while working on reqs. here’s a little brainrot bubble. I think it’s be funny if instead of us getting Isekai’d the twenty two boys at entrance ceremony find themselves Isekai’d into your “mysterious” house that you inherited from a grandparent after you touch a mirror that had a cloth covering. Imagine teaching them about technology and try to convince these people to stay sane while in each other’s faces for almost twenty four hours a day, especially since some of them just met and got sorted into dorms. I just had the thought of do these men have airplanes in their world? and it kind of evolved to this.

Like Diasomnia on edge at first with Silver and Sebek trying to guard Malleus as Lilia listens to you and your explanation deeming you no threat. Malleus is simply happy he was invited or included with everyone when they were teleported. In Savanaclaw they all still have their beastmen features so you’re pleading with this stranger to not leave and go outside and cause trouble and this lion man is like… if you insist, while being smug. Totally acts like he is pitiful if you ask for help because he is stuck indoors. Floyd is having the time of his life, he will gnaw on furniture, as Jade is a bit more grounded but follow’s Azul’s lead as he tries to convince you to turn your house into a business as you deny.

Ignihyde has Idia and his brother and you’re thinking what a cute robot before he shoots a laser at a bug and you think that is enough for today. You eventually let all the boys live in your grandpa’s old home since it were rather large.. and magic is convenient. They can easily clean up the place and some are eager to learn about your world. You went from a normal life alone to living a life with a whole lot of boys.

Some of them do chores, like Trey, Jade, Jamil, who are the main chefs, while others such as Ruggie and Rook handle the laundry. Azul, Jade and Floyd handle your budgeting and monthly finances. You are not sure how but the money they give as “rent” increases per month. Vil and Idia have picked up youtube and streaming respectively, Idia being a vtuber and Vil having a channel that does a variety of content. Both are surprisingly popular. Vil also helps you renovate the interior design and Idia + Ortho handle all the machines and wifi. Some do odd jobs on occasion around the place like Ace, Epel, Lilia, some do hard lifting and collecting firewood like Jack and Sebek. Others such as Riddle and Cater can set the table, sweep up and check in on you. Some are freeloaders such as Leona, Malleus, and Kalim.

You figured things would be dysfunctional at first since your newfound boys weren’t allowed outside of your house, in fact are physically incapable of leaving your property, but they all managed to fit right in snuggly. Honestly, you couldn’t imagine just how hard life would be without them. You start working from home as your grandpa’s business is also passed down to you, even though you are a grossly underqualified child- claiming to be told old to keep up as he leaves to traveling the world after meeting the boys once. He doesn’t freak out and just go “:P forgot to tell you.”

You find their magic interesting. You also find out your grandpa has a lot of secrets. He can’t return them (much to their disappoint but later they could not care less they won’t return) but he can at least help out with some ancient books passed down about the great seven themselves, helping the Octatrio stay in human form. You also find some of them demanding, Floyd and Kalim almost always clinging to your arms as you try to work.

Sometimes you wake up to arguments, a chair may be flying, literally. Another time you awoke to a crying grey cat with ears of fire, trying to scratch at you. Hearing your scream Riddle and Azul came to your rescue, but you quickly told them not to be mean to a kitty, keeping him and naming him Grim.. seems like your home has gotten a new member, again.

Idia seems much more willing to leave his room when you mention getting a cat. Ace looks slight annoyed that you get to keep a fire producing cat but he could not keep a bear that Rook found? You were completely unfair. Meanwhile Riddle is ready to collar the cat for existing because he found a tart of his being eaten by the cat. You barely contained his rage, everyone lived another day.

Overall a chaotic household you now have.

a fun concept to play with? I’m a fan of the “inherits some mysterious magic object” trope and wanted to toy around with it a bit. i also had thoughts like my yuu would 100% be nicer to them than they are to us and give them a place to actually stay than kicking them to the curb like a certain Ramshackle building.

I’m genderfluid and intersex and im sick with a fever and have no filter and i need to know this shit because i have a fucked up relationship with sex and gender and if im feeling more adjacent to a specific binary gender (i almost never experience full binary male or female gender for some reason) then DOES THAT MAKE ME TRANSMASC/TRANSFEM (depending on the specific gender) or what does this do??

I wonder how v1 will die

I wonder how it will be framed. Will it kill the last thing, watch Gabriel's life leave him, and will we go through a level empty of blood? Will it starve? Controls slowed, until it goes unresponsive, having finally exhausted hell's fuel?

Will it freeze to death? I've seen a couple others explore this, it freezing alone or after battle in the ninth layer of hell. Will it never slaughter all, left walking across a frozen lake, frost creeping along its frame? Will it die cold and alone or will Gabriel witness it? Will we see Gabriel die or will he, too, go unseen and unmourned?

Mercurii were real!?!

So this started of fun but then I got in way to deep - I was not prepared... Apparently the Mercurii were a real occult group (or at the very least an occult group rumoured to exist) around the 1820s in the UK AND look who is first recorded to have mentioned it !

I mean that could be coincidence - however...

We know that Rafe owns an art studio and that he specialises in painting Valkyries - maybe that's because he has been painting them since before they were lost...

I love Tommy Shaw for many reasons and they've definitely changed over the years.

When I was younger, I definitely liked him primarily for his looks, ngl. He's a very attractive man and I still think this. However, now I tend to focus more on his songwriting, his character, his determination, humor, and kindness. In the few, brief interactions I've had with him and the many I've seen and heard about online, he is just such a genuine gentleman. He is a huge star and yet he's still so personable and relatable. And he's a huge inspiration for me as a person and as a musician.

Honestly, I could go on for hours.

Im so excited to see what kinda cat Floyd has. In my heart i want it to be just as insane as him. But also I want him to have a cat he can just swing around in his arms.

Floyd’s cat occupies my mind rent free! <3 he has a little sphinx cat and he adores how “weird” his cat is (his words). he started by making fun of this different looking hairless cat and eventually fell in love with the kitty, because the cat has the audacity to be hairless and exist in cute clothes!! Prune gets to wear all the clothes and is bathed regularly by Floyd who you have to remind to not take on eel form and yo get out your bathtub.

I will stand by this, no matter what anyone believe… floyd and jade absolutely love “different” animals, and floyd would adore a hairless breed. he thinks they’re such weird funky little guys and would ABSOLUTELY bully the cat. the cat has no clue what he’s saying but he’s bullying a cat and then bites the ankle of another student who dares say the same, like one of those only i bully you type. o(｀ω´ )o

he eventually learns from you more about the breed, and Prune is his cat now. he is surprisingly gentle at bathing the cat, the breed needing frequent washes, and despite his own body temperature being cooler than most he likes to dress Prune up in outfits and hold her!! his kitty is relatively relaxed and does allow arm swinging and Floyd to just have a mood swing and cuddle, very soothing and calm presence in her sweater. however other times she gets kitty zoomies and floyd gets so excited and matches her mood!! fair warning: run. furniture may be demolished. ∑(ﾟДﾟ)

honestly could ramble for ages.. about my own cat dynamics i haven’t written and adore. especially want to write a longer fic style maybe in august about the first years working at the cat cafe! would anyone be interested? ace, deuce, jack, epel, ortho, sebek, grim :)) centric?

Frodo finds great peace in watching the tides rise and fall throughout each day. He attends all the ranger programs on birds and seashells and fills pages with sketches and poetry.

Sam meticulously selects postcards in the gift shop for each of his friends and spends a whole morning writing and addressing them. He also buys Junior Ranger hats for his kids and a variety of Appalachian jams for Rosie.

Park rangers launch a Missing Person search for Aragorn when they realize his car's been parked at Avalanche Creek for three days. The search runs for almost a week before he comes strolling out the opposite side of the park, supporting one of the SAR techs who twisted an ankle during the search.

Legolas is first drawn to Olympic for the towering, mossy temperate rainforests, but the ground goes out from under him when he steps onto Second Beach for the first time. He spends an entire day watching the light and tides shift on the sea stacks, and he leaves feeling both full and hollow, like a bell that's just been rung.

Mammoth is only Gimli's first stop on a cavern tour, followed by Jewel and Wind Caves and Carlsbad Caverns. Wind Cave is his favorite for the unusual formations. He makes an obnoxious tween boy cry in Carlsbad for breaking off a speleothem.

Boromir is on a tour of military parks. He asks so many questions to the intern working the info station at Fort Sumter the kid has to go find the park historian. His favorite site is Vicksburg because that place was buckwild, though he silently judges one of the reenactors for his clumsy handling of a black powder rifle.

Merry also makes stops in Jurassic and Dinosaur National Monuments. He watches every park video, takes selfies in front of all the fossil exhibits, and earns his Junior Ranger badge at each one. He buys a keychain for Pippin.

Pippin actually gets four citations, mostly for trying to stick his hands in mud pots. He doesn't mean anything by it---he's just so delighted and curious about the bizarre landscape. He winds up with several thermal burns and dumps a king's ransom in the donation box on his last day.

Gandalf gets dinged by rangers for not paying the $5 fee for Trunk Bay, but he acts senile until they eventually decide to drop it. He gets postcards from everyone and responds to none of them.

Faramir and Eowyn are traveling together and do many of the same hikes and rides, but they do have some different preferences off-trail. Eowyn drags Faramir to a rodeo and the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson Hole, and he goads her into Ranger Shelton Johnson's living history programs on the Buffalo Soldiers in Yosemite.

Eomer is bike-packing on his sport cruiser motorcycle. He goes to Roosevelt south unit for the wild horse herds but ends up spending half a day watching a prairie dog town. He takes 400 photos of them, mostly blurry, and texts them to Eowyn.

The expression of wonder doesn't fade, just changes a little as he grins. He nods at her, then turns and starts pacing the aisle to inspect his options.

She settles in to wait, leaning forward to rest her forearms on the cart handle and bringing one foot up to rest on the lower rack.

The kid could keep her here until closing time trying to decide and she wouldn't be able to muster even a mildly chiding tone or facial expression.

She can finally afford to buy him something outside of the day-to-day necessities without having to worry about making rent or getting the power shut off on them, and she's going to do so.

Anything to see that smile on her baby brother's face.

hi! could you inform me on what a bi lesbian is? don’t mean to come off as rude and you’re not obligated to explain if you want to, but if you could redirect me to some resourced pls do, i’m curious and have seen this term one or two times before! i tried looking but almost everything ive seen either has a confusing definition or is negative, and i’d like to educate myself if possible. ty! :D

hi, tysm for the ask! while im definitely not the guy to speak for all mspec lesbians, i can definitely try my best to help you :]

mspec lesbians are when a person identifies as a lesbian while simultaneously being attracted to other genders, hence the "multi spectrum" (mspec) part of the term. i myself am a bi lesbian, so im just going to use that as an example, but there are also pan lesbians, omni lesbians, it goes on. (there are also mspec gays, but people dont seem too pressed about them, and im not gay, so i wont speak on them.)

there are a lot of reasons someone could identify as a bi lesbian, like if theyre romantically a lesbian while being bi*sexual*, or a bi person with a preference towards women. personally, while i do think lesbianism inherently includes nonbinary people (speaking *as* a nonbinary lesbian), my attraction to nbs is separate enough to warrant the label for both mine and other nbs' comfort. (also i think some guys are attractive lol). but it does vary from person to person!

as for the history, bi people using lesbian as an umbrella term (much like, for example, a bi guy calling themself gay) since *at least* the 70s.

and as for resources, heres a really helpful carrd i found, as well as just going through the 'mspec lesbian' tag on tumblr has quite a few good posts about the historical usage of the label!

also um. sorry for giving you an entire essay (hyperbole) lol, queer identities and history are a pretty big interest of mine XP
