Within the structure of Pjo canon,transfem Percy holds a lot more weight than Percy being attracted to any male character does.Percy as a character since her conception was made to defy traditional manhood and while it's true that positive masculinity is something that deserves to be represented in children's media much more often,she's far from the right character for it because the thing is the reason Percy is who she is she's completely lacking in masculinity fullstop.This dosen't necessarily mean she can't be a gnc man but 1.She can be a woman too since genderfluid,bigender and other multigender people exist and they can be transfem by being amab 2.It is erasure to masculinize Percy regardless of what gender you see them as.Transfem Percy is straight up transmisogynistic because in canon she's feminine but transmasc Percy isn't any better because it's just 'you can only be a trans man if you're masc' regurgitation

Percy is constantly said to be different from male characters with an emphasizes on them being men-Piper saying she's not her type because she's not manly looking like Jason,her as a heroic foil to Luke who's pretty much the personafication of ancient greek men and their brutal nonstop violence to ancient greek women,the overhanging theme that Percy never wants to be a god because she dosen't want to turn into her dad or Zeus or any of the MANY men who've hurt her and it's her plot with Zoe to prove herself as nothing like ordinary men.And the thing about that last one is,the fandom loves to call the Hunters of Artemis te.rfy and say they have r*dfem energy but this is more on them because the Hunters never speak of biology,only gender identity and Titan's Curse wasn't 'Not ALL men',it was 'Yeah no men as a group are genuinely awful but Percy's built different than normal ones and that's why Percy's our protagonist and a role model for you'

She herself is aware of this-She's always insulting guys as she uses them being guys as the basis behind her dislike and often wonders what the appeal of being a guy even is,both from an attraction persective as she finds the male gods' extreme conventional attractiveness and stereotypically male to be really offputting and on herself as she frequently complains about having to live up to those things too according to society when she just wants to be Percy instead.She often shows a preference for femininity on both those aspects too and it's very important to note that Percy's positive important m/f dynamics are:Grover who is soft and sweet and considered 'unmanly',Beckendorf who is black and acts like her big brother,Frank who is a transmasc-coded moc and her family member,Jason who is an actual example of healthy and positive masculinity and that she met while having amnesia and most of all NICO who she sees as her kid brother,pseudo-son and is the first gay Percyverse character that was made gay by crushing on her but got over her because he realized she's not the ideal man he thought she was and calls her cute when saying this to her to reassure her she's still pretty because he loves her even if not like he thought because he thought they(her and him!)were something else

Now,i'm not saying Percy can't like boys at all.I actually headcanon her as bi and ship her with a good handful of male characters(Jason,Leo,Ethan,Carter and Magnus)but you are making her not Percy by removing her trauma involving men and resulting discomfort with them and her femme traits because these are major parts of her that make her who she is as much as her sense of humor,attitude and mannerisms do and while i hate him as a person and have since i was 12,Rick has stated that he never intended Percy as liking men romantically and has expressed no interest in changing that or ever stated Percy is cis but he did say he'd be happy and supportive of a poc playing Percy in adaptions and it says quite a lot that people get more angry over afrolatino Percy content-specifically that interpretation,the antiblackness focus in racist Pjo cannot be ignored-because it 'goes against canon' than they do over Percy having who she actually is taken away from her,the representation she provides as neurodivergent and poor protagonist who has zero conformity and is potrayed as cool and hot for it instead of a loser

Bruce Wayne – Straight, but a super supportive ally to his gay kids and exudes strong Bi Wife Energy because his "type" is women who can kick his ass.

Naoto isn’t trans, it’s just your headcanon. She grew up in an incredibly sexist society (and still is in modern day Japan) where women aren’t respected and the idea of a female detective would just be mocked by those around her. She dresses and pretends to be a man to get the respect of the people around her and complains that she has to.

Atlus is a Japanese company and does not write a story for Western audiences. Reading Western concepts and culture in P4 just does a disservice to it.

this is the type of thing that im told by people who dont enjoy persona at all lol. she (the person in question) wont give it a try at all because of how atlus wrote naoto, and i can respect that and her opinion on the series in general. i, however, find persona as a comfort series, and as ive grown up with it, i will continue to give these kids i loved since i was 13 my own headcannons.

i am aware that "canonically" they are not trans, but you know what? i dont have to follow canon. thats the magic of not caring about what others expect you to believe. i, personally, see naoto as a he/they trans person. they always will be the detective prince to me. on top of that?

my personal bias is that naoto should have been trans in cannon. everything i say about "violence" regarding others thinking theyre cis? thats all joke. i dont really care, so long as i myself am not forced into thinking the same way ; i have seen them as trans since i was 13 and i will not stop now. let people have their own headcannons, people do it for everything else all the time.

Vaguely, Florian really wanted to ask his new partner in crime-fighting why he tended to go after drug rings a lot. He’d definitely noticed it since he began working with him and, while he wasn’t complaining, he had to admit that it was a little curious.

But he never asked. Plenty of masks had specific types of people that they went after. Rorschach favoured petty criminals, kidnappers, and the like. Nite Owl II mostly went along with this, but seemed to target a lot of thieves as well. Silk Spectre II also had a type- traffickers, whether human or drug related. Really, the only one he’d seen without a real target seemed to be the Comedian.

Personally, Florian enjoyed going after the people who’d commit hate crimes. Didn’t matter the crime, if they attacked someone for their differences, he was sure to find them.

And, like himself, Ozymandias never asked. Hell, he never even asked how he found these people.

They shared a level of respect for each other that Florian hadn’t seen in a lot of partnered up masks. The Ghost and the Comedian despised each other, Rorschach would often stalk Nite Owl, and Silk Spectre would ask questions that no one should really be answering for their own safety.

She’d pulled that on him once, asking if he was married yet or if he had any kids. He shut her down quick, telling her that it was none of her business what he did with his life unmasked. She never tried to pry into him again.

And then there was the media. They seemed obsessed with masks who had partners, often implying that they had some sort of relationship outside of work. The amount of times they’d asked him and Ozymandias if they were dating was too many to remember, and saying ‘no’ had become such a routine that he cut it off before they even got to ask.

As tiring as all of this got, he didn’t regret putting on the mask. He felt better about where he was in the world by the time he finally made it home in the early hours in the morning, satisfied in the knowledge that he was making his city a better place.

Sure the bruises took forever to heal, and he often had to stitch himself up before collapsing into his bed, but he was also learning. Ozymandias had taught him a lot more about how to effectively fight than those self defense classes ever had, and he was gaining a better hold over his gift.

Plus, his success rate was growing, without the help of his partner. Despite working mainly together, Ozymandias liked to keep a lot of his targets secret from Florian, so he often had to spend a lot of his nights alone. He usually went after petty criminals on those nights, or went after his own favoured targets. Eventually, he added a new kind of people to that list- abusers.

He’d seen it happen. Watched the man lead what seemed to be his wife into that alley. He’d heard him yelling at her.

His reaction was purely instinct at that point, but by the time he was done with the man, his wife seemed relieved. Happy, even. She thanked him over and over again, even hugged him tightly and pressed a quick kiss to his cheek.

And he smiled at her, told her that everything was going to be okay, and that she needed to get the police for him. She did so without question or complaint, running off for the nearest police station.

That was a satisfying night. It was the first time he’d allowed himself to be proud of his work, as he watched the man be taken into police custody. The media was on him immediately like a swarm, unfortunately, but he thought he handled it well enough. It’d been a long time since cameras were on him without Ozymandias by his side.

He did not, however, take to the streets for a while after that.

It wasn’t that he was injured, it was because he felt the need to re-evaluate what he was doing. He’d heard the complaints from the police, he’d heard that a lot of them had been losing their jobs due to masks doing them for them.

As a man who had never once trusted the police in his life, he genuinely didn’t care.

The corruption was always going to be there. Florian had seen what masks had done to people. He watched the Comedian beat the life out of a man, witnessed the Ghost throwing someone out of a window to their death.

Not to mention Dr. Manhattan. As long as he was here, people were going to do whatever the hell they wanted. What was the point of being what society considered good if your life was going to be short anyway?

A lot of people threw themselves at masks now. They did what they could to not get caught, of course, but they no longer cared if they were found.

“Do you think we’re making crime worse?” Florian finally asked, while he and Ozymandias were alone in the soon-to-be Watchmen HQ locker room. The team hadn't been put together yet- their first meeting was quickly approaching- so it was just them in there.

“I mean, we’ve been working together for half a year now, and hardly anyone is scared of us. It feels like we’re all just going through the motions. People who want to do bad things just will, and they’re not even surprised anymore when they get caught,” he continued, staring down at his binder for a long moment before sighing and pulling it on.

He heard a soft hum from Ozymandias, glancing over at him. “I believe you’re right,” his partner replied, his grip on his button up tightening for a second before he was putting it on. “I can’t remember the last time a criminal ran, or attempted to keep from being discovered. We no longer scare them.”

“That’s disheartening,” Florian muttered, pulling a t-shirt on over his binder and patting his chest to ensure it looked flat. “We’re supposed to be keeping the peace, but our existence is doing the exact opposite. What the fuck’s up with that? What are we doing wrong?”

Ozymandias didn’t answer. Vaguely, Florian figured he couldn’t. Sometimes, even the smartest man in the world didn’t know what to say.

Finally, Florian was done changing into his civilian clothes. The only reason he changed like this in the locker room is because he and Ozymandias were always alone in there when he changed, and he felt like he could trust his partner.

“Brigade-” he heard, as he went to leave. He paused, turning to the man with a smile.

“You can call me Florian. No point in pretending when you’re the only person I trust.”

Ozymandias was quiet for a long moment, before returning his smile. “Then you may call me by my name,” he replied, knowing that Florian already knew he was. Why wouldn’t he? Adrian Veidt was all over the news.

“Be safe out there, Florian.”

“I can try.”

But trying wasn’t always good enough.

Adam from The Hollow is flawed: And Why it's important.

Long post with obvious The Hollow: Netflix spoilers but I just have to say it.

Adam coming out as gay in Season 2 was so important. But honestly what I personally think was more important was how he was portrayed. I love the fact that Adam was openly out and proud as a gay teenager. However it's just as important that he was portrayed as a normal character regardless of his sexuality.

Don't get me wrong, S2 has proven that despite his leadership skills and his abilities. Adam is a very flawed character.

Although he's a natural leader and will step up to the plate at any opportunity (not a flaw btw) he's combative at detractors. Meaning he does have insecurities of his abilities.

A HUGE narrative of S2 is his rivalry with Reeve. It's revealed Him, Reeve, and Mira were all part of the same Hollow Game team but Adam and Reeve butted heads constantly and forced Mira to figure out all of the puzzles. Eventually breaking apart not only the team, but also their friendship.

To add on top of that. It's a HUGE detriment to both teams when they initially are back together. The two almost enjoy hurling insults and bickering at each other. Much to the detriment of the team. The two getting to physical fights at it's worst.

Going back to the team dynamics. Although he's grown to being much friendlier towards Kai. Back in Season 1 the two clearly had their tensions. And when Adam admits his annoyance towards Kai at the beginning of S2. He does so in an admittably harsh way. He does apologize but still a cuts a cut.

His biggest fears and insecurities are his childhood bullies. It seemed fun and almost kind of ridiculous that Adam, essentially a superhuman in-game and a 'confident' leader. Is paralyzed in fear by his childhood bullies. However I think that spells out more of his character than anything we got up to this point. Adam hadn't explicitly said he was gay yet and it's all left to inference but I think Adam's biggest fear is rejection and being shunned. It manifested as his childhood bullies because even though we have the cocky, handsome, strong Adam now. Adam was that gay kid who was bullied for being weird and different.

Speaking to his cockiness, this season plays up the fact that he's aware of his appearance. After Mira apologizes for kissing him in the game even though she knew outside of the game that he was out of the closet. He touts himself by pulling off this pose and saying "who could resist me?"

What I'm trying to get at here is that TH S2 did an excellent job of portraying not only a main character, but an LGBT+ main character. I've seen a handful of people complaining that The Hollow Queerbaited by not making Adam "gay enough" because we get the flag in his room, he mentions that he's gay, and then it's done. I think that argument has 0 grounds because the show not only symbolically showed but also explicitly stated that Adam identifies as gay.

The Hollow also showed that Adam is a fantastic character because yes he is gay. But he's not what we stereotype as gay. Adam is a normal 16 year old. He's flawed in that he's insecure, combative, and certainly a bit cocky. However he's genuinely a good person, and one who is a good leader to boot. As a gay man it's liberating to see men who are open and honest about their sexuality in media. However, it's too often that we are lampooned by pop culture into being that foppish archetype of being the feminine gay (nothing wrong at all with being Fem. All gender presentations or lack thereof are valid). Or we are characterized by being the comic relief villain. It's so refreshing to see a gay male lead who is just a normal person. There are LGBT+ individuals of every type of fashion sense, gender portrayal, or characterization. The gay man who likes to watch Football and Hockey and drink beer isn't any less gay than the gay man who lives in a big city does what we have stereotyped as gay coded.

Adam being a flawed gay character, especially in a kids show is very important. It teaches LGBT kids that on top of it being possible for us to be heroes and the lead role, we are also human and it's okay to have flaws. It's okay to be LGBT+ and not have to enjoy or live up to what society deems that we must. So let's give it up to a funky superb little ninja badass Adam.

if you don't mind me asking, how do you deal with consuming content with 'problematic' aspects? for example, i see you reblog posts criticizing things like racism in tma, and you can still make content while being able to recognize those things. it's hard for me to continue enjoying something when it has even 1 thing slightly bad in it, but i know that's not a healthy way to consume content. is there anything you keep in mind when interacting with a given series? u don't need to answer ❤️ ty

also a note on my ask -- of course you don't need to answer, and you aren't a therapist & etc. i just admire your ability to both recognize flaws in works but still enjoy them, and thought since you seem to have critical thinking skills you might have a perspective that you could offer. being on tumblr from a young age seems to have affected my ability to separate things in my mind, lol. thanks so much for reading even if you don't feel comfortable answering.

I mean... you’ve kind of answered your own question? The only way to consume media is to remember that everything has flaws. My brother came by while I was typing this up and told me the answer is to “just vibe” because everyone is more or less terrible in one aspect or another but obviously, that’s not the answer you’re looking for.

I guess the short answer is just... you have to learn how to trust your own set of morals and understand that you shouldn’t feel guilty if a story you like betrays you. And yes, that’s hard, especially when you grow up surrounded by very rigid rules on what’s “okay” to watch, but if you’re just looking for some tips, here’s a list that I hope will help:

Find people you trust and see what they think of the situation. Think about whether or not they’re coming from an informed place. A friend of mine asked me if I knew about a Jewish tradition a while back. I had no idea what they were talking about. Turns out, it was something popular with German Jews. None of my family is from Germany. Sometimes, just being Jewish doesn’t mean I’m the right person to ask.

Find people who are complaining & see why they’re upset. Think about who is annoyed by this and how many of them there are. Think about what they think the proper response is, if any. Think about whether you have the right to wave off their concerns. Think about how those concerns are treated, both in-fandom and by creators. I saw a lot of people in the tma tag complaining about twitter “overreacting” to MAG 185, but if Jonny felt the need to issue an apology and specifically say that he realizes he’s crossed a line, chances are, the complaints were probably warranted (a thing I’d like to add is that apparently, RQ also issued an apology for a fluff episode they released, which I thought was kind of silly, because the episode was essentially just joking about martin forgetting a word. But also, as a neurodivergent person who sometimes struggles with speech, I do understand why that might upset people. not all apologies have to about incredibly important topics, but even the ones who aren’t show a lot about the cast behind it. Think about what will happen if you continue watching/reading etc. It’s not so much “is it okay if I keep watching this?” but “if I continue to watch this, will I convince myself that this problematic aspect isn’t actually a big deal? Is it so ingrained in the show that I can’t watch an episode without seeing the problems in it? What will I say to others, if they want to watch this?” For example, if someone sees you’ve reblogged a scene from a show you like and asks what it’s about, how many excuses are you going to give? How many trigger warnings are there, and can you justify them? There’s a difference between a piece of media having a character say homophobic slurs, and a piece of media saying a gay person should have homophobic slurs thrown at them.  Also: If you think you cant justify getting someone else interested, you probably shouldn’t justify contributing to the show. This might be obvious, but there’s a very big difference in pirating a tv show and buying its merch. 

Think about the fandom. If you continue talking about this, who are you surrounding yourself with? Like, there are a LOT of weirdos making content for kids shows, but that doesn’t always mean the show itself is weird. What it does mean, though, is that you should be careful navigating your enjoyment. Sometimes, the only way to enjoy something is to talk about it with a select few friends. Sometimes, it’s to enjoy it by yourself. I do believe it’s possible to enjoy a show in spite of the canon, but at the same time, if you’re watching a show that’s attracting a lot of racists, think about why that might be.

The thing about consuming media is that it’s very subjective. I know a lot of people who have given up on tma recently and while that’s not wholly because it’s “problematic,” it definitely plays a part in it. People have different meters for what they can excuse in media. The important thing to remember is WHY they left, and if you’re able to keep that in your mind while also continuing to engage in contact with the media. Will you be able to remember that Daisy traumatized Jon more than any other avatar if you consume context calling her Basira’s hot murderwife? Can you talk about the Flesh and acknowledge the racism in the creation of the Haans?

Personally, I don’t think you can produce positive content about Daisy and also acknowledge the harm she causes. You can’t point at a character and say, yes, she has committed actual police brutality, but I think she deserves a cute lesbian romance anyway. That’s not really a thing tma has done wrong as much as it is a problem with the fandom, but like, at the end of the day, it’s all just a matter of critical thinking. Who is being hurt by these portrayals of the characters? How? Most of the problems with tma aren’t things that are, like, baked into the actual worldbuilding and for a lot of people, that’s enough for them to still justify making content for the show.

If your complaints sound like “oh, if only they didn’t do xy, this would make for a good show,” then you’re probably fine. But if it goes into “i like this, but only if I can ignore (major plot point)” think about why you feel the need to keep watching. There are shows I’ve stopped watching based on principle. There’s manga I read that I only talk about with my brother and no one else, because I don’t want to be exposed to the fans. It doesn’t have to be as simple as “well, this artist did a bad thing, so now I’m going to ignore it forever.” If you think the creators of something are bad people, don’t support them. You can still pirate it or whatever, but if it’s something like hetalia, where the point of the show is just “let’s put all these stereotypes in a room and see how they react” then yes, for your own sake, you should stop watching because this is how stereotypes become normalized, and no one should be consuming media where nazi germany as the protagonist.

Really, at the end of the day, it’s just a matter of becoming media literate and that’s a process that takes time. Remember that being interested in something that isn’t 100% doesn’t make you a bad person, and listen to the people around you. Try and be a safe space for the people who do have complaints and remember not to place your enjoyment of something over the comfort of others. Other than that, just... do your best, I guess?

so in about 12 to 16 years, i am running for president. i do not believe the world will have ended then, though i do believe things will be different. hoping for better, not, not expecting worse. our system is broken. all of the systems are broken. the government is corrupt. the justice system is corrupt. those in charge are turning blind eyes, covering things up, and allowing the fall of our country. i will not be surprised if a civil war commences; although i'm also thinking they are going to really create and push for a purge. we are in real trouble then. that just goes back to what i said, are you standing for something or dying for nothing?

people were excited for biden to win. and i have to say, i was not one of them. biden seems like another puppet to me. obama was a puppet. he was his vp. crazy how biden is president and he has a black female vp now. that sounds like a win huh? wrong, she contributed to the failed prosecution of the officers who murdered Oscar Grant. that went over everyone's head during the election though. trump was just so bad had to get him out. biden is anti LGBTQ+. everyone wanted to put it on trump folks getting rowdy and such however, biden won and nothing changed.

trump's slogan was "make america great again." personally, i think he could have. trump's a businessman and to say the least, entertainment. they gave trump four years, why do you think they didn't renew his contract? because he was playing them. trump is a classist. he doesn't like poor people. personally, i think he just believes hardwork pays off, his did and so he just holds everyone to the standard he held himself. there are circumstances, however i think that's fair. he said all this racist shit everyone got mad. yet, he won by a landslide because the country said they would still rather this "bigoted, racist, sexist, classist asshole" than a woman. then the country complained the whole time. he exposed america and instead of society shining light and doing something they continued to do what we have been doing; pointing blame.

the system has failed us. the system failed us a long time ago. all trump did was present a call to action. the one thing i can give rednecks is they patriotic as fuck. they want the america they invision type shit. i feel like melanated people in general struggle with that because america never felt like home. america never wanted us here. but the fact of the matter is, this all we know. this is home now. there are 3 real options. 1. go back to where your bloodline stems. 2. sit and conform, hope they dont get you. 3. defend your rights, your home, and your people; come out on top or die trying. you have to pick something though. we have to do something because they those set to protect us are out to get us.

we do not have a democratic government not even a representative democracy like we once thought. sorry if you were today years old when you found out. we operate out of a republic; a constitutional federal republic. what's the difference? in a democracy, all that voting that we do, matters.  even if it was a representative democracy. we would have representatives to disclose our decisions. the electoral college makes final decisions on elections.

a constitutional federal republic means that the constitution which is the law of the land governs the land. if this is the law of the land, why do we have sub laws? the constitution needs to be amended. want to fix the race and inequality issues? let me tell you how, real easy fix. call a convention. take out any amendment that gives rights to people AND reword the beginning anyway folks see fit so that women and americans from all ethnic backgrounds get the same level of respect and rights. there will always be an unspoken division until things like that are rectified. before black people got rights we were not even counted as complete people, simply 3/5s of a person. life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. these are unalienable rights. my very existence guarantees me these rights.

the judicial system coupled with the criminal law system are hopeful, and still in need of reform. prisons are privately owned institutions, which are supposed to be forms of rehabilitation. instead, they are condemning people and treating them inhumanely; creating the same environment they were in on the outside, on in the inside conditioning them to be stuck in these ways as means of survival and then continue to place blame on them. officers need to take crimes more seriously. people are people, bias, prejudices, and profiling have no place in the workplace. officers are corrupt, arresting kids for selling, who just are trying to help their mother with the bills, then turning around and selling it back out on the streets. officers are wrongfully convictind and killing predominately (as far as the media is broadcasting) though not only melanated people. on top of that, they are walking free. lives are being lost and they arent even losing their jobs. tax dollars are going towards keeping them safe. however, if a civilian shoots a cop. up the river for them.

lawyers aren't fighting hard enough. especially defense attorneys. it is fairly simple to get a conviction with the right information, proving innocence is always a bit more complicated. the problem is that attorneys get too big eyed. they looking at how to get their clients off, accountability is another taboo in this society. there are a multitude of people who are innocent behind bars, as well as those who received heinous outrageous sentences. that is not right.

people factor more than necessary when trying to make a decision, yet they ignore the things that remind them a person is human. its this art contest over who can paint the best picture of the defendant. which story is easy for a jurors bias to sway? how people look matters. and it shouldn't. our government since the building of america, has created dividing markers.

just like with royal kingdoms, the wife couldn't have things of her own. her role was cleaning, cooking, taking care of the kids, and whatever else was asked of her. if there was a divorce, the woman got nothing. they had no rights. imagine being the first born as a female in a royal family and being told you can't have your kingdom, correction you can but you must marry to get it. then if you get married the new king running things not you. what is that? its called patriarchy. our government is run off a patriarchy as well.

so i never really believed there could be like a true separation of church and state because every law and decision made was based on people's morals and beliefs. there is supposed to be a separation of church and state yet, due to people's religious beliefs gay marriage had to get legalized, despite there being no law for heterosexual marriage. would that not make it illegal? since gay marriage had to be legalized though there was not a law for it either? then on top of that, how do you make it a law, and still for religious reasons, ministers and such can refuse? there are always stipulations and hinderances for the rights of those who are not white men.

ABORTION: i really do not know why we are still having this conversation. its literally conversations like this that have me looking at americans like--- seriously? once again there should be a separation of church and state. so religion cannot be a reason to outlaw it. how can you put out a law that dictates what someone can do with their body? all of life, i mean every part of life should be pro-choice. its just that simple. Pro-Choice. i am all for the right to decide for yourself. and men want to feel a way about women making that decision on their own. and while i do stand behind the fact that ultimately it is the womans decision, that does not mean she can't listen to an opinion. it is a part of the woman, literally grows inside of her an entire being. and fathers can just dip out and folks will just look at the mom and suddenly she should just become super woman. the pressure that comes with having a child is enough on its own. like thats a being that is dependent on you. some people are honest with themselves and know they arent ready or dont want it. all they need is support. the mental toll life takes on us is huge as well. still people do not consider that at all.

there is no point of incarcerating people, if they have still lost a chance at a decent life once they get out. jail is for rehabilitation. they go, do their time and then they are supposed to be allowed to try again. our government knows nothing of redemption, that's why all the top leaders go through so much to hide their dirt. they crucify civilians trying to make themselves seem superior, really they are just like you and i. almasi for president. im going to save the world.

why is there so much denial of Will being gay?? Like, nothing Will has done has shown him to be anytging but possibly gay. Like, nobody thinks he'z gay because he's a nerd that doesn't have a girlfriend!! We think he's gay because of all the fucking subtext!!!!

There are a few reasons for this, and they’re all (for the most part) rooted in homophobia. 1) There are those who (may or may not) notice the subtext, but ignore it with the excuse of “he’s too young; stop sexualizing him!”. All while shipping lumax, and mileven. Whether they want to admit it or not, this is homophobic! They view (subconscious or otherwise) being queer as inherently sexual, dirty, and adult. And that only straight relationships can be pure and innocent and based on compatible personalities. Straight kids can have innocent crushes (but in their eyes) queer kids can’t- they may not even exist, to them. 

 2) There are some mileven shippers (who whether they want to admit it) hate Will, because the possibility he has powers or is gay- threatens their precious het ship. Because a lot of them don’t see El as her own person (just a part of their ship) or a vessel for being a badass with powers. They don’t appreciate her for the nuanced character she is.  They either get angry at the idea of Will being gay or having powers, or are only happy with him being queer if he’s sad and in an unrequited one-sided love/ or is single forever. Or they’ll say “why don’t you just ship him with someone else… like Dustin?” Ignoring the fact Dustin hasn’t been queer coded like Mike (or had romantically coded scenes with Will), or that people ship byler for Will and Mike, not cause it’s simply m/m. I mean, can you imagine byler shippers saying ‘Just ship El with Dustin, it’s a guy and girl… it’s practically the same thing”? No, of course not! It shows their bias- and how they feel privileged and entitled to their straight ship even though there are millions of similar ships in media to choose from- unlike queer ships which are far and few in between. However, we’re supposed to be the ones who pick another option- and are told our ships are ‘all the same’. Whether they are aware of this bias, they consider queer ships a joke, and all the same.

3) Those who relate to Will and his struggles,  hate the idea of relating to a queer character. There is a reason why shows like ‘Will &Grace’ in the 90s were popular, but even today the second a character who people assumed was straight is revealed as lgbt+ viewers get angry! It’s because they feel ‘tricked’ into liking, relating and empathizing with a character that they would otherwise have immediately put in a ‘box’ and  distanced themselves from . Whether they are aware of it or not, they would immediately attribute stereotypes to them and never try to empathize with them, because ‘they’re gay, and ‘how can I relate to that’? They don’t want to relate to them (because subconscious or otherwise) they think being gay is bad or just too foreign.They don’t see queer people as full-fledged people. They’re just gay- nothing more.

Which is why when they angrily say “he’s just afraid to grow up, HE’S NOT GAY!”  They are essentially saying a gay, abused kid, who has ptsd, and was violated by the MF (and was also hinted m**ested by Lonnie too) can’t be afraid to grow up, since he lost his childhood. Only straight people have these type of human-fears and characterizations!

Forget the fact, that Will also wouldn’t want to grow up- because than he’d have to acknowledge his sexuality (at a time where all you heard about gay men was they were evil , mentally ill, going to hell and dying of aids as a punishment by god). Not to mention Will’s ptsd and the fact he lost 2 years of his childhood on top of that.He even says “I’m not … going to fall in love” (not convincingly) , right after the movie date with Mike.

4) They’re so used to straight media, and everyone being presumed straight and having media catered to them (the straight audience)- That they’ll ignore or miss every hint there is a queer character. 

So what are the hints of Will being gay (or at least- some other lgbt identity.

Called many homophobic slurs  since s1 ( specifically ”queer, fag, fairy, and gay”) by his dad and bullies. Jonathan in s1 tells Will to “not like things just because people tell you you’re supposed to, especially not him” ( ‘him’ referring to their dad). Is positioned behind a rainbow apple poster in the av room (ref. to Alan Turning the gay creator of computers), dances with a girl with a rainbow hair-clip, has rainbow bandaids, has his mom says she’s ”so proud” (lgbt+ pride ref) of the rainbow ship he drew . When Will disparages himself as a “freak”, Jonathan asks Will, who would you rather be friends with-  David Bowie (who was openly bi since the 70s) or Kenny Rogers? Will says Bowie, and Jonathan agrees saying “see, it’s no contest”. In the pitch to netflix the Duffers described Will as having “sexual identity issues”. In the leaked s2 snowball script it says “he’s not looking at the cute girl- but Mike.”

All of s2 directly paralleled ‘romantic s1 mileven scenes’ to ‘supposedly platonic byler scenes’. No joke, they had identical scenes, with almost identical framing and dialogue, but it’s all dismissed as friendship (even though the scenes are identical).Byler was also  paralleled to Jancy, Stancy, Jopper, bob/joyce and others. . You can headcannon Will as whatever you want, but like it or not- Will is queer and m/m! We could debate his exact queer sexual identity , but Will was never written and will never be written to be ‘straight’! Stay mad!

If Will was Wilma, the majority of the fandom would be byler shippers. Think about it! Mike having byler scenes that are identical to s1 mileven scenes, and then additional unique byler scenes. Mike staying by Wilma’s side 24 hours a day for several days (not even changing clothes), carrying her out of the hospital, grabbing her hand (with a zoom in shot),constantly asking her if she’s okay at least 5-7 times, putting his arm around her twice, being the only one who could tell something was off with her (and it wasn’t her normal type of quiet). Calling and running all the way to her house and banging on the door to check on her, desperate. Proclaiming “i’m the only one who cares about Wilma!” Watching her sleep cause he’s so worried, that shed scene reminiscing about how they first met in perfect detail, saying “I asked, I asked if you wanted to be my friend. You said yes, you said yes. It was the best thing I’ve ever done. (like a marriage proposal)”  The “crazy together” scene. Them being close since they were 5 vs the girl he knew for a week (but is somehow in love with?). If the witness said about El in s1 , “ same height… it could be the Byers girl”, instead of ‘boy’ (pointing out the resemblance). Mike getting into fights and getting upset (almost crying) about the bullies insulting Wilma. Mike having a whole binder of her drawings and caressing one of the drawings, after he thinks she died.  Being the only one of her friends to stay awake at the hospital, waiting for her to wake up- so he can see her and hug her first. Almost everyone would be team byler if Will was a girl- they probably would of started shipping it the second Wilma stared at him and was the only one who didn’t lie to him, in the first ep! Another parallel to El! 

And again think about s3 if Will was a girl.They paralleled the (comedic) mileven breakup vs (the sad/serious) byler breakup. Then Mike just complained and burped on the couch vs apologizing to Willma multiple times/even going into a storm to apologize a 2nd time (and to ‘talk’). Willma having a breakdown over the fight vs El laughing and high five-ing Max after.The shed vs the pool shed scene- “best thing I’ve ever done” vs “you’re the most important thing in the world to me”, “blank makes you crazy’ (as El stares confused) vs “crazy together’ (where Wilma says ‘yeah, crazy together). Mike going on ‘movie dates with Willma all the time’ right after making out with El. The last mileven kiss where Mike has his eyes open the whole time, doesn’t kiss back, and says he doesn’t remember saying “I love her” to El (and doesn’t say ‘I love you’ back). Right after having a talk with Wilma about playing games when she comes back (the crux of their fight). Mike getting excited that he’ll be able to visit El and Wilma on Thanksgiving and them visiting him on Christmas (those are holidays where family usually introduces their S.O.) Having the last scene of Mike,  be him looking back at Wilma’s house, and have that whole monologue in that scene be about “feelings changing”, and then he goes to hug his mom like the s1 byler scene where he thought Wilma was dead. And that’s not even all the scenes- and every time byler won by a landslide. If Will was a girl, it would be obvious writing on the wall, that Mike would eventually choose Wilma over El by the end of the series.

But since they are 2 boys, we’re delusional, because queer kids don’t exist … apparently.

Lore 100

That’s right. This is the 100th chapter in Bed, Belly, and Beyond. This is not including flashbacks however, so we’re a little further than that. I figured, I’d do a bit of a ‘Where are they now’ type thing, and visit most of our characters for one night. I didn’t create any art for it as too many circumstances and characters are involved. I hope you like it. That night, all was well. Dari and Fay had another Happy Day. But this one was a little different with Rheni around. As soon as Fay explained the situation, the Arrhenius man insisted on taking care of the kids that day. He solicited Milo's help with the ins and outs of a Happy Day, but mostly took on the responsibility himself. Fay was able to spend the entire day alone with Dari and they mostly just hung out in the bedroom watching movies and eating food Milo brought up for them. While he loved being with the kids, Fay really did miss these kinds of days alone with his husband. It felt like Dari was the only person he had to worry about and he had been so lonely before without him. Dari had expanded his world they had so much to look forward to together.

Lino and Vi went to a club for date night. Fay had informed his friend of a club that had just opened up run by and for non-humans. It wasn't exclusive, Lino was still allowed in, but it was like being straight at a gay bar. Vi was nervous about it, but Lino insisted they should try it since they'd hardly ever been to any outings like that. When they'd first met, the idea of a club like this seemed impossible. Everything about Vi's very existence was completely clandestine. They spent three weeks talking online before agreeing to meet and Fay had to give him clearance into APID, which involved a lot of security measures, and after descending what felt like a mile into the ground, Vi still tried to hide his true face under the human one he'd been working on. He wasn't very good at it yet though and Lino saw through it immediately, insisting on seeing his real self before they even started talking. He wasn't one for fairytales, but when spikes and horns grew from his dates face, Lino fell in love immediately. To think several years later, they'd be sitting at a club downtown, bopping their heads to a synth tune from Proxima Centauri, surrounded by unmasked extraterrestrials, like Han and Greedo at the Mos Eisley Cantina; they would've never thought it possible. Lino invited a young Pelavian to their booth. His name was Derris. Vi and Derris danced. Lino bought a round of drinks. Derris had a hotel room. Lino bought room service.

Dante watched Kidd while they were out. He didn't have Grey that day, so it was just the triplets and their cousin. Ruben and Yori did some Hanukkah shopping during the day, so Dante took the kids out to a movie so they had time to hide the presents. It was late when everyone got home so it was straight to bed. Dante called Dusty to say goodnight to Grey. In bed, Yori complained about how he wouldn't be able to transform once his pregnancy progressed further. Dante and Ruben were less sympathetic, considering he'd done it to himself. But they couldn’t help but give him belly rubs anyway.

After getting the herd to bed, Rheni started texting Camilo to see how he was doing. Camilo was awake and studying for his exams, but he welcomed the distraction and called Rheni to talk. He asked if Rheni was still keeping up with his online courses and if he was getting any work. The slime man admitted he’d fell behind work and learning for about a month after Camilo had left. He was working now though, and thankfully he was freelance and picked up a new project, he was just a little bit broke at the moment. More than anything, after Camilo, Rheni wanted to know how the baby was doing. Anything Camilo knew about her, he wanted to know it too. Camilo shared, but he didn’t think there was much to say. He sent over his ultrasound pictures, talked about how healthy she was every time he got checked up at the doctor. Technically, he wasn’t supposed to be getting health care for his pregnancy from APID, since none of the parties involved were non-human, so he’d been seeing his family doctor for check ups, but he still occasionally was seen by an APID doctor, Dr Gardi before and now Syd, just to continue the research into Rheni’s paternity. One annoying thing he learned was that in pregnancy communities online, if he searched ‘ftm pregnancy’ in any forum, it didn’t mean ‘female to male’ like he’d assumed, but instead ‘first time mom’. It didn’t do well to help him feel welcome, but he’d manage to find some information on other media, like YouTube and blogs, where pregnant transmen had done their own documentation, as if just for him. He couldn’t imagine being that open about it with the world, so he was very thankful for them and even reached out to them if he had any questions. After a bit, they got bored of chit chat and decided to stream the same movie together. Camilo loved sci-fi so they watched Spaceballs and went back to messaging while it ran. After the credits rolled, they were both very tired, so they said goodnight and got to sleep.

Dusty took Grey that day to visit Sydryn. It had been a couple months since Grey had seen the dragon and he was very excited when he saw them again. Syd had assisted in the delivery of Grey in their home and had helped Dusty (although very reluctantly) to raise the child for his first three years of life. In a way, Syd was like a third parent, and they made sure he was fed and cared for properly, despite their constant desire to be completely child free. They didn’t like children and they liked babies even less, but they were good with them and the only thing they had been particularly strict about was colour coordination and noise regulation. This was likely how Grey had become so quiet; Syd hadn’t encouraged speech development and questions as much as they probably should have. But they’d come to realise this now, and apologised to Dusty for it. Dusty forgave them and assured them that Grey’s time with Dante and the triplets had really done good to help him open up. Dusty was of the mind that Sydryn should consider raising their own children when they came because he was sure they’d be a good parent, but Sydryn banished the thought, reaffirming that they preferred to be alone, and even preferred the company of humans more than that of dragons, the latter of which their children would obviously be. In fact, they said, they’d rather raise one hundred children of any other species, than seven dragon hatchlings. They wished they’d never said that though since Dusty was able to use it to trap Sydryn into babysitting for him in the future. They stayed over at Syd’s for the night, eating a smorgasbord of meat cold cuts and fruit, before watching Pretty in Pink to get to sleep.

Dr Reid Gardi was recovering, but he still needed a lot of rest and without Köbi’s assistance, he was not able to wake up. When he was awake, he was delirious and didn’t think straight. He muttered things about faces and angels and dreams, but getting him to answer basic questions was difficult. The strangest thing was that his heartbeat had slowed to no more than a single beat per minute. He shouldn’t have been alive. But he lived. Sydryn considered he might’ve been like a vampire, but Nari was consulted and he assured them that this was not the case. Reid was never bitten, and those this state he was in was similar to the transition to a vampire, it was taking too long. He would’ve died already if he was turning into a vampire. He hadn’t gained any of the characteristics either, save for the paleness. It was still beyond them what was happening to him.

Nathan and Dax took the night slowly. Nathan prepared like he usually would for his transformation; he locked all his most important belongings away in the steel cabinets he’d been provided, ate as much as he could beforehand to help sate the wolf’s appetite, and used a hook to remove the lens caps from the surveillance cameras in the corners. Dax was a bit apprehensive about being surveilled at night, but he understood that Nathan gave consent to be observed while he was the wolf so that APID could intervene in case anything did go wrong during his transformation. Sydryn provided him the paperwork to sign to give his consent as well, and he just tried to ignore the cameras’ existences. The transformation occurred slowly that night. Nathan and Dax were talking about classes and how Dax was restructuring the French immersion programs for students with parents from off planet who might not be able to vocalise the same as a human. It started off as excessive hair growth and once he realised it was starting, Nathan asked Dax to help him undress then get as far away as possible. Dax obeyed and retreated to a corner of the room to watch. When the transformation was done, Dax was simply in awe, thankful to finally see the beautiful animal he'd roomed once before. The wolf was weary of him at first but he knelt down before the creature and stayed still. The wolf approached, sniffing and nudging at his clothes. Ect: Before her biological family’s passing, she was closest with one her four brothers, Andrew, who was closest to her in age at 21. She was relatively close with her other siblings, save for her sister, whom she is heavily estranged from. Her biological mother died when she was two, and her biological father abused her by exploiting her intellect and mutation set for his own gain, but it takes Ellie a while to recognize that. Post being adopted by Frank and Karen, she’s closer to Frank due to having spent more time with him, but she still loves Karen dearly.

Do they have a pet: In the “good ending,” they get a black and white pitbull named Oreo.

How do they usually wear their hair: Ellie’s hairstyle changes throughout the story/series. It’s longer at the beginning, then she shaves her head when Frank does (because she asks and he figures there’s no harm so he helps her shave her head), then grows it out longer on the top like he does in S2 of the Punisher, then wears it as an angled bob for S3 of Daredevil, and by the end of the story it’s about shoulder-length again. Eventually, she settles on switching between on longer on the top, shorter sides and the angled bob as her favorites.

Can they play an instrument? If so, what instrument and what can they play: The violin, and she plays just about anything on it.

What type a high schooler are/were they: Ellie graduated high school at the age of nine, so... yeah.

The Great Shift: Celebrities

On the first day Shiftmas my true love gave to me! A story about celebrities!

Some of the people that had the strangest times adapting to the great shift were celebrities. It’s tough going from a well known figure to an unknown name again. However, some did come to enjoy their new bodies.

“Danny! Are you ready on set?” came the voice of the director. “I am ready director mam, I just hope this outfit doesn’t show off my massive schlong.” The rest of the studio just rolled their eyes. Sure it was great that Danny was able to rejoin the cast for this upcoming sitcom, but his crude jokes were getting a bit annoying. The director just rolled her eyes. “A person can only take so many Always Sunny references,” she muttered as she walked away in a huff. Danny merely laughed at his own joke as he sat back on the couch, ready for someone to yell ‘action!” In his old body he was never much of a looker. He’d relied soley on his comedy and wit in order to land a gig.. Sure he’d made a name for himself, but now he was someone new. He was a lot taller before now being  average height of 5′10 and could now wear clothes that people would find attractive. It’s been months since the shift and he still couldn’t get over his slim and handsome new body. No more balding hair, no more aching body, and a lot more looking people in the eye instead of looking up.  This kid he’d shifted into was some YouTuber or something, but was a nobody compared to Danny.  Oh well. The next time you’d see this face it’ll probably be on that new PrimeTime show and after that thought he couldn’t stop smiling. 

Margaret was a comedian by trade. For most of her life people kept telling her to settle for certain roles. However, those words never held her back. She refused to be type cast, she broke down barriers in the business, and rewrote the norms for what it meant to be a person of color in the media. She didn’t have the “industry” standard of beauty back then, but now? Now she had a body very few could ignore. 

“Now Margret, i have so many questions for you.” Ellen asked her for her show’s interview segment. “You are a completely different person since we last met. You’ve decided to write a new book, you’ve been doing modeling on the side, AND what’s this i hear about you being in that new movie?” 

Margret just laughed. “Well yes, my new book is coming out this Christmas and it’s called What the Shift! Basically tells the story of my first couple days as the new me. I mean it was all a rush. Waking up in your underwear in a stranger’s house? I mean sure that was just another Tuesday night for me, but being a 6′3 Indian man with a rocking body, that was new!”

“I’ll say!” Ellen replied. “Waking up as John Cena was no walk in the park for me either! But let’s get back to you. You’re back making new material! That’s gotta be strange given your new look.”

She nodded knowingly. “Yeah for sure. I mean as a male model and actor now it’s all been such a ride. Interviewers ask me the more serious questions, I get to be more serious in my movie while still playing the funny character, and best of all no more cramps down there. Needless to say that I’m finding it a lot easier to focus on my work. Plus I’ve even made some time in my life for... love.”

The audiences “ooooo”s at the news.

“Yes yes. I’m sure you all know by now Rosie O’Donnel and I are dating. It’s odd that we both swapped into gay men, but hey we’re not complaining!”

Ellen only blushed as she imagined those two together. “Well we’ve got to cut to commercial break, but when we’re back Margret is going to take off her shirt!”

Today was interesting. I caught myself off guard by realizing how easily a person can get influenced by another. My cousin and I have been discussing family a lot and it feels guilty because there’s so many mistakes, mess and drama. I feel like I definitely over spilled the beans. I need to learn how to stay civil like this is not the best, I know this because it didn’t feel the best but also that my mom sent me a long paragraph explaining how I need to be mature enough to see a world through my win lens and not always be influenced by others, even if they have more votes, my opinion should be entitled to myself and not bias. Bias is a bitch.

I read about Poland springs and how the water they promise us from the springs of Maine doesn’t even have “a drop of fresh water” and Nestle got a lawsuit worth $5millll like bro serves you right we out here drinking tap water lmaooo are we kidding ourselves? Is it really false advertising? Because the last I remember ain’t nobody getting an entire carton of water for like $4? And the plastic, manufacturing, transport, and resources used to get the water itself probably costs so much more. And we’re being promised fresh water from the springs. But why would they give out fresh water from the springs? Who even are we kidding. Isnt water supposed to be worth much more? I thought there’s a war that’s going to happen on water. Shit’s precious!!!

Either ways, I was so bored that right after I actually opened Omegle. No not for any perverted business but because I just wanted to talk to someone. Anyways I came across an 8 year old who told me her boyfriend probably cheated on her and when I asked what? She said yeah haven’t spoken to him in 2 years. I had to control my laughter so hard and I just said “well if you haven’t talked to him in 2 years chances are he probably talked to someone else.” And now as I write this I realized damn, I just gave a little girl advice way too much for her maybe. She dipped faster than a wizard, b knows Whatsup, confrontational issues and shihhh. Then I came across this 19 year old girl from West Virginia who told me her parents left her with her grandmother along with her two younger siblings. They’re drug addicts. I felt kind of really bad because when I confessed I’m glad I saw her face and not a 40y/o’s dick she laughed and said “I just wanted to talk” and I felt that. We both reached out for our puff bars and simultaneously took turns to spill. She told me her dad doesn’t give a shit. We were so chill, no omg I’m sorry to hear that shit. Because let’s be real, you don’t need to be sorry. This is my life, if anything I just want God to feel sorry. Sorry as in, I’m sorry you is sad :( here are your dreams and goals in your hands ta-da. I wish. I felt bad for the girl, the internet kept twitching so I just closed the tab. An 8 y/o and a 18 y/o girl I’ll never speak to again. She told me so much about herself but we never told each other our names. Just our pain? Her boyfriend was a scum bag. Ex boyfriend. Well, I kept silent because I felt like she was being really open. I will never talk to her again. Feels so weird?

That is our generations summary of emotional connection. Short. Like all the fkn boys in my school in FPS like fam just grow up literally lmao jk. Am I? Nah. Anyways I also ditched a friend so brutally I feel bad. They booked an air bnb in front of Central Park and got food and zaza and everything but I chose to meet my best friend his mom and sister, he knew I’m no way interested in him at all. He’s actually always been this genuine. Man’s took the biggest L for us. While Yaldram, rhyme and i walked to his place, he took out a joint and lit it up. Mind it, ain’t legal. A cop literally took a u turn and Yaldram passed it to him cause he was shutting his pants and this dude said yeah give it to me nothings going to happen. BUT SOMETHING HAPPENED.

the cop showed up and asked if that’s weed and rhyme said yes. Holy shit at this point he stretched his arm out and asked for it again and he said no it’s just weed bro, then he reached out called 4 other cop cars by pressing a button (for backup) and I finally said “just listen to him man”. It was embarrassing, people walking past kept looking. Anyways he took all the blame, honestly I just took one puff and was not onboard with the idea to begin with, not even 3 minutes ago I was reminding them how that’s illegal.

He got a ticket, and then I met Yaldram’s mom for the first time and I think I made it so weird because of all what had just happened, was so anxious but whatever. Met his sister and will meet her again tomorrow even though he won’t be there. That makes me happy. I’m welcomed.

However, it was 11:35 pm and I really had to leave cause metro closes at 12am and I realized now it’s too late to go to the air bnb. I didn’t go for two reasons. 1) it’s an airbnb with one guy and stoned? Yeah kinda not the best situation to put myself in. 2) 1

But I felt really bad, this guy rhyme said nothing. He went full MIA for more than a year and doesn’t speak to anyone and didn’t even get back on social media but reached out to me and met me and actually did all this and at the end said bro it’s no worries I’ll drop you, paid for my metro djdnt even let me Venmo (or give me his # or Venmo) only contacts on insta. I didn’t tell anyone I met him because I have to respect his privacy. I apologized a few hours ago because lastnight I said sorry and just that sorry about the food. Because he ordered food there already. But in the morning he told me that I’m a gem of a person and don’t realize that. Like why are you being so nice to me? I can suspect he has a soft spot for me and I have made boundaries and this friendship completely platonic the moment it happened. And he then told me remember the first time we met? ( I didn’t )

It was 2 years ago at a party where I was crying talking to my ex after 2 years of the break up. And this guy randomly walks upto me asks me if I’m okay and gives me water. Mind you no one in a party gives a fuck. Especially that party. And especially my tears against his. It was politically warm? I don’t even know. So that guy who saw me then, came to surprise me on my 21st birthday from NY with the goodies (so illegal) and then ended up meeting my other ex and Yaldram him and I roamed around Boston. It was fun because of my friends. And I was fkn stoned. But yeah and then he looked at me yesterday at the metro and laughed saying “you’ve grown beautifully” I get ceeped out super fast but with this dude I dont. Everhone (including me) thought he’s bi or gay because every time there’s a good looking man he’d say “wow he’s beautiful” but he’s straight he said and also I realized maybe he just speaks his mind. He asked me of the rumors I heard and I told him it was 1) stealing 2) gay and he was like who tf said I’m gay bro, and then he said the guy in front was cute, and then he said “that’s so gay” and laughed. So see? This is a very unusual man. But I had to be home regardless because a) arham b) 12:35am was a perfect time to be home. I don’t like staying out too late anymore? It feels weird. Unsafe perhaps.

However I apologized properly finally. Explaining myself. Saying that I get defensive when I’m high and that the metro closes at 12am but even though the original plan was Yaldram him and I meeting at the place he booked but Yaldram couldn’t show up so I made us go to him instead and we used the time up in getting him his first ticket and in letting me meet my friend before he goes.

I will never forget this man, he told me two of his best friends died that’s why he’d never want his friends to be in any type of trouble. And you know what’s weird about it all? He literally took all the blame in a heart beat with a calm smiley face and I know he’s the one who’s the real gem because not once did he complain or remove that smile off of his face. There was also supposed to be a surprise there but I won’t know anymore. I didn’t ask either.

Writing this made me realize, I want to live harder. I want to be a gem ( no tickets ) but I want to be a gem in my own eye where I can adore myself and allow others to too, and adore them back. Oh and there was also a drunk girl after the whole popo incident who was so sus she acted drunk and said I look like Ariana grande “petit, long hair, big eyes, trust me girl you’re good” and in my head I thought yikes these are the beauty standards in her head which are normalized and thst made me realize oh no she thinks she isn’t good enough does she? Well I hope she does. But also she was sus just weird, walked with us for so long then disappeared then 14 minutes later found myself again running into her at a grocery store by his house?? And she acted as if she never saw me before so I was like oh...

Anyways it’s 1:54 am and I’m glad I wrote today. I’m glad for today, today I was a little less sadder. Particularly because I complained less, tomorrow I’ll try harder.
