I Named Her Persephone.....

It seemed so cliche at first because of how popular the name is in the occult community, but I have my reasons. I don't know if the Gods try to send me messages, or if it's something inside our deep subconscious, or if it's both. I just know that this pipe brings back a bit of an old friend that's passed.

I sure could use that friend right now. He wasn't one to show a lot of sympathy, but he always made people take their own blame. That included me. He wanted me to own my reactions, but he also called people out when they were asking for a reaction.

Some humans are shit and think they have a right to verbally abuse others. I only take so much before I snap back. It's just me. I've gotten better and better over the years, but I've also gotten to a point where I get walked on. It's funny when people first see it. I know what kind of person they are afterwards. This is not a good person I'm dealing with. I'm dealing with a petty coward and a manipulator. A womanizing, mean, arrogant, 2 faced cheat. He does nice things so people don't think he's a complete dick, but he is. Definitely not someone I want to work with on a daily basis, and I certainly don't want to just ride it out for the paycheck.

So many decisions to make. Maybe I'll take a few days. Maybe a few months? I'm not sure. I can just imagine what my friend would have said. With his passing, I've realized that it's not enough to just be honest with myself. I need to forgive myself and stand up for myself too. Even if I gotta go back to something I don't want, I don't have to do it right away. I need time. I got some time between the last job and now, which almost fucked me, but I always had a backup plan.

I have until bed time to make a decision, but I fear the consequences of my actions. Maybe I'll consult the cards. Maybe I'll smoke until my friend screams the solution in my ear. Until then, it's 4:20 all day, and I'm getting those apps in. It hurts my heart that there's so many mean people in this world, and I have to chose between money and my emotional well being. This isn't what I intended on using the savings for, but I'll just save some more. I hope the Gods are kind enough to hold off on any other first world catastrophes.

Card Murder 😪

So yesterday, my child was at home with his father while I was at the laundromat and his father was too busy playing Call Of Duty 🙄 to notice that our son had somehow climbed up on my dresser and gotten my tarot cards, and had ripped my a card in Half.

I literally cried because I've worked so hard on the relationship that I've built with that specific deck for about 3 years.

I have others (3 More Decks), but im not nearly as connected to those as that one. They also need to be blessed and charged.

The Temperance Card that was torn in half is a pretty perfect tear, so I could try to tape it back together and continue using the deck, or I can put this deck to rest.

What should I do?

When I asked my guides why humanity has never been given undeniable proof of what lies beyond, they showed me an analogy.

If two football teams were about to play a game for the championship, one team doesn’t know what the outcome of the game will be, the other team is told they’re guaranteed to win.

The team that is guaranteed to win will not try. They won’t train, they won’t learn, they won’t grow because they know they’re promised a win in the end.

The team that doesn’t know the outcome will train, learn and work hard to succeed because they want the win. They will gain much experience and knowledge from all their effort.

Such is why humanity will never have undeniable proof, because if we did, we would never make an attempt to learn and grow in life and our human experience would not be of any value.
