Confused. Vanessa Shelly/Afton x Fem!Reader
Vanessa Shelly/Afton x reader who is really bad with emotions. Reader basically had not the best life, and wasn't allowed to show emotions growing up, and so when reader starts catching feelings for Vanessa, you don't know what it is so they are really confused and awkward around Vanessa, also Mike kinda just doesn't exist in this lmao :D
Tumblr media
Even though the pizzeria might not have been my first choice, it's really not that bad. Or maybe I'm just trying to convince myself of that…oh well. I close my car door, careful not to do it too hard, the door would probably fall off. I really needed this job, I have maybe 100 dollars to my name. Sighing I use the key that Mr Raglan gave me, I try to unlock it one way, it doesn't unlock.
“Shit..” I mutter to myself, I turn the key a different way, flip it around, I try everything and it just isn't unlocking. I stand there for like 30 minutes fumbling with this stupid fucking key, and just my luck. A cop car pulls up, oh cool they can probably help me, wait oh shit, they are gonna think im trying to break in. I worriedly look at the cop car and wave, the windows are tinted and it's dark out so I can't see who's in there. Fuck fuck fuck fuck, I try to use the key again, glancing back at the female cop who just got out of her car. She looks nice… she can help, wait, all cops look nice, that's their tactic.
“Hey. What are you doing?” The officer says as I quickly turn around, I can feel my heart start beating faster, I'm usually fine around cops though, whatever it's just nerves. “Officer! Hi um I'm the security guard here, the key I was given isn’t working. I've been trying for like 30 minutes haha…” That was convincing and definitely not suspicious. Shit. She raises her eyebrow, looking me up and down, and glancing at the lock behind me. “You're really lucky that the owner said there was a new security guard, or I'd probably arrest you. Here let me try.” She says with a smile, I hand her the key without saying anything. Woah my stomach feels weird, am I sick or something?? It feels like my stomach has like… horses running around in it. Weird description but whatever…taking a step back I watch as she unlocks it on the first try.
That's awkward. “How did you do that?? I swear I... I tried for like 30 minutes…” She turns around and gives me back the key, looking me up and down again, god what happens to me? It feels like I'm going to throw up every time she does that. What is happening to me?? “It’s fine, keys can be difficult sometimes.” She smiles at me, fuck I feel like a fool all I can do is just stand there looking at her, I think im having a stroke. No wait, a heart attack, that more likely feels like my heart is eating itself. “Um, thank you Officer.” Why did I say that so weird, god she must think i'm drunk or something.
“Please, my names Vanessa, Vanessa Shelly.” She holds out her hand for me to shake, AND I STARE AT HER HAND FOR LIKE 3 SECONDS BEFORE AWKWARDLY SHAKING HER HAND OH MY GOD. I'm freaking out, is it hot? No, it's cold, why am I sweating?? “Right, uh, y/n, y/n y/ln. It's really nice to meet you.” It's really nice to meet you? Did I really have to put the really, whatever i can't go back in time. “You too, mind if I stick around for a bit?” YES, wait yes what the fuck is happening why do I feel this way? “Yeah no problem.” I say like a fool, I don't usually overthink things like this. Or do I? Have I just not noticed? Huh, whatever.
The night goes on, and my heart doesn't slow down, the odd feelings in my stomach continue as she talks to me, and asks me a couple questions. It feels like the night goes way too fast, and I find myself upset when it turns to 6am. Driving home all I can think about her, why? I think I just really want to be friends with her, probably, that's all it is. I get home and lay down on my bed staring at the ceiling, maybe this job won't be as bad as I thought it would be.
The next day Vanessa doesn’t show up, maybe she never will. I also find out how creepy the pizzeria is and even though my life is practically in danger, I just keep wishing that I’d get to see her again, but just as friends though. Just friends.
I pull into the parking lot of the pizzeria. Walking up in my goofy looking security vest, I sigh. Yesterday I was actually able to unlock the lock, after 10 minutes…but at least I got it. Ugh, time to try to unlock this for half of my shift. And just like I said, it's been 5 minutes and I still can’t get it. “Does it…go the other way or..” I mutter to myself, before I see headlights shining at me. SHES HERE. Oh god I feel like I shoulda put more effort into myself today, does my hair look okay. I zone out thinking about every possible thing that I could ever overthink, before finally getting snapped out of it by her. “Hey, need help with the lock again?” She says teasingly, grinning at me. Woah, my heart just went to the moon and back okay that's normal. “Uh yeah haha, still can’t seem to get it right.” She takes the key from me and just like before, unlocks it with ease, before handing the key back to me. “I'm gonna hang out again today, hope you don’t mind.” “Hah no, I don’t care, I enjoy the company.” Finally I said something without sounding like a 5 year old.
We both walk into the pizzeria, without saying anything, as we are walking her hand brushes against mine, there it is again, that fuzzy feeling that only happens with her. Maybe I should google my symptoms. “So how's your day been?” She asks me, with a smile. “Oh, pretty good, better now that you're here haha.” I pause, DID I JUST SAY THAT, holy shit oh god what? What was I thinking?? “That's funny, I was going to say the same thing.” She says with a wink, before continuing to walk down the hall. Everything in my head was screaming at me, I had to remember that walking is something that you do if you wanna follow someone. So I started walking again, maybe I should ask her? She's a cop, she might know what's wrong with me.
We go over to the showtime area. “Hey, have you seen them perform yet?” “They perform?” “Yeah watch.” Vanessa presses the showtime button, and the animatronics jump into a song. I watch them with intent, probably the first thing I've thought about that wasn't Vanessa in 3 days. We both walk over to a booth and sit down, just watching and listening to them do their thing. “So this is cool isn’t it?” She asks, looking at me, I look over at her. That feeling again, I swear I'm having a stroke. “Y/N?” Yup this is a stroke why can’t I answer her? “Y-yeah, right, um yeah this is super cool.” I say looking down at the table, smiling and looking back at her. “Are you okay?” Vanessa asks me, looking genuinely worried.
I gulp and look at her nervously. “Um, not really? I don't know.” “You don't know? What do you mean what's going on?’’ She stands up and squats down in front of me, looking up at me. She takes my hands and holds them. I swear my heart just stops at that point. “Hey, talk to me, what's going on?” “Do you um” I clear my throat. “Do you ever get this weird feeling? Lately my heart has been beating faster than normally, and I'm really nervous and anxious and my stomach feels like it's being twisted up.” She looks at me, with those doe eyes of hers, with genuine care and worry. “And the weirdest part of it all, is it only happens around…well…you.” And with that, the worry on her face disappears into a softer one. She laughs and looks back up at me with a smirk. “Y/N have you ever had a crush before?” “A crush? What's that have to do with this, I’ve never had one before but I’ve heard- oh” And it finally clicks, all those movies i’ve seen are like this, a crush, I have a crush on her. Oh shit. I just admitted to her that I have a crush on her. As she watches me come to realization, I feel my face heat up. “Don’t start stressing yourself out, y/n, I like you too.” She says grinning and looking at me sympathetically. I’m still processing all of it, so I don’t really say anything for 10 seconds. “That's good, I um I like you too…a lot.” “Yup, I realized that.” She teasingly smirks at me. “So are we dating now?” I ask genuinely as she laughs again, standing up. “Wow, you really haven’t ever done this before huh? It’s cute, and yeah, we are dating, cmon.” Vanessa holds her hand out for me to take, and finally, it feels right. No more confusion, it feels right, being with her. I’m finally happy. With her :)

mike bf request :>
abby and reader having a girls day talking about boys and it being super cute! and mike being annoyed about all this he doesnt want abby to grow up it makes him upset she’s starting to find interest in boys in her class 😞🙈
this request is so cute, i'm obsessed! bf mike >>>
"oh yeah?" you tease gently, looking up from your drawing. "what's his name?"
"luke!" abby admits, excited but somewhat embarrassed. "he's really nice! he shared his halloween candy with me last week!"
you had been dating mike for about two months, but you had been babysitting abby for many more. in the months you had known her, the two of you had grown really close; and on this particular day, when the both of you were hunched over the living room coffee table, drawing and watching her favorite cartoon, she admitted she had a crush on a boy from her school.
you thought it was really cute, and you felt ever-so-slightly proud that you were the first person she told. mike was sitting at the dining table and, unbeknownst to you, listening to the conversation. you didn't realize he was upset until you got up to get a glass of water and saw him with his eyebrows furrowed and arms crossed.
"you good, mike?" you asked after taking a sip.
"yeah." he huffed out. you love mike with all your heart, but he is quite possibly the least subtle person you know.
"c'mon, what's up?" you take a seat next to him at the table. he sighs heavily, before explaining:
"i just think she's too young for all this boyfriend-girlfriend stuff. after all we've been through? after all she's been through? i don't know, I just-I just don't think she should be worrying about that stuff." you smiled softly, finding his concern really sweet. one of the things that you found most attractive about mike was how well he treated his little sister, especially after everything that happened at the pizzeria.
"well, i can assure you she's not worried about anything. she just thinks he's cute, which is totally normal for a girl her age! i started having crushes around that age too, it's really no big deal. you don't need to worry so much, mike, she's smart enough to know how to deal with this stuff."
he contemplated for a second, absorbing your words before the tension in his forehead and eyebrows melted.
"yeah...yeah, I guess you're right. sorry, i just don't want her growing up so fast. sometimes i wish i could put a brick on her head to stop her from growing." you both let out an airy giggle.
"yeah, me too. but she'll always be your little sister, whether she likes it or not."
"yeah," he replied, watching abby draw in the distance. "yeah, she'll always be my little sister."

Together. / Mike Schimdt
Tumblr media
Authors Note : So I just happened to watch the FNAF movie and my god it was so good, with a hint of good Lore in it. Also the cast was perfect and ever since watching it, I had a thought of writing a quick one shot for Mike and Y/N. Where Y/N suffers from hallucination and has the same symptoms but a different kind of illness than Abby's. Suggesting that they see also the kids but also the man who's being everything, not only controlling them and their life styles, resulting in a lack of sleep pattern and tons of trauma.
Enjoy!
Ps : Pls don't repost or copy and paste my works. Everything is written by me, and also note that English isn't my first mother language, so I apologize in advance if there is any grammar errors. I tried my very best.
------------
From one call to another, Mike encountered an unending stream of repetitive "nos" and polite rejections for the position he sought. It dawned on him that he might be the source of the issue, especially after the peculiar "incident" that may have left a stranger somewhat shaken. A few days post-dismissal, someone finally directed him to visit the office of Steve Raglan, a man he had never met before. Today presented the perfect opportunity. Mr. Raglan fit the mold of a man from a bygone era, with his distinctive round glasses and traditional attire. Michael's growing apprehension made him wonder if venturing into this place had been a poor decision all along.
A hushed pause enveloped the room as Mr. Raglan perused Mike's professional background with casual interest. "Well, Mike..." He paused in the midst of his sentence, stealing a quick, appraising glance in his direction. Mike responded nonchalantly. "Yes?" His voice, however, lacked the self-assuredness he longed to convey.
"Care for some coffee?" Steve's inquiry was succinct yet brimming with anticipation as he strolled toward his coffee machine. Mike hesitated, then replied, "Um... No, thank you. I'd rather get this done quick." Deep down, Mike yearned for a stable job, one that would enable him to look after his sister, Abby, and perhaps even sway their aunt to grant them custody.
Steve sensed the growing impatience in his client, who was eager to learn what the future had in store. "You know," Steve remarked, returning to his chair, his voice now tinged with excitement – a side effect, Mike presumed, of his coffee intake. "I recognize this place. It's a place where someone like you would give anything for the job..." A spark of curiosity ignited within Mike as he leaned closer to Mr. Reglan, raising an intrigued brow. "And," Mike inquired. "what makes this place so special?" Steve paused briefly, carefully choosing his words. "Well, you see..."
Mike found himself utterly perplexed by the revelation before him. The location had not only been abandoned since the '80s but also, the job requirements were far from aligning with his original intentions. The compensation was dismal, and he couldn't help but suspect that perhaps none of the previous security guards had been paid properly either. Or not paid at all. It involved a shift he had no expertise in and had no intention of pursuing, particularly after having to bail on his babysitter to bring Abby with him. It was an unequivocal "No." He declared firmly, convinced that this man was even more cynical than he was.
"Are you absolutely certain? Your resume suggests you're more than capable for the position." Mr. Raglan made one final attempt to persuade, his features softening subtly from their earlier rigidity. However, Mike shook his head once more, resolute in his decision. He muttered briefly about the job being the primary source of his conflict, preventing him from seeing Abby or ensuring she had a decent meal, not to mention avoiding losing custody to his aunt. With determination, he rose from his chair, ready to leave the office. Just as Mike was about to exit, Steve handed him his business card, his demeanor marked by a slight pout, swiftly followed by a confident smile. "Just in case, take this," he suggested. Mike, though hesitating for a moment, accepted the card out of politeness and left the office without a word.
After his meeting with Mr. Raglan, Mike's quest for the ideal job seemed to come to an unfortunate conclusion. None of the places he had contacted before his appointment with the advisor, and none since, had offered him any promising prospects. He was beginning to contemplate that maybe accepting the night shift at this particular place was the most feasible option for now. If nothing else, it would provide him with a source of income, and the busy night hours might keep his mind occupied. What enticed him even more was the prospect of being his own boss, with no co-workers to influence his ever-present paranoia. This thought made him more determined than ever to give it a try.
On that very same day, as Abby engrossed herself in her beloved TV shows, Mike settled in to tackle his usual paperwork. It was a task he wasn't particularly fond of, especially considering how the bills seemed to climb higher with each passing month. Even though they were essentially the same, being currently unemployed gave him the impression that each payment had somehow inflated. Just as he was wrapping up his tax payments, a business card slipped through the paperwork, piquing his curiosity and triggering an unexpected flashback.
He hesitated for a moment, contemplating the significance of the card, and then made an impulsive decision. Michael picked up the card and dialed Mr. Reglan's number.
Silence greeted Mike on the other end of the line, as if Mr. Raglan had anticipated the need to give him some space before speaking. "Hello, Mr. Raglan, it's Mike." He began, slightly perplexed. Oddly enough, he could almost sense the man's smile from the other end of the call. It was a whimsical, knowing smile, as if the company had despaired of finding anyone willing to take on the position. Advising Mr. Raglan to take anyone who had agreed upon the offer. "The man who doesn’t do night shifts..."
“How may I help you?”
He hesitated for a moment, taking a deep gulp. Ultimately, if he hoped to secure some much-needed income by the end of the month, Mike felt he had no choice but to go for it. With trepidation, he inquired about the availability of the job position. Mr. Raglan's response was swift and affirmative, exuding a sense of warmth toward the young man's inquiry. Encouraged by this, Mr. Raglan asked, "So, from the seemingly random question, can I assume you are accepting to be the Night Guard? Is that correct?"
“Yes.” Mike firmly agreed.
“Well!” Mr. Raglan exclaimed with a beam smile written on his features. “Now let me explain you everything you need to know…”
Mike's first night turned out to be anything but simple, despite his initial expectations. Although he had assumed it would be a straightforward affair, the reality hit him when he arrived at the Pizzeria. Mr. Raglan had painted an enticing picture, but the reality was far from appealing. The exterior of the place was drab, with a sign in disrepair, and an entrance that appeared older than Mike himself. The eerie atmosphere left him questioning the wisdom of his decision to accept the job. However, the need for money was a compelling motivator, so he soldiered on.
As he stepped into the building, he recalled being informed that the technology was outdated yet operational, suggesting that someone had been there before him to maintain it. Regardless, as long as their shifts didn't overlap, it was a situation he could live with. However, as he prepared to settle into his office, a profound sense of isolation crept over him. Or perhaps it was a feeling he had merely convinced himself of.
On that very night, Mr. Raglan had called for a check-in, a practice that you found rather unsettling. It only served to worsen your already fragile sleep schedule as the weeks passed. What made it even more distressing were the persistent, haunting visions of them replaying in your mind – flashbacks of their appearances at the restaurant and even inside your own home. But what set your anxiety spiraling was the presence of an eerie figure intertwined with these visions. This haunting scenario ultimately drove you to seek medical attention at the hospital due to severe sleep deprivation. After that harrowing incident, it's safe to say that your eyes would seldom close.
You had also received a rather cryptic warning to keep an eye on the new night security guard, as if your job wasn't demanding enough on its own. Strangely enough, you had never laid eyes on the big boss, nor had any idea what he even looked like. All you knew was that he had a penchant for privacy and seemed to have great faith in Mr. Raglan's knack for providing these kinds of employment opportunities.
As you cruised through the town, dressed in your security guard uniform, you made a pit stop at the convenience store. There, you grabbed some instant coffee and a few snacks to keep yourself alert during your night shift. It wasn't as if you desperately needed them, but considering the unpredictable behavior of the animatronics, especially on the new security guard’s very first day, you opted to stay on high alert. After all, it had been who knew how long since you'd managed to keep your sanity intact while enduring the trials of this dismal place.
You had casually mentioned to Vanessa that you had a few errands to run. She appeared as exhausted as you, both of you affected by the recent ordeal involving the security guard. You couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor guy, always caught in the middle of chaos and associated with the color purple. It seemed absurd that something so innocuous could be the root of all these problems, but you quickly dismissed such thoughts. After paying the cashier and expressing your gratitude, you left the store behind.
Mike's night was surprisingly going well, and he mused, "It's not as bad as I thought." Despite his seemingly confident tone, he remained alert and cautious. While you had explicitly advised Vanessa not to come and check on you, yet she did precisely the opposite. Mike suddenly became aware that he was not alone. Could it be a burglar? He had been sternly warned against letting any strangers in, and he was determined to follow that advice. However, Vanessa's impressive familiarity with the Pizzeria allowed her to slip in through an alternate entrance, demonstrating her knowledge of the place. Leading Mike into desperate urgent major. Finding the burglar.
Meeting Vanessa had caught him off guard, and he was momentarily taken aback by her unexpected presence. Vanessa, however, took the initiative to speak on his behalf. "You must be the new security guard," she observed. Mike, still trying to process who this woman was, offered a hesitant nod, prompting a chuckle from Vanessa at his reaction. "I'm Vanessa," she introduced herself, her tone light. "Security guard by day, and assistant by night."
"Assistant?" Mike scrutinized her, contemplating whether he should call the big boss to confirm her role. However, Vanessa reassured him, saying. "No need to. The big boss called Y/N to fix Foxy's lair."
"Y/N?" Mike inquired, skepticism evident in his voice. "And why should I take your word for it without any proof?" He stayed close to the camera footage and swiftly switched to the next camera, which was focused on Foxy's area. Everything appeared to be in pristine condition, suggesting the entire place had been left deserted. "And who is this... Y/N?"
Vanessa pointed at the screen displaying the main entrance, where you were standing, clearly aware of the camera above. You cheekily flipped your finger at the camera, leaving Mike torn between the belief that Vanessa was indeed present or that the security guard was merely doing his job, and she wasn't there at all.
"I informed them that I wouldn't be around, but they are rather fragile. They are being advised to be checked on during their shift." Vanessa explained. "While I focus on the animatronics to avoid raising any suspicion, I suggest you go and check on them.”
The instructions were unmistakable, and Mike had little choice but to comply. "But... what if the boss finds out I'm not at my station?" He voiced his concern. Vanessa couldn't help but chuckle softly, feeling a pang of sympathy for him. "Don't fret. He's already aware." She reassured him, her expression tinged with a hint of guilt.
"Great," Mike muttered with an eye roll as he returned to monitoring the main entrance. He couldn't help but steal a glance at your figure, noticing how cold you seemed on this early fall night. He could practically see you shouting on the other line, "Hey, jerk! Let me in, it's freezing out here!" Even though he couldn't hear your words, he could tell from the expression on your face. In response, he finally granted you access, and you muttered with relief. "About time..." just before stepping inside.
As you stepped inside, the interior of the place made you acutely aware of your luck, albeit in an eerie way. It was undeniably creepy, yet you had an inexplicable sense of safety and even felt oddly welcomed. Foxy, known to be the most terrifying and historically the meanest of them all, somehow found solace in your presence. You could have sworn that at times, his eyes seemed to lower, watching as you tended to him. It was as though he had a hidden identity, not quite ready to reveal his true nature, you suspected.
As you wandered through the Pizzeria, Mike couldn't help but notice your diminutive figure amidst all the towering animatronics. He found it difficult to fathom how someone so petite could be employed in this establishment. He murmured his thoughts to Vanessa, nudging her gently. "Maybe we—" He began, but she quickly interrupted, saying, "Not now."
As you finished repairing Bonnie, the big boss tasked you with fixing Foxy, who had been acting strangely. It struck you as odd because Foxy typically only reacted to potential intruders. He preferred targeting moving objects over those playing hide and seek until they got too close. You made your way up to his lair, pulled back the curtains, and revealed his silhouette. "Seems like someone's been naughty lately..." Your voice usually provided comfort, but today it had an odd tone. "Have you...met the new guard?" You found it rather absurd to be talking to a robotic entity, particularly one as poorly and cheaply programmed as you had discovered. If there was one thing you wanted to tell the big boss, assuming you ever met them, it was to consider upgrading the gear if they ever thought of opening another Pizzeria.
On the other end, Mike observed you with a watchful eye. It didn't take long before you began repairing Foxy's arm and his body started to glitch unexpectedly. "Weird... I thought—" Your words were abruptly cut off by a loud and startling BANG. Foxy's eyes were now fixed on you, but they were different from what you were used to. They were red and filled with anger, just like in your recurring nightmares. In that harrowing moment, you froze in place, uncertain of what to do next. "Y/N!" Vanessa's voice came through the walkie-talkie, but you couldn't hear it. Everything around you felt vacant, as if you were about to become Foxy's last meal of the night... or so you feared.
An arm swiftly reached out and pulled you close to its owner. Mike clutched you tightly, and a sense of terror and dread washed over both of you. It was Mike who managed to break free from the grip and make a dash for the monitor room, but just as he got there, Bonnie arrived, blocking his path. "Damn it," he cursed, frantically scanning for an alternate route. You, from your vantage point, weakly directed him, "The first aid room...to the right."
Without uttering a word of thanks, which, given the gravity of the situation, seemed secondary to getting you to safety, Mike finally brought you to the emergency room. It was a room that had seen far too much use, but oddly enough, everything seemed to return to normal once you arrived. The animatronics had moved elsewhere, and for some reason, they couldn't access the area. This brought a sense of relief to Mike. He carefully placed your body on a rather shabby bunk bed and softly murmured, "Here..." You remained in a state of shock, your eyes wide as if your body had been frozen in place. "Hey," He attempted to reassure you, "you're safe now. Vanessa should... Great job, Mike, real smooth." He berated himself inwardly for his awkward choice of words.
Upon hearing Vanessa's presence, you lifted your head abruptly, your eyes brimming with tears you were trying to hold back. Just when you thought of her, she appeared, precisely knowing where to find you. You felt a mixture of relief and concern as she leaned in to inspect you for any wounds or scratches, cupping your face and keeping her gaze locked on you. "Has they had any water?" Mike, who was present to assist, appeared increasingly nervous this time. Being new to this place, he didn't know everything either. "Where... Where is it?" He stammered, quickly searching the room. Vanessa pointed in the direction, her eyes never leaving you. "The first storage room to the left."
"Y/N, look at me." Vanessa implored, his voice filled with unease. "The man doesn't exist. He's not here... He's a fictional—"
Nervously, Mike handed the water bottle to Vanessa, who then offered it to you. This time, you shook your head vigorously, tears streaming down your face. "No! I saw him. Foxy spoke his name to me! It can't just be in my dreams!" You pleaded, desperate to convince them, despite your previous breakdowns being labeled as delusional by past doctors. As you shook your head, you realized that Mike was beside you. You clung to his arm, causing him to gulp nervously, just a little. "You have to believe me... Please..."
Mike found it hard to believe, even though you had clearly experienced a breakdown in that moment. While it was entirely understandable, he tried to do the same thing Vanessa did. "Perhaps you should just take a moment to breathe." He suggested. "Whenever I'm in a state of panic, my doctor advises me to take deep breaths." You observed him closely and countered. "And does your doctor say you're insane?"
Insane…
As undeniable as the truth was, it struck Mike that perhaps you were right. Everything seemed so peculiar when it came to Abby and Y/N's imaginary friends, especially with Vanessa working so hard to conceal her friend's breakdowns. "You know... now that you mention it..." Mike began, leaning in to discuss it further. Vanessa attempted to nudge him away, but you allowed him to continue. But he stopped. And by locking eyes with each other, you both knew something was wrong with this place. So in response, you leaned in and wrapped yourself in his arm. There was something about him that felt like home. You felt protected and, for once, someone truly understood you.
On the other hand, Mike comforted you with a few soothing rubs on your back. He glanced at Vanessa, who seemed to share the relief but carried a heavy load of guilt inside, which she wasn't ready to disclose to either Mike or you. “Shh… I got you.” He said, with a soothing voice that remembered it as your older brother. Not letting it go he continued. “We are going to get through all of this together… Y/N.”
“Together…”
In the distance, Abby observed the trio with Foxy's humanoid presence beside her. Foxy, who felt a deep sense of guilt for what he had done to them just hours ago, hesitated to intervene to bring Y/N back to him. However, as he watched Mike and you, he felt a strong urge to protect you, jealousy even you were a mother figure for everyone, but especially Foxy. Abby noticed his face changing into hatred until she halted him with a reassuring smile. "There's no need," Abby whispered. "They have found someone... Someone who truly cares for them. Someone who will love and protect them."
Foxy silently observed the scene unfolding before his eyes, and as he heard Abby's words, he felt a sense of relief welling up within him. Watching it all happen, Foxy came to realize that Abby was indeed right. Y/N had found someone they could genuinely rely on, someone with whom she could openly express their feelings..

Cupcakes aren’t always the solution.
Vanessa Shelly x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: On one of your shifts you head to the kitchen to grab some food, only for Chica to steal one of your cupcakes. When Chica then ‘accidentally’ breaks down, you have no other choice but to call your police girlfriend who won’t be happy.
Warnings: N/A
Content: Fluff, Chica loving food
A/N: literally my first time writing anything on here so let’s see how this goes! Thought I might add to the lack of Ness fics out there, because the LOVE I have for this woman is an understatement 🫶🏻
Word count: 1111 (that wasn’t on purpose)
Prompts: ‘We have a problem’
‘No, no YOU have a problem. I have an idiot who keeps getting into one’
&
‘Are you even listening to me?’
‘Yes. It’s just taking a while to process your stupidity’
Tumblr media
You sat in the security office of Freddy’s your hands aimlessly spinning the chair you currently sat on as you watched the monitors. You had to admit even though your shift only started 3 hours ago you were bored out of your mind. Looking down at your watch which blinked 03:24 you couldn’t believe you’d only been sat here for 20 or so minuets. You continued to spin in your chair when an idea hit you, the other day you had hid cupcakes in one of the cabinets in the kitchen incase you needed something to eat on the job, so like any sane person does at 3Am you went to go get them. You’d stopped spinning in your chair, stood up and walked towards the office door.
Once you pushed open the door to the office you couldn’t help but feel your heart jump into your mouth, Chica was there hand raised as if she was about to knock. Your hand was placed over your chest, your heart pounding ‘Chica! Not funny’ you said a slight muse to your voice, as you gave her a pat on the arm that was still raised. You guessed she was just as bored as you were, so you had an idea. ‘I’m on my way to the kitchen to grab a snack, wanna come?’. The large animatronic nodded her head, and you both walked towards the kitchen.
‘Right here we go!’ You exclaim excitedly as you make it to the kitchen door, which was thrown open in a matter of seconds as you rushed in followed by Chica. You headed straight for the cabinet next to the fridge and low and behold your stash of cupcakes are still there which you had hidden a few days ago. You grab the tray and turn around to face Chica. ‘Shall we take these to the the guys and see if they want to chill?’ You question (guys being the rest of the animatronics). Chica replied with a slow blink and turned around to make her way to the stage, you followed behind her.
Once in the main area Bonnie, Freddy and Foxy made their way off of the stage to come join you and Chica, you had placed the cupcakes down on a table and taken one while the rest of the animatronics stared at you. ‘Sorry guys, if you eat one of these you’ll malfunction, if I don’t eat one of these I’ll malfunction’ you muttered the last part feeling guilty, since you had started dating Vanessa she told you about her father. William Afton. And what he’d done to the kids, so eating a cupcake in front of the them made you feel a little guilty but you still wanted to eat something. And after that the night had gone on per usual, you had played a few arcade games with Freddy and Foxy all three of you trying to beat each others scores, Chica was probably somewhere with Bonnie but what you didn’t realise is that you’d left the cupcakes uncovered around her, if all the animatronics Chica loved food. Maybe love was an understatement.
You felt a tap on your shoulder and turned around to see Bonnie who if he could would probably call you an idiot, his arm was raised and pointed at Chica who was stood next to the table where the cupcakes were, bent over slightly not moving with a cupcake in her hand. Of course this had to happen to you, you couldn’t have had the smallest common sense to close the cupcake lid. You looked at Freddy who was peering over Foxy’s shoulder as he tried to beat your high score at skee-ball, but it wasn’t the best with only one hand. ‘I’ll sort it’ you nodded at Bonnie as you walked over to Chica, Bonnie rather than following you stayed with Freddy and Foxy.
‘Right, let’s see what happened here’ you mumble to yourself, as heavy as the animatronic was you managed to get her to sit in a table out of sight of the other three, once sat down you managed to open up Chica’s stomach so you could see her endoskelenton and open up her beak. When you realised there were the remains of cupcakes lodged in some places you knew who you had to call, you just didn’t want to. Picking up your phone from your back pocket, you dialled the number dreading the response.
‘Hello?’ The voice from the phone had spoken, and you hadn’t realised it.
‘Hello, Y/N? Is everything all right?’ There it was again, hearing your name you snapped out of it shaking your head, swallowing the lump in your throat.
‘Yeah I’m here’ You said
‘Good, is everything all right?’
‘Yeah..umm look Ness we have a problem’ You stated, which was one of the good things about being Vanessa’s girlfriend was that you could be straightforward with each other, she would never be mad at you, well maybe this once for possibly breaking an animatronic.
‘No, no YOU have a problem. I have an idiot who keeps getting into one’ you heard Vanessa laugh on the other side of the phone, your breathing slowed, you knew it, she’d never be mad at you. You took a deep breath and explained your problem, of how you accidentally forgot to cover the cupcakes and that it had caused Chica to malfunction when she ate one, but after a while you’d realised it had gone silent.
‘Are you even listening to me?’ You asked, to which Vanessa chuckled in the other side of the phone.
‘Yes. It’s just taking a while to process your stupidity’
‘Hey I’m not stupid’ you protested but in reality you know it was stupid what you’d done. ‘Can you please just come and help me?’
‘Fine, your lucky I was going to call anyway’
After finishing your discussion with Vanessa you hung up the phone waiting for her to arrive. After about 20 minuets maybe half hour you heard the buzzer going for the door and ran towards it, the others knew what had happened to Chica and if they could talk you swear they’d be laughing at you. Once you made it to the front door you opened it to reveal Vanessa, stood in her police uniform.
‘Thank god your here’ You mumble embarrassed as you rub the back of your neck.
‘Yep, your lord and saviour’ she’d laugh, leaning down to capture your lips in a kiss, which you felt yourself smile into.
‘Now come on’ she nodded ‘let’s go fix Chica’. She said grabbing your hand and dragging you towards the animatronic.

Safe space - Vanessa Shelly
Another Vanessa fic? I’m hyper-fixating atm so it’s to be expected.
In the middle of writing a Vanessa x fem!reader smut so for now you can all have another fluff one (with a tiny bit of suggestiveness). Kinda want to get these all out before my hyper-fixation on Vanessa stops but it’s probs not gonna for a while as I’m also replaying Security Breach rn.
Also sorry if this one is shit lol or doesn’t make sense half of these I write sleep deprived.
Tumblr media
Summary: Vanessa comes home, stressed. She just wants comfort from Y/n.
This is a Vanessa x fem!reader one-shot :)
God, this might shift and patrol was stressful. Vanessa found out that her father employed another security guard...she was worried and she also had to go meet him, and check up on how he was doing.
Vanessa just wanted to sleep, which was unusual for the blonde, because she rarely could...mostly she just wanted to be at home with her girlfriend, her safe space. She was relieved when she could come home, it was four in the morning and she knew her girlfriend would be asleep.
It had been pouring it down with rain tonight and luckily Y/n convinced Vanessa to wear her long water proof coat. But that still didn't stop her much from getting her hair wet a bit, since she forgot to put the hood up.
Locking the door behind her and getting in her routine habit of checking all the rooms downstairs at home, everything was locked. Vanessa did this because she was scared that something could happen to Y/n...considering Vanessa' father is William Afton, after all. Vanessa knew he could easily use her girlfriend against her. And that's why she was scared to get too close to someone but it was too late now, it had been since she first met Y/n two years ago.
Her father hadn't threatened her with Y/n yet...but it was still a possibility if she didn't do as he asked, anymore.
Vanessa headed upstairs after putting her coat away and took off her shoes, if she didn't Y/n would have her head. Leaving her bag down stairs but she still took her gun with her, in case. Y/n had one to...because she knew what she'd gotten herself into getting close to Vanessa.
The blonde stripped off her cop uniform, and threw in an old t-shirt with lounge shorts. Taking her hair out of the pony tail and into a messy bun instead. She glanced over at Y/n who was fast asleep, as she turned the lamp on at her side of the bed.
Crawling into bed, Vanessa turned off the lamp, cuddling up to her girlfriend and wrapping an arm around her stomach, protectively. Suddenly Y/n stirred awake, turning over to face Vanessa. "Nessa, you're home" she smiled tiredly, her eyes slowly opened.
"I'm glad you're back. I missed you." Y/n' voice was a bit groggily from the fact she's still tired and just woke up. "I missed you too baby, it's been a hell of a night. But we can talk about it in the morning." Vanessa paused as she kissed the tip of Y/n' nose.
"Okay. C'mere" Y/n chuckled, tiredly. Vanessa was already so close to her as it is, until the blonde understood what Y/n was after, she closed the gap between their faces and kissed Y/n' lips. The kiss was soft and full of passion, then Y/n kissed back making it sloppy due to her tiredness.
Vanessa was so tempted to get on top of Y/n but she stayed at the side, kissing her. Knowing that if they started this now, there would be no sleep for either of them for a while. Their kiss continued, breathing heavy, Vanessa made Y/n moan into the kiss slightly when her hand squeezed her inner thigh, prompting the blonde to deepen the kiss with her tongue.
Vanessa pulled away eventually, both women's chests heaving, a strand of saliva connected until they broke apart. "As much as I'd like to continue Y/n, we need to get some rest."
Y/n chuckled "yeah you're right." Pausing to check her phone "fuck me it's four a.m."
Vanessa smirked at her girlfriend "tempting..."
Y/n rolled her eyes "cheeky. But you need rest, babe."
"Fine. Goodnight Y/n. I love you."
"I love you too Nessa" she kissed her softly, wrapping her arms around Y/n once again, feeling happy that she's in the company of her girlfriend, and that she gets to cuddle with her for the rest of the night...or early morning.

new year's kiss
vanessa shelly x reader tw: situationship, vanessa has a fear of intimacy :(( (happy ending though!!) a/n: happy new year!!! hope vanessa gives yall a kiss at midnight <33
Tumblr media
“Hey Y/N, Over here!”  The familiar voice shouted at you over the noise of conversations and wine glasses clinking.
You breathed a sigh of relief, having been afraid that you would have to navigate this mess of a party alone. The voice came from a nearby couch, where Vanessa lounged with a glass of champagne in hand. You noticed that she was still in her police uniform, as opposed to the sparkly dresses most of the other girls wore.
“Did you just get here? Sorry I didn’t see you earlier, too many people at the front door.” Her face lit up as you approached her. She made room for you to sit, which you graciously accepted.
“Yeah, just a couple minutes ago. My bad for being late, the traffic was wild…you know, with today being New Year’s Eve and all.”
To be honest, the only reason you were here instead of basking in the comfortable silence of your own apartment was because of the very pretty blonde cop seated before you. This was her friend’s New Year celebration, but she had invited you as a plus one, despite you not knowing a single other person.
“You look gorgeous,” there was a twinkle in her green eyes. “That dress is absolutely perfect on you.”
Your cheeks grew hot at her compliment, self-consciously adjusting the straps of your tight black dress. “And you look amazing as always. But I have to ask, why the uniform?”
“Oh, I didn’t have time to drive home so I just came straight from work. Almost startled a few people ‘cause they thought I was here for a noise complaint!”
Somehow, everything Vanessa said made you giggle. There was something so charming about the way she carried herself, and her soothing voice was honey to your ears.
Not to mention, she looked hot as hell in that uniform.
Your conversation turned to the topic of work, then New Year’s resolutions, and then whatever random subject you could think of to keep her talking.
It was nearing midnight when she asked: “So, what’s your biggest wish for this new year?”
Your eyebrows knitted together at having to choose just one.
“I mean, besides ‘stop pulling unnecessary all-nighters’ and ‘remembering to floss every day’.” She chuckled as she recalled the long list of resolutions you had recited to her earlier. “Something…life-changing. Something out of your control, even.”
Looking into her dazzling eyes, the answer came to you simply and plainly.
“I want to fall in love.”
If you didn’t know any better, you might’ve already been falling in love with this irresistible woman. How could you not? You were drawn to her from the moment you met.
It was evident that Vanessa adored you too, taking you out for dates and texting you ‘good morning’ and ‘good night’ every day without fail.
Which was why it frustrated you so much that you couldn’t call her your girlfriend.
Every time you tried to bring up making things official, she would tell you that she needed time to think things through. That she wasn’t ready, that she needed to clean up family matters, or that she hadn’t come out yet.
You were willing to wait for her, but you didn’t know how much patience you had left.
“Y/N…” Vanessa seemed to get the hint.
“I’m sorry, I don’t mean to pressure yo-”
“Let’s talk about this outside, how ‘bout that? It’s too loud in here and I need a breath of fresh air.”
She dragged you out to the driveway, where her police car was parked amongst a sea of the other partygoers’ vehicles. You climbed into the passenger seat beside her, head finally a little clearer away from the noise.
“You have every right to be angry at me, and I completely understand if you want to see someone else instead.” Vanessa started before you could say anything. “I haven’t been fair to you. I want you to be happy, I want your wish to come true, but I know I’m getting in the way.”
“Vanessa, I’m happiest when I’m with you. It sounds cheesy as fuck but there’s no better way to put it.”
“But I know you want something more serious than what we’ve got.” She completed your thought. Vanessa opened her mouth to continue, but nothing came out.
An awkwardness came over the two of you before you broke the silence.
“I don’t know the real reason as to why you can’t commit, and I won’t pretend to know. But Vanessa,” you paused and made sure that she was looking back at you. “You deserve to fall in love too. You don’t have to wait till everything’s perfect, because then you’ll be waiting forever.”
“Bu-”
“I know your family is imperfect—-and you can tell me more about it when you’re ready—-and I know you like to close yourself off to protect the people around you from whatever it is that terrifies you so much. But my dear, we can work through that together! That’s what a partner is for, and I want to be the one that you can turn to.”
Vanessa fidgeted with the sleeve of her uniform, trying to hide her watery eyes from your searching gaze. No one had ever spoken to her with such tenderness.
“So can you be the one that I fall in love with next year?” You could practically hear your heart pound as you awaited her response.
She finally allowed her eyes to meet yours in the dim light of her car. There was something there, other than the shadow of fear that appeared whenever you got too close. Her eyes were seeking permission, glancing at your lips intently.
You leaned in closer to her.
Suddenly, that shadow of fear in her eyes seemed to vanish, now replaced by a fiery sort of determination.
You reached out and grabbed her tie, pulling her in and crashing your lips together.
Outside, you could hear fireworks explode in the sky and people cheering as the last second of the year ticked by.
You felt Vanessa smile against your lips, cupping your face and deepening the kiss.

you drew stars around my scars ☆★
Tumblr media
vanessa shelly x f!reader drabble fluff
warnings: none
★summary::
vanessa and you went stargazing but you fell asleep˚₊‧꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
--------★
you waited, and waited just for vanessa to come back from her job. "Taking so long" you mumbled to your self. You gazed at the window, the sun setting down, waiting for her to poke out.
You saw a cop car pull over, shes back! You got up the sofa and walked over to the door waiting for vanessa to come in.
The door opened. "Hey swe-" before vanessa could greet you, you throw your hands around her neck hugging her. "Hi ness, missed you" you whispered in her ear. "I missed you too- i got you something by the way" she let go of you and sat on the door step so you joined her.
"You didn't need to ness" you said as she takes out a box from her pocket. "When we went to the mall yesterday, i saw this and it reminded me of you so i went back and bought it for you" you opened the box and it was a necklace with a rose quartz that meant 'unconditional love' it was pretty and pink.
"It's beautiful, thanks" you put on the necklace that happens to match the top your wearing. "You look beautiful" vanessa smiles and kissed you softly. You layyed your head on her shoulder. "Are you not sleepy?" Vanessa looks down at you. "No, im not" its around 11 PM.
"What do you want to do tomorrow sweatheart?" She asks you. "Can we just stay inside? Just us?" Vanessa smiles and nod. You feel so comfortable when vanessa's around. You feel safer with her like nothing can get to you.
"What's that?" You asked pointing at the dark sky. "Oh! A shooting star! Make a wish!" You started to make a wish, you wished that vanessa will be with you, forever, untill there is no tomorrow. "What'd you wish for?" She asked. "No silly! I can't tell you or it won't come true!" You mocked her playfully.
You started feeling daizy and sleepy but you tried stayying awake and failed. Your asleep on her shoulder. "Looks like your sleepy after all" vanessa said to her self laughing a bit. "Let's get you to bed sleepy head"
Vanessa slowly stands up while holding your unconcious body so you wouldnt fall and then picks you up bridal style. She brings you to the bedroom and puts you down on the bed.
Your eyes open slightly. "Go to bed sweetie, it's late, okay?" She strokes her hand on your head. You fell asleep again. Vanessa keeps carresing your head while sitting infront of the bed admiring you.
She loved you as much as you do. She's the person that healed you. She drew stars, around your scars.

Dangerous things // Mike Schmidt x sister!reader

Tumblr media
Summary: you accidentally almost die 🫤
Warnings: blood, cupcake,
A/N: of course I can write about that love! You're actually the first FNAF reqs i've had, i had a liiittllee trouble writing this but, i tried my best and i like the way this came out.
+•°+*°•++•°+*°•+
You were currently babysitting Abby because max was buzy, you mainly sat in the living room watching cartoons with her.
You were curious about what goes on at Mike's job. You asked him if you could tag along when he got home that morning. He said no, thinking it was dangerous.
You called max after he left, and drove to his work and snook around, you didn't know how he didn't see you on the cameras. You found him asleep in his office, so you decided to explore.
You found the "showtime" button, and pressed it. (Stupid) and upon seeing you, an adult, the Animatronics went into kill mode, cupcake jumped at you, bitting your leg.
You screamed in pain, freddy then picked you up and threw you, which didn't mess up cupcake.
The impact on the floor knocked the breath out of you. Foxy ran by and slit open your bicep, all the way to your shoulder. You tried to shake off cupcake, but failed. They continued torturing you.
"AAHHH! GET OFF, AGHH! NO!" you screamed at the top of your lungs, (somewhat like when mike was bitten by cupcake)
Meanwhile with Mike, he heard screaming in his dream and woke up quickly, he ran out to find who was screaming. And upon seeing you laying on your back with cupcake bitting the living shit out of your leg, sitting in a pool of blood.
"MIKE, HELP! AHH, MIKE!" You screamed as he ran in, freddy tried to kill him but mike got him with his tazer, and helped take care of most, but he couldn't get bonnie and Chika.
He helped you up and ran to his office, you fell to the floor. Mike was holding your wounds. You pointed at the screens. Mike ran over to see what it was.
It was Bonnie and chika, with cupcake. They let cupcake go into the vents, Mike blocked it with his back. He used all of his strength to not let cupcake get to you.
Cupcake Eventually left. Mike returned to you, who was laying flat on your back in a pool of your blood.
He moved you to his lap, your head resting on his thigh. He pet your hair softly, "im sorry mike" you said through tears. "Its okay, youre gonna be ok. Dont worry, i got you" he reassured you in a tight hug. "Dont worry, i got you. Ill protect you"
He slowly let you down, running quickly he ran and got supplies, and called Vanessa. (I ship them so hard)
She arrived while he was wrapping you up, he didn't even let her touch you for a while since you were both panicking.
She helped Mike wrap you up while he had you in his lap, supporting your upper body. He played with your hair while whispering words of comfort.
They got you to a hospital where you stayed for a few hours, before Mike got you home with a broken leg, but sadly he had to go back to work. When he returned home he saw you hadn't moved since he last saw you.
It was a pretty long recovery but, Mike and Abby helped you through it. They were both very supportive when you were recovering.
+•°+*°•+
A/N: i hope i didn't forget anything in this reqs. I hope you liked it ☺️

(Fnaf movie) Christmas headcannons because why not
-Mike dislikes celebrating Christmas ever since his brother got kidnapped, and nowadays only celebrates it because of Abby
-That said, he feels bad that he can’t give her what he thinks the ideal Christmas would be. Their parents had sold most of the Christmas decorations by the third celebration without Garret, so the house looks barebones
-Still, he always makes sure to get a tree, even when he can’t afford a nice one (which has been the case for most of holidays where there was only the two of them).
-Abby LOVES making ornaments to put on the tree, and she’s very dedicated at making them. She loves when Mikes tags along, even though they look ugly
-Mike is not the best at cooking nor baking, and somehow even when following a simple cookie recipe word by word, something always goes wrong. It’s kind of amazing really
-After waking up from her coma, Vanessa kinda just starts tagging along the Schmidts at Abby’s insistence, not that Mike would oppose or anything, but he felt that if he was the one inviting her over, she would refuse because things are still a bit awkward between them (girlie just doesn’t understand why they still want to see her after everything, and doesn’t understand why they didn’t leave her to die like she feels she deserves). And her presence is pretty much demanded now during the holidays
-Christmas with her father was always weird. He loved keeping up a good image, and he would go all out, specifically at Freddy’s. He and Vanessa would decorate the entire place from top to bottom, and hell, he would even get his employees some gifts (they were barebones and cheap, yes, but hey, a gift is a gift)
-At their home, things would be more subtle, similar to a beige mom decor, but like, with subtle shades of yellow and purple. Christmas themed songs were not allowed inside that household, but if Vanessa behaved well, he would get some dumb Christmas movies for her to watch, occasionally tagging along just because.
-William would go all out on her gifts tho. Piles of toys and clothes and whatever she showed interest during the year, everything for his little girl
-And he would, at the same pace, destroy one of them every time she mildly displeased him, and he would make sure she was watching.
-After Freddy’s closed, Vanessa would make a point to get the animatronic little gifts. They were still children after all, and all children love receiving gifts
-Nowadays, Vanessa feels extremely weird getting any sort of gift, and just like Mike, wouldn’t celebrate Christmas if it weren’t for Abby. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy celebrating with them tho, in fact, she makes a point to make it as magical and as Christmas-zy as possible
-She made sure to get ugly sweaters with scarfs to combine. Like, absolutely hideous ones. The kind you wouldn’t wear outside of the occasion.
-One thing she can’t do to save her life is cooking, just like Mike. She is not allowed at the stove.
-And since no one knows how to make a good Christmas supper, they just decided to eat at Sparky’s, which is surprisingly empty during that day, save for that one talkative waiter that Abby finds funny
-They make a point of continuing Vanessa’s little tradition to give gifts to the animatronics, and she feels happy that she doesn’t have to do it alone anymore

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It has been some time since you and Vanessa actually had a right conversation. always passing each other quickly though the house, awkward greetings here and there but nothing close to a “how are you?” or “how was your day?” nothing.
you had been thinking about moving out as fast you can but didn't really find anything good right now. especially because your work was taking more and more free time away from you. which led you to just wanting to sleep instead of doing anything.
you noticed though how vanessa stayed out longer, even on her breaks. she was really not the one who would go out even. not to stay out more than two hours.
you guessed this whole thing had an effect on her too. right? at least she was regretting it. but oh, how you craved to talk to her really again. at least she used to be your best friend. your favorite person. and you were hers. it was true.
you didn't really know but she thought of you. a LOT. at work. at the bars when she tries to numb her feelings for you. in her car on her way to somewhere. even at home, when you two are basically only some meters away.
as much as she was thinking of you she realized how much you mean to her. and how much she loves you.
at first, she didn't want to accept it. it felt weird and new to her. she was never in love with a girl before.
she knew you were hurt, deeply. but she didn't know how to cheer you up right now. she never got comforted in her life at all, of course you did comfort her. but she didn't know how to comfort someone.
though, one night something changes. she puts every confidence in her and tries to talk to you.
-
she gently knocks on your door around 10pm on a Tuesday night. you are laying in your bed all comfortable, watching some shitty tv show while eating your favorite snack. you feel your heart beat a little bit faster as you climb out of the warm and make your way to the door.
“vanessa?”
she looks down, fidgeting with the bottom of her shirt. she is almost silent for a minute.
“i am… so sorry, (y/n).” she manages to speak up. almost crying.
you sigh and look down at your feet.
“i wanna make things right between us. after all… we were once best friend?”
you nod, yet you can't forget how she said ‘i wish you were a boy.’
“vanessa…” you whisper.
“i know i messed up. it was a lot. but please, give me a second chance,” you look up at her. she is already looking at you.
“i want to be friends again— i’m sorry… but i have no feelings for you.”
you can only nod at that. you should have expected this outcome. she could never be in love with another girl. yet, there were times where you hooked up. however… you both were really drunk.
vanessa exactly knew she was lying to herself but somehow she couldn't tell you how much she loves you. even, she didn't know why. maybe it was because she always wanted to be the perfect daughter for her terrible father. you heard her cries about him so many times, you couldn't even count on your two hands. deep down in her heart, she knew she will never be enough for him, yet you told her countless times that she doesn't have to be.
“i am not too sure, vanessa… i'm sorry.” you answer to her.
“after these past weeks of us ignoring each other..,” you don't really wanna bring up the thing she said because you know, you would break down. “both of us acted childish, but it's taking it's tool out on us now,” you look down. “and i want someone who doesn't only hookups with me when they're drunk.” you say the last part much more quietly.
she nods. she is unable to speak up. her stomach flips with every second. she prepared herself for the first really, but deep down she was never prepared enough for this.
“i understand you.” after some time she manages to talk.
you don't know what's going on inside you. your stomach is walking up and down in you and your heart is loud enough for the neighbors to hear it. you don't know if you wished for vanessa to be understanding or to fight for you.
she doesn't wanna push you past your limits. she doesn't wanna make you cry again.
the fact you craved to talk to her again like old times yet here you are saying you don't wanna get close to her again.
“well, i hope everything goes good for you.” she speaks up and gets you out of your thoughts. you can hear she is about to cry depending on seconds. you only nod.
“goodnight.” she says and turns around.
“you know…,” you starts she faces you. “it's better to talk about feelings then for them to drown.”
she nods in agreement. “yes, i know…” she hesitantly reponds. deep down you know that applies for you too, but wasn't that kiss enough to tell everything to her?
-
the next week you move out. you finally found a house that you can afford and it looks exactly like how you want it to. after that, you never talked to vanessa. in fact, you even started to slowly move on and start to search for love. not always thinking about needing a relationship but if you find the right person then you'll go for them.
for vanessa… well. she thought about you too much. she missed your presence in the house so much. your voice, your smiles, your laughter, your cooking. everything.
though, after two years or so, she found love. or maybe someone who would look after her when needed someone. a man, of course. vanessa never spoke about you. tried to not think of you after her marriage yet… almost every night she thought of you. the pictures of you on her phone, she often looked through them.
in the meantime you found love too! a really sweet girl. she was your whole world. your everything. you never really thought of vanessa. maybe some times. but this girl showed you colors no one has ever.
-
sometimes you fantasize about standing in front of vanessa and telling her everything you felt when you moved out and wanted to tell her, you told her so many times how she would end up in a loveless marriage if she doesn't speak about her feelings at least a little bit more often as time went on. at least to you. someone she used to call her best friend!
still, these were meaningless little fantasies you had maybe two monthly.
only if you knew.

The smell of rain filled the air as the downpour surrounded the area. The grass y/n stood on had quickly become damp as they stood there; bag over head, desperately looking around for cover of some sort.
By a stroke of luck they saw a dimly lit building. It looked abandoned to say the least. Y/n immediately started to run towards the building, their shoes squeaking against the wet grass. Once they were right outside they took a closer look at the sign. "Freddy Fazbear's", with some sort of bear wearing a top hat and bowtie.
What is this place? They thought to themself, subconsciously scanning the building for any other people. Nope, definitely empty... Empty with locked doors. Y/n sighed and started walking around the side, their clothes becoming soaked by the rainwater. Gross.
Y/n let out a sigh of relief upon seeing an unlocked door around the side of the building. They gently opened the door... (this was done on purpose, sorry ddlc fans)
The inside was dark. Very dark. Various tables and chair were scattered across the tiled floor, thy were dusty and unkept. Much like the arcade machines to the right side, untouched for what looked like years. At the very front of the room sat a stage, covered by a crimson curtain, though it was hard to see in the dark. What mattered was that it was somewhere to wait for the rain to stop.
They carefully took a step forward, looking around the room, eyes squinted. "Hello?" Seems like no-one's here. Y/n took several more steps forward, making their through the dark building; failing to notice a little pebble just waiting to ruin their day. Y/n yelps, being dragged down to the floor. "Ouch.."
They hold their knee for a minute before jolting up at the sound of a flashlight being turned on. The bright, headache inducing light pours down, illuminating them along with some of the hard-tiled floor around them.
They look up to see a man wearing a security jacket. Now I'm in trouble.
"Um.. Hello?" The man looked to be in his 20s. "Uh sorry, am I not allowed to be here…? They quickly stand up, pulling an arm above their eyes to avoid the light. “What are you doing here? This place is closed.” Just look at that short, brown, curly hair.
"Well, it was raining and I need to find somewhere to cover until it stops. Sorry, I'll go if I'm causing any trouble."
"No, no, you're good-" And gorgeous brown eyes.
He turns the flashlight towards the floor, giving them a half smile. "What's your name?" Oh, and that face... Y/n felt their heart melt at the sight, this guy is... Amazing! Wait, what did he say?
"I'm y/n! And yourself?" They smile at him. Trying to hide the blush creeping onto their face and trying not to get lost in his eyes.
He smiles in return, his brown eyes almost glowing in the darkness surrounding them both. "That's a pretty name. I'm Mike."
He pauses, his smile faltering slightly. "Hey, you look cold. Uh, here, take this." He says, unzipping his jacket and removing it, holding out to them instead. Y/n can't help it anymore, their cheeks glowing pink even in the dark. They take the jacket and zip it around themself. "Thank you, Mike... So, do you work here? I thought this place was abandoned."
“This place closed down in the 90’s.. but I'm the security guard. I just check in on this place after dark to make sure nothing bad is going on here.” That makes sense. If he's a security guard he must be strong. God, just look at him... I've never seen anyone so perfect before!
Mike must've noticed their eyes staring at him, he clears his throat. "So, I need to go check on the monitors and stuff, feel free to just sit in the dining room for a while. I'll be in the office if you need anything." He smiles back at them, now blushing a bit too. Probably from the attention he isn't used to. "Oh and one more thing,"
He pauses.
"Would you like to get coffee some time?"
AAHHHHH I'M SO SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG, MY MUM'S IN HOSPITAL AGAIN, JESUS. I'm sorry if it isn't very good, this is my first time writing for Mike :0

Vanessa Taking Care of You💕💕
Vanessa was making her way to the pizzaria, upon making it she saw that your car wasn't there. She stepped out of the cop car and make her way inside the pizzaria.
She looked everywhere for you, first the office, then the restrooms, then the kitchen, and all around the family diner she even checked the storage room. Upon seeing that you were nowhere in sight she decided to leave, she was going to find out what has happened to you. She hoped that it wasn't her father's doing for your disappearance.
When she got to your house she saw that your car was parked on the side of the house. She made her way to the front of the house and knocked on the door. She waited for a while before knocking on the door again, she heard a groan as some shuffling on the other side before the door slowly opened.
You stared at her as she smiled, she was relieved you were okay. "Hey." You said with a Huff, your voice was hoarse and you sounded sick. "Hi, why weren't you at Freddy's? The work finally get to you?" She joked around, laughing at her own joke. You didn't really find it amusing, considering your health wasn't the best at the moment, so you just stared at her with a black face. "Vanessa I'm not... I'm not feeling well." You told her, not sure how to respond. She looked confused at first then noticed the state you were in, she rushed you inside telling you to get comfortable as she took your temperature. You told her that it was fine and she didn't have to do it but she insisted, saying she wanted to take care of you and how she studied something in the medical field.
You were laying in bed as Vanessa fed you some canned soup (she insisted that she would feed you that way you can get as much rest as possible). "What made you come here?" You asked her after you ate the canned chicken soup. "Just thought it was weird that you didn't go to work." "Really now?" You hummed as you raised your brow. "Just that? Or were you just wanting to come see me?" You teased her. "You talk a lot for someone who seems to be enjoying me being here." She said as she sat the bowl down on the nightstand. "So you did want to see me? Interesting." "How exactly is it interesting?" She questioned as she crossed her arms over her chest with a smile. "Just saying that it's strange that you would even care." She wasn't quite sure what to make of it, she wasn't sure if you were teasing her or trying to make fun of her. "Thanks by the way, for being here with me." You whispered when it got awkward. "It wasn't a problem. I like spending time with you." She told you. "You mean that?" You asked as you looked at her, smiling softy as you made eye contact. "I do. I lo- I like you a lot." She stated. "I like you too, Vanessa." You quietly said.
Hey guys!! Sorry that I haven't been as active as I would like, school has been kicking me in the butt 😭 But! I hope that you enjoyed this!!! Also thank you for requesting!! I've been trying to finish all the stories/request I have so far, I hope you all can be patient with me!!
Much Love

Hydrangeas
The first time Vanessa showed up at your door with a bouquet of flowers was on the night of your first date.
She nervously shuffled her feet, wondering how you might react to her last-minute grocery store purchase. In her defense, she had just finished working a night shift mere hours before she had to start getting ready for tonight.
An arrangement of baby blue hydrangeas laid in her arms, with little white flowers filling the gaps.
Vanessa had stood in the flower section of the store for a good half hour as she tried to decide on the perfect offering for you. The obvious choice would be roses, but she was afraid of coming off too strong.
After all, she had only known you for a week, after dancing with you at a bar. Even then, there was a spark between the two of you that she had never felt before, and she knew that she would do anything to have this work out.
So she decided on something perhaps even more thoughtful than roses.
The hydrangeas had caught her eyes the moment she saw them. They were the same shade of blue as the sparkly aquamarine earrings you always wore (she knew because you were wearing them the night you met, as well as in most of your Instagram pictures). Something about the delicate hue reminded her of your soft smile and gentle eyes.
Those same blossoms of blue were seen in your favourite vase for months after, its petals dried and preserved.

Wildflowers
For your one year anniversary, Vanessa had planned a picnic in a nearby meadow.
You sat under the warm May sun with your eyes closed, leaning against your girlfriend's shoulder. The occasional cool breeze tickled your skin as you basked in the sunlight, sighs of delight falling from your lips.
In every direction, fields of colour stretched on for miles. Flowers of all shapes and sizes were beginning to wake from their winter slumber, with many already in full bloom.
Groggily, you opened one eye to admire how wonderfully Vanessa’s blonde locks gleamed in the afternoon light.
“Hey honey,” she smiled when she noticed you staring. Giving you a peck on the forehead, she began to stand up. “I’ll be right back.”
You thought about following her, but were in way too comfortable of a position for your muscles to want to move. Instead, you laid back on the picnic mat and listened to the birdsong overhead.
Vanessa returned soon after, prancing towards you in her pretty pink sundress. She held out a brilliant bundle of wildflowers: reds, blues, oranges, and yellows amongst various shades of green. The stems were tied together with a blade of grass, assembled into a perfect little bouquet.
“For you, my beautiful girl.”

Lilies of the Valley
This time, Vanessa had to ask the Internet for help.
You and her had been in rocky waters for the past week, arguing over trivial things such as who was going to do the dishes.
She knew that you were only matching her attitude, as she had been quite unfair in how she spoke to you lately. Really, she didn’t mean it—the long, stressful shifts at work had gotten the better of her, but instead of talking it out, she pent up those emotions until they overflowed.
Vanessa knew she had to do something to clean up the mess that she had created.
A Google search for apology gifts gave her a list of ideas, and she set out for the store while you were at work one day. It took her several tries before she found a florist that supplied what she was looking for.
The vase held a bunch of delicate little white flowers, each hanging off of thin green stems in rows. There must have been at least a hundred of them, every one perfectly bell-shaped.
She recalled that you had once stopped to admire a patch of these on a walk, which is why she recognized them almost immediately when they came up on her search. Apparently, they symbolized apology, amongst other things.
Knowing that she would already be at work by the time your shift ended, she left the flowers alongside a note on the dining table:
My dearest Y/N,
You are my world, but I haven’t been treating you like it lately. I’m sorry that I’ve been a terrible communicator, and for taking out all my stress on you. You didn’t deserve that.
I got you a little something here: Lilies of the valley. It has a pretty name, just like you.
I know it doesn’t make up for how I acted, but take it as a token of my love. Really sorry I can’t be home tonight; you know how my shifts are.
Maybe we can do something fun when I get back?
I’m going to do better from now on, my love <3

Roses
On Valentine’s Day, you received the sweetest, reddest roses.
Vanessa had taken a day off just to prepare for the occasion, taking it upon herself to decorate the entire apartment with candles and petals.
At her insistence, she picked you up from work, wearing a suit so nice it made you feel underdressed in your plain blouse and jeans. The look was completed by a rose between her teeth, one corner of her mouth lifted in a gentle smirk. You giggled at how ridiculous but sexy she looked.
She presented you with a bouquet she had hidden behind her back, a dozen more roses bound by lace and gold wrapping paper.
Each flower had been carefully handpicked by her, the process having taken her nearly half a day at the florist’s. She made sure to select only the most vibrant ones, with every petal intact, for her babygirl.
They smelled so good, it made your heart flutter. Of course, you knew that roses were known for their fragrance, but something about getting them from the love of your life made the sweet scent all the more mesmerizing.
To top it all off, the lace holding everything together had the same colour and pattern as that chic white lingerie set you knew she loved seeing you in.
You took a mental note to change into it before the evening’s fun.

Paper flowers
You were puzzled when Vanessa took an unusual interest in the crafts section of the dollar store.
Your girlfriend had never expressed herself as an artistic person, always leaving all the home decor DIY stuff to you. But now, she was buying stacks of coloured paper and disappearing to her office with them for hours at a time.
You had been reading on the couch one Sunday afternoon when you felt her hands cover your eyes from behind.
“Don’t peek! I have a surprise for you,” she whispered excitedly.
You nodded, keeping your eyes shut as she set something down on the table in front of you.
“Okay, now open your eyes!”
The product of her mystery project blew your mind beyond words.
In a tall glass vase, she had placed paper flowers of all different colours, each resembling different species with shocking accuracy. They were folded with such neatness that you immediately understood why it had taken Vanessa so long.
“I saw a video online, so I knew I had to make some for you,” she grinned cheekily. “The papercuts were all worth it.”
You grabbed her face and kissed her, all while a singular thought circulated through your mind: How many other hidden talents did this woman have?
