Light redesigns of Romeo and Delilah!

I do like their designs but I thought you could push them a little more. They're very rough, I was just doodling these for fun! Ended sparking some new headcanons i incorporated specific to these designs.

Can't decide whether I like the OG ambiguous robe or clearly a hospital gown for Romeo but I really wanted to see him with the gown!

For the anon who wanted to see the boys curled up together, watching movies. The second sketch is a little older now and this is an excuse to post it here Anyway, I want you to know that Em was fascinated with bad movies in his Sidestep days. Ortega knows this and they both subject Chen to the best worst films because they delight in his occasional reaction. They also consistently fall asleep on him. Em is usually the first one out because he's not used to feeling safe and being squished between them is Warm.

A little take on life indicators for Double Life! Each heart changes into the new shape when they respawn and will stay on the player even if all lives are used up. I like to think they glow slightly and dim when damage is taken in time with their soulmates marks.

All players start out with three lives

If they or their soulmate dies, one of the hearts turn grey (starting with green and working down to red)

The greyed out heart also takes the shape of what killed them

All hearts are visible on players forearm

Image des: Going from right to left there are three columns of three hearts stacked vertically in sets. The first heart is green, second is yellow, third is red. Each has a slight glow to them and a golden border. Over top of this set it reads ‘green life’ and under it ‘(no deaths)’.

The second set of hearts has the same yellow and red hearts but the heart that should be green has turned to a grey with a black border. It has a cut in the center of it with two pairs of teeth reminiscent of some enderman designs. Over top of this set it reads ‘Etho + Joel’ and under it ‘(enderman)’.

The third set of hearts again has the same yellow and red hearts but the heart that should be green has turned to a grey with a black border. The greyed heart looks like it has been shattered or exploded outward with pieces of the heart flying out of the confines of the original heart shape. Over top of this set it reads ‘Jimmy + Tango’ and under it ‘(explosion)’.
