hey so can I get a scenario with rottmnt Donnie where he keeps stealing his lovers purple stuff, he notices them not having purple stuff around anymore and one day they are like “yea so I don’t buy purple anymore. Too much stuff is disappearing. Hmmm I wonder where it keeps vanishing too? “ and they give him a knowing smirk?

Purple Habits Die Hard (rise Donnie x gn Reader)

(Hello! Thank you very much for the requests-I am really enjoying them and promise I’m working through them-

I am open to more requests, guidelines are HERE, and I’m not saying that I specifically would like writing some Donatello angst but yes I absolutely would-

You didn’t love him anymore.

That was the only logical conclusion Donnie could reach.

Was he grasping at straws with that hypothesis? Likely. But the fact that there were even straws to grasp in the first place was enough to raise his suspicion.

Data point 1: You hadn’t worn purple in weeks. Not really a commitment, definitely not a symbol of possession, wearing his color was just a symbol that he was in your thoughts. The lack of that implied that he wasn’t plaguing your mind like you did his. At least, that’s what he picked up from it.

Data point 2: You barely invited him to hang out anymore. The last few times you two had seen each other had all been initiated by him, three to be exact, and all of those instances had occurred at the lair. Not your residence, not some fun locale, the lair.

Data point 3: …

Well, to be completely honest, he only had the two. However, how unscientific or illogical his hypothesis was mattered not.

Something was awry.

And he was going to get to the bottom of it.

A text message drew Donnie out of his downward spiral line of reasoning.It was from you, alleging that you were almost to the lair.

Right. He had been so busy plotting and scheming that he nearly forgot the subject of such endeavors, and that he had invited you over for investigation and/or confrontation.

He needed to get ready.

He tugged off the lavender sweatshirt he’d taken from your place a couple of months ago, the chain of your stolen lilac bracelet jangling as he did so.

Oh yeah. He should probably take that off, too.

He didn’t want to seem like a kleptomaniac.

He barely had time to chuck the articles into the deep recesses of his lab and act like he was busy working on some project before you knocked and entered the room.

“Heya, D.” You plopped down on the desk chair adjacent to his seat and spun around once.

His answer was a disinterested hum.

You summed it up as him being busy and started scrolling on your phone before he spoke up.

“My, what an opulent blue shirt you have on.”

That was an odd comment, and were those hints of disdain in his voice? You continued on anyway. “Uhhh, thanks? It’s just a graphic tee, though..?”

“Oh, don’t undersell it. It’s rather nice.”

“...Okay then.”

You weren’t following. He grew frustrated.

“Yes, it is grand, but would it not look in another, similarly shaded cool color?” He prompted.

“A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”

His eye twitched. You grinned.

You tilted your chair in his direction, tone lightly teasing. You two indulged in some lighthearted banter here and there, and that’s what you thought that was. “What, are you saying it’d look better in purple? Your color?”

“I’m not saying that I interpret the colors of your clothing symbolically, but yes, I do. You haven’t been wearing any of your purple articles recently, you barely invite me over anymore. You can just admit you don’t enjoy my company.” When his gaze fled to the ground, you realized that he was serious about this.

“Donatello…” you started, dipping your neck down so you could make eye contact. “That is the most ridiculous thing you’ve ever said. The reason I haven’t been wearing purple is because I don’t have any purple to wear. Something or someone keeps taking all of it. And, coincidentally, more goes missing every time you come over. That’s why I’ve been hanging out here instead.”

Donnie’s mouth was agape. The thought that he was the one causing his own problems hadn’t crossed his mind. Genuinely, thinking about it, it made a lot of sense. The worst enemy you can meet will always be yourself was really ringing true. But he couldn’t let his scientific validity and his dignity die in the same endeavor, so he took the next logical step. Lie.

The softshell swallowed before uncertainly droning, “I haven’t the slightest clue as to what you are implying.”

“I think you’re definitely smart enough to ascertain my implications. And you’re way past smart enough to know that I still love spending time with you even though I’m not wearing a specific color anymore.”

Donnie blinked. Oh. So, you two were cool, and he was actually just being melodramatic. He was still trying to figure out if that was worse than you being sick of him. It probably was. Probably…

However, he couldn’t dwell on that long. Something you said piqued his interest. The thing about the color of your clothing not holding any symbolic weight.

Expression growing subtly smug with the quirk of an eyebrow, he called your bluff. “If you are taking into account my intelligence, then should you not also observe that I am smart enough to discern the correlation between the formation of our partnership and you coming into possession of more purple attire?”

You blinked before countering with a smirk. “How would you know that I bought more purple clothes if I haven’t been able to wear them?”

Oh, Schrödinger. The only way that he would know, and the reason he did know, was because he had taken them

Regrettably, he mumbled. “... I plead the fifth.”

“Oh no you don’t. Public interest takes precedence over your individual rights, sir. Get subpoenaed, sucker!” You perked up in your seat and pointed an accusatory index finger at the man. “Where are my things?”

He crossed his arms.“You have no definitive proof that it was me. Your argument is circumstantial, at best. Good luck defending that in a court of law.”

Your excitement deflated. “Fine, fine. I suppose I must continue on without wearing purple, our color, forever.”

You batted your eyelashes sadly. It was a cheap tactic, but you weren’t afraid to stoop if it meant you could get your regular Donnie- you meant, wardrobe back. Yeah, you missed your clothes, but you missed having him over more. Probably.

It only took a couple more seconds for him to crack. “Sigh… Hey, completely unrelated segue, but could I come over tomorrow?”

“Suspicious timing, but I’ll allow it.”

“Great.”

“This meeting is adjourned.”

Somehow, by some otherworldly force/the magic of guilt tripping, your violet sweatshirts, t-shirts, accessories, gradually began showing up as the weeks went on.

By the same mysterious impetus, their return coincidentally synchronized with Donnie coming over.

I had an idea for a one-off Rise episode plot and just wanted to quickly sketch up some visuals for it.

The plot goes as follows: Donnie attempts to invent a cloning machine and, due to some kind of science-y mishap, ends up cloning himself...a lot. But there's a catch to this - the clones aren't exact copies of Donnie, they each possess just ONE of the various facets of his personality (i.e. brainy, broody, sarcastic, passionate, dramatic, mischievous, etc.) and a small portion of his mystic powers. Don tries his darnedest to keep the whole situation under wraps while he searches for a way to fix it, but some of the more rambunctious Donnies quickly escape and begin stirring up trouble in the Lair, so it doesn't stay a secret for very long. To make matters worse - the real Donnie starts to slowly disappear (something having to do with his existence being divided among the Donnies or blahblahblah fake science explanation). So, while he and the scientist Donnies continue to look for a way to reverse the cloning effect, his brothers and Co. set to work gathering up all the other Donnies so they can put them back where they belong and keep Donnie Prime™ from vanishing.

Hilarity, wholesomeness (and some mild angst) ensues.

Dyeing/Cutting Your Hair Headcanons!

All ROTTMNT boys x gn reader (romantic+established relationship)

On a whim, you decided it was time to change up your look

You’ve had this hair length and color for a long while, and it was time to change things up for once!

So impulsively, you booked the soonest appointment to your hair salon, deciding that it would be a surprise for your boyfriend as well

You directed the hairdresser the way you wanted your hair, the shade of the color(s), and by the end of it, you could barely recognize the person in the mirror, but you couldn’t be happier to see the new you with your new hair style!

You just hoped your boyfriend would be happy with your new look!!

Raph

Wasn’t expecting the new change, but loved it anyway!

He really doesn't care what you change your hair to, or even if you got a new tattoo or piercing, he just love you

No matter what you look like he loves you either way, but he thinks your new haircut and color is amazing

“Wow! Your new look is awesome, [n/n]!”

“Ooh, and that color is perfect for you too!”

He’ll throw a thumbs up as well, smiling cause he just loves you so much

Will stare at your new hair for a bit, he’s just absorbing the new look

Overall, thinks you look lovely per usual!

Bonus points if you get it dyed red though, he’ll blush a bit more than normal

He’s a very go-with-the-flow kinda guy, so despite you not impulsively cutting/dyeing your hair before while you two were together, he’s not surprised when you impulsively do it

“Wow babe, you look good!”

“That color is really working for you!”

Will ask for a turn around from you so he can get a 360 of your new hair

Will probably touch your new hair too (unless you two explicitly stated boundaries when it comes to not touching your hair) just because he wants to

Bonus points if you get it dyed blue, will tease you about it specifically, and very much would love your new hair more if you had it dyed his signature color

“What, you love me so much you had to dye your hair blue? Can’t get me out of your head, huh?”

Surprised and screamed cause he thinks you look amazing (not that you don’t normally look amazing, but you know what I mean)

Not actually sad he didn’t know about it but would’ve been happier to know about it at least right before you got it cut and dyed

“Ohmigosh [n/n]! Why didn’t you tell me?” He pouts “I so would’ve joined you or helped you pick out a shade of color!”

“Not that you don’t look amazing, because you do! I just like doing things with you!”

Would appreciate to know and go with you next time because he loves spending time with you and wants to experience it with you in the future if/when you get it cut/dyed again

Bonus points if you dye it orange, will fond over it

“Aww and your hair is orange now too! I love it so much!”

Donnie

Would definitely like to know ahead of time

He wanted to be mentally prepared for the new look

He likes to be an organized and somewhat prepared guy, so when you come to the lair with a new haircut and color he has to do a bit of a double take

Tries to be so supportive though

“W-wow, [y/n], your hair-“ and he smiles a bit awkwardly

It’s not that he’s mad at you, just a bit disappointed he didn’t know ahead of time

He still thinks you look handsome and beautiful and loves you no matter what! Just wants to know changes like this ahead of time is all

“You look good!”

Bonus points if you dye it purple, likes that you (probably) thought of him when choosing that color, will tease you lovingly like Leo

“Purple suits you well, [y/n].” And he smirks

Overall loves your new look, even if it did take him by surprise at first!

🎄Christmas Rottmnt...headcanonsish!

(🎅Rated E for everyone!)

• Leo, the snowman☃️

• "Okay, my little mistletoe~"

• Leo purred (with his usual charming smile.) He set his hands on the box. Sticking his fingers directly under the seams of the wrapping paper.

• "Let's see what you got me."

• With one motion, ALL the wrapping paper torn was off. Super confused and a little impressed, you looked too Donnie.

• "Leo has the "perfect" method to remove wrapping paper."

• He replied, deadpan. You snickered and looked back at your boyfriend, waiting for his reaction.

• He raised it up.

• "What's this?"

• He asked, softly. You cleared your throat. Time for the present's dramatic origin story! You sat down next to him.

• "I noticed whenever you post your "champion" pictures on Tok Tik, you only have shades and a robe hanging off of you."

• You looked down and tugged a loose thread out of your jeans.

• "So, I bought you a crown."

• "It'll look nice on you."

• ...That didn't sound nearly as powerful as it did in your head.

• Leo closed his mouth and put the his crown back in the box. He just stared at with a neutral expression. You looked around.

• "...Do you like it-?"

• The moment those words left your mouth, you were smooched and spun around in the air.

• "Oh my gosh! You are so thoughtful!"

• Leo shouted, still spinning you. You said a dizzy "yer welcome" and he finally stopped.

• "Hold on, I got the perfect thing."

• He said. He rummaged through his jean pockets. And out came the pinnacle of Christmas traditions.

• "Mistletoe~"

• Your cheeks burned. He's not gonna set you free in awhile.

• Donnie claus🎅

• "You're my secret Santa, right?"

• Donnie asked. You nodded quickly. That was his, alright. You made the "go on" motion. Normally, you're not one to rush, but you were dying to see his reaction. Noticing your eagerness, he snickered and slowly peeled the wrapping paper away.

• He looked closer.

• "Lou jitsu: the video game?"

• You slid next to him, bumping his shoulder.

• "Uh-huh. But unlike the original that only pixels, this is remastered."

• You replied, rolling the R. Noticing all the brothers looked puzzled, you decided to go with the simple yet awesome explanation. You stood up.

• "Let's just say I persuaded Jace into remaking the game this Christmas."

• You said with a smug smile. Obviously, you let your fist do the talking. You're real, like that. Donnie shot up next to you.

• "You shook down the purple dragons for me?"

• You nodded.

• "Even got 'im add to a dlc."

• "Plot written by me, of course."

• D took a breath, kissed you on the cheek, and headed towards the bathroom.

• "Where are you going?"

• Mikey asked. (Already tearing into his present.)

• "Too much eggnog."

• Donnie said, tearfully.

• Mikey, the red nosed reindeer🦌

• "Wow...it's so big!"

• Mikey laughed. He shook the box around. Which was bad for the gift.

• "Is it just one thing or a bunch of doohickeys?"

• You clamped your hands over his, your chest on his shell.

• "Just open it and find out."

• You said calmly, hiding your nervousness well. He nodded and got to shredding. He was gobsmacked when he saw the shinier box underneath.

• "Oh. Me. Gosh."

• "The Jupiter Jim super awesome fan box!?"

• You nodded, a little smile on your face. You gifted all the boys (and Splinter) Jupiter Jim stuff, but...your boyfriend got the best one.

• "Aw, what?"

• Leo whined in the background. You weren't sure why he was pouting. You got him the BIG set of JJ posters.

• "Posters, stickers, comic books,"

• "Ah! It's got everything!"

• Mikey looked at you with a HUGE smile. You suddenly lost your footing and was pulled into a very tight hug.

• "You're the nicest, sweetest, nicest, person ever."

• He gushed into your shoulder. You kissed him on the cheek and then realized your leg kinda hurts...Did this boy trip you?

• Raph Frost❄

• "Can I take off the blindfold now?"

• Raph asked, reaching for it. You answered with a sharp 'no' and he totally stopped. He was pretty confused since wrapping paper is enough to cover a gift. Why all the secrecy? After some scuffling and scolding Splinter for trying to "taste test" the gift, you put your hand on Raph's.

• "Okay...you can take it off now."

• You said, quietly. He snatched the 'fold off and looked down. His mouth instantly watered.

• "You made me a cake!?"

• You nodded, getting shy. You wiped your hands wiped on your apron.

• "Funds were kinda low this year, so I could only make you somethi-"

• Raph pulled you close.

• (With one hand, mind you.)

• "Are you kidding? I can't wait to eat this circle of festive goodness!"

• "Donnie grab the plates!"

• You felt, lowkey overwhelmed. You were expecting an awkward 'thank you' and the silent treatment. But...he's super happy. About an edible gift!?

• "You're okay with gift you can only have today!?"

• You asked, still squished against his plastron.

• "Of course, I got it from you after all."

• That one sentence...melted your frozen heart. Why is he the absolute sweetest?...But, it's just for today though! You sighed and laid into on his front shell.

• "Merry Christmas, ya dork."
