When Rauru finds out about Nova’s starry specials he decides to offer her some dazzle fruit as an addition/alternative to some of the other ingredients she’s been using because they’re Zonai in origin and I imagine the fruit itself would make a much sweeter/tastier syrup, sugar, or topping or something along those lines ;w;

In return Nova makes him a golden apple tart with some dazzle fruit accents to show her appreciation, and strangely enough the early stages of their relationship turn into a competitive gift exchange. Exactly like how I play Animal Cr0ssing lmao 😭😭

I think it’d be extra cute if Nova starts going to greater and greater lengths to get brighter cave fish from deeper in the cave systems, or bigger brightcaps that’ve been growing in the damper depths…sometimes when she returns to Three Springs she’s so excited to start working on her next dish she forgets to even get cleaned up.

I’m working on my trans kagami write up, and one of the points I plan to touch on is the character design in miraculous and what it says about each character. Which is hard to do when everyone’s civilian forms look so … awful LOL. Aside from color themes which the show tends to do very well (like with adrien and marinette being almost total inverts of each other, and the consistent black vs white theme and how that ties to their alignment.) It’s a little difficult to interpret personality from character designs when those designs barely show the character’s personality. I feel like this was probably done for animation purposes to make things easier to animate, but it ends up making all of the characters look stale next to each other — the colorful jeans and shoes work for Zoe, but not marinette. She’s is a fashion designer but she wears a blazer, pink denim capris, and flats? Almost all of the women wear pants, which isn’t unrealistic but… surely at least a few of them would wear skirts or dresses, right? And not to mention some of these hairstyles are just plain bad (looking at you, mylene and kagami and max. Honestly, maxs entire outfit needs to go too…)

I’ve heard that season 6 plans to have redesigns for some or most of the cast and I hope that’s true. If so, Im praying this time they’re a bit more visually interesting and deliberately designed, especially so I can pick apart the symbolism behind the designs ehehehe. They really need to be put in something other than Jeans And A T Shirt. Some of the best designs are from characters that were introduced later and it’s very obvious.
