Clarity and her wolfdog familiar Mercy. Wild mages like Clarity share their minds with the animals they take as familiars, meaning that if you make the large predator feel very unsafe, you might not get any mercy from either of them.

OC Takeover Tag Game:

Thanks @melpomene-grey for the tag! I really really like this concept.

(Rules: for any OCs you'd like, if they stole your phone and got on your Tumblr blog, what would they do/post on it?)

I am going to do the main characters from all three of my WIPs, including characters I haven't talked about on here, so this is going to be long.

Characters from Honored:

Knoron: This is now the Mavis (his pet bunny) blog. Nothing except pictures of Mavis eating, Mavis sleeping, Mavis sitting in the sunshine. There might also be a couple of his paintings but he would quickly delete those.

Theri-vin: Aesthetic poetry quotes blog. With the occasional vaguely elitist hot take thrown in.

Tsalir: Workout videos and political rants. With the occasional vaguepost complaining about her brother and her husband.

Shylar: Aesthetic landscape photos with no trace of personality anywhere. Except for occasional "I love my sister <3" posts. Very carefully keeps all traces of her identity secret.

Talinar: Pictures of snails and frogs. And random cryptic and vaguely scary posts about her prophecies out of nowhere before immediately getting back to snails.

Characters from The King's Spy:

Emeriel: Doesn't post anything but reblogs posts about grief.

Leiraine: Very cute cooking blog.

Kari: Fashion and makeup blog with a few extremely well informed and long essays about geopolitical issues thrown it at random.

Arath Soor: Doesn't post anything at all, just holds my account hostage indefinitely.

Characters from Faded Daisy:

Aster: Completely deletes my account because I mentioned her story before.

Nameless (that is their name, not a placeholder): Posts weird and concerning religious stuff ("A god must be fed...", "Divinity stained me like blood...") and starts a cult.

Sylis: A few posts like "Does anyone know what causes [insert extremely specific probably paranormal experience]?" as if it's a normal thing that most people have probably experienced before, right? Otherwise she would just post cottagecore aesthetic stuff.

Tievis: Gets my account banned by posting gore videos. Also accidentally admits to medical malpractice between gore videos. Also posts overly invasive stuff about his relationship with his partner without their permission.

As usual, I am too shy to tag anyone, so open tag for anyone who wants to participate?

Don't be silly, Jenny isn't a prisoner on the Kraken, she's a guest! Sure, she can't leave, but that's because the Kraken is a submarine and you can't just get off one of those whenever you want. Really, she should be enjoying her accommodations, especially those candied oranges - Captain Lovibond went to a lot of trouble to find out those were her favorite...

Bolton Nikell  - Born on Naboo / Faceclaim is Idris Elba

Well these two very attractive people are having an affair come 18 BBY which ends in an accidental pregnancy. Dellum who is 34 and kind of lonely, is just like “Hey I’m keeping it. You dont have to be involved if you dont want but I think I want to be a mom.” Well Bolton is just like, “Hey, I want to be a dad. Wanna get married and raise this baby together and see if this works out?”

And thus, they did. Dellum quits her job and moves to Naboo with Bolt to have a stress free lavish pregnancy

Lexen met Sylvie in 5 ABY after he joined the Rebellion after The Battle of Endor. They were inseparable from day one. The couple arent even together a year when the Battle of Jakku happens and they get engaged. From there, well, the have baby after baby

Lexen and Sylie’s first child, a little girl. Zarie is a lot like Dellum in the sense that she’s calm and collected. Decides at a very young age she wants to be a Doctor and is very nurturing and protective of her siblings, especially Xoelle

Elson Nikell - Born 8 ABY on Chandrilla / Faceclaim is Tahj Mowry

Their first son and is kind of a bitch. not really, just a bit of a know-it-all. Elson is very intelligent (Like Thrawn level smarts) he’s just a bit of an awkward soul. He’s also kind of an egotist but he’s kindhearted, just a bit obnoxious. 

Rhett Nikell - Born 10 ABY on Chandrilla / Faceclaim is Michael Early

Morena Nikell - Born 10 ABY on Chandrilla / Faceclaim is Denise Vasi

Rhett and Morena are twins (Rhett born 4 minutes ahead of Rena). They’re very close and are each others best friend. They have blue eyes like their mother and kind of have her “I do what I want” attitude.  They eventually end up becoming pirates alongside one of my other OCs children, Gilly, but that’s a story for another tedtalk

Xoelle Nikell - Born 13 ABY on Chandrilla / Faceclaim is Amandla Stenberg

Precious little Xoelle, affectionately called Xoxo by her family. She’s the youngest of the bunch and is a tad spoiled. She latches on to her grandmother, and in turn Dell kind of does the same.  She’s good with her hands though and takes to mechanics. After her parents move out and her siblings leave the nest she stays with Dellum on the farm.

i coul never have a human world for my ocs Animals are just more fun, i like thinking about the history of wellness city . The reason there are so many felines livinf in that area (the aegans, Jean, virgo, fritz, brandy and poet technically also, umm helmer, vere..) because it was settled by big cats a long long time ago, and that area has been there for a long time, and basically the domestic cat breed population popped up the same way it did in our world as in the cats who wanted to stay, stayed! And the more wild breeds/people left Because of idk, wanderlust. Some big cat breeds still remain of course but the domestic cat population there is very high, and if you live there your whole life you probably have a way way way way way way 3x removed great great cousin or something. Other species like canines & goats & etcetc came to that area after the Prey Wars (which I will not get into rn) which was, maybe 200 years ago from present wellness city world . There are still no marine species however (even though they can breathe on land due to the same evolution that caused humanoid body types to be more common than beast types like sylie) because of widespread prejudice against marine animals …

Oc-tober Day 8: Savior (prompt from @oc-tober2023)

A hundred years later, "Lady" Liban is still a legend. A pirate of unknown origins, she and her crew rose to glory by becoming privateers in the rebellion against the Marinus Empire by the city-states that would eventually unify into the nation of Gelaeta. After the war, Liban founded the Water Guard, the Whaler Sea's search and rescue organization, and is still beloved in her home waters.
