Hey! Another aroace here!. QPR Alastor is Life. I as an aroace do no feel romantic love but the love I feel platonically is incredibly strong. Just as strong as any romantic feeling, just different. An Aroace can do stuff that is considered romantic too. Like kisses for example. Or cuddling. As asexuals can have sex. Asexuality and aromanticsm is not feeling the attraction. That doesnt mean you have to hate or dont want x or y. Every Aroace is a bit different since its an expectrum. Dont be discouraged of a ship because the character is Aroace. Sometimes that just makes It more interesting. Being Aroace is just another thing, not your whole personality.

For Alastor? Maybe he can be repulsed by all or maybe as his friend said "he is a Big Kitty" he can really like certain things but do not see them as romantic or dont care about It. You get me?. :) I would love to see more people play with the idea that is an spectrum. A lot of people once they Discover someone is Aroace automatically they think about a person dont wanting anything to do with anything It feels like they faked their love for them or involvement. Its not like that.

So just have fun!

While being AroAce is a spectrum,(I personally don't want Sex or Romance but My brother is Demiromantic and I know many other AroAce people who do want relationships) and I agree it makes a lot of ships and such more interesting.

However I've also seen a lot of people using that as an excuse to just completely erase his identity.

Of course people can and really should have fun shipping Alastor, it's also important to acknowledge his identity within your shipping, and explore how he feels about romance.

No hate at all to you and I totally agree with everything you said, I just wanted to clarify that this post was for those who erase his identity completely.

Im getting rather annoyed

No. Everyone has the right yo ship what they want. Whatever brings you joy. This is but my opinon thats it. No judgement no shame. Im venting.

Now im a bit of a multishipper. Like to see some diversity in art you know? But never have i met such people that are so angry or vicious as tipo shippers. Kung fu panda po x tigress

Where do i start with this? Never in the course of the films have at any point do they show or hint that their crushing on each other. No romantic coded scenes. Nothing. So thats unfortunate why i don't see what all you lovley people see because i dont.

Tigress tai lung and po are conected in the parent upbringing sibling cycle. But hey ship whatever you want.

Now this is where people start to hate on me but let me clarify no hate nor disrespect to anyone. Im sick of looking at kung fu panda art and what? 97% of it is tigress? How abertary. Dull. What about the others? Do they not deserve as much attention? Clearly not.

As for the ship people get my goat "make it canon" blah blah. In the art of story telling to have it rondomly their into each other after like nothing? Makes for bad writing.

I do enjoy anything kung fu panda related but the ship for me anyway just doesn't fly. Those whom are super into the franchise are like yes they are but those who have seen all three films and enjoy them are like what? No.

Again if your going to ship them why on earth is tigress oc? Like shes all happy and silly? No.

Still here? Angry yet? Fuming because my trained animation degree with honors head doesnt comprehend what apparently im missing? Well thats ok.

Now i know alot of people who are actually nice but ive met vicious fans directing their hate towards me. Death threats. Vulgar language. The works. Made me just not want to draw anything kung fu panda related due to it.

Now recently due to the encouragement of others i did draw ship art. Dragon knight? Yes. Why? Because its actually hinted at in such a badly written way. I wont get into it. Thats a rant another time.

Now as something that i personally dont like and that goes across any anthro media is interspecies relations. Not a fan. However their ate acceptions to the rule and that has alot to do with the universe in which the fandom is set. BNA for example. The grimior of zero explains this perfectly, interspecies actually doesnt matter due to the world building. But in cases like zootopia or kung fu panda (films only) interspecies relationships arnt explored nor shown.

As for tipo po loves kung fu thats it. The only time he has ever shown any interest in a girl is meimei. Drops his baobao bun. Pupils dilate. yes theirs a but the illusion broke when she spoke soooo that doesn't really count.

Still here? Well good for you. still pissed at me for not conforming to liking what everyone else does? Well that too is ok.

If you ship tipo thats cool. Heck ive seen art. Some of its nice. Art is art and a ship diesnt define a person. But stop with the viciousness po will probably never end up with tigress. But thats a good thing. He doesnt end up with anyone. That way everyone wins. But the viciousness and anger and the make it canon because insert reaons here is so stupid.

I hate being affected by twitter and other social medias

Ok so like, yknow how in my posts i'd be all like "stab me w/ pitchforks but i rlly like:" yknow right? well thats bc of the stupid affect I got from being on other social media, or hell games (Twitter, Tik Tok, Roblox) Like hell it might've not been me ever but I saw people get bullied on these platforms and I always just was like anxiously twiddling my thumbs all like "erm.. what if that happens to me.." LIKE I DONT WANNA FEEL THAT WAY!! wWWAAAAA!! sothats kinda why I was always so anxious when I posted Polyblank x Agent Phoenix, its actually just probably one of my top fav ships but I called it a "Joke ship" at first cause if I thought if people knew it was a genuine ship I would be just laughed at for it lol, I DONT FEEL THAT WAY ANYMORE ACTUALLY!! Ive gotten way more proud at posting the things I like and being confident!! And even if someone dislikes it and goes out their way to comment it, Ive just been reminding myself that its MY account, MY page, Im supposed to be able to express myself on here, it doesnt matter HOW embarrassing it is, I plan to just act a lil more confident on my posts!!

The Quenverse is so real!!!!!! It's something goddcoward and I have discussed at length, including (but not limited to) full genderbend Throbb (with Quenlyn & Robyn) and the Ironborn-Tully "Let's Fuck Nasty" Initiative (with increasingly unhinged pairing up of Greyjoys/Harlaws and Tullys. This includes Alannys/Catelyn, Rod the Reader/Brynden the Blackfish, Gwynesse/Lysa, Aeron/Edmure, etc.) goddcoward also has a bunch incredibly fun AUs, including what has been affectionately dubbed "sigil furries", where the Greyjoys are actual humanoid cephalopods and the Starks are werewolf-maxing. Not to mention goddcoward's AU take on Quobb with arranged marriage, which they're still working on... ;-)

I'm so incredibly flattered that this fic got you to like Throbb, even just for the purposes of this story. Also, confession: I didn't really like genderbends either- that is, until I started writing this story lol. I think it's just because I didn't feel like genderbends were often well-handled in ASOIAF fics, even for a world as Gendered as Westeros? (Not to say they all suck, I've just run into a few that I thought were... Ungood.)

Theon's experience with gender is so incredibly fascinating, and the prospect of him being born female raises so many interesting questions about who he would even be (and thus this fic was born lol). See vivacissimx's theon's gender was always broken, which is prob the #1 Theon Gender primer.

I'm also glad you came around to Robb, haha. You're sounding like Quen in my inbox: "now i want him back???? come home???? wheres the boy?????? our boy???" For a long time, I was mostly interested in Robb as a compliment to Theon and Catelyn's characters, but I've really come to appreciate him in his own right. I can't wait for all the tender Quen-Robb moments in the endgame of this fic 🥲

well anywayzz, i totally agree with you there. i was also pretty online during the "anything goes" era of the internet, and so modern landscapes of culture around shipping and shit is pretty dumb to me. In most aspects, really. I don't get the whole "us vs them" mentality of proshippers/anti-shippers or whatever, i'm pretty individualistic in the sense that i feel this shouldn't be a group thing and it should just be "post whatever u feel like and if u see smth u dont like block and move on, that easy". also cuz overall the whole shipping morality thing in and of itself ties back to morality in what fiction is and isnt okay and that is a HUUUGELY nuanced discussion that CANNOT be boiled down to just 2 sides......so i very much disagree with that approach. i know i have people on "either" side following me, ppl who identify as proshippers or antis, n just to clarify i have nothing against either "side", u do u, not my business, i just personally don't agree with the idea of whittling it down to something so anti-nuanced. but hey again this is why i don't rlly discuss this sort of thing on here bcuz it's a biiig biig serious topic and brotha im on tumblr dot com posting about twincest from a 2000s anime does it look like im taking myself very seriously here...

Lizh is short for Lizherubones, also known as TwistedBones, BastardButcher, or Butcherz0ne. They were a popular fontcest artist back in like 2016/17 when tumblr allowed nsfw. A year ago he was somewhat de-platformed because he had a Swastika in his pfp (though he came back), and he enjoys artists like Shadman. To sum up the timeline since i would need to dig to find the og post i made:

To clarify im not seeking them out, i dont want a sorry and i dont want any issues. Even if people think they could help with confronting him it will make my anxiety with him worse sjsjsjs They used to be a inspo of mine, but it crumbled fast when they threatened to sue me for tracing way back (understandable, but diff laws and such and i was i think.. 11-13? i never sold any traced art so i never made money, just used it to learn i guess. App i posted it on is deleted, it was called DoodleClub.) After that i didnt see them until 2018/19, when they found me on insta (people kept @ ing them in my comments for some reason) and threatened me again. Dont think they realized i was the same child. This time they threatened to sue me because i copied colors n shit basically After this on Halloween of 2019 was the final time i ever interacted with them. On twitter. There i was posting and liked some of their posts, i was still a fan and enjoyed them. At a random point waves of their fans/followers/friends attacked me, including them messaging me something roughly of "If you had listened and stopped this wouldnt have happened" Everyone thought i had traced them, stole their art and put my own watermark (flattering for some 14 y/o to hear) on it and ect, even if i posted speedpaint proving i didnt their main ammo for attack was a green skeleton OC of mine named Ezher; who looked similar to their OC Rheiz, only thing that made them a copy was being green basically. They have a friend who was very kind to me tho, they helped me redesign Ezher with a blue/red palette, and even helped me find new outfit pieces for him. Though now Ezher is with a different story and look (he is human now) and is shipped with a oc my gf owns.

I should add they have a HUGE history of this, sometimes i understand, when people traced you all the time back in your golden years i can understand the hate you would have towards people, specially minors. But when he went out of his way to harass a 11 year old girl (not me but scary enough it was a year prior to me finding him) for almost a year or two before they vanished offline, even after they stopped tracing, he publicly humiliated them on his facebook, you begin to wonder if he actually is upset and proving a point, or gets a kick out of abusing his platform. Its a hypocritical pattern because he used to do it all the time before he too was called out.

I posted this on twitter and I wanted to post it here too cuz I'm a menace idk LMAO heres my (bad) opinions about most Redacted characters. Feel free to talk / disagree with me in fact its encouraged if you wanna!!

Vincent: I like him as a character much more than his plot. "Lovely gets hurt. He has to save them." Repeat til death... actually, continue to repeat post death. While at the same time being similar enough to the freelancer storyline for me to notice (flirtatious immortal magic user who doesnt understand boundaries helps humanborn magic user navigate the magical world, ft being taken advantage of by someone else because of their lack of knowledge, going to damn, etc etc). I really do love him as a character, though, he is so dang sweet, his nightmare comfort is one of my favorites and his character development was great I luv him

Sam: My comfort character, my favorite! I struggle with this because since I joined the fandom, and since the honor of comfort character was bestowed upon him, he has changed a lot, and his original plotline has been neglected imo. Also the jokes about him being old (he is a singular year older than vincent) and a cowboy (he has a southern accent) were never a thing earlier on and honestly they kind of bother me, just cuz they dont make sense to me. If it was occasional that would be fine, but it's become the punchline of every joke? Truly I think my issues started when they became mates, simply because that was a Bonus Audio. Sam set a boundary and then went to bone town in his very next standalone vid. It felt really rushed and unneeded. Maybe I just found comfort in the fact that neither him nor the listener were being sexualized. The one after it was spice too. The fact that imp!Sam exists, that it is a possibility for him to be the way he is there if circumstances were different, alone confuses me and makes me think I've misinterpreted his character. Despite all of that, I love him very very much. The first half of his storyline is amazing and I really hope they bring it back full throttle. The struggle for trust between him and darlin and them becoming partners despite their circumstances is really cool. Both of them being rough and tough and unfeeling on the outside but truly soft and gentle and touch starved 😭😭❤... I love them dearly, especially as a concept and their potential and I cant wait to see more of them and I want them to have a good ending even if I literally cant conceptualize a happy ending for them LMAO

Adam: ... my skrunkly.. I absolutely adore the idea that went into him, and like... his character idk hes just so cool. One of my favorites even if short lived

David: hmmm hmmm... I like him a lot. The beginning of his playlist bothers me, and his talk with Darlin was iffy, but if you get past that stuff, I do really appreciate him. Hes very good. I want to see him sad more I love his angsty stuff and his voice is nice to listen to

Asher: his voice is a cheese grater to my brain. He is my favorite wolf despite this. Before the inversion, I wasn't 100% sold on him, but during and after it? Hes just so good and genuine and soft and I am so down, even if his voice took a second to adjust to. I don't have much to say here simply because hes just very good

Milo: hes good! I didnt pay a ton of attention to him, admittedly. I wish sweetheart got some more focus, theres such a great opportunity there to clarify some stuff about the department

Hes the character who holds the most of my favorite videos. I just want them to be happy so bad. I relate to him the very most. Hes never done anything wrong in his life. Actually he has but I understand why he did it too much to possibly judge him for it. 10/10 I adore his storyline and his listener and their relationship and I just want everything to be okay for them and I want to see more fluff from him so bad 😭😭 I think he is easily one of the most well written characters and best plot lines, but the stuff after his confession so far couldve been consolidated / shortened and been just as effective

Regulus: Empathy daemons in general being compared to children worries me too much to watch his videos. I have lots of thoughts about (empathy) daemon ages and how they work but I have no idea what's canon and that in and of itself is the problem

Vega: My third favorite! Absolute love of my life I loved him before anyone else fuk u guys prime Vega is perfect (/j) and I am SO excited to see where his story goes I love being manipulated I love how hes a total monster but hes so chill about it he has gaslit me into thinking hes a good person and I'm cool with it I love him so much hes probably my favorite to listen to he is very well written and his voice is so soothing 10/10

Alexis: Unpopular opinion time: She did nothing wrong. Sam is absolutely allowed to be upset, hes allowed to be pissed, hes allowed to never forgive her. He can feel whatever he needs to to get through what happened to him. She did nothing wrong and I will die on this hill. Maybe she should've given him longer to try to save himself. Maybe she could've been more gentle. They were BOTH panicking. They were both in shock. Vincent was turned against his will under very similar circumstances. He hated william for it. But we dont villainize William, in fact we praise him for saving Vincent. For all we know, Alexis has a very positive relationship with being a vampire and her own turning, and didnt really understand the gravity of the change she was about to put him through. I'm not saying shes a perfect character with no flaws, or that we should praise her, but she did a perfectly human thing. I dont see how saving someone you love and then never ever pushing when they dont want to see you again could possibly mean she had bad intentions or is a bad person

I have an anti Bram rant that is literally going through my head 24 hours a day.

First of all, in season 4 when Brittany said something about the "lesbian bloggers," I dont know if that was aimed at Brittana fans, like we would be mad that Brittany dated a guy. I want to clarify that I do not hate Bram because she was dating a guy, I just hated them.

• I mean the most obvious thing is that Brittany and Sam had absolutely 0% on screen chemistry, which is literally what Brittana was built on. Just something about Bram was so stiff and hard to watch. It's like Brittany looked miserable every scene she had with Sam. I don't know if that was an acting choice or if if was accidental, but it happened.

• Sam said that Santana never liked him because she knew he had a crush on Brittany. Which was a definite lie seeing as he had spent the entirety of season 3 obsessing over Mercedes and trying to break up her and her boyfriend.

• I shouldn't really view Bram as a threat because they weren't. I mean Sam vs Santana, the choice is obvious. I always saw it as like the ad break during your favourite show, usually people go on their phones and pay no attention to the tv during the commercial break. It's an inconvenience because it interrupts your favourite show (Brittana) but it is a thing that had to happen and it is inevitable that the show will come back on afterwards.

• I know this is mean but I don't think Chord Overstreet is that good of an actor. I know this is an unpopular opinion so I'm sorry. His acting was always cringey to me, even in season 2, he just seemed boring.

Just everything about it seemed so wrong to me and every time they come on the screen I turn the tv way down and go on Instagram to look at pictures of Naya Rivera 😂.

I'm trying to get over it and not be such a drama queen because they are fictional. Also if they seemed like a better fit then I would be in a way worse situation, however, because every scene they were in together was dead and the acting/chemistry was awful it's not too bad.

I am still and out and proud Bram hater, and I will not deny it to anyone that asks me.

Ps. Santana has better abs than Sam.

I approach Bram from a bit of a different pov but I always love an anti Bram rant so cheers, I'll drink to all this. That stupid joke was indeed aimed at Brittana fans, as far as I know, and that makes me want to commit violent crimes.

Maybe it could have worked as an okay midgame ship but everything about its execution was just so skin crawl-worthy, from the "jokes" aimed at fans (punching down much?) to the writers' only tool being bringing other relationships down to elevate Bram because they weren't willing to put any actual effort into it. They threw Samcedes just as much under the bus as Brittana and that's just so nasty.

Much love to Hemo and nothing against Chord but neither were what I'd call the best actors on the show, or even particularly... good, in general. I think Hemo was better than she often gets credit for and improved immensely in both singing and acting, but that stiffness could very well come from both being on the weaker end of acting. Just what happens when there's no Naya to sell the story, I'm afraid. And little to zero effort on the script's part. This isn't a huge factor in why I personally dislike them as a couple but a noteworthy point anyway.

You're in good company with the anti Bram sentiment. I don't care about them that much but I'm (kinda) currently rewatching season 4 and some of it is hard to sit through. They're just annoying lol. Most midgames I just don't care for (except for Wildebrams!!! justice for them) but Bram was actively hostile against fans and that's what pisses me off the most. Ryan Murphy chose violence by punching down so I won't hesitate to shit on this frustrating pairing. I also dislike it when people hate on Bram because they just hate Brittany and think Sam deserved better but that's another topic entirely lmao.

i kinda get and kinda dont get what you mean when you say dragonfru1t is most likely to be canon? like i get they have a lot of interactions but i think its more accurate to say no ships will be canon, flying bark seems to really steer away from romance in their shows (glitch techs, rotmnt, 100% wolf). the company seems to super focus on platonic bonds and found family as a whole

I’m assuming this is coming from these tweets I sent recently out of frustration with some “my ship isn’t the most popular one!!” whining I saw going on so I’ll add a screenshot for anyone who’s curious about the full context here:

Just to help clarify right off the bat, my main point of bringing Dragonfruit up was to say that, if I were to be one of those people who genuinely felt I needed to ship the most “analytically “cOrReCt” ship”, I would be shipping Dragonfruit and Dragonfruit alone.

Yet here I am with Spicynoodles as my OTP (despite Dragonfruit being my first ship of the series and the one that I have the most AMV’s about as well as still being a ship I enjoy because I am a multishipper)

Because I’m not held down by the bitter bs of when I was a teenager thinking I had to be “Right” in how I approached things that are meant to be for fun. Like shipping in fandom. (See also - my whole rant towards those people who were whining about how “If all you do when you take in media is look for ways to ship in it, you are objectively missing out and thus are bad and stupid”)

To answer your questions:

My main point that I didn’t have the character space for in regards to “Which is most likely to become canon” would be better worded as “If any ship was in the running of possibly being canon, it would be Red Son x Xiaojiao/Mei.“

While I am of the opinion that - similar to my hot take that the LBD host does NOT need to become a major character - this series does not have enough time to waste on dealing with the complications romance would bring to a story already focused on complicated platonic relationships, I still can’t ignore the simple fact that the only couple that has the most on-screen reasoning AND out-of-universe meta elements lined up to make them canon is Dragonfruit.

(See also - my reasoning why “What Makes It Complicated” will never have romance in it outright. The story is about complicated relationships with those you care about but fear you SHOULDN’T care about despite their best efforts via Wukong and Kumi, and adding romance to it would muddy the whole thing up in ways I have no reason to put the audience through)

I haven’t seen anything else of Flying Bark’s unfortunately (please don’t suggest Rise to me. I do not care for TMNT. It has NEVER appealed to me in any iteration. I’ve seen clips from Rise already. Animation looks other worldly. The show’s not for me.) but I am definitely willing to take your word for it that they don’t include romance in their work.

My opinion that Dragonfruit is the most likely ship to become canon comes with a giant “IF” in front for “IF there is going to be ANY ship that becomes canon”.

And for the last question:

Yes and I would hate it and that’s exactly why I am in love with how Calabash shut down my nemesis before they could even get off the ground.

“Main guy should always get with main girl!” is the source of so much shipping drama - even when people don’t realize that that’s exactly what their “But they have the most screen time together!” arguments are based on - and more for more than one ship war that I have seen for myself and I am glad to have that explicitly avoided.

If someone still ships them, that’s fair.

I still ship spicynoodles despite, as I’ve said, there’s not a whole lot of in-universe reasons to see them as “correct” analytically speaking.

I’m just relieved to have avoided “Main Guy x Main Girl just ‘cause” arguments being thrown around in fights.
