Synastry aspects with my unforgettable and beloved ex (Personal Experience) *Part-1* 💝👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻

I’ve been feeling quite nostalgic about the memories I had with my first ex in these days. I normally don’t reveal my feelings this because I’m worried that I wouldn’t be able to control myself and things would go worse as I tend to be impulsive when I really want something. However, I checked our synastry chart last night as I couldn’t sleep and I saw some lovey-dovey aspects as well as heartbreak aspects so let’s dive into it!🤿

His sun conjuncts my moon

💗This is a traditional soulmate aspect and I also think he’s my soulmate. We broke up because we were too young and our parents forced us to. Also, it was because he was moving to another city. If it had not been like that, I’m pretty sure that we would still be together to this day. He has also told me that he felt that we’re soulmates. I felt very comfortable with him most of the times and he just got me. He understood my feelings and I also could tell his feelings just by looking at him. Our energies also sometimes were mixed up. If he was sad, I was sad too and we were not even in the same place at those times. It was like magic. He was like the Ying to my Yang and Romeo to my Juliet. Even though we don’t have mercury aspects, our conversations were always going with the flow and there was not a single time when we had nothing to say. We were friends and also lovers.👫🏻

💗This is also very warm and sweet, especially in Cancer. We both were romantic but needless to say, as I have a Venus in 12th house, I made more romantic gestures for him than he did for me. Whenever we were together, we stared at each other while holding hands and we smiled and giggled. It was like a scene from a typical high school romance movie. I loved to hold his hands so much. I felt very safe when I held his hands. I used to hug him from behind and from the front and at those times, I just felt like I was at home even though I was at school where I hated the most. My blood boiled suddenly and it was special. I felt like he could be the father of my children lmao😭😂. And I also loved staring at him and brushing off his hair when he slept. He was like a cheerleader for me too. He supported me emotionally and I supported him to take actions to achieve his goals. I was prone to anxiety attacks so I had difficulties in studying but he uplifted me and I also helped him learn by studying with him together. The connection between us felt so traditional though. Most of the time, I loved switching gender roles (not in bed). For instance, I didn’t want to become a housewife who stays at home and takes care of children. 💗That also indicates a sexual attraction but his Venus was in Leo and I am allergic to guys with Venus in Leo. I just don’t get along with them normally because they irritate me. They want someone who they can show off to public and I don’t know his intentions towards me but urgh idk I don’t like Venus Leo men (I love girls though). At this point, I think I played as a masculine role and he was in feminine mood because I kissed him first. Yes you saw it. He wasn’t making any moves so I wasn’t patient anymore and I just kissed him and he was soo surprised because in our country, girls don’t normally kiss first. He told me that it turned him on more but in a romantic way and not sexually.😃

💗We were bubbly together. I laughed with him a lot and our relationship was teemed with giggles and crazy laughs. I enjoyed his company and he enjoyed mine too. 💗We rarely fought during our relationship but there was one fight that I can never forget. My mars Aries shot his ass off with non-stop cursing words and he also said that I was selfish and etc. The fight ended with the help of mutual friends but during the argument, it was like two tigers fighting for a piece of beef.🐯

💗I have to admit it. I liked him first and I kind of flirted with him. He flirted me back and we got together. From the first time I saw him, I had this lil crush on him like he was my type even though he didn’t meet my expectations. I adored him the way he was. I just felt so positive about him and he told me he felt it too.

My north node squares his moon

💗I have seen in a post on tumblr (I don’t remember the original author sorry) that those people whose personal planets make square aspect to your north node may drag you down or delay you in some way. In other words, they may be the reason for delays and restrictions to get to your life purpose. His moon squares my north node and I had to process our break up for about a year because of his feelings and mine. I don’t know how to explain this but I felt emotionally stuck with him like I could not escape from my own emotions and I felt that he was the one responsible for it.

My Lilith conjuncts his Venus

💗It’s really interesting to see this pattern going on with me because there are 3 guys that I can never forget in my life and two of them have their Venus conjunct my Lilith. I’ve read countless posts about Lilith contacts and I still don’t clearly get who is more obsessed with who but I’m pretty sure I was the one more obsessed with both of them. I couldn’t let go of them even after a long time. This guy and I broke up 3 years ago and look at me, I’m still here, writing a post about the synastry between him and I😭😂. Plus, I felt that I could show my Lilith side to him without worrying about being judged. So if any of you have experiences with Lilith conjunct venus, please share yours freely because I’m so curious!!😩

His Lilith conjuncts my mercury

💗He was obsessed with the way I talked. He told me to talk more with him about various topics because he felt good hearing my voice. I find this funny because my word usages are not even attractive and my voice is also not hot but he said he loved it. He didn’t like it too when I talked to other people, even to my older cousin brother. Pretty bit of a tiny red flag but I was so in love with him so I was blind at that time.😪

My Chiron opposes his Venus

💗This is also a same pattern because I was always heartbroken by guys who had their Venus in aspect with my chiron (not only opposition). People say that Venus conjunction chiron is a marriage aspect and it’s very healing but I got major traumas from a guy whose Venus conjunct my chiron so hmm umm excuse me!? Back to my ex, his Venus is in opposition with my chiron and it was not healing at all. AT ALL. He traumatized me. His parents traumatized me. His friends traumatized me. Honestly, it’s very complicated to explain but the reason why I got bullied and slut-shamed at school is because of him. But those experiences made me stronger and more mature. It brought me to where I am right now and that’s why I don’t regret it. It hurt me so much though. Like a sword in my heart.😔

His Saturn conjuncts my ascendant

💗So, I don’t have much to say about this aspect but I felt insecure with him at some times. Especially when it came to my daily activities and my appearance. I felt that I wasn’t pretty enough and I felt ashamed to mention what I did in my daily life. But this is not very personal because most guys from my class had their Saturn conjunct my ascendant as Saturn moves not so fast and those guys were at the same age with me. In a way, I felt insecure about my appearance with people who were at the same age with me.

💗I’m not very sure about this because I don’t know his birth time and the moon can differ from 1-10 degrees forward or backward depending on the birth time. But his moon is at 15 degrees (without birth time) and my ascendant is at 21 degrees, so it conjuncts as of now. I felt at ease with him as I mentioned earlier but I’m going to talk more about this aspect in my later post because his moon is in my 12th house and I have a lot to say about that. Even creepy and paranormal stuffs.🥶

His chiron conjuncts my descendant

💗I searched it up on Google and I saw that the chiron person is destined to give the descendant person a lesson in whatever ways and that is absolutely true. He brought lessons into my life and I’m really grateful for those and interestingly, back in those days, most guys in my class also had their chiron conjunct my descendant and they also brought me lessons and lessons and lessons. The whole class didn’t speak to me FYI. And also the whole school. That’s okay now because I realized that being alone doesn’t mean feeling lonely and you can feel lonely even though you’re going out with friends if you’re not in the right circle.

Anyways, I had to write this out because my heart was crying out for him so much and the only thing I can do at this time is writing this and recalling some sweet memories we shared. I have a love-hate relationship with him and currently, I miss him so much and wanna talk to him but I can’t. I wanna g we back with him kinda but as my friend said, there was a reason why I broke up with him and why I blocked him on social media so I shouldn’t go back.

For starters, Trine and Sextile, along with Conjunction, Square, and Opposition, are five major planetary aspects in Astrology. Trines and Sextiles are considered soft or easy aspects, while Squares and Oppositions are referred to as hard or harsh aspects. Conjunctions are seen as neutral, depending on the planets involved.

𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 Δ

A trine is formed when the two planets are 120° apart. Usually, it is seen between planets with the same elements: Fire-Fire, Earth-Earth, Air-Air, Water-Water. It also tends to be four signs apart. For this aspect, an orb until 8 degrees can be considered (a wide orb), but more prominent with 5 degrees below.

Example: Sun at 2 degrees Aries (Fire) could trine the Moon at 4 degrees Leo (Fire)

Note: Trines do not only occur between planets with the same elements. Because they depend on degree, there are instances where two planets with different elements form a trine. For example, Sun at 29 degrees Aries (Fire) could form a trine with Mars at 3 degrees Virgo (Earth). It may happen because, during this time, Sun is close to transiting Taurus, which is an Earth sign.

— A trine is considered the most prosperous aspect. It indicates a harmonious, tranquil flow. It can be compared to the river waters: flowing continuously at ease. It is innate and effortless. It's always interesting on days when Venus and Mars are in exact alignment with each other to see how individuals act. I will see those with more feminine energies become more masculine, and those with more masculine energies become more feminine. It's fascinating actually, because it shows me what part of them they might be suppressing.

And that is the case today as Venus in Libra trines Mars in Gemini at 24°. This is a Venus/Libra ruled degree that asks you to receive. So whatever you need today - more masculine or more feminine - it's available to you if you will simply open up and receive it.

HOWEVER ... Jupiter has retrograded back to 0° Aries, bringing the entirety of Aries energy to your doorstep. So those who already have a bit of masculine energy they have been suppressing may have that come out more than expected today.

And because Venus is in Libra, and this trine is happening at a Venus/Libra ruled degree, the same can be said of feminine energy. If you've been suppressing your feminine energies they may come out more than expected today.

Air Placements, Venus-Mars, and Sudden Intimacy

I’ve always admired the wit of the air signs – their ability to read people; the way they have with words; this social dance they play at, flitting between moments of chaos effortlessly, reaching a hand out to you, yes you. Come along for the ride, won’t you?

There is a bounce to the intellectualism, the calculated movements of an air sign. Signatures of Mercury (ruling Gemini) and Uranus (ruling Aquarius) stain the triad: Hermes’ winged feet carry him far and wide as the pale visage of Uranus throws mist into his path, obscuring who or what he may encounter on his epic journeys. And we cannot forget the graces of Venus, the Roman Aphrodite, ruler of Libra. She brings a love of people and the unusual skill to curate one’s environment, as well as the self within.

Air is a breath of something fresh, and a whiff of it on a love asteroid or two can manifest as quite distinctive, but a Venus-Mars double whammy?

Before we jump into double whammies, let’s talk dispositors. The planetary ruler(s) of a sign feed into any planet in that sign. As an example, say you have an Aries Venus. Aries is ruled by Mars, making your Mars the main dispositor of Venus and any other Aries placement you might have. This would also be true for your Scorpio placements, as Mars is the traditional ruler of Scorpio.

When Mars disposits into Venus or Venus disposits into Mars or both disposit into each other (disposit is not a word lol), the two planets become connected as if they were aspecting each other, even if they’re not and especially if they are. In my experience, Venus-Mars dispositions layered on top of a close major aspect hit like a punch to the face. 

So where does the air come in?

I’ve experienced two cases of an Aquarius Venus feeding into a Libra Mars. The Mars placement is already an interesting one on its own, with the introduction of Libra’s Venutian love of harmony and justice. The intrigue of a Libra Mars is found in its social mask, as aggression and conflict are pushed away to maintain a fragile veneer of amity. The Aquarian eccentricity of Venus, however, establishes an unevenness: cracks in the mask. 

Aquarius is ruled by two planets, Uranus (modern ruler) and Saturn (traditional ruler), allowing the sign to be read as an attempt to break free from restrictions. Different shapes and stages of Aquarius exist in every chart, and not all are fully matured. The raw, untouched, underdeveloped Aquarius takes on a notable Saturnian coldness, leaning further into the stubborn dogmatism only a fixed air sign could fully bring to the table. This particular Venus signature can weave between shutting out and turning on, and that energy goes straight for Mars if they’re trine. When the Uranian essence does come out – typically quite suddenly, as is the nature of the planet – it can be like someone flipped a switch, and the full aggression of suspended affection is suddenly on top of you, flailing for your attention.

Trade the Aquarius Venus for one marked by Gemini, and the throughline of playfulness runs clear. Mercury-meets-air is a crossroads of tricks and giggles, Hermes delivering his messages alongside good-natured pranks. This can act as a distraction from the Martian mayhem Libra so wants to avoid, but who really cares when you’re having fun? And if these two placements happen to be trine, the diversion will go down especially easy. Expect teasing and maybe even a quick slip into a romantic little vibe, only if the feelings are there.

This doesn’t work quite as smoothly the other way with Mars dispositing into Venus since the Venus placements would be restricted to Mars-ruled signs (Aries, Scorpio), but a mutual disposition is always fun. 

In the event that a chart contained a Libra Mars and Aries Venus in near-perfect opposition, the two planets would be triply tied: Mars would feed into Venus, Venus would feed into Mars, and both would tug desperately at each other from across the chart. Aries Venus brings a spontaneous and magnetic passion, and possible naivete, to a Mars that throws a need for control and prudent self-management right back.

These energies struggle against each other in an attempt to reach one another and yet each informs the other. If the conflict of such a placement goes unresolved, one may doubt themselves in their relationships and along the dual-house axis upon which the opposition lays. Still, there is much potential to be found in the expert mediation of a Libra Mars as applied to the deep attachments formed by an Aries Venus and vice versa, where the unapologetic passions of Venus enable Mars to confront the disputes at hand.

And what if Venus and Mars are conjunct?

When the two planets meet in a sign, they take on the essence of the sign in question, feeding off each other rather than into. Venus-Mars is known for being especially explosive due to the connotation of a union between romantic and sexual love and attraction, but that may not ring true in every sign or house. It’s difficult to sit here and write observations knowing that all charts are so different, right down to the degrees, yet I can say that the concerns of these planets are inextricably linked in such an aspect. It may be in a way that isn’t easily observable to an outsider or has not yet unraveled itself for those whose chart it graces, but there is indeed meaning that deserves to be derived, and it likely exists within the elemental theme.

The concerns of the air signs often tend to have a societal face. Think the humanitarianism of Aquarius or the diplomacy of Libra. Think of Hermes, the Greek counterpart to Mercury; the same Mercury that rules Gemini. The intimacy implied by Venus-Mars could be much more abstract than it first appears. Maybe you’re destined to bring people together by solving conflicts on the streets or in the courts or maybe your purpose is to lighten the very real burden we as humans collectively share. You could be a performer, a socialite, an activist… 

Regardless, this approach to love at the intersection of Venus and Mars is hard to grasp within the bounds of just another astrology observations post, and yet it begs to be observed. It may initially lack the fanfare, the spectacle granted to your cinematic rom-com, but it still manages to reach new heights in epic.

Are you considered a 'player' or someone who can love more than one person? Because you typically can be an individual who gets a lot of options with this placement, people just like you and flaunt to you.
