There have been several "download everything you can because it's so getting deleted" posts wrt to RT being shut down next month so I would like to draw your attention to the Archive of Pimps. People have been working very hard to archive the entire Rooster Teeth catalogue (including First content) and while most of it has been backed up the to Internet Archive they could use help with organizing it. Instead of a bunch of people individually downloading different videos sporadically to their own machines, check to see if the videos you want are already on the archive and you can download them from there and if you might like to help organize.

The Republicans aren't interested in policy, they are interested in coming for YOU, personally. I am saying this bc I think there are a lot of eligible, youger voters who maybe think that current things don't have anything to do with them..... It does.

I know this is a generalisation but the Beatles fandom is like, weirdly bad at reading The Beatles' personalities I think? It's almost like a game of telephone. When Get Back first came out people's natural instinct was to sympathise with George but then certain narratives take hold - i.e. George is whiny and simply hates Paul with every fiber of his being. That becomes the version of events even though when you actually watch the footage it's way more complicated. Not to mention the editing and everything we don't see! Never seen a fandom so arrogant about their knowledge yet so ignorant and lacking in perception. I bet their next bit of analysis will be about how much George hated Paul during anthology because he didn't smile when he looked at him.

I agree, especially in George's case I think. I mean it's possible that I overempathize with him as someone who also has a resting bitch face and who has been called "blunt" in multiple job reviews, even though I was never being anything but civil and totally normal in my own eyes. I dunno, I think it's so weird how people see George as totally negative in Twickenham. He's so much more positive to me than these people see him, at least at first. Like how he said on day 2 something like "doing it like this is much better really, where you've got to do it live and you can't get out of it" and how he was pitching ideas for the show, doing oldies like every little thing and playing in a small bar.

On a lark I decided to look up the cost of ear defenders and personalized ones in particular and y'all don't know. I can't find personalized ear defenders. They're not common.

Our man John not only got Sherlock a new pair of ear defenders but he took the time, effort, and money to get him something that by all accounts you have to personally request some kind soul on etsy to do you as a favor.

Like it was actually a super thoughtful and well planned gift on several levels.
