Mu Qing:

Mu Qing had a crush on you. Though him being his stubborn self he would not admit it. Today though his world flipped. He saw Pei Ming the womanizer ask you out. Rage bubbled inside of him and he wanted to intervene but then he’d know you’d be aware of his feelings for you so he kept silent and watched the scene unfold in front of his eyes.

“Would you like to go out sometime?” Pei Ming says to you, taking his hand out.

“Well.” You mumbled

“Well?” He says smiling clearly anticipating a positive response.

“Mu Qing’s is cuter than you.” You bow your head apologetically, making Pei Ming flinch in surprise and shock.

Mu Qing on the other hand was fuming red. 

You called him cute.

His face shined with flush as he covered his mouth with his hand hiding behind a wall making sure you didn't see him.

“They called me cute.” He mumbled to himself a blush more evident and a small smile creaking onto his face.

Feng Xin:

Feng Xin loved you deeply. He wasn’t going to straight up and say that to you. No way. Though he would be lying if he said he didn’t feel an immense rage as he saw Pei Ming try to ask you out. His fists clenched as he tried to watch the scene in front of him.

“I’m sure I’d be an amazing date for you.” Pei Ming says with a smirk and an eyebrow raise.

“Actually I have someone else in mind.” You avert your eyes playing with your fingers.

“Oh? Who might that be?” Pei Ming say’s oddly curious.

“Feng Xin is way more handsome than you. I apologize, Pei Ming.”  Your ears flushed as you said that statement.

Feng Xin watching this whole thing go down and hearing you call him handsome made him go so red that he could be used as a light. His eyes widened as he kept repeating those words you said in his head and eventually he sighed in relief.

Kiss of Winter

To the untrained eye you would seem like a subordinate or nuisance to the cold-hearted god; however, this couldn't be further from the truth. You would considered yourself a close friend to Mu Qing, you have known each other for hundreds of years after all.

Though when asked, Mu Qing would refer to you as "a valuable acquaintance," and boy did it hurt to say this. Luckily, there was a very observant god who decided he had watched you two dance around each other long enough.

The holidays were approaching and Xie Lian thought this would be a great time to force persuade both of you to be in each other's company more often. So, with some hard thought planning and input from San Lang, the boys decided on a special celebration for the gods.

Now considering all these higher beings actually have standards, lots of works will have to be put into this. And who better to ask than someone that'll be excited to attend?

"I can't think of anyone more fitting for this job than you," Xie Lian praised, hoping to get you on the project. Everything has to be perfect if he's gonna get you and Mu Qing together.

You hesitated for a moment, "I've been getting many more prayers recently, though I suppose those can be put on hold..." There was a look of pondering on your face, weighing the pros and cons of what this could do to your status among deities and humans.

"Don't you have subordinates? If anything important happens they'll surely yap to you about it," you tensed at San Lang's words. Subordinates yes, deserving of disrespect no.

Unfortunately though, you must admit he was right. Your subordinates were always more alert than you, even when it came to your own temples. You sighed, "fine, I will help you prepare for this celebration."

After tireless days? Weeks? Of work, you all finally finished the super secret super awesome holiday party. Now you may be wondering would Mu Qing even come to the celebration? The answer is yes, but only if you invite him.

And let's be honest, most of the Heaven Official's don't like Xie Lian and San Lang very much, so making you the messenger was common sense from the beginning. So after running around and inviting everyone you saw, it finally came to the one and only.

"It is a holiday that comes each year, what makes this one special?" So far, so bad, he doesn't seem very keen on attending your greatest achievement yet.

"Becauseee we put effort into enjoying it this year. It'll be fun, I promise!" You pleaded with Mu Qing, hoping he'd say yes. "I worked on it the most anyways, so you don't have to worry about Xie Lian's 'bad taste.'"

He crossed his arms, contemplating if that was really a good enough reason to attend. "And when did I say you have good taste? It is likely just as bad considering you dare interact with him." OW OKAY THEN.

You folded your hands and begged, "if it's not I swear to never invite you again! Just please come this once..." This is what convinced him, the pain that in the future deities will get to enjoy your hard-work and he'll be left out. No one could ever appreciate your efforts like he can.

"Fine! I will agree this once..." That was a lie, he will make sure to agree in the future, even if it means forcing himself to attend a celebration that involved Xie Lian and San Lang.

The day of the celebration was fantastic, several deities appeared, many complimenting you on your efforts. You most oversaw everything that was happening, what you didn't see; however, was Xie Lian spying on you and Mu Qing while talking.

He took this as his chance to put the real plan into action. After getting a signal from San Lang that the mistletoe was hanging up a few feet from you two, Xie Lian basically sprinted into the both of you, pushing you under the plant.

Mu Qing turned around, visibly angry at Xie Lian, "would it hurt to watch where you move?!" This caused Xie Lian to put his hands up in defeat and shuffle away.

While rubbing your head to try and soothe the pain, you noticed something bright above you. Realizing it was mistletoe your face got darker. This caused Mu Qing to seem slightly concerned, questioning what was the problem. You only pointed up, and when he took notice his face also darkened.

"We can simply move and ignore this tradition, it's not that important anyways-" He was interrupted by you however, "rules are rules, Mu Qing, we can't ignore them. Plus, I kinda like this tradition."

He tried to get over the initial embarrassment and decided it would be easier to dive into the kiss. What would've been a fleeting moment to others felt like an eternity to you both.

Pulling away you could both tell by the look in each other's eyes that the feeling was mutual. And hidden somewhere else was a very proud and excited Xie Lian.

"That's not a thing we should be touching." A voice tuts at you from behind.

You laugh, "I know, I know. I'm only looking Qing'er." you turn away from the beautiful tapestry on the castle wall.

Mu Qing raises a brow at you like he doesn't believe you and you try to pout though you can't resist the smile when you tease him, "Doesn't Qing'er believe me?"

"Maybe if your hand hadn't been reaching for it, I'd believe you a little more."

You watch as he rolls his eyes and you snicker at the familiar action, "If Qing'er keeps rolling his eyes like that, they'll get stuck."

"Yeah, yeah, let's go already, his highness summoned us a while ago already." With that he turned away and started walking.

Pei Ming:

The infamous womanizer Pei Ming. He is known for sleeping with women, making them love him, then brutally dumping them with no remorse whatsoever. (At least he pays child support.) You from the moment you walked in hand him on a hook. You weren’t a Martial God but were still a God that got his attention greatly.

Oh he just wanted to make you his. You being aware of his so-called title brushed his advances away. But you would be lying to yourself if you said you hated him completely. Pei Ming also got desperate. 

He found out what he was feeling wasn’t lust but love. He loved you. He had a crush on you. He still hasn’t accepted it and is trying to remove this so-called “crush” by hanging with even more women.

You both were in the main palace of the Emperor Jun Wu talking about a future mission in the mortal realm you two had to do until something caught your eye. 

A spear blowing fast through the air about to hit Pei Ming. His back was faced to it and he seemed oblivious till you pushed him away causing you to get scarred on the chest. Blood dripped and slid down. 

Pei Ming was mortified as he realized the situation and quickly checked where the spear came from.

“What in the heavens is going on?!” He yelled in a pissed off tone but concern was evident for you. 

“T-this is kind of painful.” You utter out clutching your chest tightly.

“Shit.” Pei Ming mumbled and picked you up bridal style rushing you to a nearby medic. “Were you protecting me?” His eyes softened. 

“Didn't want you getting hurt, you know?” You smile weakly.

“I won’t let this happen to you ever again. I’ll slaughter the asshole who did this.” He looked down holding you tightly.

Shi Qingxuan:

The Wind Master, Shi Qingxuan. Known for his outgoing personality and bubbly appearance. First time you met them was on a mission you two got assigned together. Ever since then Shi Qingxuan had developed a crush on you.

He didn’t know why. Your beauty? Your personality? Your kindness? He doesn’t know. Though wherever you go he will cling to you like a little bat. It's cute and annoying at times.

“W-whats going on!?” The colour drained from Shi Qingxuans face as the situation slapped him.

“A pillar..hah..broke.” You were out of breath from the sudden attack on your arm and fell backwards till Shi Qingxuan caught you throwing you up into a piggyback ride.

“You need medical attention. Stat.” He said sternly, holding onto your legs tightly as you wrapped your arms around his neck trying not to fall.

“It’s..ow.” You mumble burying your head into his shoulder.

“Shush! No talking. I can’t believe you did that for me.” He smiles to himself but then goes back to strict. “I swear when I find the person who did this they won't ever see the light of day ever again.”

Mu Qing:

General Xuan Zhen, Mu Qing. He’s known for being an amazing Martial God as well as an amazing medic. (Two in one ig) He’s hard to approach from his rude personality. Though he isn’t really rude just closed off and thinks other emotions are weaknesses in ways.

As soon as you got introduced he had fallen in love with you. The 800 year old virgin actually fell in love. What a surprise to say. Though he believes that love is just a level higher than hate. Everytime you speak to him he gives you short and rude answers.

Though in reality he absolutely adores it when you talk to him. Keep talking to him. No matter how much he disses. Continue. He also glares at others who talk to you. 

He’s jealous. 

You were complementing Mu Qing on his skills, making him blush furiously.

“Are you making fun of me?” He says with a hiss. Though before you can respond you see a blade breaking through a window heading for Mu Qing. He couldn't see it since his back was faced to it and you quickly pushed him hearing him curse.

The blade instantly slashed your waist making you cough in pain and shut your eyes.

Mu Qing’s eyes widened in horror as his teeth clenched in aggravation.

“Who the hell did this?” His eye twitched as he got up and went to you to see how bad your wound was.

“Ouch. It hurts.” You say quietly.

“I know it does. Bare with me.” Mu Qing being a medic began healing you with a yellow glow cursing under his breath.

You hugged his arm softly, clearly not in a good state, making Mu Qing tense, then soften up and stroke your head unconsciously.

“Can’t wait to find the insect who did this.” 

Feng Xin:

(God Form)

General Nan Yang, Feng Xin. Known for his heated temperamental problems and great strength as a Martial God. He’s more on the aggressive side and will not hesitate to harm the bad. (Or people who piss him off more than they should be) This man does not look like one to have a crush but that changed when you joined.

His heart began beating faster and his face flushed as he kept looking at you. Though sadly like Mu Qing he tends to be rude when you talk to him. Though when you catch him off guard he’ll just freeze dumbfounded while a huge blush creeps up on his cheeks.

He loves you deeply but won't admit it. At least he hasn’t gaslighted himself into thinking he just hates you a lot. 

You were trying to ask Feng Xin about questions on Ghost City but he kept saying that he shouldn't tell you anything.

“Why should I tell you? What's in it for me?” He mumbles irritatedly but was secretly happy you were talking to him. You, having good hearing senses, could hear glass shards and looked up to see it falling. About to fall onto Feng Xin.

You couldn't pull Feng Xin from the immense power difference and pushed him, making him create a confused face till his face dropped as the glass shards sliced your arms repeatedly.

“Ow.” You say to yourself looking at the blood pooling down your arms like a river.

“What the fuck just happened?” Feng Xin says going to you and grabbing your arms roughly.

“I-I don’t know. Someone must have messed with the glass sculptures.” You wince as the pain got greater.

“Tch.” Feng Xin mumbled and picked you up like a potato bag gripping your thighs hard so you wouldn't fall as a blush made its way to your face.

“Is this necessary.?” You mumble.

“Yes.” He says holding your thighs even tighter ears going red.

Xie Lian:

This guy can’t cook himself so he can’t be a hypocrite about it. Though as soon as he sees you stepping foot into the kitchen he knows it's over and is hiding under the bed hoping you don’t look for him. Though eventually he feels guilty and comes out from hiding to see a mysterious bowl of porridge on the dining table being served. It was bubbling with unknown ingredients sending shivers up and down his spine. He sits down and hesitates. You take note of this and pick up the spoon shoving the porridge into his mouth. He gags a bit but then looks at your hopeful expression then swallows. Great just need to do this about 90 times more.

“I-I think I’m full..” A nervous smile was apparent on his face.

Mu Qing:

This guy will lose his marbles as soon as he sees you take one step in the kitchen. Lecturing how you can’t cook and stuff. Though once you give him the puppy eyes he flinches and takes a step back clearly feeling guilty not knowing you were doing this to be nice. Eventually after a couple minutes of back and forth he just walks away, arms to the side and hands clenched in agitation.The smell of food hits him and his face turns to horror as he sees what's on the dining table and he doesn’t even try it. Yet you stay there with a smile waiting for him to try. He’s not heartless and he knows you’ve been cooking for a while so he does pick up the spoon. The smell overwhelmed him so he dropped the spoon, turning his head for a breath of fresh air. You then shove food in his mouth when you realize he’s not eating, catching him off guard as his face pales. 

“I cannot eat anymore..I’m seeing the holy light. Mom?” A dazed expression on his face.

Feng Xin:

He will pack his bags. I swear as soon as he sees you turning on the stove he’s out. Last time he had your cooking he was barfing into the toilet all night clenching to the seat for dear life. As soon as he reaches the door and opens it you're on the other side with a bowl of porridge in your hand and an innocent smile on your face, jump scaring him. You had the look. “Where are you going hun?” On your face scaring him further. He takes a step back and you yank his ear dragging him to the dining table with him whining. You stare at him, pressuring him to eat which he does. He stuffs the first spoon in his mouth and pukes on the ground. Oh dear.
