Dcxdp idea 112
Clockwork is tired.
Tired of the GIW targeting his son mentee. Tired of the Fenton parent’s threatening his existence. Of agent O and K.
Tired of the flashes messing with the time stream.
They may “fix” it. But it was always still a mess.
When an identity reveal goes wrong. Well he acts. Before it escalated, before Danny’s parents attacked.
Appearing before insert any flash or multiple flashes/kid flash. Clockwork demands they babysit his ward if they want to keep messing with the fabric of time.
This is the following conversation.
Danny: i don’t need a babysitter
Clockwork: there are people hunting you down
Danny: i can avoid my paretns.
Clockwork: and?
Danny: agent k and o have terrible aim
Clockwork eyebrow raised: and
Danny: okay okay okay so an entire group of guys in white
Clockwork:
Danny: fine and the entire US government. But i don’t need a babysitter.

honestly I'm super new to DC fandom and mostly got into it via batfam and flashfam stuff so I'm genuinely asking — why do people talk so much about how bad Roy's characterization is? like what was his original character like bc idk much about him to begin with, but I'd like to
the reason everyone complains about roys characterization is that after the new 52 pretty much everything about him was changed :( :(
here's a really good explanation of it if you want to learn more in depth, but that post is a little long so ill give u some of the basics jfdkafjdaldkd
before flashpoint, he was super close with the titans, had a daughter, had a good relationship with ollie, and he was an experienced vigilante. then in red hood and the outlaws, all of that was taken away and he became just some himbo that hung around jason and didnt have anyone else :/
a big part of roy's origin is that he was raised in the navajo tribe then later became an official member, but that was taken away too :(
AND his addiction was changed from heroin to alcohol which???? why. in the original story he had a bunch of people to help him through recovery, then in rhato he didnt have any of his friends or family :( he just had jason and??? killer croc?????????
plus rhato has like. destroyed so many people's views of roys relationship with ollie :( before the new 52 they were really close despite their struggles, then the new 52 happened and they had a terrible relationship and so many people act like ollie is a terrible father :(
he got a little bit of his old origin back in rebirth but. its never the same :(
basically rhato took away most of roy's defining traits and all his relationships with other characters, and it watered him down just to make jason look cooler in comparison :/ so yeah. when we complain about roy's characterization we r talking about whats been happening since to the n52 to make him nothing like who he was before :( :( :(
in conclusion i am going to hunt scott lobdell for sport. i am going to rip him apart with my bare hands. i am going to cut his head off and turn it around to make him look at his headless body like they did in 1800s france.

So for me this year the comics that are announced as of right now that I’m most looking forward to are as follows.
1. Shazam! mentioned this before I am a huge Shazam fan. I’ve read virtually all the comics. I think Waid is a great pick for a character like this and the book is going to have Dan Mora art too. Easily for me the thing I’m most interested in seeing.
2. Action Comics- This new era of Action Comics that starts in January has me highly intrigued. Turning the book into more of an anthology that stars various members of the Superfam just sounds like my cup of tea. I’ve enjoyed Johnson’s Action comics so far and I feel like it’s only going to get better. Plus everyone (besides Clark) has a cool jacket now.
3. The Flash- I’ve already been highly enjoying this book. Like I don’t think Adam’s writing is perfect or anything but it’s fun and he’s given me back so many character’s we’ve lost. Plus once again moving into a story where the entire Flashfam is involved along with a bi-weekly release schedule. So we get to read it two times a month. Here’s hoping One Minute War is just as good as I’m hoping it will be.
4. Going to put both Green Lantern books here. Hal’s book excites me because I really have enjoyed Tamaki’s writing so far, She has continually demonstrated an understanding of characters few other writers in DC seem to have right now. Plus anyone writing a Hal book whom I’m confident will not glorify the military, as a certain very famous GL writer did is a win in my book. John’s book excites me because I have enjoyed Johnson’ writing on Action Comics. But I’m also near certain he’s going to give Kyle some love too. He’s mentioned in interviews he loves Kyle and would use him in a GL book. Kyle and John’s friendship is very special to me and seeing them interact more as I think they are most likely going to would only be a win for me.
5. Superboy: The Man of Tomorrow- Just a mini but it’s been so long since Kon got any love I genuinely cannot wait. Listening to the initial Round Robin interview with Kenny Porter too he seemed quite knowledgeable about Kon as well. Here’s hoping this mini is worth the wait.
I would have put Green Arrow here if I wasn’t skeptical of Williamson’s writing but the book is giving us back Arrowfam members we’ve been missing and giving Roy a new costume without the dumb hat so that already is a win.
These are the books I’m most excited for and I’d love to hear yours if you’re willing to share.

Characters that would be cool to see in the Young Justice TV show
(Sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes.)
This is not a “This character should be in Young Justice” list. These are some DC characters I think are cool and think it would be cool to see them in the show. I completely understand why some, if not all these character won’t become part of the show, they already have a lot of characters, and it seems like the creators have their own plan in mind. This is just for fun. Also, I’m not a DC expert, so sorry if I get some things wrong about a character.
(PS. As of right now, my favorite DC superhero families are the Batfam and the Flashfam, so don’t be surprise if you see a lot of them on this list.)
(Just like the characters and show I will be talking about, I don’t own the pitchers. They, the characters, and show are property of DC.)
1. Starfire aka Princess Koriand’r of Tamaran
Tumblr media
I have read been reading a few Teen Titans comics and I have seen a lot of episode of the show Teen Titans and I’ve got to say, I absolutely love Starfire. She’s strong, she’s kind, and just amazing. There’s to many great things about  her to list. I can already think of at least two ways the team could meet her. Maybe Tamaran is in trouble and Starfire heard of the heroes of earth and decided to go to them for help. Maybe the team's on mission in space on ship and they find Starfire as a prisoner. Just some possibilities.
2. Raven aka Rachel Roth
Tumblr media
Raven is the daughter of a demon that wants to take over earth, the story arcs you could use there are basically gift wrap to you. Not only that, but I like the idea of her and Jaime Reyes bonding over having powers that have a bad origin but they choose to use them for good. I hope I phrased that right.
3. Batwing aka Lucas “Luke” Fox
Tumblr media
I read his book by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, and let me tell you, this guy is awesome. It would be nice to see him with the Batfamily in this show.
4. Signal aka Duke Thomas
Tumblr media
I love this kid and his book by Scott Snyder and Tony Patrick and it is awesome. A lot of elements of Young Justice focus on meta humans, and based on what I know, Duke is the only batfamily member with superpowers. Maybe their can be a story arc about Duke being new member to the batfamily but feeling out of place because of his powers, which leads him to join Young Justice. Or something like that.
5. Max Mercury aka Maxwell Crandall
Tumblr media
This guy can lead to a lot of interesting stories. In the comics he was primary care taker and mentor of Bart, but seeing as that role has been given to Jay Garrick, I don’t think Max will become that if he’s part of the show. That being said, I can see him still bonding with Bart in the show. Max was basically the first speedster, and might have been the first time traveler. Max was original from 1800s and ended up running so fast that wound up modern time. Well, eventually he ended up in modern time. So he could relate to Bart about living in a time that they weren’t original part of. The difference would probably be that while Max’s time wasn’t great he would probably still miss stuff, like his friends and family, but Bart doesn't really much if anything to miss about his time. (I mean, Bart had Neutron, but Neutron was just as miserable as Bart was. They were both living in what was basically hell.)
6. XS aka Jenni Ognats
Tumblr media
Jenni Ognats, granddaughter of Barry Allen, daughter of Dawn Allen, and cousin of Bart Allen. A speedster hero and a member of the legion of superheroes. At first I wondered why she wasn’t with Phantom Girl, Saturn Girl, and Chameleon Boy in season 4, but then I realized that Bart wasn’t born as far in the 31 century like he is in the comics, or at least I don’t think he is, my math might be off, but I think his future was in the 2060s at most, so Jenni probably doesn't live in that time zone either. Their were probably some other reasons too, but think that was one of the main reasons. I still there are some ways that Jenni could become part of the show. Apparently Don and Dawn Allen will sometimes become villains instead of heroes, so maybe Jenni goes back in time to prevent that. I know the twins are very young at the moment, so maybe the thing that leads to twins becoming villains happens when they were very young. That or maybe Jenni could be what Bart claimed to be when he was first introduced: a tourist from the future. Or maybe, Jenni travels to the past to try and escape the next person on the list.
7. Reverse Flash aka Eobard Thawne
Tumblr media
Eobard Thawne, enemy of the Flash, killer of Nora Allen, and ancestor of Bart Allen. (Ps. @dementedspeedster, thank you for correcting me.) This guy would pretty much do anything in order to hurt Barry Allen, even if it means killing everyone in the world including himself. So he already has a built in motive for causing problems in the show. That and his relation to Bart can lead to interesting character arcs and story. Did Bart even know that he was related to this man? If not how does he feel about that? Bart seems very proud to be a part of the flash family, how would he react to finding out he was also related to the Flash’s worst enemy? This could lead to him having bonding moments with Artemis, Orphan, and others due to them understanding what it’s like to related to a villain, as well as helping Bart comes to terms with it. That and/or these a story line where Eobard Thawne comes after Bart, for one reason or another. Either way, I can see how add Eobard in the show can lead to a lot of possibilities.
8. Inertia aka Thaddeus Thawne
Tumblr media
Speaking of how add the Reverse Flash can lead to a lot of possibilities, meet Thaddeus Thawne: A clone made by President Thawne using Bart Allen’s and Thawne DNA, made to hurt, kill, and basically cause problems for the Allen family, mainly Bart Allen. Cloning is something that happens or is referenced to, quite a lot in this show, so Thaddeus wouldn’t feel too out of place. He could offer a lot of the same stuff Eobard Thawne, with the added bonus of a possible redemption arc. Superboy and Red Arrow would probably relate to him for being a clone made to be pawn in someone else plan and would try to show him that his life doesn't have to be like that. The Flash family might see him as family, since he still has a bit of Allen in him, and try to to convince him that they will actually treat him like family and not a tool for “revenge”. That and I just love villains redemption stories, and I don’t think any child is beyond help, so I would love it this show did something like that.
9. Meloni Thawne
Tumblr media
Bart Allen’s mother. I’m not a 100% sure how the show could use her, other than in a Reverse Flash story line, but it would be nice to see her.
10. Catwoman aka Selina Kyle
Tumblr media
I’m honestly surprise there hasn’t even been at least a reference to her in the show. Selina is both a love interest and villain of Batman, a master thief, but will be a hero if she feels like she has to be, there is a lot you can do with her. Personally, a idea I have for her is being a double agent to infiltrate The Light. Unlike the last the heroes made someone a mole, everyone on the team will know she’s a double agent. Probably won’t happen, like most of the things on this list, but just a thought.
11. Harley Quinn aka Harleen Quinzel
Tumblr media
Harley Quinn’s loads of fun and it would be nice to see her in Young Justice. I can seeing her doing what I also suggested for Catwoman and being a double agents, or I could see her just being a one time villain in a episode. Their are quite literally 100% ways you can go with her character.
12. Bunker aka Miguel Jose Barragan
Tumblr media
I will admit I don’t know a whole lot about this guy, but he seems like a fun guy. That and his powers are cool. I’d be happy to see him in the show.
13. Ace aka (I couldn’t find another name for her)
Tumblr media
As far as I know, this girl only exits in Justice League Animated Universe, but I like her, and I know a lot of other people like her. Ace is a traumatized and hurting child with powers that are almost god like. Like Raven, their are all kinds of story arcs you can do with that. The one I came up with first is her using her powers to avoid her trauma and problems, and live in a fantasy world. But again, there are a lot of things you can do with her.
14. Princess Amethyst of Gemworld aka Amy Winston
Tumblr media
The show confirmed that other dimensions are in fact a thing in the Young Justice universe, so Gemworld could exists in their world. Meaning it is possible for Amethyst to become part of the show. (This is a bit more of a prediction than hope. Not saying I don’t want her to be in the show, just saying this is more of a prediction.)
15. The H.I.V.E Five/Fearsome Five aka Jinx, Billy Numerous (William Billy Strayer), Kyd Wykkyd, See-More (Seymour), Mammoth, and Gizmo (I couldn’t find all they’re real names, sorry)
Tumblr media
Before you ask, yes, they are called The H.I.V.E Five even though their are six of them. Also, I don’t really know much about their comic counter parts, so I will mostly if not always be referring to their Teen Titans characters. For me, these kids were the best thing about the Teen Titans show so that alone is a reason why I think it we be neat to them in Young Justice. That being said, I can see some good story arcs for the show involving these characters.
That’s all I got for now, sorry it’s late, and my head is starting to hurt.
Later I will probably look at this and kick myself for not putting a character on this list, but right now I think I’m satisfied.
(Again, sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes.)

Rant ahead: Bart and the Rogues Gallery.
Why is it that every speedster has some sort of relationship with the rogues except for the one that it actually would make sense if he had one. Are you seriously telling me Bart Henry Allen-Thawne II has NO correlation to them at ALL, but Wally and Barry do???
I get Barry ‘believes’ in them or whatever, but that doesn’t mean they’re automatic buddies. He has major trust issues and doesn’t even like turning his back around them!
And Wally? Wally has this weird thing against villains, no matter how small the crime. I mean, he broke up a friendship that he had for YEARS with Hartley Rathaway because Pied Piper went off book for a mission that was for A GOOD CAUSE.
Bart Allen’s half brother Owen is in the rogues. His twin clone is in the rogues. Digger knew his mother, and I’m sure he’d want to know more about her. He’s an outcasted flashfam member that needs a home because every family he’s been put into disappeared or died. First Max and then Jay, then the Titans disbanded. He doesn’t belong to any timeline, never met his father, abandoned by his mother so he wouldn’t be kidnapped by science cops, sent by his own evil Grandpa! That sounds like just about any other rogue sob story. And yet he has no connection to them. AT ALL. Which is just… Mind boggling!
And the one issue he gets with them, the rogues KILL him?? Which is totally out of character for them because one of their main rules is NO KILLING FLASHES. With time and character development, I’m sure Thad will come around and Bart will give him a chance, no matter how skeptical he is, because it’s what Max wanted for them and that was Bart’s goddamn dad, so help me! And Bart really doesn’t mind the whole villain thing either; he’s held casual conversation with the JOKER. Are you kidding me??
Do y’all understand how upsetting this is, or am I the only one???

batfam and flashfam reaction to barry and bruce dating? or the league? or the ccpd's reaction that barry is dating BRUCE WAYNE? idk
sorry this took so long! work got in the way lol
old news.
Clark set his tablet down on the conference table, retaking his seat between Diana and J’onn. “…that was all Natasha uncovered from the artillery left behind after we scared the sellers away,” he explained, “she and John think they can figure out, though, where these weapons originated from, but that might take time.”
“Do we have time?” Bruce asked, “It seems like Gotham’s infested with these guns. Just the other day Oracle’s agents were caught in the middle of a crossfire between drug runners and Peacekeepers, both groups armed with this… alien gear.”
“Playing both sides?” Kendra suggested, leaning forward in her seat, “Is it one group looking to stoke chaos by fueling fire to already heated factions, or are we seeing two sellers from the same planet jockeying for control of the market.”
“Whether it’s one or two sellers coming from the same place we don’t know,” Clark told her, “But we do know that some of the weapons smuggling groups already active aren’t happy. From what Lois says, Intergang is having issues moving their merchandise because of the damage these newer weapons can do, and they’re running their own investigation into the matter.”
“So if Intergang isn’t behind this, then can we take Apokolips out of the equation?” Barry asked, sipping some coffee. That was his eighth, the other seven, empty, Styrofoam cups littering his table space. “Since Intergang and Apokolips are pretty tight knit?”
“We can’t rule Apokolips out as being behind these weapons, unfortunately,” Diana sighed. She grabbed her own tablet, tapping the screen. A holograph lit from the center of the table, highlighting the deathly, firepit ridden planet. “Though Darkseid and Intergang have a relationship, many members of the Apokoliptian court wouldn’t think twice about underhanded dealings that might benefit them. Or, possibly, Darkseid is betraying Intergang – taking out the middleman, so to speak. Testing new weapons we haven’t seen, spreading them across Earth so we’re distracted from other matters… until Scott and Barda tell us it’s not New God tech, we have to keep this possibility in mind, like the possibility that it might be magic –“
“I’ve made your concerns aware, Diana,” Clark said, “I’ve even put the Irons in contact with Kent and Khalid. We’re open to every possibility, which reminds me… Hal? Have you updated the League database with your latest ring files?”
Hal hissed, deflating, sliding down in his seat. “Not yet. Kinda got sidetracked by that earthquake in San Juan.”
“Why don’t you do that now, then,” Clark said, “as long as no one else has anything to add?” The remainder of their League remained silent. “Good. Then I guess we’re done.”
The team began shifting from business into a more relaxed attitude. Clark and Diana started trading stories about their weeks, having not seen each other since the last meeting. Kendra crept her way towards J’onn, hands sliding across his shoulders as she whispered something in his ear that made him smile. Arthur mumbled under his breath in Atlantean, disengaged with surface drama for the moment with something on his tablet.
Hal turned to Barry, nudging him with his elbow. “Hey,” he whispered, “I was thinking drinks. You in? Course, I need to get that file download, but that shouldn’t take long. If you want to wait –“
“No.”
Both Hal and Barry whipped their heads to where Bruce sat, the other man not looking up from his tablet as he spoke. “No?” Hal asked, “What’s it to you? I wasn’t inviting you.”
“I know,” he said, “but I was answering for Barry. He can’t get drinks with you because he has a prior engagement.” Bruce’s gaze moved from the tablet to Barry, a softer expression, foreign to his usual gruff demeanor, graced his features. “A reservation for two at Girabaldi’s, tonight, seven o’clock.”
Barry glowed, lightning crackling off his body as a sign Hal recognized of his friend’s utter delight. “What’s the occasion?”
“No occasion,” Bruce shrugged, “figured it might be a change of pace given our last few dates.”
No one breathed at that moment. Time slowed, Hal noticing every Leaguer situated around the table pausing what they did. Everyone seemed intrigued with the current revelation happening before them.
Barry snorted into the dregs of his last coffee. “Well… rooftops can be romantic, but it was all starting to get a bit repetitive…” he said, “And having someone else besides me deliver our food is a definite plus.”
“Wait, hold on a second!” Hal interrupted their flirting with a glowing, green wall that separated his best friend and his colleague. “What is happening?”
“We were talking, Hal,” Barry hissed, jabbing him in the stomach, “Can you can it with the lightshow?”
Bruce hissed under breath, “Rude…”
“Sorry, sorry…” Hal replied, sarcastically, making the wall bigger and more ornate, “I guess the whole you dating freakin’ Batmanof it all kinda took me off guard.”
“Kinda threw us all for a loop…” Clark added. A sharp glance from Bruce cut him down a size, causing Clark to blush and stare at his lap sheepishly. “Sorry,” he mumbled, “didn’t mean to speak out of turn.”
“Seriously,” Bruce rose, addressing the group, “none of you were aware that Barry and I’ve been dating these past few months?”
“Months?”
Sighing, pinching his brow, Bruce stood there for a beat. Then, he turned. His cape swooshed behind him as he exited. “I can’t believe this.”
Barry smiled at the others, shrugging, “We did think you all knew already, if it makes you feel any better?” He vanished from sight, too, not even bothering to clean up his litter.
Hal slumped in his chair, the green wall dissipating, almost as if it never existed. “Barry and… and Bruce? I can’t believe it.” He pointed at the door where the two men left, asking, “Seriously, did that even happen?”
“It did,” Arthur said, “It most certainly did?”
“Well, what do we do now?”
No one dared to speak, save Diana. She cleared her throat, steeping her fingers, carefully parsing through her words carefully. “We don’t do anything besides what we were already doing,” she said, “Which, for you, Hal, means uploading those files.” She collected her tablet, levelling a stern stare at the remaining Leaguers. “Understood?”
Everyone agreed. The others followed Diana from the room, leaving Hal by himself. He stretched out across the table, knocking into Barry’s empty coffee cups with a frown. “Barry and Bruce,” he muttered, “how the hell didn’t I notice… months! For months! Barry’s been putting up with Bruce’s ass for months!”

Honestly, Clark’s faith in him when people doubted him makes the fact that Wally is giving that same kind of faith to Jon that much sweeter. Like a lot of analysis is about cycles of abuse and negativity, but it’s more rare that we are able to see cycles of goodness be passed down but I wouldn’t expect anything less from the superfam and the flashfam.
Also apologies I don’t mean to jump on your post but it makes me emotional, like Clark never had any sidekicks but he seemed to be the overall good uncle for all his JL’s friends kids.
you're not jumping on my post, i love additions like this! and yeah omg i'm not very well versed in the superfam yet (tho it's on my agenda. hopefully i'll start in on post-crisis stuff during winter break) but from what i understand a lot of members within it tend to act pretty independently of clark rather than acting as his sidekick so like you said it must be really special that he gets to interact with and encourage the sidekicks of his friends!

RP Headcanons: DC Edition, pt 1
Batfam
Bruce cares, tries, and fails, but generally keeps trying for his kids.
Baby Terry McGinnis is the cutest thing ever and his dinosaur t-shirts reinforce this.
Slade Wilson - terrible person, great assassin, loving (if strict) parent.
Dick and Bruce fight constantly! Once Dick gets mad about something, everything makes him more angry until he and Bruce eventually resolve the first problem. It's sometimes big stuff... sometimes really petty shit.
Steph loves waffles. She will trade Tim for a 4-stack with chocolate chips.
Everybody wants to pair with Bruce on Gotham patrols. He gets the best fights and he brings snacks in the belt - it's a 50/50 if it's protein bars or trail mix, though.
Nobody wants to pair with Bruce on Gotham patrols. He won't let you make Social Media posts or stop for a hotdog at Rico's corner stand.
Jason and Dick actually fight a lot, still. Jason knows how to push Dick's buttons and he uses that as a self-defense tactic when he doesn't want to talk. ("Get Dick mad and he won't ask if I'm okay!")
Cass loved Steph before Steph loved Cass. Stephanie figured it out... eventually.
Lucius Fox only helps with the really weird shit because Bruce trades him Alfred's secret holiday recipes sometimes. Alfred's recipes are the true treasures of Earth.
Duke does his best not to get swept up in the weird, wild lives of his batsiblings tbh.
Tim doesn't babysit, he gets babysat.
Ace is the Good Boy™ but he will try and take Krypto down.
Titus is trained, we swear, but he's goofier than a ferret on drugs sometimes. 10/10 derp.
Sometimes Dami gives Batcow walks through the garden to help her relax.
Every Batfam member will stab the other for the last piece of Ma Kent's apple pie. Even Alfred.
Superfam
90s Kon and YJ Kon both deserve to exist. What better combo than the Insta-famous, outgoing showboat and the blunt, introverted buffbaby?
YJ Kon is way more of a "Conner" than 90s Kon. 90s Con is now "Carter."
Carter + Tim = Flashy Disaster Couple
Conner likes Wally's freckles.
Ma and Pa Kent accept any and all grandkids, time-travel or dimension-hopping be damned because "They're our boys, now, Clark, of course we want to see them!", and there are family trips to the farm.
Clark will bribe his friends and teammates with his mother's cooking. He can't bribe with his own, though, because he's terrible at it.
Jon would happily fly to Gotham for dinner before eating what his father burned made for them.
Krypto would probably go, too.
Clark doesn't know what to do with all of his sons but at least they aren't like his cousins.
"It's not about whether the boob window would look good or not, guys! It isn't happening!" is still something he's had to say before, though, and Clark's mildly ashamed of it.
With three superboys up to bat, the real issue is that none of them want to share the name. Jon had it first and that's fine with his brothers, really. Conner looks and feels like practically an adult, so he's meh about it. Carter wants something catchier to say. The result? Superboy, Kon and Rao.
Jor-El had a conniption when Carter named himself "Rao" as a hero. "You named yourself after OUR GOD?!? You disrespectful little-!"
Lex thought it was hilarious.
The boys are constantly in the background of Carter's posts and there's a few Insta vids of Lex trying and failing to hide that he's mildly amused by his son's shenanigans.
Flashfam
Barry is face-blind (has prosopagnosia). He can gradually memorize specific elements of a person's face ("Uh... Ollie's hair is like mine, right? So he's blond! And I know he has facial hair.") but has trouble associating them together unless he's had long periods of exposure to the person.
Wally is a nervous bundle of anxiety. All of the time.
Barry is practically incapable of looking on the dark side of things, and tends to believe the best of people - this extends to his villains.
Cisco is his bro, Caitlin is like the ditzy aunt, and Harrison is the exasperated father-figure that just wishes his kids didn't drink so much coffee.
Speaking of coffee - Barry doesn't drink it on the job. It makes him antsy.
Captain Boomerang - Digger, to his friends - is always on the edge of getting out of the game. Raising Owen ("Little Diggs") is a higher priority than his Rogues work. He waivers between retirement and always that "last" job that'll set him up to take care of his son.
Little Diggs is too pure for this world, and a fan of Flash even though he knows his father is a villain.
Wally isn't as forgiving with the Rogues as Barry is. This is especially true for Heatwave, Glider and Cold, since they've all double-crossed the Flash before.
Cold isn't fond of Kid Flash. Barry earns his respect and, in some ways, his admiration - this doesn't extend to Flash's smartassed sidekick.
Lisa and Mick are a surprisingly functional duo despite their dysfunctional dynamic. Lisa is generally in charge in their relationship, and Mick knows Len would ice him if he ever raised a hand to Lisa.
Len and Mick are best friends, despite the friction from their clashing personalities.
Lisa keeps pushing Len to either date or pick a favorite hooker - anything to get him laid and chilled out for once.
Len is practically addicted to puns. Not even just cold- or ice-related puns, either! He will make puns out of anything when given an opportunity, and genuinely is amused by them.
Arrowfam
Oliver is never in control of his daily life. He's barely in control of his personal choices most of the time.
Felicity runs it all - the team, the company, organizing his assignments from the League... everything other than doing the hard stuff herself.
Ollie really is a capable hero, but he doesn't believe it. He also doesn't particularly believe that the League needs or wants him there, but couldn't tell you why exactly they keep him, then, if questioned about it.
Roy has totally given up the flash and mystique of heroism tbh. Trucker hat? Check. Bow, arrows, and backup guns? Check. Flip-flops? All the better to chase people with. The slapslapslap of justice will strike terror in the hearts of muggers everywhere.
Oliver spoils Lian relentlessly.
Artemis is glad to avoid the weird shit that Roy and his clones get up to when Ollie isn't paying attention. She's never been more thankful that she isn't one of the adopted sidekicks.
Jim: Big, friendly, easily guilt-tripped, the pretty one.
Will: Mature, down-to-earth, does the guilt-tripping, the mom/dad friend.
Roy: Trash, amger!!!, can't be guilt-tripped but can be blackmailed, has no clue what he wants in life yet.
Lian will either murder you in your sleep or you are now a member of her family. There is no in-between.
No pets. Ever. They will get shot with an arrow by accident and nobody in the house is willing to deal with that emotional burden.
Oliver wants exactly 0 people in the "Arrowfam" but will kill you and/or himself over losing any member of his Arrowfam.

hello i know this is an arrow blog but i have to ask u: whos your favorite flashfam member and why? also: what do you think of cissie king jones?
HI I’M ACTUALLY ALSO FLASHFAM TRASH Y’ALL CAN ASK ME ABOUT THE FLASH ANYTIME.
Oh man. So like the thing about the Flashfam is that I love them all for different reasons 😭 But my top 3 are unsurprisingly Jay, Barry, and Wally. (Followed by Max, Jessie, Linda, Bart, Irey and Jai, Iris, and even Thaddeus Thawne).
Jay Garrick is a fucking icon - I LOVE him (he was also my first Flash- in case you’re noticing a trend here, I did in fact get started with the OLD OLD comics back when I was a wee bab). Just everything about Jay makes me so soft. Love that old man.
Barry isn’t a perfect man or a perfect dad, but he tries so goddamn hard, and he’s fundamentally kind. And I love his interactions with the Rogues. I have a love hate relationship with the fact that he put Dexter Myles in charge of the Flash Museum. I just love Barry, he’s a nerd and I love him.
Wally was my second fictional crush (can you tell that my type is redheads?) and I LIVE for his relationship with Hartley. I just- love their friendship. I love them as plantonic friends, I love them as a ship. They’re good. I also love Wally with the Titans. I think he’s a really great character.
But onto the topic of Cissie!!!!!
I love her. Cissie is SO cool, and she has a really compelling backstory. There’s always that “what if?” as to whether Ollie’s her dad that sticks in my head when I think about her. She’s a great friend, a fucking incredible archer, and I think that her relationship with her mother is very relatable and that I’d love to see more of her. (It has unfortunately been a hot minute since I’ve read any comics with her in them and thanks to working a high stress retail job and college my brain is mush but when I’m back at that point in my “big reread” I’ll likely end up drafting a post about how much I love Cissie. I promise I don’t forget about her ❤️)

You can’t just tell us about how you have more Central City HCs without immediately telling us what they are!? That can’t be legal.
OKAY WELL BUCKLE UP CUZ THIS IS ALL HC AND PROBABLY NOT THE LEAST BIT CANON-COMPLIANT BUT HERE WE GO
Central actually has a far higher mortality rate than people realize, it’s just incredibly good at covering them up
The citizens have a very morbid sense of humour and absolutely no survival instincts, because fuck you that’s why
It’s canon in Flash Secret Files that the Flash Museum has people dress up as the Rogues and offer science lessons using the Rogues’ own weapons, which is why I think they just, in general, don’t give two shits
The Flash Museum canonically has exhibits detailing other hero team-ups that have involved a Flashfam, including the JL related ones. For this reason, the museum is one of the most historically accurate in terms of Hero legacy
A lot of ex-convicts actually work in the museum, usually recommended by a Flashfam. Some only stay until they get back on their feet, while others are permanent staff, and choose to stay on the payroll
It serves as Central’s main tourist attraction, and many items are assessed and evaluated there
At some point in the future, the entirety of Central City becomes a giant homage to Heroes, and the citizens could not be prouder of this legacy
A hero will never be harassed by paparazzi while in Central, because the citizens are so protective of them as a whole. For this reason, a lot of heroes choose to stay there if they need downtime but still want to be close should any pressing League matters arise
Central City knows a lot of secret identities, including the Flashfam, Batman, Red Hood, Superman, Green Arrow, Black Canary and Hawkgirl. These identities are never written or placed in the museum, and are kept safe-guarded by the citizens
Central was the first city to have a hero convention, and the mayor even sent a letter inviting the JL to attend
Batman was coerced into entering a Bat-cosplay competition. He lost to Clark Kent
Central is officially known as the “city that never stops moving”
Barry never wanted statues in his honour. When the local council decided to erect one anyways, it caused a huge divide within the City and, if not for Wally’s intervention specifically, would have resulted in riots
The consensus was that Wally would have a statue but Barry would not
It’s normal to see people taking selfies during villain attacks. It just happens, don’t worry about it
Digger and Evan have been banned from 10 different bars. None of these bannings were due to violence or drinking
“Captain Cold did it first!” - usually said in reference to someone praising Mr Freeze’s ice tech
Central and Gotham have a rogues gallery rivalry. Don’t think too hard on that one
They just fucking love to party my dude
Central and Metropolis used to fucking hate eachother with a passion
Whenever a Flashfam member dies, a city-wide memorial is held and the museum is closed for a week, as they deem it “disrespectful” for tourists to celebrate that Flashfam’s life so close to the death-date

Crossover prompt: Tony Stark meets Herobard!
“So you’re Eobard Thawne,”Eobard looks around to see Tony Stark walking towards him, looking like a man half dead. “So,” Tony Stark says, with a smile that doesn’t quite reach the bags under his eyes, “Should I be reassured that all the kids from the future are signing on to the Accords?”“It’s not this future anymore,” Eobard says, wishing he could say something else. “We changed the future when we came back - Bart and Jenni and me. Barry keeps reminding me.” “Guess that would be too easy, wouldn’t it?” Tony says.Eobard shrugs. “I’m still glad I signed.”“Thanks,” Tony says, and sounds like he means it. “Mind if I ask why? Didn’t sound like the whole - Flashfam was too excited about the whole idea.”“You’ve seen my file.”“Yeah,” Tony says, and Eobard has a feeling he understands. It doesn’t surprise him, he’s read Tony Stark’s file too.“The other guy - he scares everyone. And they’re right. I don’t want 115 countries to be scared of me.”Unexpectedly, Tony smiles, a little weakly. When he notices Eobard looking at him, he adds, “Sorry, you - you sounded like someone else for a second there.”Eobard watches Tony for a few more moments, but Tony doesn’t elaborate. “Also,” Eobard adds, “this team needs oversight more than any group of people I’ve ever known.”“Now that’s something.” Tony says with a laugh, “More than us?” “No offense, Mr. Stark,” Eobard says, “But the most powerful member of your team can throw cars around with her mind. We met an alternate version of my team where their Flash knowingly created a wormhole capable of devouring the entire planet because he went back in time to save his mother. And the way we met them is because of the other member of our team who can tear open breaches between realities.”He’s managed to make Tony Stark go speechless and a little slack jawed, which he’s a little pleased of himself for.“A wormhole - for -” He says, and then he ducks his head and laughs. “Oh god, that - I think that might actually be worse than Ultron. Oh god. I almost want -” He laughs more.Eobard smiles, a little forced.“Rest of the team didn’t feel the same way?” Tony asks, “Flash Gordon - this Flash - didn’t seem too happy about it.”“Barry sees someone in trouble, he wants to run in and help.” Eobard says with a faint smile. “I think Harrison was the least happy about it, when it came down to it. Government - governments - bringing in too many - interests.”“Harrison Wells…” Tony grins, “Yeah, we had some - discussions about the role of government contracts when he was first starting out. When we were both starting out.” “That sounds right.” “He had a point.” Tony says. “Some good points.” He admits.Eobard doesn’t say anything.“But you all signed.”“We did.”Tony smiles, a little bitter, a little sad. “Can I ask - I know the timeline has changed, but, can I ask - what happened to it, in your time? The Accords.”Eobard thinks, for a moment, decides - “They changed. They got better. The people changed.” He smiles, weakly.Tony lets out a breath. “The future’s never fixed,” Eobard continues, “There’s a timeline where I - the other guy - he’d kill you - and - and I’d make a joke about it.”“This isn’t that timeline.”“I know. But this isn’t my timeline either.” Eobard says, “You have to change it.”Tony laughs. “Of course I do.” He says, tired, then waves his hands. “Never thought ‘reframe the future’ would get this literal.”Eobard smiles.
