I am a one-hit wonder, hear me cash in.
I don’t know how but somebody is going to find a way to use this as a sex toy.

ok but what if i combined a reddie college au with a coffee shop au with an eddie vampire au,,,,
richie works at a campus coffee shop, and this coffee shop is actually open 24/7 which is really helpful to all the college students needing caffeine and a comfy place to study for pulling all-nighters. richie works the night shift, and he knows all of the regulars who come in between midnight and 5 am.... until a new person starts coming to the cafe.
“beautiful” would be an understatement if richie tried to describe this guy. the first time he came in and ordered, richie made a complete fool out of himself because he was so star struck by this man so gorgeous that he couldn’t possibly be real. he also... doesn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the coffee shop crowd. everyone that richie usually sees during his shift are sleep-deprived college students, with dark circles under their eyes from their 4th late night in a row and wearing their pyjamas. but this guy (eddie, richie learns that his name is eddie one day when he finally worked up the nerve to ask him) seems... different. he’s definitely a college student, he looks around the same age as richie, and he’s always visiting the coffee shop to sit in the corner booth and study, but he never seems to be tired. he’s always awake, alert, even at 3 in the morning. richie just assumes eddie is a pretty big night owl, and he quickly forgets about that when he eddie’s good looks or his sense of humour or anything and everything else about him fills richie’s mind and makes him fall quickly down the rabbit hole of love and intensifies his lil crush every time eddie comes to the cafe and asks with a smile how richie’s night is going.
it’s not easy being a college student. but it’s even harder when you’re a vampire, eddie quickly learns midway through his first semester. he manages, though- thank god for night classes and the campus hospital always being stocked full with blood donations that he can swipe if he’s fast and quiet enough. studying’s still a real challenge though, so one day he decides to try out what regular people do, and go to a coffee shop. he’s relieved when he finds one that’s actually open during the hours when he can actually leave his apartment...... but then comes along the incredibly cute barista who works at that coffee shop (richie, eddie saw that his name was from the tag he wore on his shirt, decorated with stickers), and then suddenly eddie isn’t going to the coffee shop every night anymore to study, but rather as an excuse to see his coffee-shop-crush. eddie knows that it’s pointless to have a crush on a human- he knows that no person would ever want to be with him if they knew the truth, and that does break his non-beating heart, especially when richie gives him that smile and when richie draws a smiley face on his cup and when richie joins him at his table to talk. but eddie tries not to think about it. instead he just tries to enjoy those moments for as long as he can, until the sun starts to rise.

People talk about how much different (and better) Eddie is in the book compared to his film interpretation but we don't talk enough (for me lol) about how different and better Richie is too. This not only makes him a far more likeable and multi-dimensional character but makes the Reddie mechanic work so much better. Like, I don't know how to tell you that your friends all thinking you're annoying because you won't quite being mean and making inappropriate jokes isn't funny and in real life would not make good friendships. I know this might feel like an attack for anyone who likes the film version and I'm not getting at you, I'm really not, but I need you to understand that you were robbed of a proper character for the sake of bad humour (well, humour is subjective I guess) and you deserve better written characters who don't portray negative characteristics and unhealthy behaviours presented as fine.*
"Actually book Richie is just as bad or worse than film Richie because of his racist voice-" Book Richie was a dumb kid who imitated the comedians of the day who yes, were racist and then went on to be a leftist protestor and activist as a college student and a better adult.
Film Richie was a kid whose entire joke repertoire involved making fun of various aspects of his friends even when they didn't think it was funny, slut shaming and sexual jokes and this continued into adulthood because 'funny'.
Book Richie's silly 'yowza yowza yowza!' imitation, dumb and terrible (as a child) voices especially when he's nervous or scared, 'spageddie' and other cute nicknames and genuine unhinged silliness that his friends loved and were charmed by, his obvious love and courage towards protecting his friends, his gentleness when gentleness was needed and the 'beep beep Richie' that they ACTUALLY used to help him know when he'd gone too far will always outweigh and be far cuter than whatever poor excuse for comedy the writers wrote in for Richie in the film and shoehorning in 'beep beep Richie' but not really because giving the Losers proper bonding points and reasons to be friends was too hard. Like y'all really think "I knew you were cute from the moment I met you" is in the same category as a 'your mom' joke? I'm biting you
*By the way I enjoy sharing the fandom with everyone. The book is very big and if you only know slices of it and bits of the character from people talking about it and posting quotes that's 100% fine. If you only know the film version...I'm so sorry.

should I first watch It or Fear Street?
FEAR STREET I LOVE IT SM I love angsty lesbians
but like if you’re not good with horror movies then I’d say it
it’s not too scary plus the humour cancels it out there’s like 1-3 actually “scary” scenes
fear street is terrifying angsty but also like.. lesbians
plus like if you watch fear street you see maya hawke being hot for like two minutes before she gets brutally murdered
but alsoooooo it has a bunch of fucking losers and the humour I am DEAD also reddie !!!! and Stanley <333333 I love him so much you have no idea and bev <3 and RICHIE I FUCKING LOVE HATE HIM also watch the second chapter too then bc that’s what started by bill hader hyperfixation which made me watch 30 seasons of Snl I recommend
okay so if you’re new to watch horror I say it and it 2 but if not watch fear street first bc lesbians <3 I need to finish the trilogy omg

27. LATVIA Citi Zeni - “Eat your salad” 32nd place
youtube
Decade ranking: 55/79 [Above Tix, below Blind Channel]
‘INSTEAD OF MEAT, I EAT VEGGIES AND.’
Tumblr media
Has there ever been an opening line more indicative of an act’s overal journey? There probably has been, but not in this year. Citi Zeni attempt to provoke via ready-made sexual innuendo’s and are (cock)blocked before they can, resort to more increasedly infantile tricks, rinse & repeat.
Now you *would* expect me to appreciate Citi Zeni just for their misfortune ‘cause boy did RAI *and* the EBU screw them over, but I only sort of do! As the old adage goes, any gimmick or joke that goes for an immediate laugh runs the risk of turning annoying with age and exposure. This is one such case, so here we are.
Tumblr media
Of course, at Supernova, Citi Zeni were the immediate stand-out and I really liked them. If one were to go for a gimmick entry other than “Rich Itch”, then sure, pick the one where a bunch of frat douches talk graphically about cunnilingus and flex about their dick size using vegan metaphors to a bouncy tune. It’s a bit babby’s first Locker Room Talk, but the humour and fun couldn’t be denied!
However, after Citi Zeni won Supernova I quickly realized  they are stylized pick-up artists performing a Bruno-style Comedy Funk track and there’s simply no recovering from that image. Ew, ew, motherfucking EW!!!!
Tumblr media
FORTUNATELY, The EBU decided to be prudes on a whim and played their “UM THIS IS A FAMILY SHOW” card. Citi Zeni were forced to sanitize themselves and pull the sort of juvenile Pollapönk-esque crap only a pre-teen would love. So they did some silly dances and pulled some stupid faces to sell some semblance of a Fun Factor, and that just didn’t work for me. Like, I could catalogue and gif it, but it was so basic it bored me instead.
Tumblr media
On the plus side, the shift in tone from ‘Girls Gone Wild crew members on the prowl at Mardi Gras’ to ‘plonkers in coloursuits spasming around aimlessly’  also made Citi Zeni less competent and more annoying. Thus, they were reduced to non-qualifier fodder (yes below ReDDI who were arguably the deadest of all semifinalists!) as opposed to the Ickolas-style overbearing MENACE they could have been. Now that they haven’t robbed anyone at the contest, I can be at peace with their being. ☯ This year may not have been great, but at least it got most of its results right.
THE RANKING:
Tumblr media
27. LATVIA - Citi Zeni - “Eat your salad” 28. DENMARK - ReDDI - “The show” 29. BULGARIA - Intelligent Music Project - “Intention” 30. GREECE - Amanda Tenjford - “Die together” 31. POLAND - Ochman - “River” 32. MONTENEGRO - Vladana - “Breathe” 33. FINLAND - The Rasmus - "Jezebel" 34. BELGIUM - Jérémie Makiese - “Miss you” 35. NORWAY - Subwoolfer - “Give that wolf a banana” 36. AUSTRALIA - Sheldon Riley - “Not the same” 37. SWITZERLAND - Marius Bear - “Boys do cry” 38. AZERBAIJAN - Nadir Rustamli - “Fade to black” 39. ITALY - Mahmood & Blanco - “Brividi” 40. ISRAEL - Michael Ben David - “I.M”

Alrighty then. So... 2, 5, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 21, 26, 30 and 39 for Meme for Shippers. A lot of questions I know (but you better answer them! jk). You know I <3 you.
Wow you sure didn't let me get away easy with this, huh? Sorry it took me FOREVER to answer these, but then again, you probably knew it would anyway. 😂
Under a readmore because I don't want to flood anyone's dash, lol.
2. Talk about three of the most important ships throughout your life. Wow, ok, this... is going to be really difficult actually. Because as you well know, I have been into fandoms and shipping for more than half of my life and as such I have SO MANY ships. Oh man...
But... 3 most important ones. Throughout my life. Hmm.
I think since I can interpret this question however I like... I will just go with 3 ships that may not all be very important to me anymore (or I don't really even ship them at all these days), but which have played a very big role to me for different reasons in the past. I also want to say to anyone reading this post that YES, I know the first one of these ships is considered extra problematic but idgaf, I liked what I liked and if you want to cancel me or whatever now, be my guest I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ok here goes:
1) Snarry (or Snape/Harry) from Harry Potter Yes, really. When I think back, I think this is probably my longest lasting hyperfixation ever, something that I started, at first jokingly, shipping way before the 7th HP book was ever even published, so I must've been like 16 or so. I think the amount of Snarry fanfics that I read was simply crazy. I even wrote some very bad, very questionable Snarry ff myself. I never published any, thank god, lol, because like I said it was bad, but it was the first time I ever finished writing a fanfic of my own (I remember it was very long too... probably at least 30k or whatever) and this was my number one hyperfixation for years and years. I was under a lot of dress during those times and I did have several other fandoms alongside this one, but this was where I always felt most at home and where I "went" most often to escape the real world. This ship and these characters, especially together, just talked to me in such a real way.
2) Holmes/Watson I can't remember how old exactly I was when I read my first Sherlock Holmes stories and started shipping them in earnest. But I can't have been much older than 20, I think. Back then I was also struggling badly with my sexuality and my sexuality felt like one of the biggest defining things about me because I felt like everyone around me were settling down or at least dating non-stop and I had zero interest in any of that and it made me feel bad and like an outsider. Then I discovered asexuality and while i I didn't know if I was really ace myself, along those times I also started reading more Holmes/Watson fics and then BBC Sherlock happened and suddenly there was a lot more ff where people were writing about ace!Sherlock and I don't know... I felt comforted? Once again, fanfiction helped me cope with difficult times in my life.
3) Reddie from IT (miniseries) Honestly, THE ship for me because in a fucked up way I can relate to both Richie and Eddie a lot (although let's face it I think I'm way more like Richie - masking insecurities with humour is like, my brand, and all that) and idk, even just thinking about these two disaster men makes me feel better. It's really a comfort ship for me, and a very wholesome ship as well. I don't very often go for the friends to lovers trope at all, I just feel like enemies to lovers is a lot more fun but in their case I just... don't need that aspect at all, for some reason? They are similar but so different, they compliment each other perfectly, they are fucked up and in need of therapy. I want to put them in situations and see them mutually pine for each other like the big idiots that they are and then kiss and make it all better.
Also, I've published 8 fics in total of these two and I plan on publishing at least one more (once I finish that goddamn WIP almost one year in the making) and I have ideas for at least one more fic that's gonna be multichaptered and told from the POV of both of them. These fictional guys made me create and participate in a fandom in a way I never have before.
5. Do you have any poly ships? I do actually! :D I don't have that many, and the ones I have also always include a pair of people that I also ship just the two of them together as well, and which is usually my "main ship", but yeah, there are some.
There's the Triumvirate from Star Trek aka Kirk/Spock/McCoy (or McSpirk). Obviously my OTP in Star Trek fandom is Spirk... but I also ship just Kirk and McCoy together, as well as just Spock and McCoy. And then all three of them together, lol.
Talking about another big scifi franchise, Star Wars... I don't ship Luke and Leia together, but I do think they can both definitely date Han at the same time. 😏 But again, I also ship Han with both Leia and Luke separately as well.
I know I haven't really talked about Dragon Age here in a long while, but from Dragon Age 2 I have OT3 which is Hawke/Anders/Fenris. But once again I also ship all three of these characters separately with each other as well because that's how I roll. (I also have another poly!ship from the Inquisition but that actually includes my OC Inquisitor as one of the characters I ship so I won't be going into that)
When I was really into Queen a couple years back I had my certain favourite ships obviously... but I also read many amazing OT4 fics of the whole gang together. 😂
And now that I've really been into Cobra Kai and Lawrusso lately... Well, I also lowkey ship Daniel/Johnny/Amanda. I really enjoy this headcanon of Johnny ending up in bed with the LaRussos one time and then one time becomes two becomes three and he's just torn because he actually has feelings for them but also surely this wealthy, happily married couple is just enjoying having him as their boytoy and nothing else? and then he gets proved wrong I've read some good fics about these three with variations of this headcanon, but I would read a lot more - if there were any! 👀
8. Have you ever shipped yourself with a character? Honestly? No. I guess it's the aro in me, because even when I really like a character and find them cute or hot or whatever, I still never have any desire to get myself involved in any way, not really. I want to appreciate from afar, not get myself involved in this mess. 😂
10. Do you ship any characters that have never met? Way back in time when there was only one season of BBC Sherlock (I think?) I used to ship Lestrade with Mycroft even though they never were seen interacting with each other, lol.
And in Dragon Age I have this very niche ship that is Dorian/Fenris. Potentially they could've met. But in the canon they have not. (I am only familiar with the actual games and have not read any of the comics/visual novels so if they have met there, then I have no knowledge of that whatsoever.)
There are probably some other ships too but these are the only ones that immediately came to mind.
12. Have you ever been disappointed when your ship finally got together? I don't think so? I usually never ship anything that ends up becoming canon anyway, so it's not like I have much experience of that even happening.
But I can tell you that very often if I have shipped something really hard for a really long time, I have already built this whole elaborate story in my head about how it all should go IF they ever were to get together and as such I actually don't even want the ship to become real canon. Because obviously the showmakers would just do it wrong anyway, I don't trust their visions. Does this kind of answer the question? 😂
16. Talk about a ship you initially disliked. Hmm, I can't think of any such ship right now, although I am sure there must have been at least a ship or two that I disliked first and then later on learned not to... 🤔
But I will go with a ship that I was at first very indifferent towards and which later grew on me anyway and now I actually do ship it (though it's still not my OTP in the fandom because of course I had to go for a more rare ship with almost no content, lol).
I'm gonna go with Mash and Trapper/Hawkeye. At first I had no feelings about this ship. Then I kinda went "yeah they fuck sometimes but that's it". Then I started shipping them in a joking way and by now I actually ship them for real. Idk what changed but I'm not even mad, lol.
20. Talk about a ship you feel alone in shipping. I know I am not actually alone, but there are only a handful of people who do ship Hawkeye/Mulcahy and the even smaller handful of fics there are of them I have already read several times. 😅
I also know I am not alone in shipping Richie and Eddie, there's a big fandom and all that. But as someone who prefers the miniseries over the new IT films any day, I do feel quite alone in that sense. I could talk about miniseries!Reddie for hours with someone, but Reddie from the new films... not really. Completely different energies.
Also lol, there are those few ships where you and I are almost the only shippers. I'm talking about lovely stuff like Renegades and Hank/Buster, or The Young Guns films and Chavez/Doc, and of course the classic Morgan/Erkki from Den som frykter ulven. 😂😂😂
Oh! And this only came to my mind because literally a few days ago when I was reading Lawrusso fics, I accidentally stumbled upon an author who had also written a fic about these two guys whose names I don't even remember lol from the film Killer Klowns from Outer Space and I was like !!!!!! because I have shipped that for years and there has literally been not a single fanfic - before that one. That is the only one. I haven't read it yet, and in fact I should rewatch the movie before even attempting to, but... oh god. I was literally so alone but at least now I know there is one (1!) other person who ships it too. 😂
21. Is there a ship you just don’t get, but have nothing against? Probably most of the more popular ships in those fandoms where I belong to but I don't actually ship the popular thing myself... But I'm trying to come up with some proper examples.
From Mash I can think of BJ/Hawkeye. I really have nothing against people shipping it but I also have zero interest in the ship myself, nor can I really see it myself.
This next one is not a popular ship I don't think, but from IT (the new films specifically) I remember being really surprised to find out some people actually ship Bill and Stan because as far as I remember those two don't really even have many scenes together or interact at all? Although let's be real I've only watched the first film of the two and only 2 or 3 times I think so maybe I've missed something. Anyways, again I have nothing against this ship, I just have zero interest in it and can't personally see it.
Again, there are probably other ships that I'm very indifferent about but those two came to mind first.
26. Have you noticed a pattern in your shipping? Is there a romantic dynamic you’re more drawn to? Well, there is definitely the enemies to lovers dynamic that I have always been very much into. And if not enemies to lovers, then I at least tend to prefer ships where opposites attract, I guess? Not in a way that the people have nothing in common, there is always something in common, whether it is shared/similar kinds of trauma or whatever. But yeah, I guess that's it.
30. Name a couple of fandoms in which you have no ships. Fuck! You know what, I am shipper trash and if I like something enough to consider myself as part of the fandom, it is a very safe bet that I also have a ship in it. As such, I can't think of a single fandom that I've actively been interested in where I didn't ship something at least in a kind of a joking way. 😅
39. Is there a fictional relationship you’d really want for yourself? Tbh, not really... I don't really feel comfortable in relationships and the moment anything starts getting too serious I immediately start freaking out because I am a weirdo with trust and commitment issues so... No matter how much I like something in fiction, no matter how cute and healthy and wholesome it might be, I can't even begin to imagine that for myself. Like, sure, unconditional love and great (preferably gay) sex would be nice to have I guess, but also that's too much responsibility for me so... yeah. None for me thanks!

16 Tops Films for European Film Festival 2022
The European Film Festival in South Africa returns with a hybrid event for its 9th edition between 13 and 23 October 2022.
Tumblr media
Festival co-director Magdalene Reddy explains that the festival will continue to cater for its viewers and followers who have become accustomed to the ease of watching films in the comfort of their own homes, while also providing for those who long to return to the full cinema experience.   ‘This is our transitional approach of coming back to theatres gradually,’ she says.  The online screenings will be free while a ticket price will be charged for the theatre screenings.  Each film will have a single screening at both Ster-Kinekor’s The Zone in Johannesburg and at The Labia in Cape Town.
Tumblr media
Sixteen award-winning films, eight of them by women directors, will be screened. This year’s theme, Innocence and Beyond, explores innocence not just as a legal concept, but as a human quality.  This includes two stand-out perspectives through the eyes of children in Petite Maman and Playground. Petite Maman is a tender tale of memory, friendship, and family by the gifted and often unpredictable French filmmaker Céline Sciamma, while in Playground Belgian director Laura Wandel deploys cameras rigged at child level to effectively portray the emotions and experiences of school bullying from a child’s point of view.
Tumblr media
There is no set age for when loss of innocence can occur and a number of films focus on youth as they navigate the often turbulent process of growing into adults. From the Netherlands, Shariff Korver's slow-burning psychological thriller Do Not Hesitate depicts unprepared Dutch youths thrown into the crucible of war, a situation complicated by their naiveté when encountering other cultures.   Swiss film Olga, by Elie Grappe, is a tense but sensitively handled tale of exile reflecting the clash between the personal and the political in a young Ukrainian gymnast's search for identity against the backdrop of revolution in her mother country. The riveting women-driven film Small Body is an adventure story infused with a wonderful mythological sensibility that earned Laura Samani the best new director prize at Italy’s David d’Donatello awards. How much does innocence inform a young woman's quest for love and meaning as she enters her 30s without any idea about her identity and purpose in life? This is the question in Joachim Trier’s The Worst Person in the World, a Norwegian/ French/ Danish/ Swedish co-production that earned two Oscar nominations this year.  Then, Stefan Arsenijević’s Serbian/ French/ Luxembourgian/ Bulgarian/ Lithuanian co-production As Far As I Can Walk highlights that it’s not just securing a roof over one’s head but also the challenges of emotional and intellectual deprivation that young migrants in Europe face today.
Tumblr media
Is innocence solely about what’s right and what’s wrong?  Sometimes it’s about what we don’t do. Sometimes it’s about making choices that impact both ourselves and those around us, and in some cases society and the wider world?  Silent Land, by Poland’s Aga Woszczyńska, is a case of what the protagonists didn’t do, and how that leads to the collapse of a relationship.  The film is also about the collapse of value systems in the modern world, about a general indifference to reality, and about social lethargy.   Erik Poppe’s Swedish film The Emigrants is an epic period drama about a poverty-stricken family who emigrate from Sweden to the United States in the 1800s. Told from a woman’s perspective, their search for a second chance in life is, like the stories of migration in our current era, about a journey of hope.  From the Republic of Georgia, Levan Koguashvili’s comedic Brighton 4th is a portrait of parental sacrifice and the love of a father for his son that also offers an authentic look at the immigrant experience and the elusiveness of the American Dream.   Enveloped in music and humour, Ali and Ava, written and directed by one of the UK’s most distinctive cinematic voices, Clio Barnard, is about a couple from different cultural backgrounds beginning a relationship with a mixture of nervous excitement, openness and innocence. The Good Boss, directed by Fernando León de Aranoa, is the Spanish film in this year’s festival – it’s a hilarious satirical comedy about the indignities of working life, with the questionable innocence of Javier Bardem in the spotlight.
Tumblr media
Overturning conventional definitions of innocence Austrian Sebastian Meise’s Cannes-winner Great Freedom explores tenderness, love, lost time, and the tenacity of the human spirit while chronicling an ignominious chapter in queer history.  Portuguese director Catarina Vasconcelos’s unorthodox film The Metamorphosis of Birds sifts through the memories and dreams of her ancestors in an extraordinary homage that demonstrates how something deeply personal can be profoundly universal.  Is a humanoid robot innocent?  That’s one of the questions in the witty and delightfully entertaining German film I’m Your Man by Maria Schrader. It’s a spunky sci-fi dramedy that also asks what it is that humans want in relationships, and if AI beings should have rights.
Finally, the world is again witnessing and affected by a terrible war, and innocence is an unfortunate casualty during wartime, at all levels.  Along with the already mentioned war drama Do Not Hesitate, there is director/screenwriter/editor Maryna Er Gorbach’s Ukrainian-set drama Klondike.  About the travails of parents-to-be living near the Russian border this film couldn’t be more timely as it exposes the absurdity of war and how it affects those who aren't directly involved just as easily as those who are.
Tumblr media
The EU Ambassador to South Africa Sandra Kramer comments; “This year’s European Film Festival has been inspired by innocence as a human quality. The festival’s theme – Innocence & Beyond – tries to capture our loss of innocence on a number of levels as we deal with the present and lay foundations for the future. I invite you to join us for the best of European cinema: award-winning films that will not only offer a temporary escape, but also a space for pause and reflection.”
Tumblr media
eSwatini and Lesotho
This year’s festival extends its reach to neighbouring countries eSwatini and Lesotho with 3-day programmes of screenings and discussions taking place at the Alliance Française in Mbabane (21 to 23 October) and the Alliance Française in Maseru (28 to 30 October).
Side Events
Real-time Zoom panel discussions and Q&A’s with film directors will enrich the experience and understanding of the filmmaking processes and motivations as well as the topics raised in the films, while a programme of Filmmaker Engagements is formulated to inspire young filmmakers at film schools in South Africa.  In addition, with an emphasis on youth, the festival will again provide a number of screening and discussion programmes at select secondary schools and community centres in different parts of the country.

Project Launch - First project for RY 2022-23
The highlight of the event was the launch of Egg Project which was chaired by Rtn. K. P. Manjunath and supported by Rtn. Thirupalaraju. They highlighted the benefits of egg and urged everyone to support this initiative which will help several people in our society. The idea is to take this a long way starting from our club but to grow to district as well as international level. We also got commitment from our AG and ZG to support and sponsor for this project. New member Rotarian Rtn. Muniratnam announced his contribution to this project and few others also came forward. A request to all who are celebrating their birthdays, anniversaries, or any other occasion, they can think of contributing to this noble cause.

The event cannot be successful if we do not get the support from all the members and local leaders. We are lucky to have some of the key local dignitaries who not only supported this event but having faith in what we do as Rotarians. Thanks to all the wonderful human beings who bless us and guide us in this journey.

okay okay but what if I wrote a reddie au where richie plays an incredibly dumb borat-esque character in the mid-2000s and goes to the grocery store where eddie works and eddie somehow fails to see through his stupid character and lets richie ask him “what is this?” about thirty different types of identical packaged cheese and he wants to be so apoplectically mad like he’s seconds away from l o s i n g it except richie-borat gave him two lil kisses on his cheeks when they met and eddie found it so inexplicably charming he just follows richie round the store like “that’s cheese... that’s also cheese. that’s cheese” for a full ten minutes before richie finally breaks character to be like WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU and it’s all based off this clip:
