As the new flowers in Hell were starting to bloom, Jikan couldn’t stop observing them from a high peak. This realm was finally a comfortable and wonderful place to live…if you were a demon. He was never able to enjoy life as its fullest until he met Nymir, the demon that saved him from his previous…incarnation. He wished he could stay here all day but work had to be done and his break was over. When he came back in front of his office, right when he was about to enter, he was interrupted by the queen of Hell, Lilith herself. She was concerned about something.

- Hi Lilith. Is something the matter? (Jikan)

- Can you come with me? We have a situation in the Purgatory. (Lilith)

- Of course. Show me the way. (Jikan)

The duo reached the Purgatory. It was as full as always. It was there that mortal souls went once they died in the mortal realm. After that, it was decided whether or not they could go in Heaven, Hell or simply starting a new life in the mortal realm. Time had no meaning in this place. So, even though it was crowded, it never felt like billions of souls were there in the same time. Just hundreds of souls at a time.

Jikan followed Lilith as they were approaching two familiar faces; Ennor, the leader of the demons and also the one in charge in the Purgatory, and Sybil, an angel Jikan met when he was working on the Purgatory’s documents and archives.  Both of them were taking care of a young mortal soul. It was a child from what Jikan could tell. Ennor noticed Jikan and Lilith.

- Hello Boss, hello Jikan. Thank you for joining us. We have a problem with that little punk. (Ennor)

- You didn’t precise what was the problem but you asked me to bring Jikan. It is done, what’s going on? (Lilith)

As soon as she asked that question, Ennor looked at Sybil with a worrying face…which was unusual. Ennor was rarely worried unless it was very important. Sybil was also worried and was the one to speak.

- We don’t get why but…this mortal soul…this kid must be sent to Hell. (Sybil)

- WHAT?! (Lilith and Jikan)

- We reacted the same way when we received her document and soul. (Ennor)

- Can you give me the document? (Lilith)

While Lilith was looking at the kid’s afterlife document, Jikan approached her with a big comforting smile and with some flowers he kept from his break. He wanted to add them in his office but he didn’t have the time. In the meantime, the kid wasn’t afraid, she was also smiling.

- What’s your name? (Jikan)

- My name is Katie-Rose! You are a demon too? You look super-duper cute! Miss Ennor and miss Sybil were sweet to me. They gave me a hot chocolate and some biscuits. Even if they told me I don’t need to eat or drink for now, it was delicious! (Katie-Rose)

- You have such a cute and name Katie-Rose. You…you understand where you are, right? (Jikan)

- Oh gosh I do! But I didn’t expect to meet such lovely people after I passed away, I’m sad for my friends but it seems I’m meeting new ones! Do you want to be my friend? (Katie-Rose)

- That would be my pleasure! (Jikan)

- You have flowers! Can I take them? I will make us flower crowns! As a symbol of our friendship! (Katie-Rose)

- Can’t wait to wear mine! (Jikan)

While Jikan was keeping her busy, Ennor, Sybil and Lilith were studying Katie-Rose’s case. The worst part was it made no sense.

- I don’t understand, she died of cancer, a dangerous and awful mortal illness. And there is nothing in her backstory to suggest she should go to Hell. Actually, she has all the requirements to go to Heaven and she even has the possibility to become an angel. Why does it say she must go to Hell?! And even for…” bad” kids, they don’t go in the same areas in Hell as the adult souls. Is it a mistake when her soul was registered? Can’t we fix it? (Lilith)

- We tried, I contacted the archangels and even them agree it can only be a misunderstanding or an error somewhere. Last time that such thing happened, it was with the Gardener. From that point, we upgraded the system so such thing shouldn’t be possible! (Sybil)

- The little punk…have you read all her backstory? She is…I never met such a kind and sweet soul in years. Last one was…Jikan. (Ennor)

- What if…(Sybil)

- Yes, Sybil? Do you have an idea? (Lilith)

- From what I heard from Colan, Vylixia and Ennor, Hell became quite liveable and even a great place to live for demons. (Sybil)

- That’s true but where are you going with it?  (Sybil)

- What if They decided to reward all the demons by adding more kind souls in the mix? What if…like Jikan, the demons could get more and more kindness in their lives? Coming from outsiders, from kind mortals transforming into demons? (Sybil)

- You want to make that tiny punk, a demon? I mean, now that I think of it, the population of demon kids are so low and most of the kids are being protected from the adult demons. Maybe it’s time to diverse our activities and show our kind what it means to enjoy life…and not only from just hedonist activities. Becoming a parent was one of the best things in my eternity. Perhaps it’s time for each demon to fill some gaps. (Ennor)

The trio looked at Jikan and Katie-Rose, both of them were laughing and wearing some flower crowns. The human kid couldn’t stay in one place, she was energic and quite happy despite the circumstances.

- She could also help here. We have trouble with the youngest souls. Most of them are scared and panic when they realise where they are. Even the young angels are not enough to deal with them. A soul like her could be a good opportunity. (Sybil)

The queen of Hell sighed deeply. She didn’t like too much this situation. However, they had valid points. With a determined yet caring energy, she joined Jikan and Katie-Rose. The young soul noticed Lilith and offered her a flower crown.

- You get one too! You are a beautiful lady! (Katie-Rose)

- Thank you, sweetie~ (Lilith)

Lilith wore the crown with a smile. Then, she tried to be at Katie-Rose’s height to speak to her. With a neutral yet mature voice, she explained to the kid what was going to happen to her. Everything. Katie-Rose listened to Lilith carefully and with attention. When Lilith finished, she was expecting the worst reaction…

- Does it mean I can make flower crowns for other demons? I will have my own horns and tail! That’s so cool! Oh gosh, can I stay with Jikan? He is my new friend! That’s so exciting! (Katie-Rose)

The Queen was taken back by her reaction but she smiled in a motherly way. She caressed Katie-Rose’s hair. On the other hand, Jikan was smiling and happy a solution was found.

- Are you ready? I promise it’s painless. (Lilith)

The kid nodded but she still held Jikan’s hand while the queen was focusing. Suddenly, Katie-Rose felt both the same and different at the same time. Two horns and a tail appeared; her eyes changed slightly too. But what was curious was that some flowers were also present on her horns and tails. Lilith had never seen such thing before. Maybe Katie-Rose’s soul was manifesting itself through the flowers. Jikan created a mirror so she could look at her new form.

- Oh gosh, I look super-duper cool! I love it! (Katie-Rose)

- I’m glad, Nymir, Ennor and Jikan will be your caretakers until you reach your adulthood if that’s okay. (Lilith)

- That works for me! (Jikan)

- MORE FRIENDS! YES! BEST DAY EVER! (Katie-Rose)

She was running everywhere around the group. That was…a sweet thing to watch. Then she took a posture and made a sign to Jikan.

- Let’s go and bring joy! (Katie-Rose)

And now Lilith thought that maybe they would have to change their realm if such situations kept happening…which pleased her like the day she found Jeff.

On one of the discord servers I’m in, we had the pleasant time to share a few ideas between Jikan and Katie-Rose resulting in the creation of demon Katie-Rose! It gave me inspiration to write this! Ariana: Iruichi once told me about this series. She said that it's pretty confusing and very specific for some people. Well, if talking about me, I'm not into it, but I agree, some dresses are nice.

Lineage and Ancestry (Part 2)

There was a moment of silence. Lea kept feeling this familiar sensation as she knew somehow deep down who that demon was. She couldn’t find her words…she wasn’t sure what all of that meant. It was the demon who broke the silence and invited Lea to sit on the ledge of the fountain.

- Please Lea. Join me and sit next to me. (Shanya)

- Okay miss Shanya. Colan and Vylixia told me that it was time for me to have some answers but I’m not certain why they said that. Is everything fine? Am I trouble? (Lea)

- You are not sweetie. (Shanya)

The demon looks around makes a sign towards Ennor, Colan and Vylixia. They three understood and left them alone. Shanya sighed deeply and then stared at Lea with a humble and kind expression. She put her hand on Lea’s cheek, caressing it. Lea blushed but also felt warm and comfortable.

- You have their eyes, freckles and hair colour. Even after all this time. It’s amazing how genetics work. (Shanya)

- Miss Shanya? I don’t get it…(Lea)

- I think you do. What does your heart and soul tell you right now? (Shanya)

- It’s like we are…related? (Lea)

Shanya nodded and removed her hand from Lea’s cheek. Afterwards, she held Lea’s hands softly and smiled at her with teary eyes.

- I’m…your ancestor Lea. It’s unexpected but it’s the truth. We demons are master of lies and deceptions so our truths are more trustworthy than the ones from angels. Ironic in a way. (Shanya)

Lea was shocked and didn’t know what to say. Many questions were flooding inside her mind. She was trembling slightly. Her ancestor reacted directly and used her healing abilities to calm Lea down.

- Even if you are my…ancestor…why me? Why contacting me and not my parents, grandparents? (Lea)

- It’s…complicated and quite the long story. Will you allow me to share it? It will make sense why you are here today. (Shanya)

- I’m…okay…I’m listening. (Lea)

Shanya first played with the fountain’s water like she tried to remember something…a different time.

- Centuries ago…I did something. At that time, you can consider it a mistake. I fell in love with a human. Sure, demons always made contracts with humans and mortals for millennia. However, we always did our best to stay professional. As I did…for as much as I could remember. But that man…he was incredible. It was just a regular contract. We were supposed to have fun for quite some time and in the end, I was taking a part of his soul. He wouldn’t end up in Hell. Your religions and your beliefs have a misconception about us. (Shanya)

- What sends us here then? I mean our souls. (Lea)

- Bad actions and choices. In the past, it was easy. Angels didn’t really check every detail of people’s lives. Mistakes were made…no one is omniscient. Nowadays, each life, each soul is studying at its core before what to do with it. Whether it’s Hell, Heaven, Purgatory or something else. It requires both sides. Angels and Demons work together. Anyway, back to the reason you are here. (Shanya)

- Yes. So, you met a mortal? (Lea)

- After some time, when our contract was about to be over, he…fell in love with me. The thing is…mortals can only develop physical attraction…not real loving feelings…except if the succubus or the incubus developed them first. Usually, it’s not a big deal. The succubus or the incubus ends the contract early explaining the situation and says goodbye. However, there was a catch…I…got pregnant. (Shanya)

Suddenly, Shanya let a little tear coming from one of her eyes. Lea panicked a bit and quickly cleaned her ancestor’s cheek. Shanya smiled again.

- Thank you, my child. (Shanya)

- If I’m here today…you had to give birth. What happened? (Lea)

- I consulted our leaders…King Lucifer and Queen Lilith. They were both frightened and worried. You need to keep in mind that there never was any hybrid before…Actually no, there was one but it didn’t end well…Hybrids are...were forbidden back then. Lucifer and Lilith had to contact the Archangels. They were…categoric. Mostly Gabriel. (Shanya)

- The solution proposed wasn’t…the best. (Lea)

- It was…at that time it was…(Shanya)

The demon took a long and deep breath. Lea held Shanya’s hands tighter to ease her ancestor as much as possible.

- After I gave birth to my son…I had to erase my lover’s memories and to modify them. Then, Lilith helped me to shut down the half demon part of my son. That way, he could live as a “normal” human and not inherit our powers and immortality. And we also made sure the demon part couldn’t be inherited to my son’s children and descendance. I left them all alone. (Shanya)

- I’m so sorry miss Shanya. (Lea)

Lea hugged Shanya tightly and pet her ancestor’s back slowly and kindly.

- Once my lover died…I requested to see his soul to restore his memories and to explain to him everything. He was…upset. He understood but his sadness was…as clear as water. He chose the reincarnation option and told me his farewell for the last time. I did the same with my son…he was definitely angry and disappointed. We talked for hours as he freed himself from his anger and sadness as well. Finally, he cried, gave me a big hug and also chose the reincarnation option. After that I moved on and didn’t want to look for my descendance…Until you came along…until you started to exist…(Shanya)

- But why? What makes me different? (Lea)

And once again, there was a moment for these questions…like the demon didn’t wish to answer them. After a few more seconds, Shanya caressed Lea’s cheek one more time.

- In fact, even if we did shut down the demon part, it was still inherited through the children. It was dormant and it should not have been awakened. That changed when you were borned. Did you never notice that you could heal slightly faster than a regular human? Or your muscles, look how they are today? Or more precisely what happened during the road trip? (Shanya)

- Before the road trip, I never thought of that. I believed I got lucky for my injuries and that my efforts paid off for my muscles. (Lea)

- Your efforts did I would say eighty percent of the job. The rest is…thanks to your demon legacy. (Shanya)

- Damn that’s…I don’t have the proper words for it. (Lea)

- That’s also thanks to your demon legacy that you survived the attempted murder while your parents didn’t… (Shanya)

is it not too difficult for the humans characters to be with angel and demon? especially demon. and do angels and demons reproduce?

Actually, it is! For both the human and the angel/demon XD

In our universe, the only known human-angel romantic relationship that is going to start is between Tom and Sybil! (Also maybe Iris and Gabriel) They will need to take many factors into account (like mortality/immortality, duties of the species, the backlash from the angels, etc. + obviously classic ups and downs of a romantic relationship) XD I forgot about Chris and Anoli XD but they don’t have as many issues as the rest of the couples because Anoli was a human being before. It’s a very stable, healthy and lovely relationship ^^ the main issue they have is that Anoli is immortel while Chris is not so they will need to talk about it in the future ^^

As for the romantic relationships human-demon, I can't speak for all of them but I can say that Lilith (despite her being the Queen of Hell) is hiding insecure feelings towards Jeff. She...has outbursts of anger sometimes but she tries to have those in a hell's wasteland. She is scared that she can scare Jeff too much for him to handle (plus considering she already had no choice but make him immortal without his consent...). They love each other a lot but Lilith doesn't want to ruin anything because of who she is. Little did she know, Jeff actually loves her for everything she is or represents ^^. He knows deep inside of her is a wonderful being. For Liya and Axel, fortunately Liya was human before so they two have less trouble. The main issue would be that Liya's past life is very sad so maybe it could be the topic of some heavy chats. Liya also enjoys her new life as a demon XD she loves being one XD it makes things very spicy for both of them XD. For Lea, Vylixia and Colan, it's linked to your second question. Let's just say it's certainly a stable romantic relationship ^^. They all three love each other and they want to be as happy as possible together ^^

Your second question ^^

Angels tend to not reproduce much because they focus a lot on duties and keeping the universe balance as they know an angel child is an eternal being. Resources are not unlimited so they are precautious about reproduction among them.

As for the demons, it's tredemendously different. They are super chaotic and hedonistic by nature. They believe they can be awful parents and taking care of children is not something they think they can do. Only recently, they have started to reproduce more thanks to the rebuild of Hell for demons. Furthermore, the most stable, honorable, respectful and careful demons are the ones who reproduce (that's why Lea, Colan and Vylixia work as a relationship because Colan and Vylixia's parents are this type of demons). The others tend to take notes and watch how it goes for those who reproduce.

In summary, angels overwork and not think too much of bonding and having children. Demons believe their nature prevent them from having healthy and well-educated children.

The Road Trip (Final Part)

The two humans were facing each angel. The tension was rising as nobody was making a move yet. They were observing each opponent in silence. At this point, all of them knew that a bad move could provoke a disaster with their tremendous powers. The humans were very angry at the two angels. How could they act like this? Shouldn’t they be able to keep their cool instead of menacing and hurting their friends?

Fortunately, or unfortunately, Sybil felt that she, Vylixia and Colan would be free soon from their electric immobilisation. In enough time, they would be capable of turning the tide of this confrontation and putting an end to it.

- You don’t want to do this. You can’t win this. Stay down, we will leave. (Beyana)

- Your boss was right. The universe has lost its balance. These two humans are disgusting. Such power shouldn’t be allowed. (Zakum)

Tom and Lea turned their faces to look at each other before looking in the direction of their friends. The energy flowing through their bodies, their veins.

- That is an unfair fight incoming. (Lea)

- For them. (Tom)

Suddenly they exchanged their positions as Tom used the power of Mjöllnir to project himself towards Zakum while on the other hand Lea sprinted at her new maximum speed, ready to punch Beyana’s face. Zakum and Beyana had barely the time to block them with their weapons.

Tom swung the hammer and hit the angel’s face hard as dark clouds were created above the angel. The human yelled as the thunder and the lightning struck Zakum. He screamed in pain.

Lea grabbed Beyana’s arm when the angel blocked her punch with her bow. The human slammed the angel on the ground and punched violently on the stomach. Beyana groaned and kicked Lea to move freely.

It was clear the humans had the upper hand for now. That beginning impressed and scared Vylixia, Colan and Sybil. The angels were holding back compared to the humans. If they went all out, their friends would be in grave danger. Sybil was the first to stop being paralysed. She quickly summoned her spear and joined Tom. Zakum was already back on his feet and was forcing Tom to dodge and block his attacks. Sybil jumped right away and Zakum had no choice but to step back as the spear cut his cheek, making him bleed. Now Tom and Sybil were facing together Zakum.

- Sybil! How dare you betraying me this much? Why are you like this towards this human? And you! Why are you so bold and impudent to a higher being as me! (Zakum)

Both of them stared at him and somehow freed their hearts from a certain burden.

- That’s because I love her! (Tom)

- That’s because I love him! (Sybil)

- What?! (Zakum, Tom and Sybil)

Tom and Sybil blushed while Zakum was furious. They recomposed themselves and both of them charged the angel.

Meanwhile Lea was slowly losing control of her new found powers, she was getting tired by the minute. She panted hardly and reversed to her “normal” self. She couldn’t move much. It seemed the power was too much on her body. She felt she could collapse at any moment. The angel noticed it.

- I’m going to shoot you. It’s going to hurt but your life won’t be in danger. (Beyana)

- Fuck you…(Lea)

As they were seeing their human friend being in trouble, Colan and Vylixia greeted their teeth and were getting furious. Like Sybil, they were going to be free but they needed a plan to help Lea. Colan looked at Vylixia and whispered to her.

- At my signal, fire at her with everything you have. (Colan)

- What will the signal be? (Vylixia)

- Don’t worry~ You will recognise it very easily~ (Colan)

The demon took a deep breathe and focused. He put his hands right in front of him and yelled.

- HEY ANGEL! LEAVE HER ALONE! (Colan)

As Beyana changed the direction of her face, three chains appeared from the ground around her and trapped the angel. Sybil quickly saw the chains and smirked while Beyana was surprised.

- Wait! That’s your mom’s ability! I thought she was the only one in Hell capable of using it! (Vylixia)

- She began to teach about it a few weeks ago but more on that later! Now! (Colan)

Vylixia charged up a fire ball and threw it at the angel. She didn’t have time to dodge or block it, she took it and once the smoke disappeared, she was injured but not too much.

- Okay this is it; I’m going to end you all! Zakum with me! Let’s finish…

- Enough! (???)

Suddenly…everyone stopped fighting and searched the localisation of the new voice. It came from a girl with bandages on her. Beyana sighed and came closer to her.

-What are you doing here, Nora? (Beyana)

- Our boss sent me to retrieve you and our new ally. You don’t wish to piss her off. (Nora)

The angel swallowed and sighed once again.

- I guess if we kept on fighting, we would draw the attention of higher people. Fair. Zakum, come with us. (Beyana)

- But I want…(Zakum)

- Trust me. You don’t want to see your new boss angry. Let’s go. (Beyana)

Zakum joined Nora and Beyana as they were teleported away from this place and the group. All of them were exhausted. They checked on each other. Everyone was hopefully fine. They all sit on the grass and breathed deeply several times. What a day it was.

- That is not how I imagined the end of the road trip. (Tom)

- Me neither. By the way, you owe me a pizza Vylixia~ (Colan)

- Dammit! (Vylixia)

- You two made a bet on our feelings…right? (Sybil)

- Of course, we did~ (Colan and Vylixia)

Tom blushed really hard while Sybil just sighed as the two demons were laughing.

-  We…will talk about it at home. Is it good for you? (Sybil)

- S…Sure! (Tom)

- Guys…what the hell happened to me now that it’s calm…I mean, what I did was inhuman and not normal…(Lea)

- Yeah, about that…(Colan)

- Let’s also talk about it at home too. (Vylixia)

The group was now trying to find some rest. Suddenly, they could watch the hammer flying away, probably returning to its true owner.

Many kilometres away from the group, the hammer finally landed in hand of someone. That person was smiling.

- Could you trace the energy from the teleportation? (Thor)

- Are you doubting my powers dear brother? Of course, I could~ Though, it only gave a general direction. Let me remind you that we are tracking the second most powerful being in the universe. She is certainly able to cover her power. (Loki)

- We will need a way to travel through the universe to track her down. It’s time to pay a visit to another friend of mine! (Thor)

- Thor. I have a question. The boy. Was he worthy? Or did you allow him to lift your hammer and so wield your power? (Nhilus)

Thor looked at Nhilus and laughed very loudly. Loki rolled her eyes.

- I prefer that point to be a mystery~ However, he wanted to help his friends and was brave enough to stand up against incredible beings. I just gave him a little push to help them~ (Thor)

Demonic Streamers

The sky was getting darker as the day was disappearing to be replaced by the dark starry night. The weather was perfect to hang out outside, to go to parties and to get drunk before passing out on a friend’s couch. Or…just opening the computer and starting a stream for people to watch from home. That was also a possibility. And that was exactly what Colan and Vylixia had in mind.

Both of them had now access to the stream platform and decided to create an account for fun. At the big surprise of Lea, they were already having a reputation. It was nice enough to earn some money from the stream platform. And tonight, it was the good time to start a stream. Funny enough and for entertaining purposes, they were using their true real demonic forms. Humans believed it was fake and just for show.

- Hello there my sweet humans, it’s your boy C~ (Colan)

- And your best girl V~ (Vylixia)

- The demonic streamers are back again for a spicy and evil stream~ (Colan and Vylixia)

- And what will we do today V? (Colan)

- Easy my dear C~ We are going to play a competitive fighting game! It’s a caritative stream! Ninety percent of your donations will go directly to the association for alone children~ The money will be used for better food, shelters and more gifts~ (Vylixia)

- Wait, we are taking ten percent of it? That’s so evil~ (Colan)

- That’s because we are the demonic streamers~ Don’t hesitate to ask questions~ Now let’s play~ (Vylixia)

They both launched the game and began to play online. For the first hour everything was going well. Suddenly, they were playing against skilled players which unnerved the two demons. As they were slowly losing and losing, Colan and Vylixia got very angry and yelled at the game with their less “human” tone.

- We are the demonic streamers; we can find you and teleport at your home to kick your butt! (Colan)

- You don’t mess with us demons! (Vylixia)

The best moment of the stream for the viewers, they absolutely loved when C and V used some “fake” effects like fire coming from their mouths and noses or when their “fake” horns getting bigger. The best show. C and V were exaggerating their anger for the sake of the stream but not this time…which was super fun and enjoyable for the viewers.

Donations kept coming and coming. They were able to receive 70 000 $ for the association. The rest was for them. When it was time to end the stream, Colan and Vylixia ended up laughing.

- Thank you so much guys for all the donations~ We will give you an update of the association with proofs and photos of the money being used for the kids~ (Colan)

- For those who asked where is the funny buff girl, she was working and she is probably sleeping at the moment but we will tell that you all miss her~ (Vylixia)

Once they switched off the computers, they joined Lea in the bedroom who was already sleeping. They both laid down on each side of Lea. Both of them caressed her hair

- After the road trip, Lea never mentioned again what happened with her. Glad our streams were helping us to distract ourselves. (Colan)

- Yeah, but Sybil is right. We need to bring her to Shanya so she can have the answers to her questions. (Vylixia)

- For now, let’s just enjoy our time~ (Colan)

- Agree~ (Vylixia)

Both of them kissed each other before kissing Lea’s cheeks. They could join the realm of dreams in peace for the time being.
