A Hero's Reward 🏅❤️🕸️🦔

Day 1 -"Spider-verse" Early with this one for Sonamy week2023, drew the iconic Peter Parker and MJ kiss scene but with Sonic and Amy! 🦔💋🕸️ I can never draw them kissing right.. And when it's an upside down kiss *sigh* I tried... MJ literally eats his face in that scene soooo 😂

I will go back to this and have a colour version soon🎨 This one was a fun one, honestly can't believe I've been drawing anything with the lack of time I have...been drawing here and there when I can, I have my me time and get creating during my daughters naptimes and at night, she's 1 now so I have much more time to myself at night.

Got some more sonic and amy art for the sonamy week coming up, it's been really fun drawing them again 💖 🤟

KAMIJO for a fanproject of a friend (I’m still to check the deadline lol) I loved the smooth lines here and I kinda forgot that my lineart was like that (????) Sometimes anxiety strikes a bit more and I feel lost studying and I need to reconect with familiar feelings like drawing KAMIJO, so the fanproject is on time. 🌹 I have lots of notes to guide myself in those times and yet is difficult to be trying to remember everything. Pen nibs used where maru pen from #tachikawa for details (face) and #brauserose for most things. Story in caption. Week 9 - Lost Balance

I am delighted to affirm that last week I met researchers from the brilliant gnomish design and engineering company ‘Tinker Toll’. Being a gnome myself, how could I resist an invitation to their main research and development facility? And I feel like I am in tinkering heaven! Their current R&D focus is the creation of dragons that are animated by an intricate union of biologics, mechanics and magic. Semi sentient and way meeker than their mighty paragons, Tinker Toll predicts for them to bring our lives and economy to a whole new level. Yet, as always, working at the ultimate frontier of science and magic, things are bound to go wrong at the first attempts. But because of the gnomes’ deep love for their creations and their firm belief that everything has a function - even as a lesson on how not to do something - they keep and treasure every prototype from their projects. I especially liked one called Drang. This prototype burned alcohol to power the mechanical parts of the construction. Yet, the engineers never managed to seal the fuel lines tightly. So thanks to the constant internal leakage of alcohol, it was drunk permanently, and it lost its balance completely. After several failed attempts to seal the lines, they retired the prototype to a cushioned compound erected to keep it safe.

For a while, I have had quite the urge to draw Nights for nostalgia. Almost stuck with a sketch but was like "No. Color." And this is what I got. I did not play this game, but I watched my brother play it and looking at this character now they look so cool. 💖💖🦔 I started this back in 2014😱 It was just meant to be a fun lil comic which I wanted to try, what if Sonic proposed to Amy? Then I got so engaged with the characters dynamics/interactions and the dilemma with Amy's engagement ring has made it into a full blown story! I can't wait to share! I'm so close to what it's all been leading upto it's all gonna be worth it! 👀💍 I was on and off through the years with this comic ,you can even see the artstyle changes on some pages, I was dealing with alot of real life issues, moving house, 🏡 getting married! 👰Then having a child! 👶🏼💖

My husband has alot of input in this comic, we have so much fun coming up with scenarios and what's gonna happen next on each panel together, I literally met my soul mate when I was 13 at school, he loves and draws Sonic as well like me! we've been through alot! the awkward teenage years together right through to being fully grown adults,I'm 28 now so we've been together for a lonnnngggg time! 🥹💖💝 Feeling settled now I've made it my goal to finish this comic as it means alot to me. The whole story is written out... its just to draw it! A patient process but it's worth it, a journey! Hope you enjoy! Thank you 😁🤟

Story in caption. Week 5 - Pixie Parasol (#funguary week 1)

After my previous notes from the central Dungeon Corp. R&D center, it was time to move on. Can you imagine my amazement when I heard that there is another of their R&D facilities hidden in the secluded valley of fungi and myconids? I had to go there again! So I traveled for most of this week. It is so amazing to be back! Has it really been an entire turn of the time wheel since I was here? This valley is full of myconid wonders waiting to be explored! Today I learned about a myconid called ‘pixie parasol’. Like with most fungi, the real mycorrhizal individual lives hidden from the eye. But its fruit bodies are strikingly beautiful, resembling a blue eye. Their smell is intoxicating to the local pixies. Enthralled by its smell, the pixies dance with them all over the place, performing the wildest aerial acrobatics. Amazingly, the fruit body not only looks like an eye, but seems to function similarly, somehow sending information back to the mycorrhizal fungus it grew from. Once the pixies pass over an auspicious habitat, it discharges spores, thus opening new areas for fungal colonization. I believe DC’s R&D are looking to exploit this organism and its innocuous looking fruits as long-distance reconnaissance organisms for their dungeon keeping clients.
