Does Belo make any angel-cooing sounds during a heat or is he just clingy? What other ways are there to lure in a celestial 😏?

That's definitely more than a little insulting, don't let him catch you playing that. He's no dove or pigeon!

While an angel's cooing and crooning is much softer and ethereal in quality, they do have a sort of call that's along the same rhythm. So, when Belo is in the throes of his rut, he may instinctively look at you as if assuming you're attempting to mimic his cries.

The result of this is Belo puffing his chest to a humorous degree, his pupils swallowing his eyes, and unfolding both his wings, restarting his crooning and expecting you to repeat it to him, or make your own.

More than clingy, as a warrior type, he's very on the defensive and refuses to settle down. That's his biggest flaw during rut actually, Belo just won't rest. He insists he needs to be in your vicinity. This doesn't immediately translate into touch (even if he's fucking dying to glue himself to you), he just needs to see you.

Unfortunately, due to the fact that celestials used to be manually paired by siadar, especially matchmakers like Miara once was, they don't really court each other. They have instincts, of course, but thanks to that cognitive disconnect regarding intent, it's hard to purposely lure them to you.

Perhaps the best thing a human can try is to sing, especially if you have a nice vocal range and can reach certain high or intense tones/pitches. It's worth mentioning angels will gravitate to the sound of certain instruments like pianos, harps, violins, flutes, ocarinas and a few others.

What if Sephiroth was more open about his emotions, and less cold and distant

I try to give him a twinge more anxiety and expressiveness in my stories, but I think, in truth, that his survival was ultimately contingent on how well he was able to close his emotions away.

We can glean that Sephiroth was raised in extremely cold, hostile conditions designed to condition him into discipline and killing from an early age. Not much room for emotions there, especially for a distinguished soldier. The only times he really emotes are around his friends and Zack. But still very controlled and contained. It's definitely a survival tactic.

If he were more open about his feelings, I think it would be extremely obvious how much of a complete wreck he is. Traumatized, frustrated, and all over the place with his identity (and mommy) issues. His fame would be fleeting as so many of his fans were attracted to his calm dignity and mysteriousness. Now, it's just obvious that the man's kind of messed up and has no actual form of reference for normal healthy human behavior.

Which would only make him cling to his friends even more, adding more friction and possessiveness into the mix. Sephiroth expresses himself more openly to them, yes, but what they hear is desperate and messy and borderline crazed in its need to keep them. The only good things in his life, the last bit of happiness and peace he can hold on to.

I've always viewed OWA's lyrics as a pretty big indicator that despite Sephiroth's seemingly calm and calculated persona, the man is absolutely SEETHING and screaming inside (or "burning inside" as the song puts it). His facade is seeming like he always has everything under control. Get rid of that and all you'll find is an incredibly stunted, incredibly damaged shell of a person who never really grew up. A walking man-toddler with PTSD desperately hiding just how angry and vengeful he is behind a smirk.

The male protagonist of SRW R. I won’t go too in-depth into what he’s like, as you’ll find that out for yourself as the LP goes on, but I like him quite a bit! He’s not the most complex character ever made, but I think he grows a lot throughout the story.

True to the title of protagonist, his statline is really good. Top-notch Melee and Skill, and respectable levels of everything else. Compared to Fiona, he has lower Ranged, Evasion and Accuracy, but they’re still far from being low.

As for spirit commands, right now his singular one is Focus (集中, raises this unit’s hit/evasion rate by 30% until your next turn). A more tanky command like Wall (鉄壁, reduces all incoming damage by 75% until your next turn) would probably be nicer to have in the long run, but there's quite a few situations in which he gets forcibly deployed in an evasion-oriented frame (such as the situation we’re in right now!), so it’ll come in handy regardless.

Finally, the one pilot skill he has right now is Potential (底力) at level 1. Potential is a skill I plan to make a proper post about later down the line, but the short of it is that the lower your HP is in relation to your max HP, the better your unit performs.

Fun Fact: In SRW OG, the SRW spinoff series that features the original casts of various SRW games, Raul and Fiona are adapted as twin siblings. Raul is the older twin!

This Excellence frame was designed for high-speed, high-scale outer-space combat. In other words, this thing’s made to fight alongside Mobile Suits. Aptly, it’s capable of All-Range Attacks thanks to its unmanned guided weapons, the funnels  LEGALLY DISTINCT Fairies!

Considering that in this game’s setting, the best alternative to funnels that oldtypes can rely on are still wire-guided, it’s quite strange that the federation personnel weren’t impressed by a wireless alternative.

I’m not a huge mark for this thing’s design, but I do have a soft spot for it since the funnel (which our LEGALLY DISTINCT Fairies share an animation with) animation in this game is really nice-looking.

With only average Mobility, paper-thin Armor, low HP, and low base EN, I find it to be one of the more underwhelming Excellence frames. 

Still, it’s not without its upsides; it has a sword, which will only become more useful as the game goes on, it has 10% EN regen per turn like every Excellence frame, and the Fairies pack serious firepower coupled with high range, which will be very useful once our protagonist gets their hands on the Support Attack skill. Still, their relatively high EN cost when compared to the frame’s low base EN means that even with EN regen, it's costly to rely on them too much, and the 120 Will requirement on them is really pesky when you realize that without them active, this frame has no moves with a range higher than 4.

In my experience, you use this frame when you have no choice but to use it.

Fun Fact: In SRW OGs, the Fairies' animation features some of the fairies reflecting each other’s beams, to increase the number of hits per beam shot fired, much like the Psyco Gundam Mk-II’s Reflector Bits. See for yourself below!

Can I give a more thorough analysis of this now that I’m like. Not watching him right in front of me?

Sure.

The duster is an early aew call back. It didn’t have his little wing but that’s very similar (if not the same? will have to look at pictures) to what he was wearing pre Last Call. With the undershirt it’s also serving such Cleaner vibes and the choice of a black shirt I’m betting was an on purpose choice.

Like the Bucks he came out the face tunnel but with his cronies from when he was A Heel. Per the laws of Kenny hair though it’s dark there’s blonde peeking through and his hair is more Natural than the Artificial Dark hair colors Kenny would tend towards. But it’s still more dark than light.

Along with playing with ring rust (the early spot where he shrugged at the bucks after just Barely hitting the spot) and his injuries (oh! his knee!! his shoulder!! checking on his Hernia™️ after the match) there was a lot of fun storytelling with him and Dragon Lee and I’m anxiously awaiting the post-TV videos of the Bucks and Kenny saving an unmasked Lee from Andrade and Rush.

There was so much !! The gear he went with, not anything new but an older pair, god everything was masterfully done. The harder spots to show that twinkle (like the star on his gear) of what’s to come. But protected (even though he hit the OWA the bucks had to hold back the other two members of the team to get the win)!

And a final note: commentary. They put over, specifically verbatim, that Kenny was the Last Person the Bucks called for this match. Kenny always chooses them but The Bucks Never Choose Kenny has been the aew thread. The nod for Hangman to dethrone Kenny was the closest to a Bullet Club Betrayal we ever got. But whether that feeds into Heel!Kenny or Injured!Kenny storylines will be so interesting

I have an idea for a language structure where there's base words, which have a neutral meaning, and changing a vowel changes the meaning. For example swapping I for E would change the meaning of a word that means okay to good, and swapping the E for an A would change the meaning to very good, but swapping the vowel for an O would mean bad, and swapping the vowel for an U would mean very bad. So each words meaning would be dependent on the vowels used, and for words that don't have variant with a positive or negative equivalent, I would be used for all vowels used in the word, and for words referring to past present or future a negative vowel would imply past tense, a neutral one would imply future tense, and a neutral one would imply present tense, for example if the word that preforms the same functions as the words do, did, and done was nilik(not a real word, just an example) then nolik would mean did, nelik would mean do, while nulik would imply far past tense(like months instead of days), and nalik would imply far future tense(like months instead of days), and by changing the second vowel, you can change the tense further, for example nalok would be mid future tense(like weeks instead of months or days) while nalak would be far far future tense(like years instead of months). Another example could be a word indicating understanding, for that purpose we shall make the neutral word be iwi, which will indicate that you aren't confused, but also don't fully understand something, while ewi would be some understanding and lack of confusion, while ewe would be a bit more understanding, and no confusion, awi would be almost complete understanding, and away would be complete and total understanding, owi would be slight confusion, owo would be a bit more confusion, uwi would be quite a bit of confusion, uwu would be total confusion with no understanding, ewo is some understanding and some confusion, ewu is some understanding and much confusion, awo is much understanding and some confusion, awu is much understanding and much confusion, owe is some understanding and some confusion, owa is much understanding and some confusion, uwe is some understanding and some confusion, uwa is mucho understanding and much confusion.

Well it's time to open the door again as AEW and NJPW put on another big card PPV

Last year it was perhaps one of the best PPVs of the year, let's see how this one holds up

Conclusion

There were high expectations going into Forbidden Door, but if anyone tries to tell you that it's a 'two match card' feel free to slap them, because they'd probably jizz over the one Bloodline match per PPV and call it the best thing ever. This PPV had its downsides for sure, a lot of weak finishes - a couple maybe done due to injuries or Sting feeling a little loopy - so it didn't come out to its full potential, but it was still a really good night for wrestling.

I would still say in spite of everything it was still a success, but I also feel like AEW and New Japan need to consider making it a 2-Day event to fit more talent on the show, we still lacked names on AEW's side like FTR, HoB, Acclaimed, BCG (if they wanted to come on I'm not sure how Jay feels about using FD as a loophole), Miro, Ethan, Dark Order, PAC, Keith Lee, TNT Champion Christian I mean Luchasaurus, Wardlow, Samoa Joe, and names on NJPW's side like Bullet Club, GoD, Alex Zayne, Nagata, Team Filthy, Bishamon, Great O Khan, Toru Yano (let Yano and Mox face off you cowards!), Master Wato, and KUSHIDA, and this is not even bringing up all the women we could've used - which frankly, we should try to schedule an All-Women's crossover PPV with Stardom featuring DDT/TJPW, AEW/ROH and maybe even other companies' talents.

But I digress, a lot of match finishes were poor but a lot of the wrestling in matches were enjoyable, I had fun and we set up some new directions and potential rematches down the line.

Match of the Night: This is probably gonna be controversial to some but I felt that the 10 Man Tag was the best of the night. Omega/Ospreay and Okada/Danielson were really good, but they also took time to get going, and I do prefer a high-energy wrestling match to a slower technical bout. Best Attire: Tetsuya Naito, man looks like he stepped out of a masquerade party and since SANADA is just his 'regular guy' persona rather than the cold skull and we had no extended Omega attire he's really the only choice. Best Performance: I want to give it to Eddie for carrying the emotional weight of the 10-man, I also want to give it to Punk for being a proper shithouse to a mixed crowd, I also really want to give it to Danielson for wrestling a clinic with a fractured arm, but I do have to give it to Omega and Ospreay as a tie they wrestled their butts off Spot of the Night: As much as I still love Takeshita decking Ishii, it's Omega kicking out of the OWA at 1

General life update how’s things going

It has been forever hasn’t it. 😅 This is gonna be long so I’ll put it under a break.

Well, I’m still teaching English at a small rural school. 10th grade to be specific. Teaching after the pandemic is hard.

My boyfriend and I have now been dating for 1 year and almost 4 months. He’s still very cute, and I love him a lot. Long distance is hard even if it’s only an hour.

I assistant directed the play at the school. It has been a dream of mine to help with a school’s production. The kids had so much fun! It was an amazing time.

I’m trying to teach to the best of my ability. This last semester has been rough. I’ve come to 4 years teaching at this point. There’s many times I want to quit. Students who make the profession great are few and far between.

I recently got on anxiety meds which has really helped. I didn’t realize how much of my self worth was put out onto others. It was weird to figure out all of that.

Lastly, I’ve been trying to write more poetry. I’ve found it’s easier to do in short bursts of energy.

All of this to say, I think I’m in a better place than I have been in awhile. How are you doing Shadow??? It’s been a bit too!!!

Kavaa, asemic writing, speech, and movement:

Kavaa is asemic writing, speech, and movement. It is primarily used in order to release or express kna through its usage, so that the practitioner can performed the act of magick, especially divination, and owa. Kavaa is a form of random, wordless, non readable writing, speech, and movement in which the practitioner lays out randomly, and in the moment. The individuals skaknao extends from this act allowing their intentions to be imprinted and sent out through it to impact the rest of the existence. The writing, speech, and movement holds power from their creation process along with the will of the practitioner who laid it out through their action. Marking the air or a surface with its power brought on from its kna through kavaa. Written forms of kavaa could be increasingly given kna to give it even more power to act out the will of the practitioner, and could be used much like a sigil. This is different from a sigil due to the fact that its sigilization process is very quick, and that for the most part it is not re creatable. This primarily leads to all forms of kavaa to be unique to their working, and pretty much an image of the will of the practitioner at the moment of creation, which will be focused around a specific intention. kavaa allows you to direct kna through the positioning of it within the existence using it as writing speech or movement in magical workings to direct your kna and because of that your power.

Kavaa writing:

In order to create kavaa writing the individual should focus intently in their mind on what they would like to bring forth, then with that greatly infix within the mind begin to strikeout mark's that look like you're trying to write something without writing anything. Form the words, and letters with your will in order to mark the page with it. These markings will be the kavaa and will contain the will of the practitioner.

Kavaa speech:

In order to create kavaa speech all you must do is make random utterances that come to your mind, while focusing on and feeling out your own kna in order to give substance to your will, allowing it to be brought forth. It's really just going to sound like gibberish and a bunch of noises, but it will affect anything in the vicinity that is able to feel, or hear the sound. It is also able to be whispered in order to focus it upon something or it can be used internally through internal thought.

Kavaa movement:

In order to create kavaa movement you must move randomly while focusing on what you are trying to will. These random movements will express your kna sending your will out to manifest. As long as the body is moving or posing in ways that give fourth that intention the kavaa movement will be able to help manifest.

Okay so uhm I just need to talk and let things go I'm sorry this isn't the stardew valley post I would post now.

My cat, his names revan, and I've had since childhood got really sick the moment his older sister owa, was brought to the new house and he was left here with me for a bit but then he just gave up and became depressed the moment his sister was gone, he wouldn't eat or drink anything, or move,

He was mostly taken in by my sister's dad but then was given to me to watch even though it was originally my cat.

And like. My mom had to come over and take him with my sister's dad to the vet to put him down, they didn't want me coming with them, since he's a really old cat and is very sick. And I wasn't crying for an odd reason it's hard for me to cry about things but I was laying on my bed and then at exactly 12:50 am I just started bawling my eyes out, it felt like a part of me was gone, I feel like that was the moment they put him down at the vet and I just. I don't know, they took my yellow soft blanket I use to just wrap myself up in when I'm cold and wrapped him up in it to get him cremated.

And the worst part is, was the old landlord of my sister's dad's apartment kicked owa and revan out of the apartment and then my sister's dad quickly found revan and owa sitting together when he was told by his ex girlfriend to come get them, since she wouldn't originally give him the cats that were his(one was mine but since it was a long time ago I couldn't take him back that time) and the horrible part was that his ex was hurting my baby Revan and dragging him across carpet which hurt him bad, I was told these things and wondering, why the hell didn't they give them to me for a bit since they wanted someone to watch them, even if one was supposed to be my cat.

but then someone took him away and then my sister's dad bought him and wouldn't give him back, that was years ago, that's why I don't have full custody over my own baby and my sister's dad had him.

Arumi latches onto his arm, trying to read his phone screen.

“H-Hey- Rumi-!”

“Come on, show me what's got you smiling like that! Haven't seen you smile so much in a while!”

“For someone who is japanese you sure don't know manners-”

“Hush hush, you! We’re not even in Japan. I don't need to be overly polite.”

“You were never polite.” “To you maybe.”

“What is that supposed to me-”

Before he can finish his sentence, Arumi reaches out to grab his phone. Running a few paces away.

“Hehe!”

“Hey- My phone! Arumi!”

“I won't give it back until you tell me!”

“You could just read it.”

“Are you giving me permission?”

“No.” “Then I won't. But I will still hold your phone hostage.”

“That doesn't make it better!”

“Come on Tetsu! Tell me!”

“Why are you so interested-”

“Your smile is making my eyes bleed. You're basically glowing with happiness! I need to know why!”

“Oh, hush.”

“Hey- that's my line!”

“Hm… Okay, if you tell me what you meant by ‘To you maybe.’ I might tell you why I’m smiling.”

“You might? Come on, that's a bad trade!”

“It's the only deal you're getting. What's it going to be?”

“Fine, I’ll tell you. Not like it was a secret.”

“You know how our first impressions didn't go so well? Yeah, I just decided there and then that since you already saw me like that, and you seemed to dislike me anyway, I might as well be myself.”

“Usually it would be flattering to hear ‘I’m only myself when around you.’ but our situation was anything but.”

“Yeah. Kinda funny though. But! Now it's positive! I could never be myself around the others. Well, maybe except for him.”

“He's not exactly from Japan either, so it would make sense he'd be more relaxed about the rules. Though, whenever I was around, you didn't seem to care that the others were too.”

“To be fair you were very provocative. And hey, isn't he from here? Man, I wish he came with us…”

“Next time.”

“Hopefully! If he can make time for his best drinking friend.”

“You guys drank like sailors about to die.”

“Well we did die the next day so it's not exactly wrong.”

Tetsuo smiles to himself, she always gets distracted so easily. It's nice to talk but he needs his phone back.

She was about to say something more when he reaches out and snags back his phone.

“Owa-!”

“Haha! I got it.”

“Hey!!! That's not fair!”

“It's called revenge. You should've guarded it better.”

“Ugh. If you didn’t look so happy I’d have punched you by now.”

“You know what will happen if you do that.”

“Yeah, not feeling like grappling you again when we’re in public, thanks.”

“Mhm-!”

Arumi lets out a choked gasp-grunt. Seeing Tetsuo on his phone, AGAIN.

“Tetsuo!!! You can't do this to me!”

“... Hm?”

“Look, I don't mind you texting, you look happy and I'm happy for you, but can you at least respond to me?”

“... Sorry Rumi… Give me a moment.”

She pouts, then sighs, seeing that he was not going to stop any time soon.

“Whatever, let’s just go.”

“Mhm.”

“Thought you wanted to see the sights here.”

“I do.”

“Then look around!”

“I am.”

“No you're not! I can see you're not!”

“Mm.”

“Ugh. Tell your lover I said hi or something.”

“Yeah I will- Wait! How did you know? Did you actually peek?”

“What-”

“What do you mean what?”

“It was… Just a joke.”

“WAIT SO THAT'S WHAT IT WAS!”

“Ah, damn.”

“You have a lover? Why wouldn't you tell me? Afraid your girl-friend would be jealous?”

“No. I was afraid of you having more things to tease me about.”

“Eh, close enough. Come on! What's their name? When did you meet?”

“Ngh...”

“You're not escaping me Tetsu! You have to tell me everything!”

“Ughn…”

“Oh hush, don't be dramatic! As your best friend forever, you're legally obligated to tell me about it.”

”C’mon Mily! You can do it!” Towa cheered the little baby ”Say « Towa ».”

”Oo.. Owa…Owa!” The baby babbled.

”Almost!” Riku said, with his girlfriend between his arms.

”She was close though. You’re doing great!” She told the little Hanyou in her arms.

These two just couldn’t leave Mily alone ever since they met her, she instantly became their little puppy ”Oh Kami why are you so cute?” Towa cooed by nuzzling Mily.

”and happy? You’re always smiling.” Riku followed by rubbing her round, little cheek.

”Can I hold her?”

”Of course.”

She turned around and gave him the little girl as he carefully held her against his shoulder, he never got the chance to interact with babies and with Orion it was different because he’s quarter human so he was already pretty autonomous for his age so to him, this was completely new and would’ve never thought he’d love it so much. Little Mily then grabbed his coat and pulled his hair ”Ow! Hey!”

”Haha! She definitely likes you, Riku.” Towa said ”You guys are so precious!”

”Iku! Iku!” Mily cooed, his hair in her hand.

”Okay! Okay! I get it Mily, let me go!” He ordered with a smile by grabbing her hand ”You little rascal!”

As he held her in front of him, he noticed that the way she grinned reminded him of someone, someone he loves very much ”Riku? You okay?” She asked, seeing his daydreaming face.

”Yeah… Just, look at her, smiling all the time, being curious about everything around her… It’s so precious.” He answered by nuzzling the baby.

Towa’s look softened up by looking at them before getting closer to them, joining the hug. Their embrace was so warm and soft, it felt so nice ”You know what Riku?”

”What?”

”You’d be a great dad.” She whispered, making him blush.

”… Not as wonderful as you’d be as a mom, lady Towa.”

As they cuddled, Mily looked at them curiously ”R-Rrrr…” She babbled.

”What is it, little one?” The princess asked.

”Riku…” She finished making the pirate blush.

”Oh my god! She said your name!” Towa almost screamed.

”T…T… Towa, wady Towa…”

”This is so cute.” Riku said softly.

”You smarty pants, you precious lil’ smartypants.” Towa cooed by hugging them both.

At first he didn’t really care too much about Y/n. He didn’t bother himself with teachers, or people who worked with small children in general because it simply didn’t interest him, and if he had a dime for every time a child got scared and cried because his “jester attire” made them scared, then he’d have exaclty 40 cents. Which isn’t a lot, but enough to matter

Although when he saw their ability, and the way that they laid him the business with their “no nonsense” attitude made him very aroused, intrigued. They showed little to no fear when around this manic magician

Hisoka would stop by whenever Y/n was on their lunch break, or just after school in general, swinging his legs over the window as he made his entrance, sneaking up behind them at their office chair and holding a card playfully to their neck. “Chéri~” he would whisper tenderly.

Y/n jokingly offered Hisoka to teach their students nen.. but, he doesn’t care for “snot nosed brats” as he puts it.

He had gotten into heated fights with the principal for always sneaking into the school to meet with Y/n, but Hisoka always comes back of course, nobody can separate him from his beloved.

Illumi never had teachers growing up, and was tutored either by his parents, or people that they hired. He knew what schools were, of course, but he doesn’t have a good grasp about what it’s like. So when Y/n mentions that they’re a teacher he’s like, “Of what? Nen?”

One day while Illumi went out to bring Y/n some lunch as they requested, he walked in on them while they were teaching a class, he was confused about why there were so many kids in the same room together. Isn’t teaching supposed to be one on one? He thought.

Y/n loved Illumi’s professional attitude at first, but then they found out exactly why he was so cold and “sophisticated”, they were shocked. They’ve definitely helped kids who were in terrible situations at home.. so they were down to help Illumi as well, even if he was far too stubborn to realize everything his parents have put him and his siblings through.

However, this relationship gets sour quickly. Y/n gets along with Killua and Alluka fairly well, and this is what drove Illumi and them apart. They were trying to get Killua away from the family instead of bringing him to them, which was something Illumi couldn’t have, if Y/n were to be his partner, they should obey his family as well.

If Y/n manages to convince Illumi his parents are the bad guys, then there is some hope.. but if Illumi is far to lost in the delusion that his parents are always right and “family first” then another enemy is added to both of their lists.

When Chrollo found out Y/n was a teacher, he was thrilled!! He loves teachers, and loves the knowledge that they hold, especially the all of the knowledge and experience they get from dealing with students 24/7.

He loves teaching a bit himself, whenever he comes to visit and Y/n just happens to be teaching a class, he’ll probably start up a discussion about philosophy or ancient civilizations, or mythology if that ever comes into question. Chrollo just loves sharing whatever knowledge he has, especially when excited young minds are actually interested.

Y/n’s students grow a liking to their boyfriend, Chrollo a lot. He’s a fun guy to discuss things about and he gets along with the students pretty well. They told him about how much the students love whenever he stops by, and Y/n even asked him if he wanted to be a teacher as well.

As much as Chrollo loves philosophy, and appreciates the art of teaching, his “lifestyle” will heavily prevent him from being a teacher, or a “good role model” at that. He’s self aware, he knows what he does isn’t good.

He’d rather just be “Mr/Ms/Mx L/n’s cool boyfriend” that stops by every once in a while to have interesting convos with. Plus, he’s just happy to be with such an intelligent, strong person.

Ninomiya Sontoku (Born Ninomiya Kinjiro 1787 - 1856) was an important agrarian reformer in Japan who is revered as a symbol of self-education. Bronze statues of him as a young boy, carrying firewood on his back and reading a book, are found in many schools all over Japan. Their intended purpose is to serve as an inspiration to children to learn independently and improve themselves.
