not to be all r/thanksimcured on main because it's probably just the bitterness and Fatigue talking etc etc but i haaate when people say stuff like "maybe you should stop overthinking this". i mean woah why did i never think of that. currently suffering from some kind of Thinking Too Much disease and i never even considered that possibility thank you so much. yeah i have been spiraling at the slightest thing lately but you're right i could just stop doing that forever :o

#i know this is kind of in bad faith people usually mean well when they say things like that #and to some extent it's not. wrong. part of the problem IS the overthinking and i SHOULD work on that #but sadly it's not as easy as just turning your brain off! (which is something you can do kinda but um. it's not the healthiest option) #it's a lot of work to get out of the mental patterns that you have gone through so much- #-that you're basically buried in it at this point and that is. work that i'm currently too tired to do ✨ #anyway. baby steps or something but tonight those steps are complaining. and going to sleep at 9pm probably

I saw someone put that "if you hate yourself shower, if you feel like you hate everyone, eat" advice in r/thanksimcured. You guys do know that taking care of yourself can actually improve your mental health right?

Seeing Connor through Hank Anderson’s eyes sure was a challenge for his assembled victims. Their heads told them that of course Connor was simply like them, and that he’d never gotten a chance. But their hearts wanted to disagree, and paint Connor in the worst colors, because hurt, fear and anger required time to heal.

Daniel: “So what happened to Connor after he had stopped the revolution? Somehow I doubt CyberLife scrapped him. The chassis may be dirt cheap, but the development costs must have been immense.”

Hank: “Deactivated and put up for display in their internal museum in CyberLife Tower.”

Daniel: “Ah, good! Just buy him, then. For the right price CyberLife will part with Connor. That’s just how corps work.”

Hank: “That right price is much more than you six plus my life savings are worth together.”

Daniel: “Well, get a second job, then! Spend less! There’s money to made everywhere, really no excuse anymore to be poor in our time and day! In fact, if everyone saved up just 28 dollars every day instead of casually squandering them, they’d be able to buy a house in...”

Hank Anderson remembered how shocked everyone had been in August, after this particular android had severly wounded three officers, very nearly killing them. But somehow having to listen to Daniel parrot a rhetoric fit for posting on r/ThanksImCured was even scarier.

Hank: “Thank you, Daniel. I’ll try Yoga.”

A single sim starting with nothing can be a Millionaire in less than a month in Sims 4. Obviously that’s not the route I’ll be going in this save.
