiting grandparents this weekend and granny wanted to show me fungi she'd seen in the woods and we saw them (like purple jellydisc n stuff) but also, and i can post photos, they had saffron milkcaps growing all over their garden! and we found a stinkhorn patches throughout the small pine wood in various stages of growth, including full grown and floppy and phallic-looking (granny was unimpressed and said they needed viagra lol).. also smelly. saw conifer tufts and cup lichen (cladonia) and etc etc too. the moss was all very happy and wet after the dry summer.. it was rain-foresty. nice to see the peat bogs n stuff even tho its sad one of the pine plantations got cut down
