actually wild of holly black to write cardan’s arc so powerfully that I went from genuinely hating him and never believing I’d like him to thinking “ok so maybe he’s not awful ALL the time” to desperately rooting for him and furiously wanting him to be loved and happy over the span of three books. like tfota was WILD for doing that (and doing it so well)

Totally understandable the fact that Studio Orange has been developing for two years alone the tech for the facial expressions in Trigun Stampede.
Like. Look at this whole fcking amazing nuanced impressive sequence of Vash's face and how it seamlessly changes from one emotion to another.
He is blurry, because the scene was focused on Knives, so I didn't really notice at first, but the moment I put my eyes on Vash, I couldn't look away.
The range of emotions the animation was able to convey? The darn impressive micro-expressions? The small lip trembling before he starts to cry? How the tears are escaping his eyes against his will? The anger, frustration and sadness at the same time, in a few seconds?
My heart breaks for this whole scene.
/ sobbing crying rolling on the floor screaming /
Studio Orange, I'm all yours.

thinking about how even though dennis and dee are obviously so awful and cruel to each other most of the time, they always try to protect each other during life’s most scariest moments. like they rlly only had each other growing up due to frank and barbara being shitty parents and they still depend on each other at the end of the day:((

Even if grrm had gone through with his original outline and had sansa marry joffrey and have his kids, I would still be defending sansa with my breath and blood, if not more vehemently. She’s still a prisoner of war, trapped and caged, and still forced to marry her political enemy, but this time someone who is sadistic and a million times more entitled. Even worse, she’s forced to have his kids and then when she tries to protect their interests, she’s labelled a traitor. Which she still is in TikToks labelled “did you know sansa betrays her family by having Lannister children in the original outline” and then there will be comments like I knew I always hated this bitch for a reason and salsa was only made for conflict within the starks and she’s so annoying at least George had the correct idea first, and all of that will make you rage bite your pillow so hard your jaw hurts but still won’t make it any better. All I meant is, original outline sansa is a much sadder story and still not the fucking villain. That girl is the priest’s favourite sacrificial lamb.
