Fendi and Prada got an image upgrade as responsible young adults. Macy didn't, well, because she still needs to earn it. Two siblings don't even have a relationship, nonetheless, we'll pretend like they're best buddies.

During Prada's last visit to her dad -Lucas-, Fendi also receives a ghost hunting job at The Roarks. After they're done with their separate objectives, they group up and leave for the movie theatre for a fun evening. They both had wishes for having a group outing with each other so that made sense.

They wait for Macy to be done with her job so that they can pose* for the photos. Macy uses her SnapTastic Flimsy-Cam which I regretted afterwards because the photo quality is horrible. Obviously, the town needs a proper photographer sim for these occasions.

Later that night Prada can't sleep much and has an upset stomach for no reason. Usually, this image is the trademark of pregnancy in the sims community but this time, I like to believe, it's an emotional reaction to her dad's passing. Lucas dies while the siblings tour the theatre.

and if you were wondering what exactly I am so pumped about over here and want a snapshot of the book I gotchu fam

we have an “antihero”/ villainous mc

+ revenge arc leading into fuck redemption we're here to fuck bitches up and rule the world

+ a smidgen of godpunk

+ wuxia style magic system

+ and they use their qi to pilot giant mechas (the mechas are there as plot and for power because war but they're also a literary device for societal commentary and ✨character development✨)

+ patriarchy smashing (because that ✨character development✨ stems from realising that their very sus and systematic sacrifice of girls to allow the boys to pilot mechas is like. a really crap ridiculous situation and also highly incredibly shitty and also beyond sus)

+ a love “triangle” with poly resolution

+ which means yes she's got two boyfriends and her boyfriends are also boyfriends

+ which also means we get to have the best of like all worlds what with the friends to lovers route, the hate to love route, the “he always loved her but she's in love with someone else” route plus the “welp guess I love him too” route

+ yep we're queer as all hell

+ the main cast are all bi and we even got gender bending, basically

+ elseworlds esque narrative with characters and settings and canon lore inspired by east asian or chinese myths and actual historical figures (have fun hunting down all the references and allusions)

+ action and power packed from beginning to end there's not a word wasted here

+ lots of meta commentary on power structures, the patriarchy, gender roles, identity and sexuality, society, like there's a lot here okay clearly they brought the Braincell

+ speaking of elseworlds and allworlds and Other worlds 👀 (some more tags but they're spoilers for the ending, check 'em out here)
