characters who dig themselves out of their graves (whether literal or metaphorical) are at the top of the list. nothing beats a character who should have died but didn't and comes back to haunt their own life and the world around them, benevolent or violent it doesn't matter, it's enthralling either way

thinking yet again about Saiki‘s’s final choice in the series being “I’d rather live with my powers than die without them” bc that is seriously the single best ending of a disability narrative I’ve seen. Fuck.

The death of Nex & queer people like him scares me.
It scares me because that could've been me.
It scares me because that could've been my friends.
And it scares me even more knowing that if I knew him, we probably could've been friends.
He deserved to live.
He deserved to live to 17.
He deserved to graduate high school.
He deserved to grow up and accomplish things.
And now that he's gone, he deserves to have the full truth told about his death.

"God loves you so much he wont let you die horror trope" is basically the plot of the first few seasons of the venture bros from hank and deans perspective except instead of god its rusty and also they spend like 16 years not knowing this is happening

We know Thalia threw Percy under the bus by making sure he'd be the prophecy child instead of her...but Percy wasn't able to do that to Nico even if he wanted to. He has no option to be immortal. The prophecy was always going to fall to Percy because he's two years older than Nico and that's how time works.

Fnaf au where William figures out how to actually resurrect cc and then the aftons just have to live with that— not only is cc undead now but dad is freaking victor Frankenstein !! (like, literally, I imagine William discovered how to harvest remnant from recently deceased corpses rather then killing anyone himself, thus the mci doesn’t happen and Charlie doesn’t die either)
They just have to pretend this is normal and fine

Is angel Himawari canon?
IN A WAY YES? JKSGFHKJEHGKJH like when we're speaking outside the Fucked Up Lore with the realm and gods (that no one knows if it was a dream or in her mind or whatever), himawari did actually die at the age of 16 and she got all her memory and personality and brain transferred in a robot, therefore sort-of ''reincarnating'' her, so she's sometimes referred as an angel
also this small reference in the back of her cape in the blue fever uniform
however if we're keeping in mind the fucked up lore with all the gods then it's 100% canon. that mf died like 5 times at this point and she got killed by a god once
so in short. yeah maybe

B meeting Mello and recognizing him as his spiritual little brother. B understanding what it's like to fight from within the impossible shadow of someone who is more cerebral/less emotional. B loving Mello best because they will both be the violent heart of a genius.
And maybe Mello becoming obsessed with the lore of Beyond. Mello telling the younger kids all about him and A and everything that came before them. Mello writing his story from the afterlife because he's the only one who can.

My funny little murder cats from my funny little murder cats game
Story explanation:
Kinkstreak, Oddflower and Ganderspeckle are littermates. Ganderspecke becomes mates with Opheliabite and Oddflower becomes mates with Kingwing. At some point, Ganderspeckle and Kingwing start an affair and much later down the line have a kit, Faithkit, that Opheliabite was led to believe was his. Oddflower has been suspecting the two of cheating and eventually confronts Ganderspeckle which turns violent and Ganderspeckle gets killed. Kinkstreak helps cover up the murder, then later during the vigil, Flowerpelt, who's been suspicious of and spying on his father for a while now, outs his secret affair and accuses him of killing Ganderspeckle. Kinkstreak finds this awfully convenient and lies in support of Flowerpelt to frame Kingwing. Opheliabite snaps and tackles Kingwing, who after getting free runs away and never returns to the clan.
Shortly after this, their leader and mother Coyotestar, being unable to cope with the loss of her kit, decides to step down and Kinkstreak is promoted to leader.
Aka just a normal day in CoyoteClan tbh
