Inspired by the genre of drawings illustrating what Pizza Tower would look like as a nineties cartoon, I wanted to throw my bow into the ring and draw an animation cel of what Star Tower would look like as a late eighties cartoon! ⭐👾✨

10:05pm, texas farmhouse

It’s odd, really, that an ocean and half a continent away from their shared home, that Arthur’s spirit feels so strong here. Here, in Henry and Alex’s backyard, deep in the heart of Texas.

The boys—they’re still boys, no matter that they’re closer to forty than thirty—are inside, cleaning dishes, rinsing out bottles. Catherine can see them through the window above the sink, laughing and chatting easily before Alex flicks water in her son’s face. The affronted look on Henry’s face sends her right down memory lane, a slideshow of the dozens of times she and Arthur did the same thing playing in her mind.

It took a while, a shove from Bea, and a lot of therapy, but the memories no longer hurt her, no longer make her feel like her soul is being ripped away every time she thinks about her husband. Now, after everything, she can let the memories pass through like a draft through windchimes; she might get knocked around, but what sweet melodies they make.

A cool breeze makes Catherine pull the quilt Alex draped over her earlier closer around her shoulders and she looks out over the dark backyard. The only light is from the stars, the crescent moon, the dying embers, and the occasional lightning bug. Catherine inhales deeply, breathing in the smell of the earth, of burning wood, of the lingering scent of the beer that Alex knocked off the picnic table earlier. The sound of crickets chirping is accompanied by grass rustling in the breeze and the quiet pops of the fire. It’s peaceful here, in this place where there’s more sky than anything else—a sky big enough for dreams and memories alike.

Arthur would have loved it here. He would have been first in line to learn how to work the grill from Alex. He would have laughed easily at their son’s carefree antics. He would have been their biggest supporter in buying this place. Catherine knows that their siblings were confused, Alex’s parents were a little more understanding, but Arthur— Arthur would have seen the house for what it is: a sanctuary, a place to recharge, a place where they can truly be themselves, stripped of the pressures of both royalty and politics.

She knows that they chose Texas for Alex, but the feel of the place has more than a little to do with Henry; Catherine finds echoes of the cottage in Wales around every corner. The farmhouse is a monument to the love they have for each other and to their families. The house is so full of affection and care that one could almost taste them, almost trip over them on the way to the kettle.

Another breeze sweeps through the yard and Catherine shivers, but not from the chill this time. She can feel something—someone—here with her now. She gets a whiff of Arthur’s cologne, a faint trace of pine and leather that always made her feel safe. She holds her breath, and she can faintly hear Arthur’s laugh, bright and full, over the sound of her heartbeat. Impossibly, she feels the weight of an arm across her shoulders, tucking her close into the faded imprint of a warm chest.

The back door opens and the boys’ chatter spills out along with the kitchen light. Their presence breaks the spell the night was weaving around her, but between more jokes and reminiscing, between dessert and a cup of decaf, Catherine feels ghostly fingers slip between her own, and hold tight.

Chan: He'd be nervous, but trusts you. He would do his best not to show that he's jealous. However that doesn't mean he would leave you alone for a second. He wouldn't say anything but would keep an arm around you or hold your hand. He'd be glued to you for the rest of the night, you wouldn't be able to go to the bathroom without him waiting outside for you.

Lee know: This man would not bat an eye, he'd give them the death stare of their life. If he could force choke them out he would. He would make it so unbelievable obvious too. And if that didn't turn the guy off you he would definitely put himself between you two. He'd yell, make a some comment very loudly about how annoying the other guy was. He'd be very open and very agitated. Not only that he would 100% physically intervene if he thought he needed to.

Changbin: He would start out as cocky. Playing off the too cool and he has you so therefore everyone else should feel jealous. But that would fade very quickly. He'd become extremely irritated and vocal about you not being interested. Like Lee Know he wouldn't hesitate to be physical.

Hyunjin: He would be disgusted at the other guys attempt. Which he wouldn't hide at all. He'd make some sassy comments about the guy not matching you. And how it would only happen in his dreams. Stating that you already had the perfect partner and it was him, and only him. He'd be very confident in himself but disgusted in another persons interest in you. (Honestly I think he'd be the funniest to watch)

Han: He'd would be sooooo conflicted. Depending on who the guy flirting with you is, he'd either want to leave and sulk about it for the rest of the day. In which you would have to console him with lots of kisses on his pouty lips. Or in an anxiety/panicked outburst he'd call you 'baby', loudly and across the room, almost letting the whole neighbourhood know he loves you. In this case he'd demand you say it back to hm just as loudly.

Felix: Out of spite he'd introduce himself to the guy, his brightest friendliest smile on display. Intentionally taking the focus off of you and sit between you. Like chan he'd make sure to keep his arm around you or establish obvious physical touch, only to then purposefully talk about your relationship to him. Gushing about how amazing you were and how close you two are. Reminiscing romantic moments, just to rub it in their face.

I've always thought about this scenario: Quaritch surrenders to the Sullys when Neytiri threatens Spider without Quaritch having Kiri. Jake brings him to the Metkayina village to keep an eye on him, but having both the Sully family and Quaritch in such close proximity causes Spider's already conflicted feelings about both to skyrocket. Not to mention he can't be too close to one without feeling like he's betraying the other...

Ahhh!! 😍😍 This is such a cool concept. Sorry, once again this starts as a hypothetical WOULD, and turns at some point into a one-shot narrative! Anyway I think Jake/Neytiri/Tonowari/Ronal would all be baying for Quaritch's blood and wouldn't let the man leave the ship alive, but say that they did:

Quaritch would immediately throw his knife down when he saw Spider under Neytiri's grasp. When Neytiri releases Spider he'd snarl and spit every threat under the sun at Jake, all the while determinedly avoiding eye contact with Spider, who of course watches on from the sides, stunned and clutching Kiri for support.

Quaritch would be dragged away by the Metkayina warriors, perhaps to be held in Awa'atlu until Eywa has passed her judgement on him. Jake would come over to check on Spider, but the boy would be shellshocked, not sure who is family was anymore.

Neytiri had just tried to kill him. Quaritch had just saved him.

And he was supposed to be with the Sullys? It didn't sit right - it rocked him to his core. He was non-verbal the whole way back to the village, trying to figure out how to possibly move forwards with the situation.

He would stay away from where Quaritch was being kept. At first because he was too scared to face the man, and then because the Metkayina wouldn't allow him in. The strain and the anxiety got too much until one night, when the Sullys were all asleep, and only two guards remained on the door to the hut where Quaritch was being kept prisoner, Spider snuck in to visit him.

The man wasn't asleep, as Spider had expected. He was sat against the wooden wall, his face half cast in shadow and half illuminated by the watery moonlight. Spider paused, unsure if he wanted to continue. He steeled himself. He had to ask why Quaritch did it.

As he approached, Quaritch looked up, stilled, then smiled low and ominously. It made the hairs on the back of Spider's neck stand up. Like this, the man looked evil. "Couldn't stay away huh kid?"

Spider swallowed. He got as close to the bars as he dared. "I had to see you," he whispered.

Quaritch turned to face him full on, revealing the deep, bloody scratches he had on the side of his face. They were reminiscent of the human Quaritch's scars. "Why?" the man asked, low and simple and clean.

Spider frowned, searching for the words. "I... had to talk to you... to ask... why you saved me."

Quaritch huffed a small laugh. "So it really wasn't a bluff huh? That's crazy..."

Spider watched him continue, not daring to speak again.

"That woman supposed to be your family? Jesus kid, you're more fucked up than I thought." He didn't say it unkindly, but Spider bristled at the insinuation.

"What the hell would you know about family?" he hissed, trying to keep his voice low so as not to alert the guards.

"Enough to know that blood is thicker than water. Which is clearly true here..."

Spider gasped as though stung, but he understood Quaritch's words. It was only painful because hearing them spoken out loud for the first time confirmed all his darkest, most resentful thoughts.

Quaritch shifted, bringing himself closer to the bars and raising a hand to grip one at eye level. "Spider. I will always protect you. Hell," he chuckled, looking around at the cell. "Even from a shithole like this, if there is any way I can protect you, I will." His eyes bore into Spider's, and suddenly Spider couldn't breathe. The world was silent - nothing existed but the two of them. Even the walls seemed to be listening.

"Dad-" Spider choked out, grabbing the bars separating them in both hands. Quaritch's hand came through and cupped Spider's face, pulling him closer until they were touching foreheads against Spider's mask.

"It's okay," Quaritch spoke quietly. "I'll get out of this, don't you worry about me. And when I do, I'm not leaving without you."

His words sounded too much like Spider was a prisoner of the Metkayina, or perhaps the Sullys, but he didn't have the energy to correct the man. "Okay," he mumbled back through the bars, because it was the only thing he was capable of saying. Quaritch's hand came down from his head and he backed away.

"You should go, Spider." Quaritch nodded at entrance to the room, where the guards were waiting. "If they catch you I imagine you'll be in a whole world of trouble."

"Okay," Spider repeated, shaking himself back to the moment. "I'll come back..."

He backed towards the depression under the wooden wall that he'd crawled through to get inside. As he looked back over his shoulder, he saw Quaritch smirking, retreating back into the shadows. "Don't kid, I'll find you."

How the turn tables! I love the imagery of Quaritch behind bars and now Spider is the one on the captor's side. I don't know if Spider would actually go with Quaritch, and it is beSide the poinT for this little drabble 😭

holy moly there's so many. i knew about smosh for years but i didn't start watching them consistently until this year. i wish i hadn't waited this long but im glad that i eventually caved because the community here is amazing (i love all of you guys so much) and this was such a good year for smosh as a whole. the entirety of sword af was so fun to watch and really inspiring considering i've been writing my own dnd campaign and DMing a group of my sibling's friends all year. i had never been a DM before so getting to see damien's process as well as everyone else reactions and decisions was so incredibly helpful. the reddit stories pod made it easily to my top 5 podcasts of the year during spotify wrapped. i was listening to that or smosh mouth almost everyday at the gym/when i went biking this year. another cool experience for me at least was getting my dad and sibling into smosh as well. my dad will take any opportunity to ask if there's a new smosh video i wanna show him (i think smosh pit theater is his favorite) and my sibling is always watching old smosh games videos, even when im not there (they're also a huge fan of angela so im gonna show they starkid soon!). ive been in my fair share of toxic fandoms, but the smosh fandom (at least here on tumblr and the few smosh fans i have following me on tiktok) has been one of the best. genuinely you guys are some of the funniest most entertaining and caring and supportive people ive ever met fandom-wise, and i honestly don't think id be nearly as into smosh if it weren't for you guys. i have plenty more highlights but my fingers are tired from typing so im gonna leave it at that but happy new year's eve everyone!!! i hope 2024 is just as amazing!!! 🫶🫶

Ranking kinds of hearts in a very biased way

I'm on android, to be clear.

♡ - The best. I love this one. I use them in sets of three constantly. "♡♡♡" is a punctuation, to me. I sign my name "-Abraham ♡♡♡"

🫀 - What I use to signify I like a message on Discord. Scientific and excellent. Cool people use this one.

❣️ - Like an exclamation mark. I didn't realize this existed until just now. I should start using it.

💚 - Great color. Alien vibes. Very pleasing to my eyes. Reminds me of Spock's blood.

🖤 - Ooh. Some may think it reminiscent of a break up text. But I think it has goth flair. It should have a cobweb.

💌 - It's cute. A love letter. Very nice. I may start using it.

🫶 - I like doing this gesture inperson, so of course i like the emoji.

❤️‍🩹 - Perfect for when you're in the hospital. The bandages should be bloodied. Sutures would be nice.

💓 - Shaking with excitement, or maybe fear. They're similar emotions, anyway. Teeny tiny.

💞 - Caught in orbit, like twin sun systems in Star Trek. The nerd in me likes them. Very romantic and about to destroy each other with gravity.

❤️ - Classic and romantic. All ages and genders friendly. Basic in a good way.

💛 - This is a little kid heart. This is what you send your niece on her seventh birthday through her mom's phone.

🩵 - Very nice shade of blue. Same as yellow.

🩶 - Bland in a good way. Good shade of gray. Reminds me of sitting around doing nothing.

💖 - Glitter. I like glitter. It has pizzazz to it. Very fun in a 12 y/o girl way.

💟 - Aesthetically pleasing. Very square. A reverse of thr pink hearts, with nice negative space.

❤️‍🔥 - I see this as burning in hell. I would also send this to someone after burning down the kitchen.

🩷 A much better shade of pink than the other pink hearts. Soothing and calm.

🧡 - It should be more vivid. It's kinda boring. But Halloween vibes.

🤎 - Nice. Reminds me of dirt. I like dirt. Should have a worm in it.

🤍 - Bland and flavorless. But makes me think of the Snow Queen. Girl boss.

💗 - I can't see anything but the Looney Toons opening when I look at this. But pastel.

💙 - Fine. Not much to say really. Plain blue.

💝 - A present. Very Valentine' day themed. It's fine, I guess.

💜 - This shade of purple is so equivalent to the main hot pink hearts. Dislike.

💕 - None of the sci-fi flair of the other twin heart one.

💘 - Cupid's arrow, I suppose. Could use with more violence. Maybe some blood. Arrows are weapons.

💔 - I would like it if it were rotten. Broken apart hearts should have mold and such.

My favorite things about each X design

X1 - X3 = Face, chunky-ness?

I'm not sure how to explain!

It has a certain appeal! Maybe it's because it seems a bit reminiscent from Classic Mega Man...?

X4 - X7 = Art style

X didn't change much from X3 to the next games (except eye color and apparently rounder shoulder pads, I think), but the style is of course, iconic!

X8 = More lines, slightly more robotic look, more cylindrical

This is the best picture of him I could find because I think he doesn't look so charming in other artwork... Or the models... Oh, the models...

And he's not so bad!

I really like the x shape on his... ear lights. The lines also make it a bit more clear that he's not human. The black joints are also really cool!

Command Mission = Everything

Like look at him. Perfection is real and it's X's Command Mission design.

Ver. Ke = More robotic!!

Maverick Hunter X = Softness

Especially in Day of Sigma, X has this air of someone with a kind and gentle personality, which is perfect because that's exactly what he's like!

The way he's portrayed writing wise really helps, but design is an essential part of that too!

And they got it. He's so cute!! How do you look at him and don't want to pinch his cheeks?!

Teppen (because even that has something I like) = More robotic

The limbs and torso are literally the only things that bother me deeply about this design, because otherwise everything is so, so good!

The lights, the lines, the eyes, the halo!!!! So awesome...

hi anon! i have not seen this animatic before you've sent it to me, i really enjoyed watching it!

funnily enough even though you mentioned that it did have some vibes reminiscent of ryomina... my brain somehow did NOT process that and still got shocked by how things folded out. i can see why it vaguely reminds you of them given the story that the animatic conveys! (ohh kind depictions of death how i love you so)

ryomina aside, i always enjoy seeing cool animatic stuff... i actually watched it on monday/when you sent the ask but honestly i was so stunned and left at a loss (in a positive way) that it took me a bit to get back to this.

anyways thanks for the ask! i definitely encourage others to check out the animatic if they haven't seen it, its really cool! (but please keep in mind the content warnings, you need to log into youtube in order to be able to watch it) hope you're having a lovely day! 💛💙

8. Which tf character has the most different personality from you? Uhhhhh that’s a good question. Maybe RiD’15 Drift? He’s very rigid and not likely to have fun for the sake of having fun. Also most iterations of Shockwave are far more logical than I like to be. Sure, logic is important, but Shockwave seems to go overboard in my book. 10. Which tf character do you think you’d get along with really badly? Probably Starscream, any continuity. He's such a backstabber and I value loyalty; he's super narcissistic and people like that are quite annoying to me. Plus he's generally not very fond of humans and talks down to them, and I'm very feisty so our interactions would probably go much like Miko's and his in TFP. Many insults, mutual disgust. First off: this beautiful ocean art by Kazami is really inspiring to me. Most people probably don’t think of the ocean when they think Transformers, but...put simply, it reminds me of the ’Waves ;) I have AU versions of Shockwave and Soundwave occupying my mind, their designs inspired by the sea. And the depth in this particular piece is absolutely gorgeous. The brighter colors are reminiscent of neon, which also makes me think Wavebros, and the darker colors add to the ominous, frightening feel of the deep ocean, ever fitting for those two Decepticons. Oh! You’d probably like this as well! There’s a Fire Emblem character whose design I am absolutely in love with. He’s so spooky!!! His name is Líf and I haven’t reached his chapter in the story yet, but I’m so looking forward to that day because his design alone intrigues me. 💜 What does this have to do with Transformers? Well, he reminds me of Soundwave the most, but his “lightning antennae,” lol, remind me of both Soundwave and Optimus, which is a very interesting combination. Líf’s design gets me thinking about the uncanny ways Soundwave and Optimus are similar, something I hadn’t really considered in depth before. It’s quite fun. I was hoping someone would 😊 This would have to be, hands down, "Did You Forget Who I Am" from The Last Knight. The Bayverse is full of terrible, terrible elements, but Steve Jablonsky’s score is not one of those. All the soundtracks are incredible. And this scene from TLK is so iconic that, every time I listen to the music, I can hear Optimus' voice fill in that beat of silence with the mighty, chilling line that Peter Cullen delivered so well. 💙 It also has a special place in my heart because...I can’t help but see a connection to my faith :) This scene and therefore this song are good reminders for me when I’m having a bad day. Side note: The fact that this song surpassed the TFP theme to become my favorite Transformers piece of music really says a lot about its impact. 19. Which depiction of cybertron in a tf media do you most want to live in? Does the answer vary depending on if you’re human or cybertronian? Lol okay so gut reaction would say "G1 Cybertron" because 1) humans can apparently breathe up there without issue (and not be harmed by acid rain, so that's a huge plus), and 2) while the Autobots and Decepticons were bickering on earth I could just go hang out with Shockwave, who's all alone just chilling 😂 But if oxygen wasn't an issue? Definitely post-Predacons-Rising Cybertron. I would love to rebuild the planet along with Team Prime and listen to their stories as they began to heal emotionally from the long conflict. I would also love to see what elements of the planet they repaired true to the original design, and which elements they rebuilt completely to start off on a blank slate, and the implications of each decision. It would be cool to live in a revitalized Cybertron and watch refugees return and new sparks be forged gradually over time until the planet was bustling again. And if I could show up a bit earlier and be present for Bumblebee's Warrior knighting ceremony that would be pretty cool too. 💛

some favorite smosh memories...

the simple fact that i returned to smosh after a lengthy absence.... and seeing how much it's grown and changed since I tuned in!

seeing Anthony return was definitely a top moment of my year on the internet. a massive "oh my god? and im here to see it with my own eyes?"

getting into Smosh led me to getting into other things as well; Damien and his streams led me back to twitch, Angela led me to Starkid. They also sorta introduced me to podcasts again!!

i only joined in on the fandom side during the middle of this year. I was nervous to be honest (and still am), but I have met and interacted with so many cool and fun and talented people. i like it here!

So proud of my family! Always proud to talk about my family & their successes because brains/intelligence, & success runs in the family like my older sister Catherine Van-Schwartz (Catt Van) who was a local former KOLO 8 News Reporter years ago then 7 years as a news reporter then news reporter in Oregon Katu2News. Also Gonzaga University Graduate Post (Summa Cum Laude-highest degree) from way back in 2012.
