As part of Almighty Sinnoh's gift to its ten noble bloodlines, it granted them an ability that would bridge the divide between them and their human wardens: to become one in body as well as spirit, to share a mind and form as one. A gift the humans termed fusion. That gift became a requirement: to prove they had the ability to work together, a prospective Warden must spend a full day-and-night cycle in this fusion with their Noble, doing their duties as normal.
Irida, forgive her for saying, is getting a little tired of finding every offered Warden to Lady Sneasler dismissed and discarded, even the ones that had made it through every previous trial. Which is why she has little hope that a stranger from the sky will succeed when others have failed.

1. Who's hand did you first grab? Why? Would you choose someone else if you could do it over again?
I grabbed Idia's hand!
When I first got into TWST, I had absolutely no clue what I was getting into so I really just went based on which voice actors I recognized LOL. I know Kōki Uchiyama from a ton of different anime (JJK, Buddy Daddies, Haikyuu, BNHA, Yuri on Ice, etc.) so I just went with his character.
While Idia doesn't crack the top 5 for me, I don't think I'd choose again. The only reason I would is if it impacted the story somehow but I really doubt it will. I'm COMITTED.
10. Top five favorite characters?
Grim occupies all top five spots. BUT since that's boring, so I'll limit my choices to the main cast lmao. (My love for the dire beast is PROFOUND)

Explanation below the cut! (I got very excited to talk about my favorites and wrote a lot so I figured I'd condense it for people who didn't want to scroll through it all lol whoopsies.)
1. Riddle Rosehearts - I have no explanation for this?? He's pretty much the opposite of my usual favorite characters so idk what happened here. I've always been drawn to the Alice in Wonderland aesthetic so maybe that has something to do with it?
He's got such great character writing, too?? Everything about his personality just makes sense when you know his backstory. When we learn that Riddle's tyrant of a mother was strict and controlling over him, the pieces just seem to fall into place. His whole life was just following her rules and studying like a good little boy, and when he stepped out of line even a little bit he was reprimanded harshly for it. Of course, he's going to the exact same thing once he's in a position of power. It's all he knows. He's just another version of his mother.
Not only does he uphold the tradition of punishing rule breakers rather severely as he was when he was younger, I think there's also an element of fear there as well. Like, his mother just instilled an innate fear of breaking rules because bad things would happen if he didn't follow them exactly.
I really do see Riddle as a scared little boy who is suddenly realizing that he was set up for failure by his own mother.
And THEN he makes an honest effort to improve himself post-overblot?? His transformation after the fact is one of the more obvious ones and I'm just so proud of him. A THOUSAND HEAD PATS!!
Okay, I'll stop rambling about him lmao I love Riddle sm
(Also want to make clear I'm not saying Riddle was right for anything he did, only that I appreciate how his character was handled. Added for legal purposes so people don't come after me :c )
2. Vil Schoenheit - This one comes as no surprise to me. Pretty boys who challenge gender stereotypes are RIGHT up my alley.
Like Riddle, I think Vil has some great character writing is one of the more complex characters in the game. He just feels so compassionate to me?? I don't know how to explain it - he just gives such nurturing vibes. I'd trust this man with my drink at a bar fr fr.
And then he tells Epel off for saying ballet is too "girly" for him?? Thank you TWST for bringing me this man. I pray at the altar of Vil Schoenheit.
3. Malleus Draconia - Doesn't Malleus top everyone's lists LOL
I think my favoritism for the dragon man is more to do with his relationship with Yuu than anything else tbh. He's like one of three characters that actively engages with the main character and I think they've got such a fun relationship.
Two people who feel very alone in the world finding friendship (or something more for you malleyuu shippers) in each other is so beautiful. I'm glad they can be there for each other like that.
Side note: I adore romantic Malleyuu for sure, but I think it's equally as endearing if all of Malleus's flirtatious lines were never meant to be romantic but he's just really bad at communicating his feelings in a platonic way. Like, he doesn't mean to flirt he's just socially inept.
4. Ruggie Bucchi - Gremlin hyena boy is just too good for words.
Ngl, I started off not really liking Ruggie all that much because of what he did in the Savanaclaw book. My mans was basically shoving people down flights of stairs??
I'm not really sure where the turn around happened tbh. Mischievous personality types do tend to draw me in in fiction so that probably has a lot to do with it. I also felt really bad for him at the end of the Savanaclaw book when Leona was ready to Thanos him out of existence despite everything Ruggie had done for him (and continues to do for him).
I appreciate his work ethic, I can respect the hustle, and he's got such a cute little laugh. I wanna pet those big ole ears of his. Leona - pay this man more smh
5. Kalim Al-Asim - SUNSHINE BOY!!
He's such a breath of fresh air in this game LMAO. As much as I love the fact that most of the cast are unapologetically flawed, it's nice to have a few characters that are genuinely good people. His VA (Kazuki Furuta) absolutely kills it imo. I can hear his laugh in my head as I'm typing this - it's just so warm and happy :D
He also breaks the sterotype of most rich characters in media by just being a nice person? He's not evil or greedy (although naive and entitled) and he just wants to be bffs with Jamil.
Break his heart Jamil and we're gonna have WORDS.
Also just like FORGAVE JAMIL??? His bfffl yeeted him across the desert, brainwashed him and admitted to wanting to get him kicked from the school and Kalim didn't really hold it against him. He was so understanding and sweet about everything AHHHHH

Top 5 works you’re most proud of that you released in 2022
1. sweet beneath sharp edges - (CQL/MDZS) Light horror murder mystery monsterfucking rom com in jazz age Shanghai. This one was, ngl, very difficult to pull off. It took a lot of research, less on broader history of China in that period (which I was familiar with) but the details, like had flash bulbs and washing machines been invented yet? What flowers and fruits and vegetables should be growing at that time of year? And I think the result was pretty fun!
2. inevitable everything - (CQL) Pretend war prize but the self-arranged marriage is real. Wangxian can admit their attraction to each other, but not their feelings. Cue the pining while fucking (+ Plot). I'm happy with how it turned out -- I felt like the characters' emotions landed where I wanted them to and writing a 194k fic in a year was just a big accomplishment in general (one that I will not be repeating this year for my own sanity 😅)
3. doing the wrong thing wholeheartedly - (CQL/MDZS) modern cultivation with rivals to lovers and truly wacky worldbuilding decisions about dragons. This fic made me feel positively gleeful while writing it -- there's really something to be said for writing specifically to an audience of yourself!
4. something wicked - (CQL/MDZS) modern with magic coffee shop au. WWX's a witch who helps the living sort out their lives and the dead move on, LWJ's just been turned into a talking bunny. The curse can only be broken by True Love's Kiss -- but they're both convinced they've just been rejected. I actually struggled a lot with this one, sat on it for months, begged help from @/luckymarrow before I felt comfortable releasing it. I like the final version quite a bit, and it really seems to have made people happy, which is always my goal
5. red strings and eager hands - (MDZS/CQL) canon divergence where WWX believes LWJ has betrayed him, and LWJ responds by stripping. Written for jing's gorgeous art! It was a bit of a challenge to write LWJ's feelings during the smut, and that was very much a good thing for my writing! This was another one that was a lot of fun to write and I love the outcome!
Top 4 current WIPs that you’re excited to release in the new year
I only have 2 active WIPs right now but --
YLLZ!Wen Qing! This one's been living in my head for over a year, slowly growing from an initial idea Wen Qing with ghost girls to vague concept of what if JGS and WRH's roles were swapped and the Jiang were allied with the Jin to mostly outlined with 10k on the page. I'm very excited to write Wangxian in a secret relationship that puts WWX in an impossible position re: saving the Jiang siblings, an angsty slow burn for Wen Qing and Mianmian, and some very creepy monsters
My Bottomji Big Bang fic! Which I cannot talk about, but will be very in line with my typical nonsense 😆
I have thoughts on a something wicked prequel about Wangxian becoming friends when LWJ could newly see ghosts. They are just thoughts so far
A something wicked where WWX is trying to help a pair of starcrossed lovers get together, and LWJ is just trying to get railed on their anniversary. This is also just thoughts
Top 3 biggest improvements in your writing over the past year
Atmosphere - particularly in sweet beneath sharp edges, which was a bit of a stylistic challenge
Visual detail - I feel like I've improved on how I describe settings, appearance, etc and choosing when to do so with less disruption of the flow of the story
Smut - I've written a lot more variety in my smut scenes in 2022 and (I think) gotten better at getting them to flow
Top 2 resolutions
Take my next long fic at a slower pace instead of pushing myself to complete it. 2022 was busy, but 2023 is likely to be even more so and I don't want to burn myself out over something I do for fun
Write what makes me happy!

TOP FIVE WORKS I'M PROUD OF
true love : by far the series i've put my heart into. these characters own my goddamn heart and i've enjoyed (so far) writing them and their crazy adventures!!! :'))) - currently writing chap 6
hurts so good : i was so stressed while writing this because i wanted the outcome to be just like i pictured it and it only came out better :') writing this specific jungkook was hilarious and i loved the dynamic between him and reader in this :') also my first sub!jungkook fic hihi - hopefully there's more to come
unexpected lovers : first yoongi fic and the longest fic i've written!!! this whole story was so fun to write and will always be closest to my heart. i wrote this when i was starting to find myself on tumblr and that shows a reflection of my growth as a writer :') i was fighting through the smut throughout the whole day and the outcome was so so worth it! also i miss yoongi and reader from this. (writing a lil drabble of those two hihi)
mr. and mrs. kim : aaah okay, this one hist the top five, mostly because it was my first action one shot and first time i truly challenged myself as a writer and my capability. which surprisingly turned out well!!! <333
new girl : gooood my first ever series!!! new girl was the starting point for me. i remember briefing the idea to jyad (@pjiminbloomx ) and then i just went for it. this was where i was slowly peaking through and extremely proud of myself for finishing this series in 2 months time. :) miss these little roomie goofs a lot tho </3

‘’At least I fight them instead of playing dead while wrapped in… toilet paper?’’ You tilt your head, expression reading nothing but disgust from your end.

i'd say my smut... i was super insecure about it because i wrote it as if i'm writing a recipe rather than doing it as i please which i've later learned how to do. so i'm super proud of myself for that part!
use of words. english isn't my first language but my third and i've definitely improved my vocabulary and added more synonyms to my writing rather than repeating the same words again and again.

Can you talk a bit about the ocs you just posted? They seem neat I'm interested to know about them :]

(This first part gets very rambly, so if you want to skip to story stuff, I put a cut so you know where it is!!)
Okay so backstory on the creation of these OCs: in 2020 some of my friends and I kinda had this little like... RP and AU project on Twitter where parts of it were like a half-joke but it also all had its own story (I don't wanna say a WHOLE whole lot bc that whole thing's kinda over and the accounts we did it on are all privated/deleted/dead now and I don't wanna drag it all back up without talking to all those people about it first)
(but I did want to mention it because like... though we've all talked a bit about taking some of the characters we played and tweaking them to make them our own, I don't wanna totally be like "HEHE THIS IS MINE!!!! >:)" without giving credit where credit is due to my amazing friends)
(and also obviously because............... uh if you take one look at them you can tell they're not 100 Percent Out of my Brain Original so I wanted to. explain that this started as an AU. a very convoluted and complicated AU that only like 20 people knew the inner machinations of)
ANYway due to this being a convoluted and complicated AU which relied on plot points from a now-dead pandemic-era Twitter RP group, I haven't got their story figured out COMPLETELY yet and some things are due to change (if I ever even get around to planning and writing this kjdhbksdfj) so bear with me. also I can't draw so all I have are those picrews

Sawyer/Summers and his brother Alexander/Almanac (the two name thing will become clear later) were inseparable growing up, and everyone around them knew they were going to grow up to change the world-- presumably together. That is, until an unexplainable tragedy struck their senior year of high school. (I will be honest I haven't nailed down what that unexplainable tragedy is yet.)
After the tragedy, Sawyer remained optimistic. Things had clearly changed with him-- how COULDN'T he have changed, after something like that?-- but to the people around him, he seemed incredibly resilient in the face of what he'd witnessed. Alexander, on the other hand-- always the more reserved of the two-- withdrew completely into himself.
And behind the scenes? When it was just Sawyer and Alexander alone? Well, nobody knows exactly what happened between them. Only that they had gone from being an inseparable duo to barely speaking. They went off to separate universities at the end of that year, and that was it.
Fifteen years later, Sawyer's already changed the world. His genius quickly became apparent to his professors and only grew from there, and his inventions have already advanced the world to a technological age previously thought impossible-- and he's only getting started. And Alexander? Well... nobody's heard from Alexander.
Behind the scenes, Sawyer's been working on his magnum opus: time travel. It was a prospect he'd always daydreamed about as a child, and now the dream is almost realized. He's not ready to go public with it yet, or maybe ever-- the only person who knows about it is his husband Owen-- but he just needs to know that it works, after all this time trying. And he knows exactly where to start.

It's the start of Sawyer and Alexander's senior year. They've got big plans for this year: dominate in their final year of high school, become joint valedictorians, and head off to university together to change the world. It helps that they both got into the advanced class taught by the new science teacher, Mr. Summers. His class is challenging, but nothing they can't handle... and besides, they can't even remember the last time they've actually been challenged in school. Yep, this year should be fun. (Even if Summers does keep sneaking out of class to flirt with their dorky history teacher, Mr. Owens...)
Oh, also they've been running into this guy with green hair and a black trench coat like, everywhere they go. It's getting kind of creepy. But they're pretty sure that's nothing.

Writer's Ask Game
4. What is your favourite genre to write for?
Oooh, that's a tough one. I think I feel the most comfortable writing comedy and fluff stories, but I love writing for different genres that challenge me. Lately though, my favourite genres writing would be fantasy, magical realism and dystopian.
6. What topic would you love to explore in your writing?
I would love to shed more light on certain disabilities, mental illnesses and medical conditions, but I don't think I would be able to convey the feelings 100%, so I stick to the ones I know more of/personally experience(d). Same goes for writing characters who are LGBTQA+. Even though I have people close to me who are part of the spectrum, I don't feel confident writing about it in case it doesn't sit well with someone or it doesn't seem real. However, I do support the growing number of books/TV shows/movies etc. that involve more characters like this.
12. Do you have a word/phrase that you overuse in your writing?
'Definitely' is something that I write so many times that I seriously need to hold myself back from using it. :D
16. Where do you find inspiration to write?
Anywhere, really. I always say that I find inspiration even when I'm brushing my teeth or cooking, but I guess it's because I don't concentrate on work and other duties while doing so. But really, inspiration can be something I see in real life while I'm going grocery shopping, a group's MV, a certain song, an outfit or hairstyle or just an idea that intrigues me (such as my story for the coexistence collab, the idea of having superhuman abilities and being used for that).
17. Tell us a fun fact about your current WIP.
Honestly, I haven't started on anything since I wrote my Hyunsuk story, but I do have one finished story sitting in my drafts that need to be posted. As for story ideas that I have, I have one that was inspired by watching Dancing on Ice performances.
20. Do you have one piece of advice for your fellow writers?
I would say do it for yourself first because it'll lift the pressure to be good enough for your readers, and it'll make writing so much more enjoyable. Reading a lot also helps, so read a lot of other stories, but don't try to write like someone else. Find your own voice, and write what you want to write. For instance, I was afraid of writing about topics related to insecurities, mental illnesses, unsupportive family etc even though I've experienced them and struggle with them. It was because I've thought that people wouldn't read them because they are too heavy. However, even if they might not be my most successful stories, I probably have the most messages on them because they resonate with readers, and that's what matters to me the most: that I make them feel less alone.

Alright, so I tried to really think this one through, to actually give you something that might help, and for the longest time I had nothing, so I really hope this will help.
See, what personally helps me write them, is that in BDSM (this won't get full on sexual, dw) you have this concept of a brat. Essentially that’s a submissive person, who will constantly try to challenge and test their dominant - they try to tease and catch them off guard, just to get said person to put them back in their place.
That's how I read Wilbur's character (in general not just in bed).
Every time he's in power, he subconsciously sabotages it. He wants things to go his way, but at the same time he doesn't.
It works especially because brats are frequently misinterpreted, as just being bitchy, and not being actual subs, which isn't the case. That relates to Wilbur perfectly, in my opinion, seeing how clearly dissatisfied he is with how people treat him - run from him, listen to every word he says, ect. And yet he doesn't want that, even if that's how it seems.
But Quackity isn't like that.
Quackity doesn't bend to his will, he challenges Wilbur. He calls him out on his bullshit, holds him accountable. When everyone replies to Wilbur's shenanigans with fear and compliance, Quackity isn't afraid to metaphorically (or literally) grab him by the throat, and put him back in his place.
And that's what Wilbur wants, needs even. Like the content creator himself said, Quackity keeps Wilbur running. The opposition and defiance he gets from Quackity is enticing, irresistible even.
And that's how I write them.
No matter how many times Quackity throws Wilbur out of las Nevadas, in the end it'll only make him come back even more eagerly. The man has never had anyone else tell him no, and it shows.
And he wants Quackity to to say no to him. Because just as with the burger van, he doesn't actually want what he publicly claims he does. It's all just for show.
And Quackity understands that.
Notice, how he himself is clearly invested in their petty little dynamic.
He could get rid of Wilbur easily, he has the people and resources to do it.
But he doesn't.
Because it's fun.
Quackity understands the little game Wilbur's playing, and he eagerly participates. He's always one step ahead. Always keeping his composure. Always driving Wilbur mad, wanting more.
If it takes two to tango, then Wilbur is constantly trying to step on Quackity's feet, just for Quackity to dip him every time right before he can do so.
They both know what they want from each other, and what the other wants from them; they're willing to play that petty little game of pretend.
One other thing that is also incredibly important is trust. Those two are enemies, yes, but they respect and trust each other.
They've known one another for far too long, and have been far too vulnerable to just forget about it. They will both tease, destroy, lie, fight, but if either one of them were in need, they know the other will help them.
Ok I really hope this helps, because I genuinely have no idea how else I could reply.
Regarding writing, I really don't know what to say aside write what you want to read.
Losing Face is my first fic ever, and I started writing it 1. because I had fun writing, and 2. because I wanted to see more fics of those two in a BDSM context, that wasn't encroaching on the non-con territory with dubious consent, or unrealistic scenes, or things that just aren't BDSM at all, just a bit rough. I started it for myself, I wrote first 3 chapters in advance, and sent it just to my significant other, so that we can both enjoy it. Only then did I start taking it seriously, and posting it.
The reason why I'm so set on BDSM with these two is again - dynamic, and the trust they have in each other, but that's a rant for another day.

This one’s rather obvious as my first choice, I think. I’m so incredibly proud of this mostly-canon-compliant-into-canon-divergence slow burn. It gave me a wonderful opportunity to really delve deep into the inner workings of Joan Thursday, and I impressed even myself with my characterization of both her and Morse. This was also some incredibly fast writing for me, and LONG, and it was so, so fun to write and post as I went and get the full collaborative fanfic experience. Forever a fave!

Super impressed with my characterization here, both individually and interactive, and I like the structure I chose of transitioning POV as each character crossed paths with another. I’m also impressed that I managed to turn fannish spite (”this ending makes no sense with the plot mechanics explored thus far, also why the hell wasn’t this treated like a betrayal”) into a genuine exploration of what could have happened between the markers of time in canon.

If she has to carry all these memories, at least this way, sometimes she gets the chance to fight back. Set post-Ruin and Rising, but primarily references S1E7 "The Unsea."

I’m particularly proud of capturing Alina’s voice in this one, as I haven’t written first person POV in a long time. I think my descriptions are pretty darn good, and the emotion runs very high - on a knife’s edge, as it were (ba-dum-tss, I’ll see myself out).
Just Once
Neither of them really meant for this to happen. Kiera and Alec act on feelings they've been trying to hide and impetuously fall into what, by necessity, has to be a one night stand. Set sometime mid-season 4. Timeline is vague and there's not a lot of context because, like her characters' decisions, author was acting entirely on impulse in writing this. // (And then, because this was, from the beginning, The Story That Would Not Shut Up, this turned into a what-if-Kiera-stayed fix-it fic.)
Continuum; Kiera/Alec; Rated T; 17k words
This was a real challenge for me with tone and plot (light as the latter is), yet I still managed to craft a fairly believable fix-it AU, I think. This was also sort of slow burn-adjacent, in a fitful sparks, start-and-stop sort of way that felt true to the characters. I’m really proud of what this ended up being, even if there are things I would probably change if I wrote it today.

This was my first attempt at a true drabble, or really any strict structure, and I’m really proud of managing to fit a meaningful exploration of a theme and characterization into such a small word limit.

3. How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?
A surprising amount– 6! Teen Wolf, Z Nation, Criminal Minds, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, The Umbrella Academy, and Dream SMP. so, so much Dream SMP.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
My first ever dsmp fic– Techno Comes Home, my only Umbrella Academy fic, He Got Seven (and what he deserved), A Talk Long Overdue (therapy fics seem to be my specialty), Thomas. Not 10k, but not Tommy either, my only Z Nation fic, this one surprises me, it's dark horror written for a comedic show with a tiny fandom, and The Storm (or: he should know better by now, but somehow he has no doubts), a Teen Wolf oneshot.
5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
Oh, this is hard. I have a trilogy, In Which Things go Awry and the Good Guys Lose, and I cannot decide what's the worst of the trio, maybe the second one, In Which Punz Never Shows, just because it's worse than grief?
6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
Other than the aforementioned tragedies, I try to always have at least hopeful endings? But still, the ending of my 4 year long series, In Which Isaac Lahey Finally Gets some Fucking Therapy, is definitely the happiest, I may be biased because I'm just so fond of that series and how much work I put into it <3
7. Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?
Never have, don't think I ever will, not my niche. Have considered writing some AUs, but not crossovers.
8. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
No, cannot, will not. Any romance is a challenge for me to write, not even touching all that. You do you, not my cup of tea.
9. Do you respond to comments, why or why not?
I try and respond to every comment just because they bring me so much joy, but I also try to make myself only reply when I have an update to post, sort of a reward for getting some writing done, but that means sometimes I don't reply until a month later... (or worse forget entirely)
10. Have you ever received hate on a fic?
Thankfully no! At 'worst' sometimes people have disagreed with my characterization or corrected something they think I interpreted wrong, which, they've always been polite about it so fair enough!
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I don't think so, although one time I was reading a fic that was uncannily similar to my own, not word for word, but it felt almost like a retelling or a parallel version? Probably just a popular interpretation of the premise, but it was a surreal read.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope! I don't have the language skills to attempt it myself.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not really, although I have done a beginner bang and got to collaborate with a great artist, which is just as fun.
14. What’s your all time favorite ship?
Romance isn't my forte, I still have a soft spot for Scisaac just because I adore the characters. My current favorite is Awesamponk, just because tragedy has been calling me lately.
15. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
I have never given up on a fic and hopefully never will! That I've posted at least, if I've posted it I have to finish, otherwise I let my 2.5 readers down lol, I've had an unposted draft for a fic about the DSMP Raccooninnit arc that I've been sitting on Since That Arc, which was, what, back in January?
16. What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue! Dialogue has always been my strong suit, or at least these past few years. Copying people's way of talking is always really fun.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Is saying everything else a fair answer? Describing stuff. I can write character feelings, not settings. The characters are Talking- where? Doing what? Good question! Love to find out some day.
18. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I had to do a lot of this for my last two isaac fics, one taking place in France and one in Russia and if I’m being honest, Google translate. That’s all I can manage. I apologize to any French or Russian readers.
19. What was the first fandom you wrote for?
I am not going to say, but I was 12, and it was on Wattpad. That should be horrifying enough.
20. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
This is unjust. It’s like picking a favorite child. My favorite fic is probably one of the ones I’ve just been vividly planning in my head and have yet to write let alone post :/
