summary: Being an idol can be lonely and isolating. After one fun and adventurous night at a bar, Chan decides to text the girl he met the night before. Except, she gave him the the wrong number?

When Chan came to pick you up from the bus stop, you were careful to just nod to signal that you acknowledged each other. Over the past few months of you two hanging out, and the past couple of weeks of you dating, you've been careful when in public. More so when you're in Seoul. Back when you were in Gyeongju-si, you didn't have to be as careful. The odds of people being aware that Chan was out there were slim and you could at least comfortably hold hands for the rest of your three-day trip without worry. It's harder in the city where fangirls are hyper-aware that their favorite idol can be lurking around somewhere.

In all that time, you've never been to either one of the dorms. And honestly, you weren't exactly ready for that. But when Chan came up to you last week about officially meeting the rest of the boys at the cuties' dorm, you saw the look in his eyes that made you melt. And so you caved. You're meeting his family. He's comfortable enough to have you meet his best friends, and maybe that means one day soon you'll be able to bring him to meet yours.

"Why are we meeting at the other dorm and not yours?" You asked. You were about a foot away from Chan. You desperately wished you could hold his hand for comfort as you walked. Even if you could, Chan is also holding the cake you made for the boys and you know he would just end up dropping it if you two held hands right now.

"The other dorm is bigger." He answers simply.

It's not until you're inside the safety of the cuties' dorm that Chan pulls down his mask and quickly kisses you to properly greet you.

"My eyes!" You hear someone scream. You turn your head to see I.N covering his eyes.

"I'm guessing they're here and kissing?" You hear Hyunjin call from somewhere in the dorm.

"H-hello," You stutter, embarrassed to have been caught kissing Chan.

"In, you can open your eyes. We weren't even making out." Chan laughs. He's not wrong, it was a quick peck at best.

"I think I'm scarred for life." He cries out. You see Felix pop out from the side of the entranceway.

"What's in the box?" He asks, coming closer to you and Chan. His eyes travel over to you, "Oh, hi! What's in the box?" He asks, quickly wrapping you in a hug. You know Felix is big on skinship, but it surprises you how true it is.

"Where's Hyunjin?" You whisper, eyes looking out for the dramatic boy.

"The other room, why?" Felix scrunches his nose in confusion. You slightly tiptoe to reach Lix's ear.

"It's a carrot cake," You whisper into his ear. You pull away and watch as Felix's mouth drops open.

"What did you tell him?" Chan asks, watching Felix's expression.

"She's a fucking evil genius and I'm in love." He breathes, making you laugh. If this had happened before you met Chan, you would have folded just hearing Felix saying he's in love with you.

"Not in a serious way, right Lix?" You ask.

"Come back to me on that," He teases.

"Felix," Chan warns.

"Nobody is going to try to steal your girlfriend from you old man. Especially not Felix, even though he's probably the only one of us who has the guts to do so and can get away with it." Seungmin says after pushing In safely into the other room.

"See, old man? You have nothing to worry about. Now stop pouting and put my cake in the fridge or something. Please?" You kiss his cheek and send him on his way.

Felix loops his arm into yours and pulls you in the opposite direction of where Chan went, leading you to the living room where the rest of the kids are.

"I see Yongbokkie has already started causing trouble." Changbin sighs, putting his phone in his pocket.

"I'm not the one causing trouble today so shut the fuck up." He whines as he drags you to one of the couches and forces you to sit down.

"You're the only one here who would. Maybe except Hannie," Minho mutters the last part under his breath.

The atmosphere is tense, almost like how it was during the meet and greet. You feel like you're interrupting something. You're not entirely sure what, but the vibes are completely off.

"Hey, I heard that and that's not fair." Jisung whines, shaking his shoulders in the same way he does when he doesn't get his way. You've only seen it in videos, but good to know he does it in real life.

"It's nice to meet you all," You quickly say, to avoid whatever fight is bound to happen, causing all attention to be on you.

"But we've already met, Y/n." Hyunjin points out.

"Yeah, but the context was different. Back then I was a fan meeting her idols and now, I'm a girl meeting her boyfriend's brothers."

"Wow, you really won the lottery, huh? From fan to girlfriend." Jisung says sarcastically.

"Jisung," Minho warns.

"No, it's fine. I know he doesn't necessarily like me. I know all of you are wary of me. You guys are worried about Chan and his well-being and that’s good. I’m glad he has friends who care for him so much. My friends are the same way. But I promise you that my intentions are pure. If I was a sasaeng, wouldn’t it make more sense if I went after Felix? Plus, since I am a fan of yours, if I was a stalker, I’d just mold my personality to be someone that you all would like. Or at the very least make all of your favorite desserts to bribe you.” You say simply.

“She’s feisty. I like her. She’s going to make this group so interesting.” Hyunjin says excitedly, sitting up from his spot on the couch.

“Hyung, you just live for drama,” In adds.

“Not enough drama in my life,” Hyunjin mutters.

You feel arms wrap around you and a big wet kiss being pressed against your cheek. You can't help but blush.

"Topher, we talked about this," You warned, taking Chan's hands off of you. He lets go and climbs over the couch to sit next to you, forcing you and Felix to scoot closer together.

"Topher?" Changbin asks, a devilish smirk across his face as he now leans in.

"Did he never tell you about Topher torture time?" You ask, amused you turn to Chan who has a pleading look on his face.

"What's Topher torture time?" Seungmin asks, slightly interested in the conversation now.

"Before Channie and I were good friends I would refer to him as Topher because he introduced himself as Chris. You know Chris...Topher? So I would bug him every day and call it Topher torture time."

"She could give Bin a run for his money with how annoying she can get." Chan sighs.

"It made you fall in love with me so I don't know why you're complaining. And that wasn't even the plan. The plan was to teach you a lesson in text numbers of girls you meet in bars."

"I lucked out in the end either way," Chan says, pulling you into a hug and putting his face next to yours, kissing your cheek. You scrunch your face and wiggle out of his grip.

"Oh, he's doing what he does with us," In points out.

"Do you not like skinship, Y/n?" Minho asks.

"She does," Chan leans back into the couch and drapes his arm around your shoulder, "But she knows that some of you don't and are a bit uncomfortable with PDA so she asked me to dial it down a bit. But I can't help it, she's so cute--"

"If you pinch my cheeks, I'm going home." You say, putting your hands up. That's the one place where you draw the line. Chan's hands are constantly on your face and it is starting to get a bit much, so you have to remind him to leave your face alone.

"Oh, she's going to be fine in this group," Felix hums.

"Y/n, can I ask you something?" Minho asks you from the oven. He sets the temperature and turns around to face you.

Minho excused himself to start cooking dinner in the middle of a game. Still feeling awkward around everyone and feeling overwhelmed by all of their energy, you offered to help him cook. Chan, knowing that all eight of them could be much, understood that you probably needed a break and how cooking relaxes you.

"Sure," You say softly. You're still intimidated by being alone in the same room as him. On one hand, he's one of your boyfriend's best friends. On the other, he's fucking Lee Minho from Stray Kids.

"You and your roommates, have you guys been to one of our concerts or any of our events before?" He asks leaning against the counter and crossing his arms.

"No, that was our first concert. We were never able to get tickets before and anytime you guys had an event we would be working. And like you guys, we're pretty codependent so we wouldn't just go without the two. Why?" You ask as you cut up the vegetables for dinner.

"Your roommate looks really familiar and it's kind of bothering me." He sighs.

“Which one?”

"The raven-haired one," He answers quickly.

"Hana? She grew up in the city so maybe you say he in passing? I think she lived near the old JYPE building. So maybe you saw her in passing?" You're kind of sad that it was Hana and not Sun Hee that stood out to him. Not that you have anything against Hana, you just knew that Sun Hee would have been over the moon to know that she stood out to one of her biases. Not that you could tell her anyway if she did. File that under one of the many secrets you're keeping from your best friends.

"Hm, maybe," He hums before going to the fridge to get something,

"Anyway, let's get to cooking, Changbin is going to start screaming about how hungry he is any minute."

You watch quietly as the boys devour the cake. You mostly watch Hyunjin, who is eating the cake like it's nothing. Chan, Seungmin, and Minho looked at Hyunjin and then you the second they realized what type of cake it was. You just shook your head no, you wanted to tell Hyunjin after he ate a bit more of the cake.

"Y/n," Felix turns to you with a smirk as Hyunjin cuts himself a small second slice of cake, "This cake is really good. What kind is it?"

"Carrot cake," You say simply, everyone turning their attention to Hyunjin, who is now frozen in place processing what you just said.

"What?" He asks, mouth still full from his first slice.

"Hm, this is the best carrot cake I've had Y/n," Seungmin joins in on teasing Hyunjin.

"There is carrot in this cake? Seriously?" Hyunjin's mouth is still full like he refuses to swallow what he is eating.

"No, a carrot made this cake," You reply, earning a snort from both Changbin and Jisung.

"I don't like carrots," Hyunjin mumbles, finally swallowing the food in his mouth, "But I love this cake. Can you make something like this with like eggplant or onion?"

"No, because that would be gross and I'm pretty sure the baking gods would strike me down for crimes against humanity."

"She's funny," IN, laughs.

"See, Jinnie, this is why you shouldn't judge food just because they're made with the things you don't like." Chan chimes in.

You watch as Felix gets up from his seat and kneels in front of you. You scoop the last bit of cake in your mouth and turn your body towards him. he takes your hands in his and looks you deep in the eyes.

"Y/n, leave Chan hyung and marry me. Your baked goods and wicked ways would be wasted on him. Be with a real--"

Smack

You watch as Felix drops to the floor clutching his head.

"Ow, he hit me. He really hit me. Y/n, did you see that? Your boyfriend is a monster!" Felix cries from the floor. You look up at Chan who resumed eating his cake like it's nothing.

"He's fine," He sighs. You look at the rest of the boys who look just as shocked as you do.

"Looks like Lix finally found Chan hyung's breaking point," Jisung says happily.

All the gentle little ways Nandor has been showing his love [spoilers s1-s5]

I talked about this before, but the glitter painting. Can you imagine this giant ancient warrior who used to slaughter people for fun now slaughters people for food on daily basis, sitting down with a painting of him and a picture of Guillermo in front of him trying to recreate… a glitter painting?? For his friend??

Him trying for citizenship test. He said in the interview with the camera that he “obviously just gonna hypnotise the man to get his citizenship”. Yet he sat down, what was probably for hours, studying with Guillermo. And for why if he knew he’s going to just hypnotise him? Perhaps because he’s majorly detached from humans and his idea of managing to spend time with one human he feels certain… connection to, is to create a false pretence to spend time together? Just to hear him talk a little longer?

Speaking of talking, on more than one occasion has Nandor asked for Guillermo to just… talk. Especially when he’s going to slumber. Not knowing Guillermo has ulterior motive, he was more than happy to hear about some movie he saw. And he’s so passionately listening to it as well. Or just whatever he’s thinking in general. In very few cases has he stopped him, it’s usually others that do. Not Nandor.

Not turning him into vampire. This might be debatable, but the reason as we saw in the finale was obviously because he didn’t think he can… be one. He was waiting for him to get tougher. But he never did, simply because that’s not who he is. And him saying that vampirism is a curse and he could not burden him with it? Nandor has been unhappy being a vampire for a WHILE and the idea of subjecting someone he cares about to it… must have brought him a heart ache. Something Guillermo never got. Nandor wanted to be a father and he was so sad his children were afraid of him after he turned.

Guillermo has yelled, cussed at Nandor many times and once even slapped him (hard if I may add). Nandor never got mad or upset, if anything he usually agrees with him. The most he has reacted to it was “your tone was disrespectful but you’re right”. Not to mention Guillermo tried to kill him three times now, and if anything it seemed like… Nandor gained some respect for him. And that makes sense, he’s a soldier, he used to measure respect by the blade and body count, but it also seemed like he gained more than just respect for him.

Nandor likes it when Guillermo stays until he’s fallen into slumber. He asked him to stay because… Guillermo is probably the only person he feels safe with. He even asks “what is this feeling I’m feeling” because he’s too detached from it and he trusts his judgment.

Whoever annoys Nandor even a little he either hypnotises them or just simply tries to kill them (remember Topher? He liked him quite a bit but he attacked Guillermo and then annoyed him and he tried three times to kill him. The only time Nandor wanted to kill Guillermo was when he disobeyed him by turning himself into vampire behind his back.

In the “reunited” episode, Guillermo was swearing and yelling at everyone and then he fell through the floors, Nandor didn’t even stop to think, he just yelled out “Guillermo I’m coming!” And jumped in immediately. Man didn’t even doubt it for a second. Then this ancient warrior sat down to dry him off and ask “how are we feeling”. YOU GOTTA REALISE HIS DAILY LIFE IS KILLING PEOPLE AND HE SITS HERE IN FRONT IF THIS MORTAL AND TAKES TIME TO DRY HIM OFF.

In the “mall” episode Guillermo said he’s going to get footlocker, Nandor didn’t know what that was, he’s 700 years old what the hell does he know about foot locker? So he gets a huge case for Guillermo. The foot locker. The bitch really sat down and thought about what the hell that is and he got the closest thing he could think of.

I made a whole separate post about last episode as a whole, because it was Nandor’s love letter.

This ancient warrior, who kills people every day, killed thousands of people, has a soft spot for one mortal who brushes his hair so gently before he goes to slumber. They’re in love. You can’t deny it.

Am I reading into details? Yes. It’s a show, that’s what I do.

Rewriting s2 in my head tbh so its more in character to s1 with the og cast and humor wise. I think its just me being petty but idc anymore. KAHLOPATRA DESERVED MORE OF A PLOTLINE I NEED DRAMA I NEED ANGST (I don't mind the og plotline I just want more of them)

Also context basically cleo was cancelled(and her cat died and her stuff was burned while she was gone. And shes no longer cheerleading captain not trying to torture her just going off whay the show would do in s1 humor) in the beginning of it so now alot of people don't like her ill prob rewrite her thing in that one episode to her getting twitch and some people loving her again like the school starts yo love her then hate her again and Cleo really wants to be the best and the queen bee so she learns that Frida likes girls and they have this thing. Cleo tries to get with her and Fridas like hey I don't think you're all bad you just need educating or whatever so you don't keep saying bad stuff and bla bla Cleos using her for popularity cause Fridas the most popular girl in school at first she thinks Fridas weird but she really grows to love her even does that thing that she did in that one scene that's like 'gasp! Oh that's weird I felt bad for you...even though everything's going great for me' so she's surprised cause she's like woah romance isn't dead. And she tells frida and fridas like woah you're using me and you thought I was weird at first? That's not okay I can't believe you and she skateboards away sadly and cleo runs after her idk what else but they'll end up together!!! Eventually!!! I just want Cleo to go through real development let me cook

And Topher and Abe because Abe is back to the main character and I feel like they would've had a funny plotline but I think the writers didn't want to make Abe a plotline cause Joan was the mc of s2. Its kind of weird making them friends tho I think they'll still be frenrmnies or whatever by the end of the season I don't think their friendship is healthy tho and Abes clinging into the idea of getting some type of friend to be Gandhi because he misses Gandhi alot (notice topher and abes friendship necklace is silver and Gandhis and Abes is gold) tophers pulled out of his shell but he manages to have a weird crush on the one guy that will talk to him. Shocker. He's still in denial in the rewrite I probably won't go too much into it just make it implied that hes 'faking' a crush on Joan(or not idk Im just making it where he has a weird onesided thing with Abe think Joan season one but more 'I want to wear your skin straight male ally way and ruin our friendship to make us into a weird rivalry' if he likes Joan too even funnier) and calls her his compulsory heterosexual female crush.

CLONE HIGH (2023) EP. 8 SPOILERS

Okay, I know I’m opening up myself to a bunch of arguing but like... We need to have a talk. I should preface this by saying I’m not a die hard fan of Clone High. I only caved into watching the original series a few days before the reboot dropped despite hearing about it for years. I think they’re both good but I have my problems with both.

But I wanna talk about Topher Bus, a Christopher Columbus clone in a Gen Z world. He’s kind of taken over the role of Ghandi as Abe’s best friend in the revival, since the creators don’t want to bring him back unless they know they’re gonna be able to make more seasons. He hasn’t had a lot of screen time or development because the abundance of characters in this version. However, him becoming somewhat close with Abe has resulted in some fans shipping them.

So imagine their surprise when Topher tries to blackmail (or white leverage) Abe at the end of the final episode because he is attracted to Joan as well. I’ve seen so many people actually get angry about this. Many found themselves disappointed that Topher wasn’t straight or that he’d do something so terrible to Abe.

To which I say... Why would you expect anything else from this guy?

Topher’s whole thing was that he was an asshole who tried way too hard to convince people he’s progressive or an ally or “woke”, a term he unironically uses. He goes on and on about how he’s looking out for poc and women because he’s just trying to survive in a world that has flat out rejected his clone father.

“But he has a ‘Everyone is Welcome Here’ rainbow flag in his room!” Yeah, he does. He also has a co-exist poster, too. Good for him. Except there’s also a poster that says “Not a paid activist”. It’s a front! That’s the point!

“But he keeps trying to drill it into everyone’s heads that he’s straight, like a closeted person!” Yes, he does. But it’s not just closeted people who do that. I went to a Catholic school and I also live in the real world. I’ve seen dudes be afraid to drink tea or hug because it might make them look “gay” or “feminine” or whatever bullshit.

“The way he said he liked Joan and white women in general was so exaggerated that he must be forcing himself to say it!” This is Clone High! Everything in this show is so exaggerated. From the very beginning, it’s been a parody of teen satires. It was created by the duo that would go on to make Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21 Jump Street and The LEGO Movie. This is their style.

“The episode would have been better if he blackmailed Abe into not confessing to Joan because he had a crush on Abe.” So you’re saying you would have liked the episode more if Topher had gone “Abe, the reason I almost got you molested by a teacher was because I’m in love with you”? I need you to realize how fucked that is.

Topher is a weasly little shit who tries to convince everyone how progressive he is when he’s actually a total asshole. That was the point. Y’all thinking he was in love with Abe or that he had Abe’s best intentions at heart just means that it worked. You took the bait. I’m not saying shipping Tophabe would be immoral (okay maybe after the whole statutory rape thing but that’s just for right now). There’s a solid chance that their friendship could be salvaged after this. I certainly never thought I’d ship Cleo with anyone but know she and Frida are my OTP. But you gotta stop pretending that this character is someone he isn’t.

I might delete this because I’m just trying to get my feelings out. I’m not calling anyone stupid or whiny just because they got upset by the new episodes. (Shoutout to my boy, @warcrimetime. Sorry they took JoanFK from you so soon). This is just another case of me getting annoyed by people calling queerbait just because a ship didn’t become canon and me getting everything out of my system. (But also, if Joan does see Topher’s blackmail and her reaction is anger at Abe and not “HOLY SHIT YOU WERE MOLESTED?!” then that would actually be legit bad writing).

TL;DR:

Although, maybe I’m just not upset because I got Kahlopatra and you guys lost your OTP and I just don’t understand, I dunno.

How would the clones themselves think about the ghosts?

Like I precised, for now in this canon only Topher knows/sees the ghosts. The others sees them as visions and dreams and don't really beleive they are real.

But if they have to know:

Joan: She feels very awkward about Jeanne, and almost intimidated even if she feels much more understood and guided when she's here

Abe: He's always been a huge fan of his clone dad and both of them love each other very much, he would be pretty clingy and have that "dad look how fast I can run" energy. He also feels intimidated because he now feels even more pressure to be as good as Abraham.

JFK: He's chill with his clone dad, they form a great pair and he loves him very much. He also has this "dad look how fast I can run" but unlike Abe, he doesn't feel any pressure to be like John.

Cleo: Cleo finally feels like she's being seen as the real queen she is. She worship Cleopatre like a Goddess and wants to show everything with her, she's very clingy too. Since Cleo never had a good mother figure, she's lashing on Cleopatre to be a replacement mother.

Frida: Frida is very chill but extremely enthusiastic about her clone mother, especially about showing her art and her friends. She learned so much from og Frida, she just wants to learn even more

Harriet: Like you know, Harriet is trying so hard to be extra so she wouldn't be in a serious and sad life like her clone mother. So she feels very awkward about og Harriet at first, but after talking with her and learning from her she's avtually even more inspired to do her thing. She wants og Harriet to be proud of her, and she tries extra hard for it via her art.

Confucius: Confucius is super excited about his clone dad, he feels like with Kong Zi's help he can bring positivity to even more people. He would come to Kong Zi at any issue and try to reconnect with his chinese culture. He just wants his dad to be proud.

Topher: He absolutely despite Cristoforo, but likes him in a weird way. Cristo is everything he tried not to be, and he finds him extremely annoying and obnoxious which drives Topher crazy. He also hates that now everyone will know who he's cloned after. But he never had a father figure in his life, and even if that's the last man he wanted to be his father figure he cannot help but feel giddy when Cristo agrees with him or even shows any positivity towards him.

Clone High S2 thoughts

Discussion/spoilers (if you can spoil a situational comedy lol) under the cut

I first watched the original Clone High when I was in high school, so it’s a little wild to be watching and getting really invested in season 2 15 years later. It’s something I probably never even considered at the time.

I rewatched the first season recently as well, so I would have some context for going into the second season after so long. And the first season is still reliably so funny, so sharp and biting in its commentary. I feel like there is not a single joke that doesn’t still land today. The characters are so hyperbolic and chaotic that every scene is fresh and you never know what to expect from the plot. The geometry of the character design and the backdrops are simple but so effective and stylish, too. Season 1 really is just a good comedy you can watch again and again, and every character contributes to the laughs and momentum of the episodes. Gandhi is especially missed, and I think you can really feel his absence in Season 2 ),:

Okay, so Season 2. I’m gonna be upfront, I don’t think it is written very well. It feels very much like a fan facsimile of the original biting humor. I think I only laughed at a handful of jokes over the course of the entire season, which was definitely disappointing. It falls into the trap that so many reboot adult cartoons fall into in that it devotes so much of its time to rehashing cancel culture and social media as buzzwords, but not actually saying anything interesting or meaningful about them. The show no longer pulls from teen media tropes and contemporary television drams to inform its over-the-top “melancholy adolescent” humor. It feels like the extent of what they brought to the table was “Tiktok exists, isn’t that funny” and “you can’t be problematic!!!!” humor, but without really exploring the ludicrousness and the discourse cycle of the modern internet. It very much feels like the writers didn’t know the topics firsthand, but still wanted to comment on them in a shallow and cursory way.

Let’s look at the new characters they added. Frida has an incredible design and conceptually I adore her. A mellow artist that skateboards and is hugely gay? All right, I love that. I wish there was a little more to her, though. I wanted to see more of the hyperbolic personality traits that each original character had in season 1. Make her outlandish, make her weirder with regards to her art, I don’t know, you could have gone in so many directions. I just wanted to see MORE.

And this is an issue I have with all of the new characters and even to some extent the returning characters. I feel like Joan especially lost her weirdness and her edge in the reboot, with only the end scene of her freaking out and sabotaging her friends being something fun and true to her vindictive streak that she had in the original season. Confucius feels like he adds nothing to the plot other than to inform JFK and the audience that the internet exists. He should have been a bombastically internet-addicted clout goblin, constantly cutting content, and as he is now, he’s just falling extremely flat. I wanted the writers to crank the dial to 11 with Harriet and really explore her fear of being incredibly basic, like maybe she has Live Laugh Love text art in her room or her favorite tv show is the Office, idk, but as is she just seems like a Normal, Nice Person. Which is Fine, but it doesn’t make for great comedy.

Topher is the only character I feel really channels the chaotic core of the original Clone High season, and he’s not even there for many scenes. I love the idea of a manipulative little mentally ill Redditor whelp. It’s relatable, it works well in commenting on modern internet culture, it’s freaky, I like it. I’m surprised they didn’t have Confucius and Topher interacting more because they both are chronically online and I feel like there is so much potential there.

I guess my takeaway opinion is that I’d like to see them amp up the personality of each of the characters by like 200%. And it’s a little late for this now, but I wish they’d have done more of a slow burn on Cleo and Frida’s relationship. It would’ve been cool to see Cleo contending with the fact that she wasn’t the most popular girl in school anymore and what kind of schism that would have created between her and Frida initially. More of an enemies to lovers dynamic would have been fun.

So those are my thoughts. I could have gone on longer, but... I think this is already getting too long haha. I think I feel so opinionated on it because I can really see the latent stellar potential in the characters, and with a few exceptions, they all feel so underutilized in this season.

Looking forward to season 3+ to see what they do next, though!

CH! Frida Kahlo Headcanon(s)

As much as I love Frida, I feel like she deserves to have some personality, character, and other stuff about her other than being “the laidback voice of reason”. So here we are:

Frida has confrontational issues. Because of how chilled and laidback she is, she would rather leave or wait things out rather than be direct and confront the problem(s)/conflict(s). She doesn’t take fighting nor arguing very well—thus becoming more passive and dismissive.

They struggle with chronic pain in their legs, mainly in their right leg. Due to their clone mother getting polio at a young age and suffering chronic pain in their leg as a result, Frida ends up inheriting that chronic pain (maybe also suffering from polio at the same age as well?) and thus struggles with it. Winters and cold weather is the worst.

On those occasions where Frida’s leg is in extreme amount of pain, he uses a cane.

Has Alexithymia. Pups cool and laidback attitude is partially due to pups difficulty identifying pups emotions and issues related to interoception. Sometimes either forgets of doesn’t realize pup’s hungry, tired, dehydrated, stressed, etc—hence pup carefreeness. This is a more personal HC as I have this as well, and so I feel she has it too.

While we’re at it, Frida also has ADHD and even experiences autistic traits. They tends to hyper focus HARD on painting murals and getting certain art pieces done. Simultaneously, they also had alot of unfinished works that are lying around their room. Even murals. They also tends to listen more than speak, preferring to be able to consider what they has to say. Uses advice they had learned from others and giving it on. Yet, there are times where they acts out impulsive whenever nervous or excited (i.e. when they crushed on Cleo).

Has sleeping issues related to her ADHD and is the type to sleep at 4 am. Tends to either pace around, paint, or rant to herself or Harriet early in the morning.

Has been masking for all his life and hasn’t realized this until he and Topher became friends. Topher pointed out that his disconnect to his identity and personality is most likely his masking.

OH and I decided—Frida has ✨identity issues✨ and internally struggles to see if pup really is the cool and go-with-the-flow type of person.

Is nonbinary, they/she & occasionally uses he/pup.

Is bisexual—has a preference for woman but occasionally had dated and crushes on men.

Has dated Diego Rivera’s clone son. Didn’t go so well…

Becomes friends with Topher & besties too with Gandhi (ADHD solidarity)

Wears a binder <33

Had a crush on Abe but never said anything about it—only reason they remained cool is because it wasn’t as big of a crush compared to Cleo.

hiii im fixating on this oc rn and heres my proper introduction post for him! still very much in development but im care him

danny (he/him) is an intern who started working on total drama during the all-stars season. as much as he hated it, he stuck it out and intended to quit right after it, but his contract wouldnt allow him to. so now hes actively trying to get fired but oops!!! hes too accidentally good at his job. like hes actively trying to hurt chris but unintentionally does a good and chris and chef are just like "what a nice kid, i like him :) [always gets his name wrong]"

so danny, already wanting to explode, ends up getting "promoted" (extra work) during pahkitew to being a cameraman

despite his frustrations, he finds that he kinda enjoys being a cameraman. and it gets him far away from chris, chef, and the other interns for a lot of the time. but now danny is forced to meet topher, who keeps hogging the camera. while danny cannot stand him and topher doesnt like being ignored, their arguing and back and forths become a kinda fun dynamic for them. neither of them takes it too personally and theyre more or less on the same level in terms of insulting one another lmao. they probably also talk abt how everyone else sucks and they do it in a petty gay way

danny is designed to be unlikable (but in a funny way imo). hes rude, doesnt care for others, and he has a hot temper. a more productive twist to that is that he can channel his rage into comical superhuman strength (like knocking down a tree in one kick). in his home life, hes probably that friend no one really likes but who knows why they let him stick around. NOT trying to give him a sad backstory though he just sucksssss

so uh, there's some predictions ?? and things i would like to see in the eps !!!

kahlopatra angst !?!?

ok so, in the trailer they seem very happy and all, but in the first teaser we saw on insta they were MAD !!! based off other things i made up a plot of why are they mad:

so, maybe there's a sports competition (that one with bikes that Frida loves but I forgot the name...💔) and obviously Frida wants to participate with Cleo!! and Cleo accepted but uh she doesn't really care, so Frida feels bad for that, also Cleo is being mean in front of Frida's dad so that makes the situation worse, and they FIGHT !!! (and I feel like maybe another person makes the situation worse just because they can...) but at the end, Cleo loves Frida, so she helps her and they WIN YAYY!!!

(I just noticed that in the new teaser, they have an award with a fish...)

JOAN AND CONFUCIUS!?!!

I think the name ep "money can buy me love: stupid is as cupid does" OBVIOUSLY talks about Confucius and Joan...so I think the EP would be something like this: Confucius can't get a date for valentine's day, so maybe he pays joan to fake to be her gf, obviously they do all sort of couple things just so Confucius can post pictures (maybe to make Harriet jealous??), eventually they genuinely fall in love

honestly, Confucius really cared about Harriet, and they were a cute couple, so i won't be mad if Joan and him are end game, I'm pretty sure he would be a good boyfriend

like, yeah, the clones have made a few comments about how they feel about their clone parents, but it has never been a major plot

cleo, abe and topher would be perfect as protagonists, they're the ones that have talked more about their relationship with being clones (and topher literally changed his full name), but Joan, harriet and Confucius made comments too, INTERESTING COMMENTS !! soy they would be good protagonist too

(also Frida, but she didn't bring it up herself so idk if it counts)

THE FOSTER PARENTS!!!

I HOPE WE SEE MORE OF THE FOSTER PARENTS THIS SEASON !!! specially about the foster parents of the old clones

do the old clones keep living with their og foster parents?? we know Joan lives with Candide now because toots died, but what about Cleo?? they used to live together, did her mother die too?? and the other old clones, do they have the same foster parents?? and if not, how they feel about it?? are they sad, angry or happy?? do they care or not?? we didn't really see how the clones feel about the time skip, so i hope at least we see how they live in their homes now

TOPHER AND ABE.....(specially Topher)

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WITH THEM AFTER THE BLACKMAILING THING !!!! are they friends again?? they talked about it?? does Abe really care?? DO THEY EVEN REMEMBER???

we see that topher has a new group of friends, but in s2 Abe was his only friend, is he trying to fill the void Abe left ?? or he doesn't care about abe anymore?? because we always saw topher with abe, and when he was in the background he never interacted with the other clones (not even with Ivan the terrible)

maybe Abe tells him to never talk to him again, and Topher realizes he's a bad person and tries to improve (I'm delusional)

anyways, i just want to see what happens with these two, i specially want to see what happens with Topher

this has been said a dozen times but it baffles me how they pushed cleo aside in s2. they had so many chances to give her something to do but they included her in a few episodes just because she was in the og main cast. they could've developed her relationship with frida in the sleepover episode yet they didnt for some reason.

hopefully they give her some time to shine in s3 because theres so much potential!! i always loved how she was characterized in s1 and the show taking those unique traits of hers away pisses me off.

i literally made an entire rant abt this but tumblr sucks so let me say it more simply this time. the writers are panicking to write the series before it gets cancelled again, closing off the world to the main cast plus a few background characters who appear more than once for minor roles, it makes the world feel small and closed off and like abe and joan are on the top of a building, being the focal point, jfk, harriet and topher being on the second highest level, being developed somewhat, then cleo, frida and confucius barely being grown at all in the recent episodes. they need to start focusing on their characters more than telling the story like a grandpa recalling a conversation he had with some strangers and barely describing them. not to say the important events should have been pushed back but.. they should have. season one should have been meeting our new cast and growing the remainder of the original, adapting them into the new generation, meaning, cleo and everyone else being more focused on, cleo actually talking with frida more, topher actually interacting with joan more than twice, abe and joan being characters outside of each other, jfk’s issues making real friends being explored more, random background characters being treated as other people in their world. cleos character development was slacked on because theyre so worried about being canceled again and not being able to tell the story they want to tell that theyre not worried about getting to know the characters, especially with the more deep story theyre trying to tell now. eventually the interest people have in the show will die down if they don’t decide character development is more important

(also a lot of the ships i include may be controversial, but theyre not problematic and gross so u dont have to worry about that :3).

jfk: hes pan. “if theres a hole, theres a goal!” -jfk, probably /hj. he genuinely felt something for joan when they dated, but he knew that she wasnt gonna stay for long. also hes a mullet-haver. sry i dont make the rules!! hes dating abe (im right about this. i am and im not arguing.)

joan: genuinely the only character in the entire show that i think is 100% only into men. i know that might get me into some drama but idc! shes only shown attraction to men!!! but also to counterpoint that, i think he’s genderfluid and doesn’t care about pronouns. she felt something for jfk, but that feeling was Horny. she really only wanted to date jfk for the sex. which, if you look at season 2, is pretty much canon. he has a fat crush on abe, still, but when jfk gets with him, she decides that she’s done with crushes and dating for a while.

abe: hes bisexual. he is and im right! his crush on joan was one of those things where you convince yourself to like someone but in reality you only think of them as a friend. he ACTUALLY has a crush on jfk but he doesnt realize that until joanfk break up (rivals to lovers moment?) after breaking up with cleo after prom, they don’t talk for a bit, but once cleo realizes she’s a lesbian she decides to befriend abe again, and the two of them plus frida form a cute little friend group and they gossip. also abe lets them give him makeovers cuz why not!

cleo: shes a lesbian. she never showed genuine attraction to a man until john dark, and even then, it was because he was actually joan in disguise. she only wanted to date these guys for power and popularity. so when frida enters the picture, cleo isnt sure how to feel. shes confused and weirded out and she doesnt know how to express those feelings. so she flirts. it starts off as a joke, like a “hey shawty bae we’re just besties but i’d kiss you” to an actual genuine crush. also she gets a better mom when shes unfrozen. because she deserves it.

gandhi: hes asexual and bi (fem pref). hes dating marie curie :) theyre cute :)!!! im not counting season 2 as canon for this, so he got unfrozen along with everyone else. he has this whole enemies thing with topher, but he doesnt consider topher his enemy. topher considers gandhi a rival but not the other way around. gandhi thinks topher should chill out a bit, but considers him as a friend.

i might expand on this later actually cuz right now im like burnt out and my brain is fried from staying up till 5am (oops.) anyways i have a BUNCH more if you want them :)

Toph and Otto, both around 42 years old now. They live in Italy, Toph has a government job, makin' laws and stuff. Otto is a fashion designer and often has his daughter, Bianca, model his stuff. They're both well-known and well-off.

Salvatore (24) is their firstborn. He's very, very flat. No emotion, no empathy, nothing. He used to also work in more local government, but after a suicide attempt he's been taking time off. No hobbies or friends and doesn't really want any or care. Fully aroace.

Bianca (21) is very... intimidating. She's a lot. Bold personality, demanding, intense. She works as a model and is debating about breaking further into the industry, but it's still very harsh in the year 2065... Straight.

Lorenzo (21) is much less intimidating than his twin sister. He's relatively good with his hands, likes working on things and fixing stuff if he can find it. Soft-spoken and gentle but... somewhat unsettling. Works as an assistant nurse, also straight.

Alfonso (19) is also brash and tough. He's incredibly resistant to authority, hates doing what he's told, loves playing LOUD metal music and working on his own with his bandmates. Very disrespectful, drinks and smokes, too. Bisexual.

Marcello (17) is a ball of anxiety on legs. He tries to catch a lot of the heat off his siblings if there's tension, and is often blamed for things he didn't do. Is very popular in school and well-liked for his easygoing personality and friendly demeanor. Straight.

Ciena (16) is a freak. Completely into anime and cartoons, desperately wants to be a news reporter in her future. Never seen without her cameras. Big, loud and bright personality perfect for TV. Likes hyping people up. Biromantic Asexual.

Dominic (15), also resistant to authority, but much less aggressive about it than his older brother. Resents Topher. Very popular in school as well, with his own 'in-crowd'. Helps run several clubs as well. Complete daddy's boy and wants to make Otto proud. Likes girls, but struggles to call himself straight (he's transmasc).

Dante (12), even more of a freak than Ciena. Special interest in religion and very very annoying about it. Has an unfortunate tendency to police people to follow his own moral guidelines and pray for them if they don't. Mommy's boy and choir kid. Probably straight...?

Bella (12) is trying to hold it together. Desperately wants to be the 'good kid' her parents don't worry about but she's an anxious mess. Gifted, sure, but hot damn would she rather be writing fanfiction than doing her extra homework. Closer to her twin brother than anyone else, even if she's not religious herself. Aroace.

Viviana (7) is the youngest and the baby of the family. Often watches instead of does, and keeps notes on people. Often found around Ciena due to their shared love of observing people. Timid, and not often verbal herself either. Unknown sexuality.
