Good Omens Season 2 Spoilers

You know what? After a while of thinking, I dont want fix-it fics. Or Coffee Theory.

I want Aziraphale, as the new Head Archangel, to try to 'fix' heaven and convince Crowley to come up with him. I want him to realize how lonely it is up there but stubornly refuse to give up, because if he gives up then he admits that Crowley was right, and if Crowley was right then the entire fight was completely his fault. That he could have gone with Crowley and he didnt instead choose the side that has been playing him like a fool this entire time. He wants to prove himself right to affirm that this wasnt all for nothing. But most of all he wants to see Crowley just as happy as he was when they first met, when he was creating the stars. Not knowing that clinging to the memory of someone who disappeared so long ago blinded him to the fact that Crowley was content right where he was, with Aziraphale.

I want them to fight, I want to see the Messy Aftermath of their fights

And then Aziraphale can start healing, slowly but surely.

Recently I’m considering the radio tower scene might be a fake leak but thinking about it now I remembered Netflix and the Duffers themselves have been wanting to film the final season as soon possible (like contacting the actors minutes/hours after the strike), so with that I personally don’t see why would they waste time and money for a fake leak 🤷🏻‍♀️

I won’t write a LOT about it right now but all I’ll say is if the narrator had a difficult time finding out he had it….it’s worse for Tyler. Well maybe. Either he got diagnosed as a kid (along with other stuff) or he’s just living up till the age he is now, not knowing or thinking he can even have it.. which I’m sure is not good that he doesn’t know why he is the way he is sometimes. I dunno <_>

hiii!! i’m sorry it has taken me so long to get to this, but i have been pondering this ask for a few days lmao. tbh i don’t have a lot of hcs surrounding tyler having autism (but i would love to hear yours!!). i also have been doing a bit of research to try and find the right terms to vocalise the ones i do have, but if i get things wrong let me know!! (tw: mention of sh)

the couple that i have is personally i don’t think tyler knows that he has it, i also don’t think he knows much about autism and therefore hasn’t identified any traits he has etc. he just knows that he struggles internally sometimes and he doesn’t know why.

tyler doesn’t have many sensory issues i wouldn’t think (looking at the state of the paper street house and the different clothing materials that he always wears). and the ones he does have manifest in hyposensitivity in touch, for example he can feel really under-stimulated in lighter situations this can be him needing to seek different textures and things but this could also be another reason he starts fights and maybe puts cigarettes out on himself.

hyposensitivity also manifests in taste for him, such as seeking out spicy foods and strong flavours. say if he was ordering pizza, i think he would get a concoction of every ingredient on the menu on one pizza (the narrator would be truly horrified at this btw).

i feel like tyler would become really hyperfixated on certain topics and go on rants. like in the film when he is ranting about capitalism and consumerism. he would want to soak up all knowlage about topics that interest him, when he was a a teenager or even as he got older he would spend hours at the library or reading books he picked up at the thrift store, just researching one topic.

also i headcannon that tyler has a random comfort item (i know this is really ooc because of his whole material possessions beliefs but hear me out) something like a really ratty old blanket. and eventually the narrator is like “um tyler can you throw that thing away, it’s gross, we’ll find you a new one” and tyler is just like “i’d like to keep it 😐….it still works”

buts that’s all i can really think of rn :)) as i said if you have any hc’s please share them because i am very curious and would love to talk about it!!!

Instances where 1972 Snufkin bonded with/helped other creatures :D

At the same time, he preferred to keep his distance. He's often found resting or fishing—he's not a solid member of the Moomin gang per se—he only pops up there and then.

Add-on: 1972 Snufkin appreciates it when someone stands up for him/gives him a gift. For all the times he's been independent and helpful, he may never had someone care for him. It's more of a headcanon but I believe he's learned to be alone/lonely, in a way that he grew up to be a someone others depend on—so when someone does the caring/helping for him, he kind of breaks down.

Additional notes: He's friendly with pretty much everyone in the show. He never fought anyone, and he loved to help as much as possible to find the best outcome for everyone involved.

Dang Minwoo I was hoping for better than this…

So he’s pissed she got in through connections when she’s such a capable lawyer who should’ve been able to get in at the same time as everyone else but it takes 6months for her to do so… and suggests they can’t say a bad word against her bc she has ASD…

but doesn’t stop to think that it was BECAUSE of her ASD she couldn’t get into a law firm DESPITE her stellar academic records and performance…

He thinks the starting line was shifted in her favour because she got in through her dad’s connection to the CEO and thus the fact she has ASD is a burden on him when the starting line has always shifted AGAINST Young-woo, and she sent out applications EVERYWHERE for 6 MONTHS and didn’t get even a bite bc people were so focused on the fact she has ASD.

Not sure how articulate I’m being (and definitely cannot speak to the experiences of individuals with ASD or are neurodivergent) but then I’m trying to explain the absolute self-centredness of Minwoo’s logic and I hope he gets his head outta his ass soon bc we’re taking an unfortunate turn for his character… there are seeds of a good redemption here, bc I know he’s just parroting back the narrative that society has built to present those with disability (or in other “minorities”) as some kind of invasive species… but man this took him from kinda annoying to very unlikeable very quickly…

Hi again! Same anon here. Thanks for answering my other question. I have another, if you don't mind: To your knowledge, have any teams performed really badly during testing, but did a complete 180 and ended up performing really well during the races? Maybe even winning a WDC that season? Some people are saying testing doesn't matter, but others are in panic mode. Idk what to believe

Never really badly. Like there hasn't been a team that has been so shit and at the bottom who suddenly performed great. But also teams that rank first in testing don't always do well in the race either. Mostly because they're running their car harder than others trying to figure shit out before the season begins. Overall I agree with those that say preseason doesn't matter. We don't know what each team are looking for, or testing for or examining so how the cars rank can't really tell us much. Personally though I think being in the top 8 consistantly at least means something. But we won't know anything until the actual practice session of the first race.

AU Idea: Everything is the same except the Mo Family runs an opera troupe and Mo Xuanyu is one of the dan performers. He is a lousy actor with a decent singing voice. He forgets lines and has breakdowns a few minutes before the show starts. The troupe only allowed him to perform because they lack members and are desperate to climb the social ladder.

When people ask why the infamous ex-performer is hanging out with Hanguang-jun, Wei Wuxian gives an excuse that he's trying to learn music cultivation because his "family" was terrible and he wants to learn from a real musician

Have a pinned post with your name and links, like you would on twitter. You can also add links to your bio with html.

Find a blog theme that is very image friendly.

Create an art tag so people can find your work!! Especially if you also reblog others’ stuff onto your main. If you don’t feel like getting creative, #my art is a popular one.

Popular art tags here are # artists on tumblr, # my art, # illustration, and # drawing, or just simply # art. You can add as many tags as you want to a post, although only the first 20 or so are prioritized in search.

Pinned tags are now a thing? so like if you have a bunch of tags on your blog but only want a select few to show up, you do that in blog settings.

You can also turn on tipping on your posts to allow people to donate to you if you connect a Stripe account. I don't know specifics.

Create an art-only sideblog for people to follow if they don’t want to see all your reblogs.

Submit your art to blogs like @art or @artistalley for a chance at getting featured or reaching a wider audience!

ATSV Fun Fact!! - Mumbattan Cultural Details

Gayatri & Inspector Singh follow the Sikh Religion

Have you ever heard of Punjabi Sikhs?

If you don't know - Sikhism is a religion that originates in northern India, specifically Punjab.

The turban Gayatri's father wears - along with his last name 'Singh' implies that her father is most likely a Punjabi Sikh.

I notice this the first time watching ATSV and was like 'wow that's so cool :)'

It only hit me today that 'Oh wait I don't think a lot of people know about this very-specific, rarely-mentioned religion maybe i should say something,'

And because I LOVE yelling about world culture, LET'S GO!!!

[a SHORT essay where I explain the basics of Sikhism, a religion built on equality and justice. And details in The Singhs design, and exactly why Sikh Representation matters]

So What's Sikhism about?

Often mistaken for Muslims - Sikhs are actually a non-Abrahamic religion, with 20 million followers worldwide.

But even with so many visible practicing members, most people know very very little about this beautiful religion!

Sikhs believe in equality and unity - and defending the oppressed. Their book of faith, The Guru Granth Sahib Ji, is called 'Guru' for a reason - Sikhs see the book as not just a code of conduct, but as a living, breathing teacher for every practicioner;

From Wikipedia on Guru Granth Sahib: Sikhs since then [1708] have accepted the Guru Granth Sahib, the sacred scripture, as their eternal-living guru, as the embodiment of the ten Sikh Gurus, the highest religious and spiritual guide for Sikhs. It plays a central role in guiding the Sikh's way of life.

The Guru Granth Sahib is the spiritual leader of Sikhism, and it's treated as such.

That's why in Gurdwaras - their place of worship - it's treated as such, being clothed and held in ornate structure, constantly fanned throughout it's readings (the fan you can see in the left picture).

They believe that by following the Guru Granth Sahib Ji, they can cultivate compassion, peace, and harmony in their communities, while diminishing 'Mara' - concepts like hatred or violence.

Sikhs believe that every Sikh should revere themselves as champions of unity. And because of this many Sikhs have the same last name -

Kaur for women (Meaning Princess) and Singh for men (Meaning Lion).

Having the same last name also does away with the Indian caste system, making it another point of equality.

In ATSV Gayatri last name is Singh. However from my understanding, her name would most likely be Gayatri Kaur in reality.

I think they kept her last name as Singh as a deliberate choice to keep her initials as GS, like Gwen Stacy.

So is Gayatri Sikh?

Maybe - most likely.

But we can't be sure. Mainly because of her hair.

Gayatri has a short bob haircut, and while that might not seem like it matters, it does!

In Sikhism there are the '5K's - different aspects Sikhs wear to show their faith.

Notice the first one?

'Kesh' is the practice of leaving ones hair completely uncut. That's why you may see a lot of Sikh men with long, long beards!

And hence, the large turbans.

It's done as respect for God's creation - leaving it unaltered.

[Fun Fact! - Rastafarians, a Jamaican religion, also don't cut their hair for this reason. Think Bob Marley. Rastas call God - Jah]

So, Gayatri having short hair means she doesn't keep Kesh.

However, Sikh is a super accepting and open religion, and it's main focus is on acceptance of difference, not conformity - so she could entirely follow the faith without doing all of any of the 5Ks.

Also, if you're curious about the steel sword K - Kirpan, yes that's a thing!

Sikhs of all genders are encouraged to carry a small ceremonial blade with them.

Instead it's a symbol of the commitment to fighting for what's right - and defending those who cannot defend themselves.

A Kirpan can ONLY be used to defend the life of yourself or others, which is incredibly rare.

Why is this all so rad, cool, and important?

If you haven't noticed by now, Sikhism is a religion driven by justice. Not just in theory, but in really life as well.

That's why you may see many Sikh police officers and politicians, even here in the West. Most of them wearing the emblem on their turbans.

In fact, Canada has SO MANY Sikh politicians, that in 2019 they elected 18 of them.

For centuries Sikhs have been dedicated to justice, and developing systems of support, whether that be political involvement or feeding those in need.

The biggest Gurdwara (a place of Sikh worship) The Golden Temple feeds over 100,000 people A DAY.

For FREE.

It's a practice called Langar. A communal meal anyone can enjoy. And of course, Langar food is vegetarian.

Making Inspector Singh a Sikh - and showing him saving people and being warm to his daughter on screen is great representation for a community so often overlooked! Despite the fact they are over 20 million practicing Sikhs.

It's a great detail for Indian and Punjabi representation in specific. It accurate shows their beliefs and commitment towards helping others, no matter the cost.

And from what we can tell, this choice came later in development. We know this because ALL of his concept art shows him with a turban, not keeping Kesh.

It seems like someone later on down the line said 'Wait if his name is Singh I think he's Sikh and if he's Sikh then we're gonna have to redesign him and make that obvious oops'.

That, dear audience, is why you always have an Anthropologist in the writing room. Or some amateur anthropologist like me :)

I hope you enjoyed reading this, I really enjoyed writing it!! Sikhism is one of my favorite religions and if you have never heard anything from the Guru Granth Sahib I HIGHLY recommend it, it's very optimistic and compassionate. Sikhnet(.)com is also a great resource!

I have no idea if this will pique anyone's interest, but I hardly ever see Sikhs reflected in media and I know many many people may confuse them with Muslim, especially since many women Sikhs keep kesh and cover their hair as well.
