Bisexuality is an umbrella term that covers a wide range of identities, terms, attractions, and behaviors that all fit the scientific definition of bisexuality.
Questioning your sexual orientation is a normal part of self-discovery. It can be a confusing and uncertain time, but it is important to remember that you are not alone. There are many resources available to help you explore your sexuality and find your true identity.
Sexual orientation is a spectrum, not a binary choice. You may be attracted to both women and men, or you may be attracted to women but not in a sexual way. There is no right or wrong answer.
If you are questioning your sexual orientation, here are a few things to consider:
- Do you have romantic or sexual attraction to women? If you are attracted to women, you could be a lesbian.
- How do you feel about your body? Do you feel comfortable with your body as a woman? If not, you may be experiencing gender dysphoria, which is a common experience for transgender people. However, not all lesbians experience gender dysphoria.
- How do you express your gender? Do you feel comfortable expressing your gender in a feminine way? If not, you may be agender or non-binary. However, not all lesbians express their gender in a feminine way.
Understanding Your Feelings
The first step in understanding your sexual orientation is to acknowledge your feelings. It's perfectly normal to question your attractions and desires. Take some time to reflect on your emotions, attractions, and past experiences to gain clarity about who you are.
Exploring Lesbian Identity
Being a lesbian means experiencing romantic and/or sexual attraction primarily to individuals of the same sex. Explore the concept of lesbianism, read stories of others who have come to understand their identity, and gain insights into the diverse experiences within the LGBTQ+ community.
Seeking Support
You don't have to go through this journey alone. Reach out to supportive friends, family members, or LGBTQ+ support groups. Connecting with others who have faced similar questions can provide comfort and guidance during your self-discovery process.
Self-Acceptance and Coming Out
Accepting your identity is a crucial step towards self-fulfillment. Whether you decide to come out or not, remember that your feelings are valid, and you deserve love and respect. Coming out is a personal decision that should be made at your own pace when you're ready.
Resources and Communities
Discover a wealth of resources, from LGBTQ+ organizations to online communities and support hotlines. These resources can offer information, guidance, and a sense of belonging as you continue your journey.
Conclusion
Asking yourself, "Am I lesbian?" is a significant step towards understanding your authentic self. Embrace your feelings, seek support, and remember that there is no rush in discovering your sexual orientation. You are valid, loved, and an essential part of the LGBTQ+ community. Take your time, and know that you are not alone on this path of self-discovery.
Embrace your truth, and the world will embrace you for who you are.

Bisexuality, like all sexual orientations, is about much more than what one does with one's genitals. It encompasses not merely one’s relationships and sexual activity, but also their sexual and romantic attractions.
EXACTLY 3 MONTHS FROM NEW YEAR'S EVE is my birthday. And in 2023, I turn 52. With the rabid #ageism and #PeterPanSyndrome that plagues the #gaycommunity, I'm sure many wonder why would I advertise my age. It is for a number of reasons. For one, so many suppress facing their true #sexualorientation as #gay or #bisexual that it leads to loveless romances with and marriages to the opposite sex to appease their families and/or friends' #homophobia. Or even worse, they commit #suicide. These Age Collages are to celebrate my survival from contemplating suicide from my teen years until coming out at age 30, and inspire others to survive as well. It is also to inspire aging gracefully. For the #druguse and #substanceabuse greatly enabled in the gay community definitely contribute to the aging. Ageing that many try to pass off my good aging as being because "Black don't crack". Well, I know from seeing otherwise. So with all that said, come March 31st, it's HAPPY 52 to me. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cm1ngQ2OFA-/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

quick bio.
if i'm being honest, there's not much to blaise fontaine other than his wit and pretty face. he grew up a spoiled only child who's mum was a mermaid and got him his necklace, which has a big ol' pearl on it to hide the talisman
he's part shark and thinks he's really fcking cool because of that
really he's just a floozy who's never had to do much with his life because everything is basically given to him
he came to bar harbour because it's actually where his parents met ( both as tourists ) and so he's decided to try it out — his excuse to his mother was that he's looking for his match, but really he's not sure he's ready to settle down with anyone
undeveloped connections.
give! him! exes!
someone need some photos taken???
i would love for him to have some friends that he like talks up and are sort of opposite to him ( also he will hit on them probably )
a will-they-won't-they is always fun
someone who just outright doesn't like him ( i'm sure that won't be hard to find )
