ok so me and my 14 year old brother are watching the percy jackson show together and I cannot get over what he said about this most recent episode:

yo, when percy told annabeth that he didn’t think they would ever be friends and she made that pained expression i felt for her so hard, dude. like can you imagine? she’s already, like, the leader of her cabin at 12, which has GOT to be isolating as hell. not to mention, she has a harder time making friends in general because she rarely leaves the camp. sprinkle in the fact that she’s dealing with her own mothers bullshit parenting, and you realize real quick that she and percy are basically the same, you know? struggling to find people who understand you and actually give a shit about you beyond a surface level.

your honor this show is amazing, given that i think that was the deepest conversation i’ve EVER had with my younger brother.

Not sure what to do.....i have been on antidepressants since october and i started to feel okay a few weeks ago so i havent taken a one for about 3 weeks now. One person says its a good thing, another person asked if i was sure it was the right thing to be doing and my boyfriend says i should keep taking them because when i dont take them he can notice a big difference in the way i am.......no idea what to do for best tbh. Dont want to have to rely on a tablet to make me feel a little bit okay but i also dont want to go back to how i was and start feeling the way i did again....

ok, so elemental might be one of my favorite pixar movies of all time. and i want to talk abt it cause no one else will.

i don’t know what drew me in first. the fact that it was a love story which i was NOT expecting given the awkward vanilla mayonnaise way it was advertised. maybe it’s the fact that it’s a story about a child of immigrants first and foremost, a point that got me right in the chest.

Y’all i don’t know; it was the weird and amazing visuals, it was the relatability, it was the cute love story that didn’t feel forced or weird in the slightest.

it was funny, heartfelt and fucking adorable. i’ve never seen my story told through animation like this before in such a creative and articulate way (not the love part lol but the child of immigrants bit).

Respectfully, this movie had the worst fucking drop date in HISTORY. and i know it’s gonna flop. No one’s gonna give this the chance it deserves and pixar put zero energy into promoting this the way it needed to be knowing that it had atsv AND the little mermaid to compete with it.

All i ask is that you give it some love. I really think you’d like it

the show needs to start introducing characters i don’t care about and ruining their lives QUICKLY, because I’m wayyyy to emotionally attached to these ones.

Like it would ruin my year if anything happens to a single one of them. And all those analysts talking about how Marie or Jordan are probably gonna be the ones to go can ACTUALLY go fvck themselves.
