I just don't understand what his team was thinking when they agreed to this stunt. Exactly how does he benefit from it other then being seen as an uber straight grade-A douchebag? Is this really the image his team wants for Timmy? There's just too much talent and potential there to be shamming with a Kartrashian/Jenner.
Hello, Anon:
It’s absolutely mind-boggling what having more money than God can buy in the United States of America these days: New lips, new hips, and a sparkling new image with a shiny new man who apparently doesn’t even need to be present to win.
Tumblr media
The KarJenner PR team has been hard at work for the last few months for a classy reboot of baby sister Kylie, complete with a romance with the internet’s boyfriend, style influencer and fashion icon Timothée Chalamet, who also happens to be the greatest actor of his generation. At face value, it certainly does seem like an unlikely match, given the imbalance of (dare I say it?) intellectual curiosity and preternatural talents between them. But anything is possible, when one has more money than one can ever spend in several lifetimes and the other has greater goals and ambitions than his power and influence will allow at this point in his career.
Both parties involved, however directly or indirectly, can find benefit in being in each other’s orbits driveways, taco restaurants, tarmac, in an image-conscious culture ravenous for juicy content just like this.
One of the pair has received a decidedly more positive boost from it.
The other, not so much, perhaps by design.
He may have extremely valid reasons for wanting to promote that particular “douchebag” image, if he really is willingly participating in what appears to be yet another PR romance. His handlers and PR team probably assume that he must do this in order to continue to level up in Hollywood as the next Leonardo DiCaprio. And they are probably right, given the current wave of puritanical bigotry in the USA and elsewhere in the world. There is far too much money riding on the success of his next three potentially blockbuster projects and too many people with a vested interest in his success for them to allow his image to be seen as anything other than “normal” in order to appeal to the mainstream sensibilities of a global audience. His own ambitions most likely make it impossible to refuse.
Tumblr media
Can’t knock the hustle. ✨💃🕺🏻✨ And both of them are hustlers. Maybe that’s what they have in common.
If this were truly an authentic romance, we already know that all they would need to do to keep it private is to KEEP IT PRIVATE: Say nothing to the press, don’t call the paparazzi to meet you in the parking lot, don’t alert the media at all. They both have the means and resources to disappear from public view whenever they want, if they really wanted to do that. It’s not a requirement to begin a new relationship with a press release, not even for celebrities.
And yet here we are, a love story loudly announced in a tale of two cars, maybe three, long driveways but park at the bottom where everyone can see, and taco dates with paparazzi who take photos but only with his wingman.
Tumblr media
A story which has made it abundantly clear that at least one of them wants to
MAKE SURE EVERYONE NOTICES their super-duper-uber-private budding romance 🚘🌮❣️🌮🚘
I’m not entirely convinced that he’s even an active participant in all of this, TBH. Many of the details thus far don’t add up to much of anything except a lot of black cars being shuffled around in his driveway published by the trash gossip press with sensationalist headlines and articles intended to plant the idea in the minds of those who want to believe it or need to know it’s happening.
For reasons.
And all of this accomplished without a single decent photo as concrete evidence of this alleged romance between two people famously well-versed in the art of the selfie in the golden age of Instagram.
Tumblr media
Not even a fan photo or one “leaked” by their team. Nothing, except some extraordinarily grainy outdoor shots in someone’s backyard where the only easily identifiable person is Kylie Jenner and only because of her unusual proportions, in a town teeming with Teemo lookalikes who would happily stand in for the real thing for nothing but the chance to say they did it.
The Devil works hard but Kris Jenner works harder.
Tumblr media
Seeing might be believing, but only if we can actually see what we’re seeing.
Thanks for your comment. 🤔🥔📸🎪🫤🤷🏻‍♀️

"You don't believe in the Duchess, do you? I mean the real Duchess, not your inn."
Polly looked into the small, pinched, intense face.
"Well, I mean, they say she's dead, and I prayed to her when I was small, but, since you ask, I don't exactly, um, believe as--" she gabbled.
"She is standing just behind you. Just behind your right shoulder."
In the silence of the woods, Polly turned.
"I can't see her," she said.
"I am happy for you," said Wazzer, handing her the empty mug.
"But I didn't see anything," said Polly.
"No," said Wazzer. "But you turned around..."

#SeeingIsBelieving
In our living society, everyone are forced to place perspective on everything we see. Eventually it begins to be very hard to distinguish what is real from what is not.
Pictures become one of the things that we’re able to use to decipher this reality from the virtual one.
Without trust taken from pictures/the awareness of virtual reality, this society would probably panic with the fear of not be able to trust anymore; and for sure eventually would venture into having to see things from itself to finally believe.

The winning team was bequeathed $100,000 for each member to use as they see fit. Congratulations to them and the other participating teams!
Thank you to all who participated in this tournament. I know this wasn't exactly a good one for all involved, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. While it may seem that one team was favored over another, I assure, I had little to do with the voting process. Next time, however, I'll find another way to make the votes for secretive so that bias and favoritism do not take place. Again, I appreciate everyone who participated and I look forward to seeing you all again for it next year.

"You see the best in people." -corditeheart
@corditeheart | Seeing is Believing |
Zell gave her a small smile, "I try too."
It wasn't always easy, but he'd grown up being made fun of for being an orphan, for being adopted, for wanting to join SeeD. He refused to let any of it get him down, instead he'd done his best to see the good in the people trying to bring him down. That it made them uncomfortable and eventually leave him alone was a bonus. It was hard sometimes though, especially with Seifer. That man was just out to make everyone miserable on purpose. He tried to get under your skin just to see if he could. Sadly, even Zell's happy-go-lucky outlook couldn't make him immune to that. Seifer was the one person Zell could actually act angry at, in a way though, it was because he knew Seifer wouldn't take it personally. That he knew Zell was annoyed with him, but didn't actually want him to disappear. Or, well, that's what Zell hoped was the case anyway.
He raised a questioning brow at Xu, "Why do you say that though?"

Phoenix prepares to move into Miles' house while carrying on with everyday life and dealing with a bombshell discovery.
Wanting to get as much rest and relaxation as possible, Miles gently shook Phoenix’s shoulder until he woke. The sleepy haze in his partner’s eyes and the dribble of drool slowly sliding down the side of his mouth was oddly charming as was the way Phoenix’s hair was plastered to one side of his head. Smiling tenderly, Miles leaned forward and kissed his forehead.
“We’re home,” Miles murmured.
“Yours or mine?” Phoenix asked groggily.
“Mine but soon to be ours,” he reminded him, loving the smile that crept onto Phoenix’s face, “Let’s bring our valuables inside and retrieve the rest tomorrow. I’m weary and need a few hours of sleep as do you before you can function.”
“I roll out of bed an hour before I’m due in court and do just fine,” Phoenix argued.
“Case in point,” Miles teased, smirking when his partner huffed in annoyance, “We can debate the finer details during daylight hours.”

Hi! I’m skeptic when it comes to paranormal. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not dismissing your tarot and pendulum readings. I have seen coffee horoscopes come true; but I’m still having a hard time accepting something that can’t be rationally and scientifically explained so here’s my question have your tarot readings ever come true? And I mean solid ones not reading to much into some events and trying to attribute them to readings.
Hello Anon, thank you for the ask. I've had plenty of both tarot readings and pendulum readings come true, and I've also had some that were pretty revealing. I've had some skeptical people send in requests for readings done with them withholding pertinent information, although I do not wish to elaborate on what those details are or who these people are out of respect for their privacy. A lot of the readings I've given people from tarot and pendulum readings (I use my pendulum and printable abc chart when I'm giving a tarot reading fyi) did reveal things that ended up being true that weren't a 50/50 shot or even a matter of multiple choice. My readings are more detailed than generic "coffee horoscope" readings that could apply to anything (or "read too much into things") to make the real broad statements applicable, as you are talking about here. I've come across and heard of con artists of "psychics" and also ones that have downright misled people almost tragically so too. I've elaborated on many things to help make sense of things and connect the dots but that would make this post too long.
It is not absolutely not my job to convince people the "supernatural" exists or happens. If someone doesn't believe what I have to say, that is perfectly fine. I don't make money with readings I do nor do I want compensation, I simply make posts about my readings and that is that. Take it or leave it. I also cherry pick the crap out of who I decide to assist. Why? There are a lot of people who frankly don't want help, they just are time wasters who want to hear what they want to hear instead of hearing the truth. I will however say this: Based on what I do know about "the other side" and have made some posts about, it's extremely foolish of these "ghost hunters" and other "paranormal researchers" to keep going to these said "haunted places" and such in the name of "proving the other side exists". It does not matter how much physical evidence is out there (videos, photos, detailed diary entries, etc.).
It does not matter how truthful people are with their own personal accounts, people will always dismiss these things until it happens to them point blank and will use everything in the book to deny the legitimacy of these accounts because of the bad apples out there. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof right? Wrong. I say in this case, let people learn things the hard way with their own eyes and physical senses. They got plenty of videos and photos to go through, people are NOT entitled to proof the other side exists. Everyone will see the truth for themselves whether they're physically still alive or after they physically die period. Seeing is believing....
Why many of these self declared "skeptical" and "rational" people insist on cherry picking when diary entries, videos, photos, etc. work as proof and when they don't is a bit beyond me. If diary entries, videos, photos, etc. are requested for psychological diagnoses, disease diagnoses, etc. at times and in determining behavioral and physical patterns, why is this acceptable proof of something "abnormal" going on in this case but it is not when it comes to so called "paranormal experiences"? Sometimes these people are in fact less "skeptical" and less "rational" because they blindly believe what they are told is fact by "established organizations" like the government, scientific studies, etc. that have proven time and time again they do not always tell us everything they know or have outright lied in the name of "financial" or "self-protective" interests.
Am I saying all scientific studies are incorrect? Am I saying that one community is entirely wrong and the other is entirely correct? I am saying none of these things, as I know the truth is somewhere in the middle as is often the case with really anything. I am not saying you are one of these people who blindly believe what they are told Anon, as I do appreciate you sending in this ask even if you do not believe in divination. At the end of the day, people do not believe in these things until it happens to them. That's just how most people are, it's human nature. They have to learn things exist (or see things are not quite what they seem) when they see it and feel it with their own eyes. A lot of the so called "rationale" people have for dismissing these things could in fact be used to disprove really any of their own everyday experiences. I will say that when multiple physical senses are involved with things (ex. seeing and touching, smelling and touching, feeling nauseated and coughing while seeing new surroundings, etc.), this is when you know something is definitely happening. But then again, as Mark Twain once said "Life is but a dream" and therefore everything we see is just "our perception", right? This type of philosophy by the way I do not believe to be true, this is just a way to gaslight and brainwash people on a psychological level.
Thank you for the ask Anon. I apologize if this may come across in a negative way, I merely was simply trying to address my stance on what many self labeled skeptics say that tend to outright dismiss the truthful, consistent experiences because of the bad apples out there. Truth is stranger than fiction...

Thought Experiment:  Can you ever believe in “Aliens?”
Let's say a UFO lands in the middle of London, or Berlin or New York City tomorrow, a stereotypical "Grey" alien steps out, raises his hand, exposing his three lengthy fingers to his one opposable thumb, and then in a musical voice we hear that SciFi film cliche... "Take me to your leader."
Do you accept it? I mean, is this it, is this the "Proof" of aliens that you always demanded?
Is it?
Because here's the thing; I wouldn't.
I wouldn't believe it.
"Seeing it not believing."
We know how to fake aliens. Faking aliens is well within human capabilities. Faking aliens is something that FX artists have been doing for years. Faking aliens is something that makeup artists & costume designers are well versed in.
Or how about this:  We could even breed ourselves some convincing aliens! No problem. We wouldn't even need genetic engineering, per se. Even the ancients, going back to historic times, were changing the shape of their skulls (”Skull Modification”). And, selective breeding has done everything from turning wolves into all our different dog breeds to creating most of the vegetable we know today.
...carrots weren’t even orange, until someone selectively bred them that way!
Given enough generations, selective breeding could (would) certainly result in major aesthetic changes to the human form. Genetic engineering would simply be adding frosting to the cake, as well as speeding up the cooking time...
So we know how to FAKE aliens. Faking aliens is something we can do. But, we have no clue how someone or something might cross the vast interstellar distances to reach us.
We don't even get close to the speed of light before the kinetic energy in a pebble vaporizes the space shuttle!  At a hair below the speed of light the energy in a B.B. is enough to take out all life on our planet. And, as much energy as it takes to go that fast, it takes exactly as much to stop!
99% of our galaxy -- never mind the universe, just the galaxy -- lies more than a thousand light years from us. At the speed of light, traveling here from a thousand light years away, if you departed sometime around the collapse of Rome then the planet you left behind still has another 500 years to wait before receiving your first ever transmission from the Earth...
And 99% of the galaxy is even further away! HALF of our galaxy is MORE THAN 50x further away!
So the time scales are off the charts, the energy requirements are unheard of and the speeds are beyond nature... we have no idea how aliens might reach us, or indeed even if they can, but we know how to pull off a hoax. So, if "Aliens" land tomorrow then, yes, I wouldn't believe it. The odds so overwhelmingly support "Hoax" that there seems no point in even entertaining a legitimate visit.
Hmm...
What does this say about "Burden of proof"?
Scratch your head, set your mind to work here:  I betcha there's other circumstances which you can think of where "Seeing is not believing," where traditional "Evidence" or even "Proof" would be entirely inadequate.
Can you name any?
