ELVIS' DEBUT ON TV — 📺 [CBS] The Dorsey Brothers 'Stage Show'

Elvis with Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey at CBS Studio 50, New York, March 17, 1956 [that would be Elvis' 5th appearance on their TV show, out of 6 total.].

By December 1955 Elvis had still not made an appearance on national television. His manager Colonel Tom Parker negotiated a deal through Steve Yates with CBS's "Stage Show" for four appearances on the show in January 1956 at $1,250 each and an option for two more at $1,500 each.

On the January 28, 1956, Elvis was broadcast for the nation for the very first time, performing "Shake, Rattle and Roll", "Flip, Flop and Fly" and "I Got a Woman".

On Elvis' first appearance on American television, Bill Randle, one of the most influential disc jockeys of the time, was the man who actually presented Elvis Presley to the nation. He said:

"We'd like at this time to introduce to you a young fellow, who like many performers, Johnnie Ray among them, come up out of nowhere to be overnight very big stars. This young fellow we met for the first time while making a movie short*. We think tonight that he's going to make television history for you. We'd like you to meet him now - Elvis Presley. And here he is!" — Bill Randle, Disc Jockey, the man presenting Elvis Presley to America for the first time. January 28, 1956.

After this, things would never be the same, specially the society. Such a good beginning for a year, that special day in a January month! ♥

🎞️THE SHORT-FILM THAT NEVER SAW THE LIGHT OF DAY (for the general public... at least until now...)

The movie short Bill Randle referred to during his introduction to Elvis was "The Pied Piper Of Cleveland - A Day In The Life Of A Famous Disc Jockey" a short film made by Universal pictures about Bill Randle himself. Filmed on October 20th, 1955, at a concert in Brooklyn High School, Cleveland, it featured the stars Bill Haley & The Comets, The Four Lads, Pat Boone, plus the addition of a little-known Elvis Presley.

The original forty-eight-minute film was supposed to be cut down to a twenty-minute "short" for national distribution, but never made it that far. We're in 2024... 69 years went by since this shortcut was produced but the movie remains unreleased.

There is some dispute over whether or not this film actually exists, although it's said it was shown publicly, albeit only once in Cleveland, and excerpts were also aired on a Cleveland television station in 1956. Marshall Lytle, bass player for Bill Haley's Comets, corroborates the existence of the film in his memoir, "Still Rockin' Around the Clock", but he makes the unsubstantiated claim that Colonel Tom Parker, Presley's manager, bought the film and destroyed the existing copies. According to historians, tho, DJ Bill Randle, before his death in 2004, sold the rights to the film to PolyGram (it has been reported that Universal Studios has the negatives of the film in its vaults).

Much uncertainty about this short film, but can you imagine this film being release in Elvis' birthday centenary celebration? We watched, and listened, on Elvis' 89th birthday a few days earlier this year, to them playing during his birthday celebration at Graceland the original "That's All Right" record as it was cut at Sun Records studio in 1954, so who knows? There's always rare things surfacing here and there, so... we better keep our hopes this Bill Randle's 1955 movie, with some new 'baby Elvis' footage, will be release any day now [such as we know there's 'Elvis On Tour' and 'Elvis: That's the Way It Is' never seen before footage coming our way, as confirmed by the "Elvis" 2022 biopic's film director, Baz Luhrmann — finally! We hope it will be released soon].

But enough daydreaming... Back to Elvis' 1st television appearances.

After the premiere on America's television on January 28th, 1956, Elvis would do five more appearances on 'The Dorsey Brothers Stage Show" for the next eight weeks. Those would take place on February 4, February 11, February 18, March 17 and March 24th, 1956.

* This is the usual arrangement for the "Heartbreak Hotel" song. On February 11th, 1956, Elvis performed this same song onstage of 'The Dorsey Brothers Show' but it sounded something more… dramatic (I guess it matched the lyrics after all, but I love the usual arrangement better yet).

We can see how on those first TV shows Elvis still looks quite shy. Although he moves the usual lot, he doesn't flirt with his audience as much as he would on the upcoming TV appearances (and throughout his life, actually). It's funny how he grew comfortable with being in front of the cameras so fast tho. As his photographer Wiliam Speer said, "I guess you must really like being photographed."

EDIT: THE BLUE MOON BOYS

I hate it when I forget to mention such important, trivial, facts — and this shouldn't be footnote info and I feel guilty it is now but I forgot mentioning — The Blue Moon Boys. I love them so much! I watch those footage looking at them as much as I look at Elvis.

Like, I love Bill Black's energy onstage! I love him hollering, vibing to their sound, as loud as Elvis (on occasion). I love how he seem to love chewing gum (Bill is chewing gum in some of those footage), because it makes me look at the Blue Moon Boys and Elvis as a unit, real close friend who look alike, just how it should be. We know although EP for obvious reasons can't chew gum while singing, he loooooved gum and kept this - should I say "habit?" - throughout his life. It's sounding silly what I'm saying, I know, but I think this Elvis habit in fact date from back when he was rocking onstage with Bill, Scotty and DJ Fontana and it makes my heart warm how close and similar they seem to be, as friends, real friends. Bill is actually said to be the one cheering the crowds onstage when they first begun performing, when Elvis was still learning how to be the great leading man he became. When EP was still learning how to act onstage, how to manipulate the audience, creating the mad passionate reactions he learned to create whenever he wanted, Bill was the one heating things up, joking with the audience, cheering, hollering. Bill is amazing! His energy is intoxicating, and we can see it clearly on those first TV appearances performances. ♥

I also love how hot Scotty Moore looks! I kinda laughed thinking 'Oh my goodness' ... So this thing about rock and roll bands always having hot vocalists and hot guitar players as a rule, it looks like it all started from the 50s with EP and Scotty! (really, at least the singer and guitar player in most rock bands are hot AF, am I lying? *lol*). I have a thing for Scotty... When he smiles at times on those footage, I'm like: 🤤🥹🥴🫠 And I also love how he's elegant but at the same time menacing looking holding and playing his guitar like the guitar hero he was. Really, if you haven't yet, do yourself a favor and read Scotty's book "THAT'S ALL RIGHT, ELVIS: The Untold Story of Elvis' First Guitarist and Manager, Scotty Moore", by Scotty as told to James Dickerson (1997). Scotty's life story is fascinating and as interesting as Elvis'. ♥

And last, but never least, I love how together, calm and concentrated DJ Fontana looks. Ok, unfortunately being the drummer has it's disadvantages. We can't see DJ Fontana as much as we see the other boys onstage, but I listen to the songs until the very last minute and it's amazing how the music always has the closing, the important and dramatic ending, done by DJ's talented hands. I love that guy. ♥

Elvis Presley and The Blue Moon Boys were the best rock and rollers! I love their energy together. As much as I adore 70s Elvis onstage, the TCB Band, the Sweets Inspirations and all, if I only had one performance of Elvis' I could attend, just one to choose, I would go for - undoubtedly - the 50s ones, when those guys, The Blue Moon Boys and Elvis, were playing together.

That's Rock and Roll royalty. ✨👑 ♥

you guys are basically attached at the hip, young love and all, so dates are frequent. but when he became ur caregiver, he wanted to make sure you knew he wanted to do this and be there for you 1000%. he also wanted to help you with regressing regularly to help you cope with stress. you once told him that you hadn’t regressed once in like 5 months and it was not fun when you finally did, he learned abt “improper” regression that night and never wanted to let it happen to you again 🥹

even before he found out you were a little, it was always sweetheart, bunny, angel, pretty girl, baby, princess etc that boy loves you so much and he shows it. after though he added in little one, babybug, tiny, dolly…anything that makes you feel especially small

this man is 6’2, he makes chad look small he towers over you and absolutely loves it. so he takes advantage of it when he can, piggyback rides are a common occurrence. he loves just holding you in his lap, seeing ur tiny body take up such little space and fit perfectly on him, makes him 🫠

xander can do a bunch of weird stuff with his body and i know this sounds weird but he's like double jointed and can pop every bone in his body and cross his eyes and stuff like that

avery always steals whatever libby makes from the kitchen when she gets hungry in the middle of the night

jameson is the kind of person to curse all of the time but then he had to learn not to do it as much because avery thought it was annoying

xander was terrified to meet max's parents but they loved him

grayson had a phase where he watched "keeping up with the kardashians" when he was desperate for entertainment

jameson didn't know half of the rooms in hawthorne house existed until he was like thirteen because he always spent time in the same four rooms

grayson gives surprisingly good gifts for christmas and stuff

whenever max has a problem she screams the taylor swift song that she's assigned to the problem (same tho don't we all)

jameson likes the movie titanic because avery made him watch it

nash has a super high heat tolerance because he was the brother who was always out in the blistering texas sun for no reason

at some point when jameson was like eleven he had to start giving his phone to skye at night because he would always be playing roblox on it when he was supposed to be sleeping

jameson still plays roblox sometimes

grayson was one of the kids who had the erasers in the second grade and he took pride in them

off topic but would grayson like wear normal clothes when he was younger because for some reason i imagine him as an eight year old wearing suits to the third grade

at least once every few months max and xander watch all of the marvel movies together over the span of a week

Such a sweetheart, but I think he would panic just a lil bit

When you’re cramping he just feels so sad he can’t take the pain away

Always is trying to make you laugh

When you’re trying to sleep, he plays with your hair and sings to you 🥺

He tries very hard to not annoy you during this time of month because he understands how bad it is for you

He’s trying his best to be there for you when you need him <3

When you’re off your period tho he’s absolutely gonna say “oh thank god it’s over”💀

Personally, I feel like tae would try to avoid you 💀💀

Like maybe not even intentionally, but if he knows you’re on your period, he might try not to talk to you as much because he doesn’t want to hurt your feelings accidentally somehow ?

But he will absolutely cuddle you

And do anything you ask him to do

YandereJake Peralta hcs

Jake is a very sweet, loving, manipulative, protective, obsessive and sometimes delusional yandere

If you have seen the show then you know when Jake gets his into something or sets his heart on something he is all in

And he happened to set his heart on you

Since Jake is a cop he has seen some crappy things. And because of that he is very very protective. He won't even let you in the precient because he is afraid some criminal will target you or put the moves on you

When you first started dating he loved it when you stopped by and dropped off lunch or ate with him. But he was still nervous.

His desk started to kinda become a shine of you. There are photos of you and him everywhere. Jake also has things from your dates on his desk. He kept the cup you guys shared on your 5th date

When Jake has to go into witness protection he stalks you online to no end

You joined the precinct to go help him and Holt. But Jake forced you to stay with Gina and Holt. But of course you three saved the day.

"Y/N!?" Jake yelled when he saw you in the truck. "Hey babe!" You yelled, then ran to him once you saw his blood. You took him to the ambulance then left to check on the rest of thw gang. When you came back you kissed Jake and asked him how he is doing. Jake proceeds to tell you it hurts and he didn't wanna seem week in front of cool EMT Craig. "Do you know my blood type?" He asked. You nodded yes and told him it was B positive. Jake gives you a strange look, "Well, guessed wrong. HEY CRAIG?!"

Not seeing you for 6 months seriously messed with him. He starts to become extra clingy and childish. "I didn't get to see you for 6 months babe! Your friends have seen you more than I have. If you're still gonna go see them than at least let me come with you.

Jake loves to cuddle trap you and make you watch Die Hard

He also loves playing games with you. Especially if you're a bit competitive.

If you do something he doesn't like then he will manipulate you buy making you feel sorry. " You're the only person who has ever made feel this way. And this is how you repay me?"

When Jake goes to prison his side of the room is covered in photos of you. All he does is think about you and his case.

Eventually when he gets freed he will immediately propose to you. But it will still be romantic.

If you say yes (how could you not?) Then the wedding will be amazing. Even with all the bumps that happen. But, if you say no then Jake will seriously gaslight and manipulate you. He'll even start to be aggressive with you. Jake will wear you down tho and you'll say yes.

Most yanderes kill for their love. But since Jake knows a bit better, he'll threaten anyone who is in his way or gets too close to you.

As time goes by more incidents will happen and eventually Jake will kidnap you.

You can fight and scream all you want but Jake is a cop. He is prepared for situations with unstable/upset people.

He'll work extra hard on your case to throw everyone off his scent. He'll even cry at work.

In the beginning of your 'transitioning', Jake will chain you up and lock you in your shared bed room. But if you behave for a while then you'll be allowed to roam around your home. But the windows are locked and painted shut. The doors have six locks on them. And there are cameras everywhere.

Jake's punishments are mental and possibly slight semxual (he believes you do certain things to get the semxual punishments. He is a dominate masochist imo)

He will also take away some of your privileges, such as entertainment and warm clothes (Jake will get a great view and you'll be forced to cuddle him for warmth) and the ability to do things for yourself.

When he has had a hard day from 'working' on your case, he'll yank you from where ever you may be hiding and cuddle you while watching movies

Don't try to escape. Its not worth it. If you try to escape Jake will either catch you or learn about your failed attempt. That will cause him to get angry. He'll break/throw things, yell, and gaslight you.

If you do somehow manage to escape he'll use his ties to the law/NYPD and his detective skills to find you and bring you back home. And he will be PISSED.

"I TAKE CARE OF YOU. I LOVE YOU. YOU ARE MY WIFE, I LEGALLY OWN YOU!". "You are all I have! How could you do this to me!"

When your case finally goes cold he'll retire and find a job to do at home.

If you want him to do something or get you something then do what he wants/likes. For example, you want a new game? The cuddle with him and play with his hair. Want more supplieses for your hobby, then cook for him (you'll need his help if you need to cut something. All the sharpe objects are locked up) and tell him how much you love him

He loves to indulge you in your hobbies/ things you love. Just be good and he'll give you what you need or want.

Jake is a scary yandere. But he loves you more than anything. Just love him back

"Please Y/N, just love me again. You're all I need."

In addition to this , some more headcannons I came up with:

- when Disturbed releases the cover of 'Sound of Silence' the Party has regular arguments about wich version of the song is better. Max, Eddie, Mike, Erica (surprisingly), Dustin and Johnathan like Disturbed's version better while Steve, Will, Robin, Nancy and Argyle like Simon & Garfunkel's version. El and Lucas like both.

- the entire party went on a camping trip once, Steve and Eddie sharing a tent & inflatable matress. Eddie was already asleep and hidden under some blankets when Steve full body flopped down on the other side of the mattress, effectively yeeting Eddie off to the ground. Eddie is still mad (not really tho)

- Hop and Steve have the inofficial nicknames 'Barbecue Dad' and 'Barbecue Dad jr.' because they sometimes have such Dad energy

- the Party has a burp off at least once a month. It started as a bet between Dustin and Mike to see who can burp more of the alphabet. Neither of them got further than D. Max got involved and got to G, after that everyone tried it at least once until Eddie burped out 'I love you' getting him disqualified for disgusting romantic behaviour. Steve tells him he's still the winner.

- Eddie makes super random noises. Sometimes involuntarily, sometimes not (sometimes its just a hiccup getting stuck in his throat). After being confused the first few times witnessing it, the Party started calling them 'Eddie noises' as explanation

- Robin and Steve talk about everything in their lives. They have no shame or secrets from the other. Sometimes they're so absorbed into a conversation that they forget about the Party being present, they've been banned from having conversations about their respective sex lives when children are present. (It lasted for a week, then the others gave up)

- all members of the Party always have lil boxes with band aids & emergency period products on them. Contents may vary from person to person

- both Eddie & Steve snore. Loudly and a lot. They're usually separated from the rest of the party during sleepovers for the sake if everyone's nerves

- Steve doesn't like his birthday very much because its a day before his mom's. When he was younger he was allowed to have his friends over but they had to be out of the house before the next day. As he got older his and his mom's birthday were celebrated together, with his parent's associates and none of his friends. It basically stopped being 'his special day' because everything was for his mother and adults. He only began to like it again when he met the Party and celebrated with them.

- Eddie does steal stuff sometimes, but only at big stores (like idk Walmart or something, you know what I mean). He does support the smaller businesses tho and has a no-stealing policy for them.

- Steve doesn't like to be called 'mom' or 'dad' by the kids. He says they already have parents and he's just their babysitter/big brother

- When Steve first kissed Eddie (while watching a movie and cuddling), Eddie pushed him away, mumbling 'don't' because he was panicking. Steve was of course a bit heartbroken, but after Eddie explaining that he did in fact like him and likes kissing him and just being super overwhelmed by everything they tried again and it was very much worth it

Mother's Day is coming up so here's my top 5 movies to watch with mom or grandma

I lost my mom a year ago but it only feels like a month, and I was really close to my mom and grandma my whole life. Like, I came to them for everything. They were the two people I love most and I still love them most. Here's some movies I recommend for Mother's Day, and you can sit and have a fun time with your mom or grandma and watch these, there's some funny ones on the list.

(Sing a bit of Harmony, 2021) This one isn't really a mother-daughter story but the mother plays an important role in the story by building Shion in the first place. It's about a robot girl who can sing, but everyone has to keep it a secret. Shion causes trouble for the main character, when she's supposed to be there for good reasons. I'm not gonna give spoilers, just watch it!

(CatDog & the Great parent Mystery, 2001) The only conjoined twin who happen to be a cat and dog, have to set off to find their parents. The majority of the movie doesn't have much to do with the parents, but the fact that they look so hard to find them is the point. I chose it for mother's day mostly because my grandma and I were huge CatDog fans, and my mom kind of was too. Yes, it's basically a long episode of the cartoon series, I consider it a movie because it was 40 minutes long, but it was basically a long episode. Actually, a lot of Nickelodeon shows had movies, besides SpongeBob. CatDog was just one of the lesser known "Nicktoons".

(Storks, 2016) Oh gosh, this one is an all time favorite of mine, and my mom loved it too. A lot of people liked it, but I still think it's underrated. Some people are super picky about movies, but I think this movie appeals to me in a lot of ways. The characters are adorable. I LOVE the designs, especially Tulip's. Like, she looks more like a normal girl and not a Disney princess. She looks cute, but they didn't try to make her look "sexy" or anything, they just make her look like a normal girl. Junior's design is also adorable and I love birds, and I love the adorable babies in it too. The story is amazing and shows a different perspective for once, like the fact that they're trying to get the baby to her family meanwhile Tulip has to find her family, but focuses on the baby first! It's incredible and I suggest to anyone!

(WonderPark, 2019) I'm not sure why this movie gets so much hate, it's actually a beautiful movie! Yes, it's not perfect, but I can tell that they worked hard on the story and I feel like they were really trying to appeal to the 9-12 year old audience, because this is almost like a coming-of-age type of story and has a lot to do with the girl's imagination and depression, with her mother being far away. It's better than a lot of movies, in my opinion, but it's not one of my top favorites. It's super emotional and I don't like crying a lot.

(Brave, 2011) Okay, this one of the only Disney movies I don't cringe at, you know me, I'm not a Disney fan! I don't recommend this for Mother's Day because it's a bit sad, not for me at least. If you and your mother or grandmother enjoy this, then go ahead! I never watched it with my mom or grandma. (When I was a kid, my uncle took me to see it in theaters, and then when we rented the DVD of it at the library, the disk was all beat up, and as my mom and grandma got older, my mom refused to watch it because of it being to sad). I don't gotta describe the movie, everyone knows Brave! One of the best Disney movies in my opinion. Mulan, Brave, Luca, and Encanto are probably the bests in my opinion, although Teen Beach Movie and Lilo & Stich are good too, not my favorite tho. I'm just not a Disney fan, even though I like some of their movies.

Anyway, you heard about my favorites, now. I could have added Duck Duck Goose but it's not really a Mother's Day one. It could be I guess, but it could be a Father's Day one too. My mom watched it on Father's Day in 2020 because my dad was watching his wild west movies LOL, I'm glad I had her! Hi Arrow. Do you recommend trying TF2? I like the funny guys but I have no FPS experience

Em. I am gripping you by the face. I have not been thinking about anything besides TF2 for the past two months. I absolutely recommend it.

I’m also not really big into FPSs, but I really enjoy the gameplay for it. There’s a fairly outdated tutorial you can play where it walks you through how to play a few of the classes that I found helpful to get a feel for the game, but there’s also offline training with bots that you can play to get a little more practice with each class until you feel comfortable enough to play online (if you even want to).

There’s also a lot of custom maps that people make just to be silly on (the Mario kart and McDonald’s maps come to mind lol). I’m personally a big fan of Mann vs Machine, where you and five others just fight waves of robots.

The game isn’t super great at walking you through things, so you would probably need to either have someone play with you to explain things or do some quick research on it, like reading the wikis or watching some videos about it. It’s pretty easy to pick up once you get it tho!

Also, TF2 has had a huge problem with bots in the past few years, so to be able to communicate through chat, voice commands, or voice chat, you have to spend at least $5 on the game. I just bought some silly cosmetics from the community shop, but you can also buy taunts and other weapons if you want.

There’s a ton to explore in the game and I learn something new every time I play tbh!!!

But!!! If you want to enjoy the silly guys without playing the game!!!! There’s comics!!!!!!!!!!!

There’s a lot of smaller comics that were released to introduce new updates which is really fun, but then there’s the main comic series that focuses on a big overarching plot that’s sooooo funny and silly and heartbreaking <333

It also (imo) helps establish some of the characters in really interesting way. Like they’re all fucked up little clown dudes, but the comics give a bit of insight for some of them. A couple of the characters get brushed over a bit because there’s nine of them and you can only do so much, but it still did a damn good job of getting me attached to them all.

The only problem is…it’s not finished. The second to last comic was published in 2017 and the last one has been “coming soon!” since then. :( I’d still recommended it tho bc the comics are really good! The art is gorgeous and everyone is sooooo silly.

AND if you don’t want to do THAT! Theres the Meet the Team videos that Valve made to introduce each of the mercs, plus a few other videos for updates and other things. I LOVE these. I watch em all the time lol. My personal favs are Spy, Pyro, and Medic but it doesn’t take long to watch them all.

AND THEN There’s a whole wide internet of SFMs (SourceFilm Maker) on YouTube!! A lot of them are super silly YouTube poop-like videos that are rawrXDomgLOL random. This isn’t super my thing so I don’t have any recs unfortunately.

But there was an SFM recently released called Emesis Blue that is driving me to the brink. It’s a full length psychological horror/thriller movie that’s like TF2 but real fucked up. It’s been living in my brain for a solid week. It lowkey kinda gave me nightmares so you may check out the Does the Dog Die page for it if you’re sensitive to horror, or skip it all together.

Also kind of a blanket trigger warning for all media listed is blood, guns, violence, and bodies exploding into cartoon meat chunks. Fun stuff lol.

So there’s a lot of ways to enjoy the fun mess that is TF2. Let me know if you get into it bc hooooly shit I love this funny hat game so much.

Deadly Valentine

2023 December edit: This is still centered on Valentine's day, I wanted to share it again because hey guess who got dumped, I rewrote some parts but overall still the same - End of the edit

I wrote this in the same way I write my own books or fanfics, so yeah, It may look weird?

A long, loud beeping sound echoed in Kevin’s room, it didn't matter, Kevin was already awake

It's hard to get used to sleep alone once you’re already used to sleep with someone else, to wake up and see the face of your loved one

Well, he still doesn’t have time to, it’s Valentine’s Day, obviously the Candy Club had to be open, and since they weren’t giving free candy he would at least get more money than he did on halloween

It’s been 5 months since the accident happened, 5 months since that sick fuck killed his boyfriend, 5 months and he wasn’t able to move on

He didn’t even had time to mourn

God, he hated Halloween even more

And he was just about to start hating Valentine’s Day as well, even if he didn’t had a free day, he could always take dinner with Streber, or watch movies, anything

There’s nothing now

Better to go to work, if he’s lucky enough there won’t be a lot of annoying costumers

Maybe the spooky kids won’t ever appear today to drive him nuts

Oh what a day it would be...

He heard the sound of door opening, sadly, it wasn’t a normal costumer

The day was surprisingly calm, a lot of kids coming to buy candys for gifts, either for friends, familys or partners

Must be nice, at least other people was going to enjoy Valentine’s day, but it was still hard to see couples being so lovey-dovey knowing he won't get the chance to do that anymore

—… Here we go —Kevin sighed as he saw Skid and Pump entering the store, he didn’t have the energy to do anything

— Hi Kevin!

—Two candy cans please!

—Are you two kids going to pay this time at least?

—I’m not in the mood for this —He reached for the candy cans and gave it to them— Just get out

Ah, they forgot there’s no free candy on Valentine’s day, only discounts

Pump tried to search for money on his pockets, there’s no money on his pockets, he’s just trying to pretend there is

—Thanks Kevin!

—Oh! What are you gonna do today?

—What?

—For the spooky Valentine’s day!

—You two just add “Spooky” to everything, don’t you?

—Because it is Spooky!

—So? —Skid returned to the first question

Pump sounded really proud about that

They were getting really annoying today, why aren’t they gone yet? Don't they have anything else to do

—I’m working, that’s what I’m doing, now go

—Aw…

—Huh, I could’ve sworn you… You really aren’t doing anything today? —At least Skid was confused, he was pretty sure he heard Kevin mentioning having a partner at least once

He never got to meet him tho, at least that’s what he thought

—Yes, I’m pretty sure

—Mom bought me some lollipops

The kids looked at each other and shrugged

Skid took out a lollipop from his pocket and offered it to Kevin

—You already had candy? And yet you came for more?

—I wanted a Candy Can!

—The lollipops are for sharing

Kevin took the lollipop, it was one of those heart shaped ones with a pink packing, it had a cheesy message on the back, it was hard to read

—… Thanks kids

—Your welcome Kevin!

—Let’s go to the forest! —The kids got out of the Candy Store with the cans, heading out to the forest, they're really loud when they're running

It wasn’t really safe but at this point Kevin knew that he could do little to nothing to stop them

At least there wasn’t any kind of weird shit today

At least he got a lollipop

At least Valentine wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been...

RANDOM HEADCANONS

A collection of fun ideas I have about ROTTMNT and TMNT 2012.

Rise

The boys eyes glow in the dark.

While the 2012 guys have that somewhat creepy thing where their eyes go white, Rise just have creepy glowing eyes. Really creepy considering they have weirdly bright eyes.

Mikey painted on Leo’s marking on his body when he was younger. Donnie’s too. Leo’s just more often. He also made spikes to match with Raph. As he got older, he made three sweaters, each one made to match with his big brothers.

Raph likes having Make-Up on. The only problem is his hands aren't steady enough to do it him self. Mikey and Leo learned how to do it for Raph. They like wearing Make-Up too. But putting it on Raph was the reason they learned how to. Donnie makes sure that they only get the best stuff. Only the best stuff for his brothers.

They have self-care days with April. After Season 2 Cassandra joins in too and after the Movie Casey too. It always ends in a turtle pile while watching a Jupiter Jim Movie. Sometimes even a Lou Jitsu Movie.

The turtles jokingly call Draxum their mom. It started as a joke form Leo. Turns out Yoke don't have a concept of gender like humans do and Dram didn't really mind. The all have Draxum saved as some form of mom in their phones.

The boys used to share a bed for years. Until Mikey was about 7, the twins were 8 and Raph was 9. They still do that a lot. Most nights they sleep in their own beds but at least once a week they get every blanket and built a pillow fort in the living room and sleep there.

After the season 1 finale/season 2 premier, the season 2 finale and the movie they slept in the pillow fort for like two weeks.

Mikey banned all of his brothers from the kitchen. It's his kitchen.

Casey is a dumpster baby. Cassandra found him abandoned and all. She just picked him and an decided that she's a mom now.

Casey calls the teen versions of the turtles by their nicknames while the future ones stay Master Leonardo and so on. It helps him differentiate between the two versions.

He had a talk with Cassandra about the whole son from the future thing. He feels weird calling her mom, since she isn't the woman that raised him and she likely will never be. There was an awkward time between them at first. They became good friends soon enough.

Casey is everyones little brother. Mikey was so excited to be a big brother. Even if Casey is only a few months younger than him.

Casey is the only one spared of Dr. Delicate Touch. Not Dr. Feelings tho.

Mikey is teaching Casey how to cook. He enjoys it a lot.

Casey lives with the turtles in the lair.

Leo finally got everyone those matching unicorn onesies. Everyone loves them.

Leo and Donnie did that thing where twins switch for a day when their were younger. Mikey and Raph noticed immediately but Splinter, due to his poor eyesight didn't noice, he felt like something was off but didn't know what.

They still do it today, they just know they need a little more preparations. Donnie has a battle shell that looks exactly like Leos and a shell cover for Leo to look like his battle shell. They even pull out body paint. Mikey and Raph still noticed instantly, their eyes are wrong but let them have their fun anyway.

Mentioning their eyes, they have mismatched heterochromia. Their eyes are red and blue.

Donnie, Raph and Leo kept every single drawing Mikey ever made for them on one of their room walls. April has a folder with every drawing from him. Splinter also kept every drawing any of his sons ever gave him in folders.

Whenever Donnie wants a hug he'll walk up to one of his brothers and stare at them. When they look at him he just opens his arms.

Raph sometimes picks up one of his brothers and hold them like a baby to get them to sleep. It still works every time. Surprisingly enough it also works with Casey.

April tries to do the same for Raph but her version is more of a hug because of Raphs size. It works nonetheless.

One of the main reasons April gets jobs is so she can spoil her brothers. Every time she gets paid she comes to the layer with small gifts for each of them. A new plushie for Raph, a few parts for Donnie, a new comic for Leo and new set of pens for Mikey.

They get incredibly giddy every time she does it.

Cassandras Girl Scouts know about the turtles. She proclaimed one day that her new brothers and sister will be joining them take over the world and told the girls to respect them. The girls just ran with it.

Mikey comes by the most. He likes helping with new recipes. They made different recipes for everyones favorites and sell them. Leos favorite sell the best.

Cassandra felt out of place with the gang for a while until they casually mentioned that they have two older sisters now. She didn't cry, you're imagining shit.

She didn't have the best home life and that's why she joined the foot in the first place. She always wanted a real family. Now she has that and she'll do anything to keep her family safe.

2012

Mikey made bracelets when he was younger for all four of them. They don't fit them anymore but all of them still have them.

They've been meaning to remake them together but there wasn't any time. April and Casey eventually get them everything to make those bracelets.

April and Casey got the turtles sweaters for one of their birthdays. They wear them constantly.

They chose their masks themselves. Splinter brought found them and just brought them back to the lair. The boys liked them a lot. He always kept an eye open for fabrics in the respective colors ever since.

They made pillow forts regularly growing up.

Mikey still makes them after a long day and gets his brothers to have a turtle pile in there.

They occasionally talk in Japanese. Casey and April were a little confused at first, but slowly picked up a few things.

They do call Splinter dad sometimes. They used to do it more often when they were younger though. They also refer so Tang Shen as mom sometimes.

At one point Mikey called Karai Nee-chan. She almost cried. She brought him a pizza the next day, only him.

The girls have a girls night every once in a while. Sometimes they drag Leo along. He's an honorary girl. He really needs the break.

Leo likes typical feminine things. His brothers are sure that if they were human he would be a pretty boy and maybe even be mistaken as a girl. Not that he would mind that.

Donnie is incapable of saying no to Casey. He just can't. Casey knows this and abuses the power he has over Donnie.

Casey doesn't only use this power to get stuff out of it. He regularly drags Donnie out of his lab to get him to eat, take a break and sleep.

Casey's hair would actually be somewhat curly, if he took proper care of it. He eventually starts doing that.

Casey and Donnie are dating. Change my mind.

Raph and Mona have date night every Thursday. Their idea of date night consists of going on partol, getting some food and then cuddling while watching a movie.

Mona bridal carries Raph a lot. He gets all flustered every time.

Chompy thinks Mona is his second mom.

The brothers tend to just hang out in Donnies lab. Everyone is just doing their own thing. They do it more often after a stressful day or after one of them got injured badly.

They also used to seep in the same bed for a few years. Only until they were about 5 though. That's when they got their own rooms.

Nowadays they don't really do that anymore. They did however sleep in a turtle pile with Casey and April for the first few weeks in space.

After Splinter died the four also slept together for weeks. The whole living room was basically one huge bed for them for like a month or two.

Everytime u mention william's intense hatred for vulnerability and constant need for control...man he just like me fr💔 anyway my beloved author i have arrived with a new idea: william and a s/o who's just obsessed with car trips so they'll always insist he takes them for a drive (or even offer to drive themselves when he's too tired for that in case of a bigger trip). They're the kind to piss him off on purpose when they flick the radio to a rock station and turn it up while spazzing the fuck out in the passenger seat as they fix their makeup casually. Also bonus points if they stop in case of an issue and he gets to take a look under the hood bc they think its the most attractive shit ever watching their beast of a boyfriend work on machinery💯💜 insert rihanna's shut up and drive here - will kinnie anon

(me too bestie..me too </3 BUT YEAHHH ROAD TRIP REQUEST! fits well cuz I came back from one like..a month ago or so during my school break.[it was hell btw,got sunburnt on my legs and back </3] and this post will be a bit longer- mostly just me rambling tho )

William actually loves road trips! He kinda just hates he’d have to bring Michael and Liz along but accepts the fact since you seem them as your kids also. (the two have fun btw..they barely got out of the house till you came around-)

William has to buy a whole fucking van for trips since his poor car can barely even hold itself together at this point. Yeah it’s all shiny but trust me that thing has been through things.

The one thing he hates is having to pack everything,plus since we both know Liz has to bring every My Little Pony toy show owns but Michael just packs some clothes,hair brush,toothbrush,ya know..stuff ya actually need!

You have to basically beg him to take at least two weeks off work for road trips,since one time you has suggested Las Vegas and he just stared wide eyed at you. “Luv,i’d love to but taking the kids plus you would cost a lot just for a simple hotel! Vegas is expensive!” - Will,who still took you and the kids.

That trip to Vegas was probably chaos,but we won’t get into that-

The trip you all went on was to California (which was a 12 hour drive..help Will istg-) As soon as William started driving you turned on the radio,flipping it to one of the rock stations which made Will hissy as hell since he couldn’t even focus on driving.

Tbh,if this was to take place in the 2000′s,he’d fucking LOVE songs from 2016/ect like “Summer”,”Shut up and dance” you know the songs im talking about- (ones i grew up with and fucking love-)

He does let Michael and Liz pick music though,Michael likes playing Green Day and My Chemical Romance and you can fight me on that- Liz prefers Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

Michael and Liz are the siblings to fight over the smallest things in the backseat- Will always has way to keep them quiet though,as i said this takes place at least during early 2000′s so he just makes the two watch a movie they both like on the Liz’z tablet.

William likes to talk about the most..random stuff on roadtrips,for example if you two would ever get married,what the wedding would be like,ect. (sncifief he gets soft at random moments,alright?-)

The type of dude to hold your hand while he drives-

You two for sure take turns driving,he’d drive for a few hours and once you two stop at a gas station for gas you could drive. He also makes sure to buy more snacks for everyone and drinks since Liz probably eats all hers in the first few hours. (tbh,michaels a slow eater so you don’t gotta worry about him)

Will’s nice enough to stop at Mcdonalds for everyone,he may despise the place but it’s to keep Liz quiet.

He also enjoys just watching you drive and looking at you in general during the trip. He likes to see you smile and enjoy yourself. (please remind him that he also makes the trip better,he’s actually worried he’s making the road trip 10x worse-)

If there was something wrong with the car,Will would be fucking pissed- He had just got this van for 200 dollars and he was not letting it die that fast. Okay one..okay yeah you really think him looking under the hood is the most attractive thing for sure-

I mean the fucker unbuttoned a few of his buttons on his shirt cuz he said he was hot and all you could do was look respectfully- (once he’s done he’d just glare asking “..why did yew enjoy that?” “you’re attractive. that's why-”)

basically their vibe is when takeomi is too tired of bonten's shit he visits natsu's tiny flat and she cooks spaghetti or smth that they have with wine before they slow dance to music playing on the old record player she stole from her parents when moving out and when they're sleepy enough they put on a shitty old movie and fall asleep cuddling trying to watch it. also they go to clubs together, they are friends though often get mistaken for a couple, and they have kissed quite a bunch of times. not sure if this part is canon but they might've fucked a bunch of times too and i can assure you if they did they both stood on a balcony to smoke together afterwards they 100% smoke and drink together (maybe a little too often) and their whole thing is pretty ride or die oriented,, they're together to have fun and forget the shitty parts of their lives. to be themselves for once. to have someone who understands and relates

also natsu is the oldest of five siblings and she fucked up all of her sibling relationships bc she used to be in a gang and her siblings are still all in a gang, all the same one, but a different one from hers. and yeah shit went down when their gangs fought and natsu's won. she'd now like to fix her relationship with her siblings but they don't even accept her calls most of the time and it's even more one-sided than takeomi & sanzu :(( but it's also one of the biggest things that make them relate to each other ajdkfkhsj i think they start venting to each other too bc they understand v much how the other feels yk

also more natsu sibling drama but even tho she left her gang her siblings are still in a gang as i've mentioned before n it's a LOT smaller than bonten more just beating up people for fun and some minor drug smuggling but natsu gets jumped by some gang members every other week/month n she's pretty good at defending herself but she still calls takeomi to pick & patch her up sometimes bc yk she just wants some comfort in her situation...

okay maybe i am more than just a little insane about them but like. they <33 also me on my 'wtf is defining a relationship' agenda again but i think they're mostly friends but also like. they fuck labeling their relationship they just know it's very much not romantic. but could be fuck all apart from that tbh. friends? fwbs? smth between? god knows but they're close and not romantic that's all that matters
