Gotta be honest, on one hand I appreciate the thought that communities on Tumblr could help artists, writers and fans connect through shared interests. But I'm also worried it will create an insular structure where reaching more people will be near impossible.
Imo, one of the best experiences on Tumblr is seeing people you follow lose their shit over some random show you’ve never heard of and then checking out that show and discover “wow that’s pretty neat!”
I have the feeling this kind of experience will be likely lost if more people start isolating inside thematic communities.

—and if that fails, he can always plan playdates for you with whatever dirty secret Johnny’s been keeping tucked away in the woods.
OH......... PLEASE feel free to elaborate on Johnny and his little secret in the woods 👁️👁️
haha it's kind of drawing on this a bit, but with a perspective shift from reader to Soap just to keep up with the theme of this weird little series. but basically: Johnny finds you hiking and all alone (and injured, too), and considers it his civic duty to help you (and help himself to a wife in the process).
and in many ways, i see him as being so much worse compared to Price or Ghost. devoted in that ugly, needy way. a very oily limerence. the one that crafts narratives from emptiness, from nothing, and sews them into reality. but you asked him for help. and he's reckless enough to see it through to the end (but that end is "until death do us part" so maybe you should have just called a park ranger instead. oops.).

i can’t stop describing maul as innately predatory, radiating silky danger and watchful teeth even when he appears at ease. the man has lived his entire life as a tiger in a cage; he does not do soft, because soft gets you killed, and he refuses to die.
i love writing him feline, elegant and animal bound together. there is something about him that innately triggers the primal in all who encounter him: the hair on your body pricks up, every sensory nerve kicking to life as that ancient evolutionary awareness that something is watching you, and it is hungry settles too-tight on your skin. his presence is paranoia, it’s that inner prickle when you whip around because you can feel someone watching you, but no one’s there. uncanny. unnerving. unwanted.
even when he’s caught and locked in a cell and you are separated by bars and force-blocking cuffs and solid walls, watching him watch you back feels like seeing a caged tiger for the first time, comes with the rapid onset feeling of, “oh.” this person, this thing is so much bigger, so much more dangerous, so much more unknowable than you ever anticipated, and for a split second you do not believe those cage bars will contain him. but then you think, no, metal is metal and you’re safe here. you’re safe. you are. and maul looks at you, contained, padding his cell carefully, knowing exactly when to turn without looking, golden eyes aglow and fixed on yours, and you can almost hear, in the menacing rumble unfurling inside his chest, an ancient word, one your animal ancestors knew but you’ve since evolved too far past to recognize, that feels a lot like “for now.”

I have a question that I don't know the answer to. And I'm not sure if there's already an answer to this or not.
Why is Wally the only neighbor with no noes and no eyebrows? Was that like a way to make Wally seem like an outcast or something??
It droved me crazy with confusion the first time I realized this.......
And PLEASE don't see this as an ask of me "JUST noticing now". I noticed a month ago (ever sense I first started loving Welcome Home as a hyperfixation) but I kept it to myself because I was too embarrassed to ask to really know. And it's really ok if you don't know either.
oh yeah no to my knowledge we don't know why that's a Design Choice That Exists! could be to make him look a little more unsettling than the others (more out of place within his own niche to kinda mirror how he's Different despite filling the role he's made for & existing in the place he Should Be In) bc this is a Horror project, or just because no nose/eyebrows looked best on him-
but it might be something we're not In On yet! lore we haven't learned! we just don't know

Me: *listening to character in an anime sing for the hundredth time as he forges a weapon for the MC* "This song is so cool, I love it!"
My imagination: *imagines Vakama as a Toa in a fantasy setting forging weapons for his team while singing the same song*
Me: "......dangit, I'm trying to rewrite old ideas for Bionicle, not create another AU for it!"
Song in question that inspired the idea

Why did they create such a useless character to show Cinder's backstory when Salem is literally right there AND the real question the audience wants answered???
Imagine if it had been Salem who stayed at the hotel and saw something of herself in the scrappy servant girl. She saw how the Madame treated little Cinder and offered a way out only if Cinder has the power to be useful to her. Maybe she put Cinder to a test of how far she was willing to go for freedom, or maybe Salem wanted something from the Madame that she wouldn't give so it was up to Cinder to provide
Either way, Salem gets a young disciple that's ruthlessly ambitious and easy to manipulate and Cinder gains the illusion of freedom under a new master
