It had been supposed to be another great year that had come to a close for you. Every year, without fail Tony would throw you a party, but this year he was preoccupied with his family. He hadn't even had the time to send you a text.

That hurt, but you new infants were a lot of work so you gave him and Pepper that pass, but as you entered the communal kitchen you found yourself disappointed again. You'd been used to waking up to the smell of a homemade breakfast made by your best friend, but this year Wanda was off to Cannes with Vis for an impromptu trip, she too had forgotten to text.

The remainder of the team had seemingly also forgotten, each one just hanging around the compound and your lover was off on a mission so you couldn't fault her for the lack of text.

So, there you sat, on your shared floor with a pint of whatever frostbitten ice cream was left in your freezer as you watched Friends reruns and cried into your couch cushions as Rachel and Ross fought over the terms of a "break".

The show continued on, laugh tracks sounding off, even when it wasn't really that funny but your focus had since shifted to your dry phone. When you realized no one would remember now as it'd already reached noon you settled into the loneliness and slipped off into a nap.

Natasha was stressed to the max on a quinjet, pacing back and forth as Clint flew them home. She'd been gone for two weeks now, and she told Fury that there was no way she'd miss your birthday. It was too important to her that the two of you at least have time to celebrate.

Your life was the most important thing to her, so of course the day of your birth was as well.

So he sent in some agents to replace them as the bulk of the work had been completed and all that was really left was the clean up. There was no reason to extend what had already been extended from a weekend away to two weeks.

When they landed she rushed off the jet and went straight to the common area. She was softly panting from the exertion, but her breathing slowed to nothing as she surveyed the room. Steve and Bucky sat on opposite ends of the couches reading, while Sam and Peter were on the ground, the former one cursing as they played a round of Mario Kart.

"What the hell is going on in here?" Clint's eyes widened as he walked in as Natasha growled. The men in the room looked to her confused, the youngest of them all was the first to speak. "We're having a chill day Mrs. Romanoff."

"Wrong answer," Clint tossed out before rushing out of the room to debrief with Hill as he promised Natasha he'd do for her sake.

"Now why would you be doing that Parker?"

"Natasha, we don't have the energy for your riddles, so speak your peace," Bruce boldly piped up from the corner he'd been sat in.

"Banner, I suggest you leave now," she gritted, her fists bunched up, and the scientist lost all of his bite when he remembered the Hulk wasn't going to be on his side. He soon left with his head down and metaphorical tail tucked.

Which was the best gift your wife could honestly offer: his disappearance. He'd been nothing but bitter since you two got together.

"What's wrong Nat?" Bucky asked, much softer and genuine. Of all people here he'd be granted a pass as he'd not been here in the years prior.

"I'm just wondering where the decorations are, and why my wife isn't here surrounded by the people who she celebrates joyously every year."

Expressions of guilt, and trepidation overtook the entirety of the limited team members faces.

"Friday, where's Y/N?" Natasha asked, only adding salt to the wounded men as she replied: "Asleep upstairs on your couch, it appears she had cried herself to sleep about a half hour ago. Shall I wake her for you Agent Romanoff?"

"No, please do let me know if she wakes up." Friday agreed, and she shifted her attention back to the men who'd all stood to their feet.

Natasha's heart had sank at the notion of you feeling the way you did, as if you were easily overlooked, and not valued, so she knew she needed to fix the mess everyone had made.

"Peter, swing to the bakery at once and return with a tray of those cupcakes." The young boy looked defeated, your wife didn’t hold this against him, on account that he was a kid, but she didn’t waver with her glare and that got him to scramble to activate his suit and leave.

“Wilson, Rogers, and Barnes, go decorate the garden, leave behind your generous gifts, then stay out of sight for the rest of the day."

The redhead then shot off texts to everyone else to scold them just in case they too forgot. Then she took off to the gym lockers so she could freshen up without having to enter your shared floor and risk waking you up just yet.

After she changed from her suit into a pair of shorts and a muscle tee she set off to collect you for a day of last minute, but proper plans. The guys had just finished their part, and left to Wilson's apartment so she could fix the day.

As she entered your shared space she was greeted by an obnoxious laugh track, your melted ice cream and your sleeping form.

Natasha took a minute to survey the scene, and after a moment of admiring you her heart effectively broke as she eventually saw the dampened fabric of your couch. If not for her desire to celebrate your birth she'd be stealthily bringing an end to all that made you this sad.

With a quiet, determined step she moved about your shared floor, cleaning up the mess you'd been accumulating ever since she left. Then she settled a kiss to your cheek as she shut off the TV before venturing off down the hallway to run you a warm tub full of water. After she set the place up with a sprinkling of gifts, and a whole lot of love she’d set off to collect you.

To her luck you'd just groggily sat up, she found it funny that the silence is what woke you up as you'd just been snoring through Friends only a half an hour prior. "Natty?"

"Good morning sleepy head," she teased as she moved out of the hallway and into your sight. There was a dullness to your gaze as you tiredly surveyed her, not subtle at all as you looked her over for wounds, then again to check her out.

Natasha smirked, and began to approach you, she settled down beside you and cupped your cheek. There was a glimmer of hope in your gaze, and she spoke fast, making sure not to crush it. "Happy Birthday moya lyubov'."

"You remembered?" You sobbed, a bit dramatic you'd realize later, because of course she did, but in the moment you felt relieved. "Oh detka, how could I ever forget such an important day, hm? It's my most treasured."

Her lips pressed to your cheeks, catching the tears that slipped through your lashes, then they traversed the expanse of your face until they finally landed on your own as she pulled your body into her lap in one swift motion.

"Why's my pretty girl up here alone on her most special of days, hm?" Natasha knew, but she wanted to try and get your perspective and see the best possible way to change it. "Because everybody forgot Natty," you hiccuped as you burrowed into her neck. "Except for Friday."

Natasha hummed, her body slowly rocked yours in an attempt to hopefully soothe you as her own blood boiled with pure contempt.

"My sources say there was a cosmic fluke on Wanda's behalf, because she adores you so."

Natasha prayed for her sake this was true, because though she'd lose in a fight with the unfair advantage of powers, she wouldn't refrain from smacking her around anyways.

"The rest were simply forgetful idiots, but they felt terrible and have started the apology train," she decided to be honest, forgoing her initial plan to lie to protect your feelings. The men didn't deserve such shielding, they instead deserved to stew in their guilt for eternity.

"I-I don't mean to be dramatic Natty," you sniffled, "But I never forget anyone, why would they forget me? I just want the same in return."

"I understand detka, it's fair to expect," she agreed with a soft tone, "I just want you to know I would never forget, I only didn't text because I was racing home to surprise you."

"I know you would never forget honey, some years it's you who has to remind me," you giggled, and it instantly brought a smile to your lovers face to see you already perking up.

"Well, in the spirit of such a monumental occasion I have ran a tub for you, and set out a new outfit for you to slip into for our plans."

Your head whipped back from its place on her shoulder, face instantly lighting up, "Plans?"

Natasha shook her head with a fond smile, her fingers then raised up to her lips to imitate a zipper and so you whined: "Natty please?"

"Detka, I want it to be exciting, so go get ready and meet me in the garden when you're done."

The two of you stood to your feet, reluctantly moving apart, but before you fully separated your wife pulled you in for a passionate kiss.

"Take your time, and relax your mind Y/N." She pecked your lips a final time, then left.

As you entered your room your heart swelled at the sight of the outfit she'd bought, you'd been eyeing the fit for awhile, and of course she had been watching you just the same. Nothing was ever going to get by your super spy of a wife.

Once you finished your soak, with a new set of body products, you slid out and into the new royal green cropped sweater vest, and skirt. Then after handling your skincare routine you skipped all the way to the garden where you found your wife stood there patiently waiting.

Natasha subtly gulped at the sight of you, and for a moment the both of you remained silent as you looked the other over. She had changed from her casual locker attire into a loose fit black button up polo, with a pair of grey slacks. It was a simple choice, but still deeply alluring as her arms managed to bulge out the stretchy fabric, and her pants were form fitting enough that you could admire her toned behind.

Once you reeled in your devious gaze you were reduced to a woman on the verge of another breakdown. There stood your wife with a bouquet of black roses, and honeysuckles. It had become her goal to pick you meaningful flowers, and the contrast in bright colors meant to symbolize eternal love, intermixed between the more dark, morbid version of the classic rose was for an that leads to a beginning.

In the moment your curiosity was peaked, but you settled on letting the day play out before you sought out clarity. Your wife was cunning, and never moved without a plan, and you were never one to doubt her so you'd easily wait.

Natasha's free hand hung in the air, beckoning you to approach her, and as you accepted she swiftly pulled you into her body. She lowered the bouquet, allowing you the chance to smell the unique combination before she set them in a vase on the center of the decorated table.

“You look gorgeous love.” Natasha blushed, and softly huffed, “That was my line detka.”

As you giggled mischievously into her chest she gave the nervous spider-teen who was lingering on the side of the compound a thumbs up from behind your back. Peter lowered the pink box, and white bags onto the table with his webs, then as previously instructed he vanished.

“He’s just a kid Natty,” you called your wife out as you tried to pull away from her, but she kept your bodies connected with a hand on your lower back, as her lips sought your warmth.

Once satisfied she let you go, eyes admiring the way that yours stayed shut an extra beat, you always took a moment to recover, even when it was just a peck on the lips. You swore you’d never get used to the feeling of hers against yours. It was electrifying, and no matter how brief there was never a lack of love to be found.

Once you shakily breathed out through your nose, and your eyes fluttered open you were met with your wife who was patiently waiting. Natasha pursed her lips, then doubled down. “That’s true Y/N, that’s why I still let him see you, but he also has a phone with a calendar.”

You knew not to push it, because in the end she wasn’t wrong. Instead you thanked the boy via text, and put your phone in dnd, no longer caring about the sudden influx of well wishes, as your greatest one to be was sat before you.

Natasha handed you a sandwich, and then after listening to you animatedly tell her stories of the guy’s stupidity, she reflected back and told you all about Clint’s on their mission. Then as if having the power to summon him, the man was beside you with a candle and a lighter.

“Happy Birthday Y/N/N,” he greeted with a grin and a stubbly kiss to your temple. “The kids made you this,” he passed you a paper with the whole Barton family on it, and right to the side of them was you in Nat’s arms with Liho on your shoulder. Then he passed you an envelope, “And Laura purchased you this.”

While Natasha pulled out a gorgeous cupcake decorated to look like a peony you tore it open.

“Oh my gosh, no way!” You shrieked, “We’re going with them to Disneyland Natty!” She met your enthusiasm with a nervous chuckle, then seamlessly blew passed her anxieties as she lit the solo candle and began to sing. Clint joined her in the celebratory tune, but fortunately for you your wife’s melodic voice carried the tune.

Clint slipped off a moment later, with a to go container of various flower inspired cupcakes, then Natasha guided you to her sports car. It never ceased to make your heart flutter when she naturally moved to buckle you in. There was never a time in your whole entire time knowing her that she didn’t do this. It was actually how you realized she liked you in the way you did her. Because once you actually saw how she unbuckled Tony’s for him in contrast.

“Where are we going?” Natasha shook her head and chuckled softly, “Stop asking baby girl, you know I’m a steel fortress with this stuff.”

You grumbled all the way, until you saw the arcade, with Yelena and Kate grinning outside. Natasha couldn’t contain her laughter as you raced from the car and into her sisters arms. The blonde spun you around, then after you were back on the ground Kate pulled you in.

“Come on Y/N,” Yelena shrieked, “We must play as many games as possible. The final winner gets the crown in Kate Bishop’s hand.

You raced off with a shout of: “Game on!”

“Thanks for coming so last minute, I know you just got home from an undercover mission,” Natasha genuinely said, and the archer turned to her with a tired smile. “It was the least we could do, plus, look at how happy they are.”

Natasha did look, her eyes hardly ever left you to begin with, but in moments like these, where you were in the middle of unbridled joy, she especially wanted to be a spectator. Seeing you and Yelena playing like little kids always made her heart soar, and her mind run with dreams.

Of a future similar to this moment, but with house parties and summer barbecues. It was all she wanted, and she reckoned it was time you two got started on the rest of your journey. So, after about an hour of free fun, where you beat Lena in the final game, reigning you champ she called out to you both to say it was time to go.

“You’re welcome for letting you win,” Yelena angrily said, making you giggle as you realized she most certainly did no such thing. Her eyes narrowed, but a grin soon overtook her face as you yanked her into a goodbye hug. “Thank you for coming out to celebrate my birthday.”

“I will never miss a chance to beat you at air hockey Y/N Romanoff.” Her arms tightened, and she softly whispered: “Happy Birthday.”

“Okay, let’s wife swap now.” Natasha’s tone was playful, but a spark of jealousy was easily detected. “Hold your panties Natalia. Y/N is all yours. Also Kate Bishop is my fiancé, not wife.”

“She’ll be your was with that attitude,” you teased as you shifted to say goodbye to the archer. Who, as was her job, coronated you the ‘Arcade Supreme’ just before slipping you a gift bag then taking off with her grumbling fiancé.

“We’ve got a few more stops detka.” Natasha escorted you back to the car, then the rest of the adventure unfolded as she took you to all of your favorite places. Including the cat cafe where she surprised you with an adoption.

You’d been begging for months to get Liho a girlfriend, but then you ended up getting a male orange tabby, with a missing eye. “He looks kinda like Fury, let’s take him to shield!”

“Detka, I want to live a long life with you,” she teased as you held the cat up. “Stop tempting your fate with the doppelgänger of our boss.”

“At least you agree with me,” you huffed, then set the cat back down before letting your wife take you out of the cafe with the promise of returning in the morning for the little fella.

“You think Liho will mind that his girlfriend is a boy?” You shrugged, smirking around the straw of your frappe. “Love is love Natty.”

It was encroaching evening now, so you’d figured that the night was coming to a close, but when your wife passed the exit for the compound you realized her plan was ongoing.

With the windows rolled down, and your hand interlocked with your wife’s as she drove you across city lined you began to realize the burden of your depressing start had dissipated. The tension in your body melted away, and in a show of direct appreciation you brought her knuckles up to your lips and kissed them.

“What was that for?” You were looking out the window at the vast greenery of New York, but you could hear her smirking and had to fight off the urge to roll your eyes. “Do I need a reason to show you, my dear wife, affection?”

Natasha hummed thoughtfully, “I suppose not, but if you were saying thanks, I’d also like the same gesture deposited upon my lips please.”

Just as much as you were left a total mess after each kiss, she was left with an insatiable need for more. If she had it her way you’d never part. Her lips would be against yours all day, and if not there, at least somewhere on you.

Before you could even consider her proposal the redhead had pulled over abruptly, the blur of greenery was now more clear to you, and a feeling of serenity washed over you at the view.

“Where are we love?”

Your wife was nervous, something she rarely ever felt, and never let anyone see. Today is going to change the trajectory of your life for good, and she just hopes you’re happy with it.

“Home.” You furrowed your brows as you whipped your head around to meet her gaze after processing the word she’d just blurted. Seeing her nervous smile upon doing so made you lose the frown of confusion. A much softer crease overtook your face as you matched her smile as best you could. “What do you mean?”

“Here.” Natasha unbuckled herself, then she hopped out and gently pulled you from the car. “I, well actually, Tony and I have been working together on this for awhile now.” You cut her off with a gasp of genuine surprise, “You and Stark have been working together and he gets to live to tell others about it?” Natasha rolled her eyes, but before she could clarify you gasped again, this time with a horrified look.

“Oh my gosh Natty, did you kill him?” Her face fell into one of pure mortification. “What? No!”

You cast her an unbelieving glance, but then you lost your edge, tone obviously teasing, “Maybe that’s why he didn’t text me today…”

Natasha glared at the notion, and vowed to trip the wires in his suit for such a slight. Then she remembered his hologram that was waiting for you with birthday wishes beyond the hedges.

“Detka, please focus,” she chided, then pulled on your hand until you were just beyond the greenery, and stood before a gorgeous home. The walls were painted a blue tinted grey, with black trimmings, and it was two stories tall.

“This is,” she began, but you cut her off with a squeal, “Our home? Are we finally…” Natasha cut you off next, “Yes, we only have one final mission detka. To settle down for good now.”

“I love you so much Natasha!” She gladly took you into her arms for a hug, then before you could protest she scooped you up like she did on your wedding day, and ran the both of you beyond the threshold of the home. Her lips slammed to yours in the heat of the moment, but the kiss was weak as neither of you could refrain from smiling like idiots. “I love you too Y/N, more than I ever dreamed possible.”

When the night came to a close a few hours later, you heard your phone ding just as your eyes had shut. You begrudgingly peeked an eye back open. "Happy Birthday Y/N/N, I had no service, but I promise you a stack of chocolate chip pancake's when I return on Monday. ❤️"

You smiled, grateful for Wanda's gesture, albeit late it was much better than never at all. All you ever wanted was to have a group of people to love you the same way you'd loved them.

With Natasha pressed into you from behind, an arm wrapped tightly around you as she snored softly you knew without a doubt that you were at the very least loved with reciprocity by her.

Popped real quick out of indefinite hiatus just because I saw the change from "neutral about Neuvillette" to "am i aCTUALLY GETTING BRAINWASHED ABOUT LIKING HIM NAUUUUGHH??" and let me tell you Miss Rin, it's only a matter of time before you could accept that fact 😔 but really, what's another doting husband among your protective and possibly possessive harem? Okay, so it's officially been a year since I started playing, and I was wondering if I wanted to do something for it...or even if I could do something, but I eventually came up with the idea to go over my squad in order of first acquiring them, all the way to the present

(I swear to Terra, if I get something notable from free pulls before this comes up, I'm gonna explode)

...So uh, I wanted to have Mudrock and Surtr in the same picture, but they were too far apart for that, so screw it, I'm going with two pictures at once here! Anyways, in case you didn't know, I got into this game because of Mudrock and waited until she was rate-up before rerolling, and this is basically what I ended up with. Crazy thing, I actually got her twice in the same 10 roll, so I got to enjoy her with -1 DP cost immediately! And then when I went to pull more in hopes of getting Surtr (who was the shoperator at the time) I immediately got her from a single headhunting ticket! Amazing!! And yeah, that's why I wanted them in the same picture together.

Anyways, you can also see Angelina and Bagpipe there. Angelina was from the Newbie pool, and like Mudrock I also got two of her. But...meh, I didn't really feel like building her up too much. I did e1 her, but honestly, if I got her much later on, she'd probably be sitting in e0 Purgatory. Bagpipe, on the other hand, was the first 6* I got from a Top Operator tag, and that was a heck of a lucksack! I actually got her twice total from recruits, and then another pot from the CC shop. Two more pots and she'll be epic!

so uh, anyone else in those two screenshots...Oh, Utage? I got her that early?? Dang, never realized she was with me for as long as Mudrock XD. Also Myrtle is also e2, but I think pretty much everyone has e2d her, if only for access to e2 supports. Perfumer and Cuora were much later e2s, sometime after Il Siracusano, I think? Oh yeah, I guess Indra is a bit notable in how she's a recruit-exclusive 5*, but that's it.

Hmm, a bit less things of note here. Lumen was very recently promoted to e2, although I did neglect to get his potentials since I was a bit preoccupied with getting Mudrock to e2. At least his event should rerun real soon. Meteor, Cliffheart, Courier, and Ethan I promoted to e1 since I've seen guides use them pretty often. Gavial I kinda quickly fell in love with after her Alter came out, so that was definitely a waifu e2 there! Saria tho, oh boy. She's so freaking awesome! Definitely one of my best recruit lucksacks!

Now, I think it was around this time where CC#9 started. I had Surtr that I've seen Risk 18 strats for, and I've seen strats that used Horn, so I basically fused those two strats together so I could use easier risks overall.

...Ah, funny that the three e2s on this image are those three. Anyways, Exusiai was, yet again, another recruit lucksack, and she does so much damage! Well, so long as the enemies don't have too much defense, but there's ways to make up for that. Texas was from the pinboard missions, nothing unusual there. Lappland was from the 5* selector new players get, and I got her because man, having her earlier would've made SN so much less painful...but also, just having her in general is nice. Also, Elysium I got as my guarantee 5* when pulling on a banner that had him, so that was pretty sweet.

Hoo boy, here we go. Imma be real, when I first saw Sideroca, my mind instantly went "I have to get her" and, well, she's the welfare operator from the W event, so of course I did. Also, you might think it's funny that Gavialter and Blaze are right next to each other. Well, I rolled a bit on the banner in hopes of getting Chalter (Not that hard tho, since the odds weren't exactly in my favor) and I ended up getting Gavialter. As for Blaze...shoperator. Even after rolling Gavialter. XD. I just think she's cute! Also, Click was promoted because the event made me realize how weak my caster game was at the time, so I thought I'd e2 her as a sort of budget option. Wasn't really ready to promote Amiya at the time, so this had to be an acceptable compromise.

(If you're wondering why I didn't mention Amiya before...did I really need to? Everyone has to promote her in order to complete chapter 8. That's just how it is.)

Oh right, around this time was when the first Trials for Navigator event started. I...can't quite recall if I did Ultimate TN-4, but I'm pretty sure I got all the rewards at least, so there's that.

Oh, and there's also CC#10. I...barely remember what I did, and past me didn't exactly do a good job of actually posting the clear screen of risk 18. Man, they really dropped the ball on that. I definitely baited the cannon with Mudrock tho, no way am I gonna forget her pivotal role there!

OKAY, I'M LOOKING OVER MY SCREEN AND THE SCREENSHOTS I TOOK AND I COMPLETELY MISSED BLUE POISON! Ugh, she deserves better than to be skipped over, though to be fair, I was trying to focus on getting all my 6*s screenshotted at least, but anyways, she's e2 as well.

Anyways, Jaye there is e2, my first male e2 actually, and Ptilopsis I actually got from the 5* selector we got last anniversary (I think I'm gonna go for Warfarin with the next one btw, not like I can lucksack her in headhunting outside of kernal) and she's been very helpful! Astgenne, the welfare from the seemingly mythical Dorothy event, was so cute I couldn't not e2 her! Pinecone I e2'd cuz I was coping about not having Chalter, and Hibiscus Alter I e2'd cuz purple hair is too good! As for Fartooth...I considered building her, heck I even promoted her to e1, but I just have too many other operators that I would rather build.

Hoo boy, this. This is undoubtedly the start of where my power skyrocketed! Let's get the elephant in the room out of the way, I originally wasn't gonna go for Mlynar, but I decided that I might as well go until a 6* (though my track record tends to go otherwise if I don't get a good result) and I thankfully got him, and oh boy has he been integral in a lot of my hard clears! Nightingale...right, I got her and Fartooth from the standard banner with Saga and Mountain cuz those were both 6*s I had an interest in. Well, unlike Fartooth, I actually built her (though it was long after pulling her) and she's been pretty helpful keeping my team alive through heavy arts damage. Also Proviso I promoted to e2 and it had nothing to do with her base skill and everything to do with how cute she is XD. Whislash I was absolutely dying to get so you bet your bottom dollar I e2'd her almost immediately! Ifrit I got from yellow cert shop, and she's been pretty helpful when I can make good use of her. Chen I just happened to get with a Top Op + Nuker combo cuz why not? Didn't like my other options at the time much. Mostima, unfortunately, was a Top Op recruit that I didn't want cuz I wanted Ceobe, but oh well.

Anyways, if Mlynar wasn't enough, how about the time I pulled FREAKING SKALTER WHILE BREAKING PITY AFTER SPARK? Like, she would've been my spark if I had lucksacked Nearl Alter, so that's basically the same exact event in my mind. Anyways, aside from her, I didn't get any off-rates in that banner, so I was left with 2 Penance and 4 Texas Alters from that banner. Ceobe, as I mentioned, was a huge want for me, so I of course got her from the yellow cert shop, and then Horn was from the 6* selector at that time, and she's also been super helpful for me since then. Especially for IS#3, dear lord is she good against the first endboss there.

Right, this is around when CC#11 started. Risk 18 was absurdly easy that I didn't even need a guide for that (though my huge spike in power was also a factor.) I did push for higher risk though, and ended up with risk 25.

Almost getting towards the end here. Mizuki was a spook from the Gnosis banner (I primarily wanted Aurora) and, while he may not be the best 6* I could've got, I still wanna e2 him real soon. Kal'tsit was from yellow cert shop (which was during that absolutely horrific time period of Yostar forgetting Saga exists) and Magallan was just a random Top Op roll. Not building her, too small brain to use her well. Mountain was from the gamma headhunting ticket, and he was the one I wanted the least, but I still wanted him...even if my post at the time didn't look like I did I am an unappreciative jerk but anyways, it turned out to be for the better that I got him over Pozyomka. Lin was an absolute lucksack from free rolls on the banner, and I actually went out of my way to e2 her during the event! Lava Alter I e2'd cuz again, purple hair. Then there's Eyja, who was another yellow cert grab. Do I need to say anything about her? She's been the top Caster in the game since Day 1, with only Goldenglow being a possible threat to that title! (though for top caster in my heart, that title belongs to Ceobe XD)

I think both Trials for Navigator 2 and CC#12 were well after this, but the later operators I got weren't that important for that, so I'll just go over them here. Except...I barely remember what I did for TN#2. I just know that I did the Ultimate trial, so there's that. CC#12 though, my memory's a bit more clear on that. I did some strategizing for a few risks above 18, then changed them a bit to get even higher, all the way up to 26, exceeding CC#11 by a single risk! I honestly feel proud about that!

And now we have reached the present day. Rosa and Pozy both spooked me during the Yato Alter banner, the latter of which I built up quickly. And oh boy, is she super powerful! Even in the current event, she's been integral in dealing with the boss super quickly in my auto deploy setup! But Rosa sadly will take a backseat while I wait for Typhon, because believe you me, there's no timeline where I don't get her! Yato of course I had to hit the hard pity for, but she's been working very well for me. Weedy was another random top op. She was supposedly good for CC#12, but that didn't really convince me to build her sadly. Saga I have waited TOO FREAKING LONG for her to be in the yellow cert shop. And of course, Goldenglow I got with the 6* selector from the store as of now! Oh, also I got FEater to e1 max cuz she's super cute and I hope to e2 her some day.

Aaaaaand that's it. Man, it took a while to get this done that I actually wrote this in a few sessions cuz my attention span is...not great. But at least I got it done in time!

WAIT STAR RAIL HAS DOUBLE BANNERS ALREADY

Like, I predicted that Seele would get a rerun 1.4, but I thought it would be at the expense of not getting a new five star character, maybe a new four star character instead

It feels so soon. 1.4? Not to compare it to Genshin, but that didn't get double banners until 2.3.

(Long ass essay. TLDR, I think HSR's story is going to finish really quickly because of this. Read if interested below the cut)

This makes me think a lot for the future of Star Rail. I think, compared to Genshin and Honkai Impact, it's run time it's going to be a lot shorter.

Like, let's take Honkai Impact 3rd for an example (for reference, I don't play the game. This is just from what I've heard). It released in 2016. The main story ended this year, 2023. Meaning, that it's run time is 7 years. It took them 7 years to finish the main story, to complete whatever the goal is in Honkai Impact 3rd (I'm not familar with the lore.)

Genshin Impact is still running, but we know from the Teyvat Travail Trailer that we are supposed to go to the 7 nations plus Khaenri'ah. We started in 2020, with two nations, and have added one each year, so assuming that there will not be any major story updates between the nations (like going to the light releam or Celestia or something) that warrents its own super patch (ie. the 1.0s, the 2.0s, the 3.0s, and now the 4.0s), then we will finish in 2027. 7 years again.

And let me talk with the pacing of content delivered throughout those 7 years, mainly with banners and account progression, since that's what usually sets the pace of the game. I'll be setting Honkai Impact 3rd aside for now since I have no authority to talk about it, but I feel like it's similar.

So let's start with account level. AR, Trailblaze level, essentially. In Genshin Impact, it took me about 1 year to get to the higher ARs (55+). I have been playing for almost two years now, and I have not hit AR 60. To be fair, I did stall doing acension domains to build, but I don't think that it's too much of a factor because I'm doing the same for Star Rail. In Genshin, 60 is the highest level you can reach. It's been almost two years and I haven't reached there yet. So, assuming that the run time for Genshin is 7 years, then it will take you a little less than half of the run time to reach max account level. Let's say it will take 2.5 years. So, 2.5 out of the 7 years will be used to reach max account level. Seems reasonable. My friend, who had been playing since launch just hit 60 in about March, so, that's about right

Now, let's look at Star Rail, specifically my EU account because that's the most developed one. I have been playing since April, so about 4 months now. The max level is 70. Guess where I am at.

My trailblaze level is 60. And I've been stuck here for about 2 months because I've been meaning to build characters better but school started and I've gotten busy. So, it took me 2 months to complete 6/7 levels. Let's say I get to Trailblaze level 70 by the end of December. You know, classes are over, it's winter break, I have time to play again. Meaning, it took me 8 months to reach the max level. And that's if I procrastinate enough. I have friends who have less classwork and assignments than me, so more time to play, they're already at 70. So, let's say the average time it takes to hit TBR 70 is about 6 months. Assuming that the proportions to time it takes for the average player to reach max level and the time it takes for the game to run is course is about proportional, what does it say about Star Rails run time?

I'm not done yet. Let's look at banenrs.

As you know, our first double banner is going to be occuring this patch, with a Seele rerun. I'm honestly hoping for a Jing Yuan banner next patch so I can pull his light cone, but that aside. For both Genshin and Star Rail, the patch run time is about 6 weeks, with some adjustments being made from time to time (Covid lockdowns during, and 1.4 being made 5 weeks because it's not story heavy??? I'm not sure of the reason behind this but apparently, that's what they did in HI3, so I guess that makes sense)

Anyways, not including phases and assuming each patch is 6 weeks, it took Honkai Star Rail until 1.4 to get their first double banner. So, there were 4 patches before that (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3). 4 times 6 is 24 weeks, so about 6 months after being released to get their first double banner.

You wanna compare that to Genshin.

It took Genshin until 2.3 to get their first double banner, with the reruns of Albedo and Eula. Meaning, there has been 11 patches (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2). 6 times 11 is 66 weeks. That's 1 year and about 3 months. Just to get their first double banner.

So, looking at these comparisons, we can now see that Honkai Star Rail seems to be progressing at a much faster rate than other Hoyoverse games. Unfortunately, for global servers there isn't too much information on the earlier patches for Honkai Impact, so I am unable to confirm when the first double banner, but I would assume it's around the same time as Genshin. I would like to guess that these measures, account level and banner cycles, will tell us how long the game will run until we finish the main story. So, using this guess, I can now do a proportion to figure out how long Star Rail will run for using Genshin as a measuring stick.

Doing some math, I get that Honkai Star Rails run time until we finish the main story is about 1.4 - 2.76 years. That's considerably shorter than some of their bigger mainline games, Genshin and Honkai Impact 3rd. If true, this means that Honkai Star Rail will wrap up its main story before we get to Khaenri'ah. The Trailblazer will have fought Nanook before the Traveler found their sibling.

Does this mean that it's necessarily true? No. I personally got into the game hoping that for a few years after Genshin ends, I will have something to play while I look for the next game to play, and I still hope that it's true. But if it's true, why would Hoyoverse speed up the player experience this much? Having double banners this early makes me nervous for two or three years down the line, where we might get to triple banners, especially at the rate the game releases 5 star characters. And for Trailblaze level, I personally wished it took longer, so it we are prepared mentally and with our builds, because now I already feel like a late stage vetaran player, and I've only played for 6 months. 6 months into playing Genshin and I still felt like a baby. It's good, because it keeps players something to work towards to for longer. For those who want to burn through content and levels, they will do that regardless. There are people who are my current AR and they've started playing this year. But the way the game is progressing makes it seem like Honkai Star Rail's run time is going to be shorter than you think.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper Final Fantasy VII Ode to a Sundered World Event Rerun

The rerun for the Final Fantasy VII Ode to a Sundered World event just started in the Final Fantasy Record Keeper (FFRK) mobile game.

This event stars Genesis Rhapsodos from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

When this event first showed up in FFRK, it came with a banner that featured Genesis’s Soul Breaks.

Ode to a Sundered World was the event that introduced Genesis as a playable char in Final Fantasy Record Keeper.

That was when I first started playing this game. That feels like forever ago. So much has happened since then.

IIRC, there was another rerun of this event before so this is like its third rerun already.

This time there’s no banner featuring Genesis’s relics although there are 2 Final Fantasy VII (#ad) banners.

The Ode to a Sundered World event is one of the last events that will ever show up in the English or Global version of FFRK.

That’s because, unfortunately, Final Fantasy Record Keeper just recently announced that it was gonna end its service on September 29, 2022. I talk more about that in another post.

I really wish this didn’t have to happen. I don’t want FFRK to end, at least not anytime soon.

Anyway, I’m hoping to be able to finish as much of FFRK’s content as I can before everything ends on September 29, 2022. I also want to take screenshots of a couple of stuff in the game.

Currently, Genesis is one of my absolute, most favorite Final Fantasy chars. He’s the reason why I started playing FFRK so my priority is to take screenshots of everything in the game that has to do with him.

This post will focus on the Ode to a Sundered World event.

Ode to a Sundered World Event Info

The Ode to a Sundered World event is just a simple event. It’s basically the same as the usual events that we get in Final Fantasy Record Keeper.

The event rules tab includes a short intro about Genesis and his story in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

There’s a prologue with the following text:

Genesis follows in Sephiroth’s footsteps and becomes SOLDIER 1st Class, but a wound exposes a fatal flaw in Shinra’s biological experiments on him. He reluctantly agrees to help Hollander and Lazard to stop his body degrading.

Then there’s some information about Genesis with the following text:

A SOLDIER 1st Class who grew up with Angeal, Genesis feels a strong sense of rivalry with his friend, Sephiroth, and is obsessed with the epic LOVELESS, often quoting passages from it.

Then there’s a pic of Genesis’s FFRK character sprite saying, “What meaning do you think the Goddess’s gift has for us?”

There’s also information about some of the rewards that players can get by clearing the quests in this event.

These rewards include being able to recruit the following Final Fantasy VII chars: Genesis Rhapsodos, Cloud Strife, and Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough. You can also get the Memory Crystals needed to break their level caps.

Another reward you can get by playing through this event is the 5-star Accessory called LOVELESS (VII). This Accessory raises max HP by 500 and grants moderate resistance to the Confuse debuff.

You can also get the music track entitled The Price of Freedom (VII-CC).

Thoughts on the Ode to a Sundered World Event

And that’s it. That’s all the quests in the Ode to a Sundered World event. Honestly, all the quests in this event are really easy. These fights can all easily be cleared by using the game’s auto battle feature.

But since FFRK is gonna be ending soon and this is gonna be the last time I’ll ever see this event in the English or Global version of the game, I opted to manually clear all the quests here with my Final Fantasy VII realm team.

Of course, said team stars Genesis as my main DPS. Had Aerith as my healer. Then I brought in Angeal Hewley from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII as my secondary DPS. SOLDIER Firsts team FTW!

Also had runs that featured Cloud, Zack Fair from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII, Vincent Valentine from Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII, and/or Barret Wallace from Final Fantasy VII.

So I'm pretty lucky when it comes to gacha.

I knew coming into genshin Diluc was gonna be my favorite. And he ended up being my first five-star. Also, my first triple crowned. (I'm dying for Wolf's gravestone, though)

I also got super lucky that around went I started playing, Childe got his 3rd rerun. I hadn't expected to get him for a much longer time. He's got all level 8 talents.

As for Ayato. I'll be honest, I whaled. I loved his mechanics, and I still love playing him. He's even more fun now with the Dendro reactions. So I spent money to get him and his weapon. (And I'm working on getting him and his weapon to 90)

I do really hope that you get Diluc soon!

so sorry for the late response, but genshin is very fun to get into if u ignore the toxic side of the fanbase. i’ve been playing since april, so im fairly new, but ive had the best time :))

zhongli is a good character dw!! he’s very sophisticated & wise. his banner is actually getting a rerun soon, so if u want to play genshin & try to get him, u can! also, i’d recommend watching all the character demos if u do decide to play (they’re very cool). rn im saving up for venti and a new character who will be released soon named furina.

if u end up playing, i’d be honored to be ur first friend in the game too :)) the lore is also very intricate the more u go along, u might like it!

yes, i’ll try to take my own advice lol. it’ll definitely be a bit stressful for me soon since im abt to start uni, but ik that if i balance everything correctly, i can avoid any unnecessary added stress. if i was able to do it before, i can do it again— just gotta motivate myself!

I know genshin has a pretty big fandom which is nice because big fandoms = more content but at the same time all big fandoms have weird/toxic sides i think it’s just natural. I usually try not to judge media based on a minority of fans because there’s going to be odd people everywhere unfortunately.

Yay I’m glad he’s good!! And the genshin lore does seem really cool I would get into it if I had time but also I feel like i’ve heard that you have to pay to be able to play?? I'm kinda torn on who to pull for in the next patch...

so apparently the patch 3.8 5 stars are eula/klee and kokomi/scara. ig i might as well build pity on eula's banner (which is really just a euphemism for "i have no self-control or conviction so i'll just keep pulling").

as for who to pull between kokomi ans scara tho... idk. on the alt i'll skip phase one and go for kokomi. should be an upgrade over barbara at least. on main tho... i don't exactly need either of them. yeah scara can fly, but is it really worth it to get him solely for that? especially since i'm sure i'm gonna pull for venti when he reruns? and i honestly can't be bothered to build a third dps rn. the only reason i'm pulling for eula is because she might be in the dungeon for even longer than before this time. might as well try to get her while i can, despite also having no intention to build her anytime soon. i will in like 6 months maybe. just not right now. and even though i love kokomi, i just can't justify pulling for her solely out of Love™ alone. might end up doing the same thing i plan to do with eula tbh: just keep pulling and be unattached to the outcome. scara can wait until his next rerun because obviously he's gonna get way more going forward.

i'm also fully aware that kokomi's doughnut weapon is not worth the primos in the slightest. but it's just so pretty ;-; if i get her early i might fuck around and pull for her weapon too. if i get scara's bell at least i can use it on yanfei whenever i can be arsed to build her cuz i've decided to give up on getting yoimiya atp.

this is all assuming that no characters of interest to me are rerunning in the patch after that tho. if either albedo or venti comes back around i might make the hard decision and skip the entire patch tbh

It’s been three months since I started playing Genshin Impact, so it’s time for a review of my progress. Currently sitting at AR42 and it’s still rising way too fast for comfort lol.

If not for the Lantern Rite event, I would definitely still be completing the Liyue archon quests. I’m currently in the middle of the last Inazuma archon quest, but I got stuck at a domain because the world level jumped up right before the domain (I was literally stuck in an infinite loop with Xingqiu in which he couldn’t do enough damage to kill but he also couldn��t die because of his healing lol).

I do wish I had taken my time on the Liyue quests. I’m also currently sitting at a pitiful 29% exploration for it. I’ve been chipping away at my Mondstadt exploration instead - 92% exploration, but like 12/22 quests done lol.

My quests in progress list is a mile long....

As for characters, I have wild luck on this account in both good and bad ways lol.

Pretty sure I invested the most into my Anemo Traveler, because I really like him even if he’s technically not the best (ALTHOUGH I think his damage output is actually better than any of my other characters). I really like using Electro Traveler as well, but his damage output is much poorer (I also only got up to like one constellation for him and barely upgraded his talents). Geo Traveler is annoying, I hate running around the geo constructs. It...actually takes a lot to build the Traveler. Their mats are pretty easy to get, but they’re technically several characters in one since you level each element’s talents and constellations individually.

I’ve gotten a few five stars: Wanderer, Jean, and Mona. I stopped building up Wanderer because I was lacking his ascension materials, but I want to work on him (as soon as I get a decent shield character...I still only have Noelle). At some point I want to build Jean too because she’s fun to use and she can heal. Mona....was a byproduct of trying to get Hu Tao lol. Not sure what she really does.

My best 4 stars are definitely Xingqiu and Kaeya, Beidou after them. I kind of went crazy on the Hu Tao banner trying to get Beidou copies and ended up with a gazillion Xingqius instead (I’m just missing one constellation! maybe I should’ve just completed his lol). I did eventually succeed in getting an extra Beidou copy...it took a painfully long time.

Kaeya is still C0 but this guy’s actually really strong, I haven’t even invested in his talents as much as I should (those damn insignias...he needs so many of them) and he still carries the team with Xingqiu’s support. Beidou is woefully neglected but I rely on her to apply Electro damage and a little bit of shielding. I also didn’t have a 4* claymore for her until recently.

Other than my main team, I tend to toss a lot of resources into Xiangling and Amber because I love Amber and she’s still super useful even if her damage output isn’t great. Xiangling...I grudgingly invest in her a little to help out with certain domains. I admit she’s good, but I really don’t like using her much. Her voice is piercing, and I don’t like her skill with Guoba. I’d like another pyro character but couldn’t get Hu Tao, so oh well lol. I’ll just stick to these two ladies for now. Yoimiya was actually really fun to play, so maybe I’ll keep an eye out for her...? 

The rest are too low level to be useful (except for Barbara...she’s surprisingly useful even at a super low level. used her a lot before Xingqiu came around). I’ve got Noelle, Fischl, Ningguang, Faruzan, Lisa, Collei, Barbara, and Kuki Shinobu. I would REALLY LIKE ANOTHER SHIELD UNIT SOON, but seem to have absolutely no luck on that front lol. Zhongli seems to rerun every now and again, so I might seriously invest in getting him when he comes around. I’m terrible at dodging, okay. And it’s hard to do it on mobile.

The only other character I really want is Venti, so I’ll probably be able to save up a decent amount for them. I just have to control myself lol.

I’m on Zhongli’s errand quest and it takes ages to get all the supplies 😤. I’ll definitely save up primos/fates for Ayato’s next banner. I have very little faith in getting diluc, only cause so many og players have tried for years and still haven’t gotten him. So it makes me a bit apprehensive to waste fates/primos on something unlikely to occur.For now im just keeping busy with trying to ascend all my characters, which takes ages as well lol.

Im sorry to hear that you still have to wait. I hope you’re job is being considerate given that getting covid wasn’t exactly something you chose. Plus, it’s entirely possible that you could have gotten it at work from the customers, other workers, etc. I know working in customer service/at stores can already be stressful, and in a pandemic it’s just more annoying. So they should definitely take that into account in these situations.

Im wishing you luck with getting your art/writing done! I still have to get back to studying writing since i got a bit sidetracked with genshin lol. I loved your genshin levi art!

Omg it does!!! I kept thinking why is this taking forever?! Then I understood in the end lol. And there’s always a chance you’ll get Diluc! Some people seem to have more luck with getting him than others; I hope you’re one of those people! So far the only standard 5* I’ve pulled is Keqing (twice) lol!

I’ve been working on ascending and leveling up my characters too! Though I’m not sure if I should pull for Nilou or not. Every time I see her I’m like YES 🥰 but I also want Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, and Ayaka, and they may be having reruns soon 😔

Luckily, everything has been fine since I returned! Someone else is actually out with Covid so think I definitely got it at work or on the bus; I don’t go anywhere for the most part and my family didn’t have it xD;; I am afraid of how busy it will get during the holidays though!

Dendro Albedo? Now that’s a concept. He actually really suits it because of his interest in life. His skill is literally a flower;;; but it’s sort of fitting it’s not a real flower, with him being artificial n all. A beautiful creation, perhaps even more magnificent than a real flower, but it could never hope to be real. Hm. Maybe Geo really is the perfect element for him.

That’s amazing !! I’ve recently from a friend of mine, if you were kinda nerdy, you would usually have a mythology or history fixation phase while you were growing up - I was sort of both but Egypt always has a special place in my heart. When I first saw him - oh my god I was so happy. I was like YES SOMETHING INSPIRED BY ANUBIS LETS GO !! And Cyno as well from all the leaks I’ve seen about specifically his personality is shaping up to be one of my favourites in the game. (Don’t even get me started on that kit leak, I would’ve preferred to see it in game but still I’m very excited to play him he looks so fun)

I’m so worried I won’t be able to get Scara if Cyno decides to be stubborn and take up all my pulls to get him. Apparently he really isn’t that far away and I’m a f2p so I am;;; in pain. But even if I don’t get him, these characters will all likely get a rerun because of how short the banners will be. Esp Cyno and Nilou - they’re definitely getting a rerun soon. I’m sad about Tighnari though, I don’t think they should’ve announced he’d be on the standard so quickly. And he’s such a good character too. Sigh. I’ll just have to pray that he’ll ruin my pity at some point or come home in a ten pull with the five star.

Life hasn’t been the fairytale either of you deserved. Things just don’t turn out as perfect as they to in movies and sometimes you fall for the wrong person, too deep probably, and it makes you feel like you will never find the right one.

After everything Bucky had been through he fell for a woman for the first time in decades and though he put all his faith in her, she wasn’t the right person for him. He was ready to give her everything he had and love her with all his heart, but she didn’t want it. She didn’t deserve it. Leaving him heartbroken when she left, thinking that maybe loving someone and be loved by someone is just not meant to happen to him.

Then you came into his life.

Being a nurse working beside Dr. Cho at the Tower, you ended up stitching him up quite a lot following his missions. Bruises, cuts, even bullet holes, you’ve seen them all on his body and though Bucky hated to appear vulnerable, you somehow made him feel at ease when you were cleaning him up, humming whatever song you had stuck in your head that week.

You bonded over music from day one. As a person who likes all kinds and genres, you were his number one source when it came to modern music. You made him Spotify playlists every week, making him listen to the best songs in your opinion and he listened to them all. Not just because they really were good songs but because he was ready to do anything you asked him to. You had him wrapped around your finger in a blink of an eye, but when things were about to take a turn, he backed out. At first, you just thought you misread the signs and that he didn’t even like you like that. But then you heard Banner and Nat talk about how Bucky keeps talking about you and that everyone in the Tower thinks that he is in love with you. So instead of letting him get away with it, you confronted him.

That was when he told you about the woman that hurt him before. The way she broke his heart and made him think that he is not worthy of being loved. And you listened to his every word patiently, though you wanted to smack that woman so badly for hurting such a wonderful man.

“Just because she couldn’t appreciate your love, it doesn’t mean that you are not worthy of receiving or giving love. Because you are,” you told him as your hands reached for his metal one, taking it between your palms. You knew how insecure he felt about it and you wanted him to know that you loved every part of him, even the ones that wasn’t entirely made of him.

“I don’t know if I’m the right guy for you, Y/N,” he shook his head, doubting his worth once again.

“You are, because I want you. And I know that you’ll try your best to be the right guy for me even though you already are,” you chuckles and reaching up you cupped his face in your palm.

That day you made a silent promise to take it slow and just find your own pace with each other. You knew it wouldn’t be easy, loving is already complicated enough, but Bucky’s state of mind was an even messier issue. However you refused to give up on him.

Weeks went by and your usual routine started to change slowly. Bucky didn’t only come to see you when he had an injury to take care of, you went on dates or just hung out after your shift. You were always there when he returned from a mission and he never let you leave the Tower without him, he always walked you home, even if he had work to do.

Everything seemed to be on track. Right until one stupid fight ruined everything.

Sam always had a flirty manner in his act. He liked to chit-chat, compliment you, but it was always just friendly. However, when one day he and Bucky returned from a mission, both of them with quite a few injuries, they ended up under your hands as you worked on their wounds, cleaning and bandaging them.

“Darling, your hands are gifts from God,” Sam sighed when you applied a cooling gel to one of his burns before you covered the injured skin. “Or maybe you are an angel yourself,” he then added, making you chuckle.

“Stop it, I’m just doing my job.”

“And you are so damn good in it. I’m one lucky man,” he grinned at you, but before you could say a word, Bucky jumped off the stool beside him and marched out of the room as if he was just triggered into being the winter soldier again. The door shut close behind him, he walked out without even glancing in your way and he left you all confused. You exchanged a look with Sam before you finished up his wounds and mumbling an apology you went after the grumpy soldier that just left.

Stepping out of the room you spotted him at the end of the hallway, sitting all by himself.

“Hey, why did you leave?” you asked, sitting next to him.

“No reason,” he answered without even looking at you, keeping his gaze at the tiled floor.

“That’s so not true. I know something is wrong. Please, just talk to me!” you pleaded, placing a hand to his arm, but his eyes snapped at it right away and made you think you did something wrong.

“I was just not in the mood to listen to Sam flirting with you,” he hissed.

“Then why didn’t you just tell him to stop?” you asked, knitting your eyebrows together.

“Because… I don’t have the right to act all possessive over you.”

Technically, he was right. You weren’t boyfriend and girlfriend, but everyone in the Tower knew you were something. You wanted him to be possessive, to make men stop flirting with you because he thought of you as his. You were so close to it too, but now you felt like you were going backwards again.

“Well, you can easily have the right, Bucky. You know that,” you told him, praying he would take the desperate hint you’d been trying to send him these past weeks.

“Y/N, stop,” he breathed out, closing his eyes.

“Why? Would it be so hard to be more than just friends? Am I not good enough for you?” you asked, speaking thoughts you’ve been harboring these past times even though your rationality knew they weren’t true.

“You know that’s not the case!” he snapped, standing from his seat so you did the same. “It’s me, Y/N. I’m the problem and you know that.”

“You are not a problem, Bucky! How many times do I have to tell you that? I’m not the one who broke your heart, I want to be whatever you need me to be, Bucky, but you are shutting me out! I’m getting tired of telling you the same thing over and over again, because you don’t seem to be listening!” you replied angrily, letting out all the pent up tension you’ve been carrying around. “I feel like I’m talking to a wall, you just keep ignoring what I’m saying. And I want to be patient with you, I would do anything to make you happy, but I can’t do this if you don’t cooperate with me.”

You turned around and marched back into the room before he could say a word, leaving him completely stunned and in panic that he is losing you.

That day you went home without him for the first time in months. Not because he wasn’t there to walk you home, Bucky waited for you at the hall, but then he was informed that you left early. It was a clear message to him that he needed to get his shit together if he didn’t want to lose you.

Eating all your feelings away, you sat on your couch that night with your favorite ice-cream, watching reruns on TV, hoping to take your mind off of a blue eyed soldier, but you didn’t succeed. He was all you could think about and the thought of losing him made you want to cry yourself to sleep and never wake up.

When your phone’s screen lit up with a message, you were shocked to see a text from Bucky. Only that no words were in it, just a link that led you to a song on Spotify.

Another Love by Tom Odell.

Even though you knew the song well, you still listened to it, tears rolling down your cheeks as you focused on the lyrics, because you knew it had a message from Bucky. A quite emotional one. You listened to it again and again as the singer sang about feeling like he put way too much of his energy into another love and that he fears that he won’t love his current one the way she deserves. You knew that this was exactly how Bucky felt like, he was scared he wouldn’t be able to give you everything you wanted because he had been hurt so badly before and it broke your heart to know that he was ready to live a lonely life because of his misbeliefs.

Eager to see him as soon as possible, you grabbed your bag and was about to head out, but when you tore the door open you found the man you were looking for already standing on your doormat.

“Bucky!” you breathed out with teared up eyes. “How long have you been standing here?” you asked, holding the door open for him to come in.

“Since you started listening to the song,” he answered with a soft, tired smile. “Like a hundred times,” he then added, making you chuckle even through your tears. “Y/N, I’m sorry for the way I acted today. It’s just so hard for me to put myself out there again. I know that you’re not her, that you’re different, but still, I can’t help but think that it will happen again,” he told you, his voice dying down at the end. Stepping closer you cupped his face in your hands as you stared back at him.

“Putting yourself out is never easy, but you have to do it sooner or later, Bucky. And I promise you, I won’t do the same thing that she did. She didn’t deserve your love, she didn’t deserve you. Don’t punish yourself for her faults,” you pleaded as he leant into your touch, his eyes fluttering closer, his thick eyelashes fanning on top of his skin under his eyes.

“I’m sorry I’m such a mess,” he whispered, his hands finding your waist as he pulled you closer to him.

“You are not a mess,” you shook your head. “But even if you are, we can be a mess together,” you chuckled and his eyes finally opened as a small smile stretched across his handsome face.

“That sounds good,” he nodded softly as he leant closer and rested his forehead against yours. “Will you wait for me? To fix myself so I can be the man you deserve?” he asked, so out of breath as if he just ran a marathon.

“I’ll be right here, listening to all our playlists until you’re ready,” you chuckled softly, as he smiled back at you, pressing a kiss to your cheek as a silent promise.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Yuna LD And BT Banner

The Illuminating Dreams (Story Act 3, Chapter 4, Part 1) event just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game. This event came with 1 banner.

Illuminating Dreams (Story Act 3, Chapter 4, Part 1) Banner

The Illuminating Dreams (Story Act 3, Chapter 4, Part 1) banner features the following chars and their weapons:

Yuna from Final Fantasy X - 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and Burst or BT

Trey from Final Fantasy Type-0 - 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD

Locke Cole from Final Fantasy VI - 15cp, 35cp, and Ex

Yuna from Final Fantasy X Info

Heard a lot of good things about Yuna from Final Fantasy X (#ad), especially when she’s fully built with perfect Artifacts. Her Burst effect’s also really good in helping to boost the damage of DPS. 

She can heal, she can buff, she can battery, she can remove debuffs, and she can even deal some damage.  

Right now, my Yuna’s equipped with her base Ex that hasn’t been limit broken at all. She has the passives from her 15cp and 35cp. 

I’m missing Yuna’s World of Illusions weapon although it doesn’t matter ‘cause that sucks and isn’t worth getting at all. 

This is the first appearance of Yuna’s LD and BT. Don’t have her perfect Artifacts, unfortunately.

Locke Cole and Trey Info

My Locke’s fully MLB and Purple. He’s outdated and doesn’t even have an LD yet so haven’t used him in a while. 

My Trey’s fully MLB and Purple, including his LD. He may be old but he does still have his uses. Admittedly though, haven’t used him in a while. IIRC, the last time I used him was in the last Dimensions’ End: Transcendence tier fight.

Pull Yuna’s LD and BT for Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII

Anyway, so was interested in Yuna. Want to get another support char and Yuna seemed like a good fit. She even has a Burst unlike other supports and healers. 

If I get all of her weapons, I could choose between using her Burst or a DPS char’s Burst.

I’m trying to use Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII to clear all the Lufenia quests so am always on the lookout for chars that can make him better and increase his damage output.

Problem with Yuna’s LD and BT Banner

So I want to pull for Yuna but the problem is her banner. The only weapons I want from the Illuminating Dreams (Story Act 3, Chapter 4, Part 1) banner are Yuna’s LD and BT and possibly dupes of her Ex for limit breaking purposes although I could just use Power Stones for those. 

Already have all of Trey’s and Locke’s weapons as well as Yuna’s 15cp and 35cp so this felt like a crappy banner to use gems on, especially when compared to the upcoming banner featuring Agrias Oaks’s (from Final Fantasy Tactics) and Ceodore Harvey’s (from Final Fantasy IV) LDs as well as another shot at Yuna’s Burst weapon.

Agrias’s LD is new but Ceodore’s LD is just a rerun. Missing Ceodore’s LD though. IIRC, I only have the free copy of his 15cp and a copy of his Ex that’s been limit broken once. 

Already have everything for Agrias except for her LD. Compared to Yuna’s debut banner, this one was way better to pull on with gems since I could try to get Agria’s LD, Yuna’s Burst, and Ceodore’s weapons.

It seemed like I was better off just using tickets on Yuna’s banner then stop as soon as I get her LD and just wait for Agrias’s banner. The problem was that there was no guarantee when it comes to using tickets. 

I could get Yuna’s LD in the first 10-pull or I could fail to get it even after using hundreds of tickets. If I use tickets and fail to get Yuna’s LD, would I be able to walk away from this banner, or would I just rage pull with gems instead? Doing the latter would be an utter waste of resources.

So was considering my options. Using gems was the way to go to guarantee Yuna’s LD but was really reluctant to do so considering how bad this banner was for me in comparison to the upcoming Agrias and Ceodore banner. 

The fact that I recently had to pity Setzer Gabbiani’s (from Final Fantasy VI) LD and was still recovering from that didn’t help at all. Needless to say, really didn’t feel like using gems at all.

Illuminating Dreams (Story Act 3, Chapter 4, Part 1) Banner Tickets Pulls Results

After a bit more back and forth, eventually decided to go with tickets. Currently have 466 on hand so here’s to hoping that Yuna’s LD will come home before I run out. I’ll try to get her Burst on the Agrias and Ceodore banner.

Got the usual bronze and silver trash as well as a few gold dupes. Trey trolled me a lot with his weapons.

Even got dupes of his Ex. Wish that had been Yuna’s instead so I could have used them to limit break the one I already have.

A few 10-pulls later, I got a dupe of Trey’s LD. Was very disappointed and was just wishing that had been Yuna’s instead when another gold showed up. This one turned out to be -

My very first copy of Yuna’s LD! Hell, yes! So freaking pleased to see this. Totally made up for the dupe Trey LD that appeared before this.

Without the appearance of Yuna’s LD, this pull would have been really bad.

Also really glad that Yuna’s LD didn’t take all of my tickets. Still have 376 left when her LD came home.

C1 ZHOBGLI CAME HOME

I REPEAT C1 ZHONGLI IS HERE

Did I use up of all of my saved primos for Zhongli at the first day of his banner? Yes, lost my 50/50 to Diluc but still got him!

Did I use up the primos I saved up since then because I couldn't resist his temptation of just one more pull? Also yes. Time to up Enkanomiya Exploration to 100%

Do I regret it? Heck no. Skipping Yae anyway - Geo Daddy with his two pillars is enough for me to be happy

Got one of the two characters I began playing for, now I only need a fourth Childe rerun 😭

oooo im so happy for you!!! also i can totally feel that, when i started with genshin almost a year ago i really REALLY wanted childe and zhongli like the mosttt. i was lucky tho bc i started at the end of hu taos first banner (~1.3 iirc) and right before ventis first rerun (1.4) bc after venti banner childes first rerun came and then right after his banner zhonglis first rerun (1.5) came AHAH so i got them without having to wait long. i know some others had to wait longer or didnt even get someone. its unlucky that you just missed childes third rerun 😔 may he come back soon again!
