Buddie prompt for adoption

Throwing a prompt out into the wild. If you write it, please let me know!

Inspired by this amazing post about the parallels between Tara and Willow and Buddie, by @yramesoruniverse

Post season 6, Buck starts watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer and gets really into it. He pulls Eddie in with him and even the rest of the team when he starts watching it on the station tv during quiet times on shift. They all get invested in it. Then they get to the episode when Tara dies. None of them had any idea it was coming when they watch it together.

And Buck loses it. It’s too similar to how Eddie was shot. Worse, because Tara and Willow had admitted their feelings and were in a loving, committed relationship. He didn’t even have that when he’d nearly lost Eddie.

Eventually Buck and Eddie, with the others, talk about what Buck went through that day. Which leads to them all talking about what they went through when he was struck by lightning, and ultimately to Eddie talking about what he remembers from when he was shot.

Which was a whole lot more than he’d told Buck during that conversation in their kitchen after his coma…

They name their daughter Tara, years later.

Does anyone else tend to pick one character from films, TV shows, etc, and get extremely invested in their ships? Yeah I like lumax in stranger things but I'm not going out of my way to read it, I'm here for steddie or harringrove. Or like I love Willow and Tara, but Spuffy is my goal here

i just know for a fact, that if tara were alive, angel, cordelia, and oz rejoined the scoobies, and spike was at the house during season 7 that they would've stood up for buffy during this episode. like i know cordelia would've gotten pissed off, angel and spike would've left with buffy, and oz and tara would've stood up to willow and called everyone out. dawn, xander, and willow were all kinda acting out of character. god, i'm just realizing how much character assassination happened in season 7. i miss them </3

My favorite lesbian/wlw shows that are criminally underrated:

Stumptown: A show with a bisexual personal investigator as a lead!!

Highschool(2022): A show about twins finding and expressing their (queer)identity through music

Buffy the vampire slayer: A show about a vampire slayer but around s3 or 4 her best friends gets into a relationship.

Everything sucks: A show about teenagers finding their passions and identity.

I am not okay with this: A show about a girl with superpowers falling in love with her best friend.

Hey all, I'm new. I'm queer and just watching Buffy for the first time. I'm really feeling a lot around Tara/Willow. I'm 29 now and grew up in a conservative place and had no examples of what it looked like to be queer. Now I'm watching this show and feeling really moved and emotional about Tara's death.
