His body was was found today, Saturday, 13/04/24.

Like I spent several days trying to work out what to do with this character, and I’ve been trying to work out a design but it was going really slowly, and honestly I’ll probably just end up forgetting about it, like I did that dragon sand worm OC thing from a couple months ago

It’s kind of like when you keep trying to write something on the same piece of paper, but you keep messing up so you keep erasing and then the paper becomes just ruined and unusable, if that makes sense

Yeah Blueberry Ice Cream was also a struggle and I eventually got him out, but at this point I just don’t think I’ll finish him, sorry. Hell I never even came up with a definitive name for the honey guy

Maybe my brain’s just decided that trying to make oc love interests for Dark Choco is a cursed thing that I will never accomplish. But maybe one day

Unfortunate news...

For the past few months, I've sensed that I'm no longer hyperfixated with Balan Wonderworld. I'm seeing less fan content on my feed and there aren't any more NSFW Balan fics popping up on Wattpad and AO3, resulting in my lack of inspiration and motivation to gather ideas for the next chapters. Not to mention that I went through a couple of unpleasant experiences in the fandom.

I feel like no matter how hard I worked on my fanfiction and how many websites I published it, it's not going to get a lot of attention because of the reputation the game has received. Depression came crawling back, along with other mental health issues, which furthered my demotivation.

As much as I really hate saying this, it is with deep regret to have to tell you that I'm no longer going to continue writing my Balan fanfiction, Journeys with Balan. It's a difficult but necessary decision to make and I'm truly sorry that I let down the people who supported the story and who waited for a long time for the supposedly next chapters.

I don't know why I struggle so much but I am getting...somewhere. #Meta time: God damn I love how the chimera shows off the expertise and gap between Kabru and Laios. #The truth is: they are both *right* and they are both *wrong*. #This creature is a combination of monster and human and they only have the skillset to deal with one of those. #Kabru goes for all the human vitals - but she isn't human. #Laios tries to approach her as a monster and is struck down by the humanity he sees in her. #She is something new that defies what they *both* understand about the world. And that makes her such a perfect antagonist. #The damsel was the dragon all along! #...She is really so cute though. Terrifying! But adorable. I am so excited to see the boom of fanart for her.

Just learned that Crypton actually isn't making bank with their gsc figures, other merchandise, pjsk, and needs to have sponsors for concerts and to support their other projects. It's sad to know that they're not getting the money for their projects and expand on them.

It explains why we haven't gotten another project diva game along with getting fully original 3d animated mvs for Mega Mix or Future Tone for some of the songs that were added. Sega could easily give more funding for that to happen but that's not happening.

It also explains why Miku Expo has been all over the place. Crypton needed a sponsor to fund the tour but with Crunchyroll being the main sponsor, they didn't cough up the money to provide a quality experience like the previous years. So, it leaves the question if they're going to be able to do Miku Expo again next year if they decide not to stick with Crunchyroll or not.

I hope that Crypton will be able to get out of the money mess that they're in right now and be able to make the projects that they want without worrying about it.

As a leftist Jew who believes strongly in the cause of dignity and freedom for the Palestinian people, and that Israel has abused them, I am begging fellow leftists to understand that real life is not a comic book. A government being “the bad guy” in a situation does not automatically make anyone who opposes it “the good guy”.

Hamas denies the Holocaust. Hamas disseminates the Protocols of the Elders of Zion—the conspiracy theory it paints is what they mean by “Zionist”. Hamas forbids foreign aid educators from teaching human rights to Palestinians, and claims that even teaching that the Holocaust happened is a war crime. Hamas has written the aim of annihilating Israel (the country and its people) into its charter—the mass slaughter and violent expulsion of 7 million Jews from the land is written into its laws.

There is no crime any state could ever do that would justify any of that; there is no act of state repression that could ever make it acceptable to side with the organization spreading Nazi pamphlets and Holocaust denial.

Oppose Bibi Netanyahu. Oppose Israel’s far-right, authoritarian government. Oppose Likud’s policies. Oppose its violence against Palestinian civilians. That isn’t antisemitic. But Hamas is—verifiably, beyond a shadow of a doubt, to its core—antisemitic. Its portrayal of Israeli Jews as blood-thirsty, child-killing master manipulators that control international media and finance is antisemitic. Its insistence that Palestinian freedom necessitates the death & expulsion of Jews from the land is antisemitic. Its redefinition of “Zionism” as a pejorative to mean genocidal Jewish/Israeli Supremacy is antisemitic.

Supporting the Palestinian people in their plight is a noble and loving goal; please never stop that. But do not let Hamas co-opt that into excusing or denying their rampant antisemitism and war crimes.
