hello fanartist. in front of you is a character who is canonically fat, and mentioned to be fat in the media. you have 30 seconds to explain to me why you've drawn them skinny and box shaped without saying "its my style," "i don't know how to draw fat people," or "i didn't know they were fat" before i push you onto the landmine behind you. the timer starts now.

something i think is really interesting with the framing and stuff of this scene is that like we overheard the dude chatting up the girl across from them and like... they frame the other couple between their faces in one angle, and in the other angle they're shown like this, framed within the couple's faces
but theres such a clear contrast; oliver and felix are in focus. they're smiling at each other. they're leaning toward each other. their legs are braced against the other. hell that second screenshot is from me realizing something i didnt on my first watch, which is that felix claps his hand onto oliver's thigh while theyre talking
i dont know how to make gifs but if anyone wants to gif the thigh touch, felix hesitates just a little before laying his fingers and palm over oliver's thigh, then squeezes, then slides his fingers like half an inch in. these are not heterosexual actions you do with heterosexual intentions
and for fucks sake, felix is PLANTED on that couch with him. he has no intention of leaving until oliver says to 'eenie meenie' one of the girls to take home. and even Then, felix stays looking at oliver for half of the eenie meenie-ing, and THEN redoes it with 'you're out, boy scout' when he lands on one, and T H E N does THIS
like oh my fucking god. oliver. you had literally every chance to say 'actually, take me home instead'
