Like she doesn't want him to see the actually truth, that the Circus did horrible things? While she knew what happened, why they died, why the Phantomhive servants killed them. While we, as the Reader, and Finnian can't do anything. Especially since Finnian probably don't knew fully what happend. We all can just wait, and see what Snake is going to do, how he will decide...

At 0:36 for people that didn't notice behind Ciel, it's the Headmaster/ Undertaker.

9. At time stamp 1:11 we see Ciel... OR IS IT. That is in fact REAL CIEL.

It speaks for itself. ITS THE REAL CIEL AND NEXT TO HIM IS NOT SEBASTIAN BUT UNDERTAKER IN HIS CLOAK.

It’s so odd watching An/Madam Red reminisce over Ciel as a child (alongside Lizzie) when you know with I guess foresight, or is it hindsight, that that’s actually most likely r!Ciel and o!Ciel is stuck indoors with Tanaka crying as he looks longingly out of the window at everyone hugging and playing, only to then sadly turn to his plate of birthday cake and start singing happy birthday to himself.

it was supposed to be straightforward

his parents’ killers had been slaughtered, their efforts made in vain, and it was time for him to pay his dues

you had been deprived of his soul — of fulfilment — for over a decade (far longer than any other contract you’d ever taken) and you could finally take it on the agreed upon terms

you were already salivating at the smell, and now you were so close — holding his frail human body in your arms as he stiffly thanks you for being such a loyal butler (a good man, for a demon, he’d said) before accepting his fate with closed eyes and a relaxed posture

he’d known what was coming and he could finally let go peacefully and on his terms

and then it all went wrong

another demon (a scent you almost recognised but not soon enough), a battle and him left in the aftermath

not quite a husk but far from alive

only a fraction of his soul remaining after that arachnid bastard stole it from under your nose (how could you have been so blind?)

you’d lost yourself to the moment, to saying your goodbyes to the master you’d grown attached to and you’d lost him

damn these attachments, these weaknesses

but he wasn’t dead yet, just in such agonising pain that he could do nothing but gasp and cough up the only black remnants of the shadow that had engulfed him moments earlier

and you’re not doing too well yourself, body wavering in and out of your chosen form and covered in deep bruises and bleeding cuts that sent smudges of dark sludge dripping to the floor and staining the carpet of his bedroom (what a shame, you’d only just cleaned it that morning)

he’s so fragile, so small, and even though he’d long since grown into the visage of his father, as you held him in your arms he felt so small — like the child you’d first met in that dank cave

and you admit to yourself then, quietly, and in a tongue that was long dead to man, that you’d loved him — damn it you’d adored your master and now you’d failed him

but you could offer him one last kindness, one last show of your devotion to his broken mortal form

so with tears in your eyes that you didn’t even know you could shed, you leaned down and gently pressed your lips to his — engulfing him with your first and last kiss and taking what remained of his soul with you

I don't understand how people can actually ship Ciel and Sebastian. Not in a hundred years would Ciel ever be okay with being like that with Sebastian. You'd have to completely ignore Ciel's backstory, character, and canon feelings towards Sebastian.

I know what O! Ciel did is not right, stealing his brother's identity , but he is not the only one to blame either. Madam Red and Elizabeth thought in advance that this was the real Ciel, forgetting that he had a twin brother. Instead of asking, they already knew he was the real Ciel. Neither of them took at first that it could be the second younger twin. The only one who knew about it was Tanaka, and he was silent until the real twin appeared.

No, I am not making excuses O! Ciel. I mean, it was easier for him to lie and impersonate his older brother.

Elizabeth had doubts, but she preferred to lie to herself and allow herself to be lied to, so she has the right to be felt deceived, but it is also part of her guilt, because even though she knew that something was wrong, she preferred not to ask and live in a delusion (as she herself said and for I liked her more)
