Daily update post:
You might have seen me mentioning before the Palestinian Authority's "Pay for Slay" policy, where they pay Palestinian terrorists based on how deadly their attacks have been. Let me share something even worse: based on the Oslo peace accords from the 1990's, Israel collects the Palestinian tax money, and then passes it along to the PA. Which means, when Israel became aware of the "Pay for Slay" law (yes, turns out that it's a LAW, not just a program, that the Palestinian Authority pays terrorists... the same PA that now has the audacity to claim at the International court in Hague that Israel is committing a genocide, meaning the intentional destruction of, or a part of, a nation... I think a LAW that financially incentivizes terrorists to kill members of the Israeli nation fits), it also realized that Israeli authorities, paying with Israeli tax payer money for the work done by Israeli clerks tasked with doing this, has been collecting and passing along money that goes to pay Palestinian terrorists for having attacked, injured and murdered Israelis. In what world is that right? In what world is it moral to make a victim, through a "peace accord" participate in the payment to its victimizer? As part of the money collected by Israel and given to the PA, an annual 278 million dollars (!) are then passed by it to Palestinian terrorists for hurting and killing Israelis. The PA has already added Oct 7 terrorists, most of them Hamas members, to the list of those being paid thanks to the "Pay for Slay" law.
Tumblr media
The annual payment was revealed thanks to a lawsuit by the parents of 26 years old Dalia Lemkus, who was stabbed to death in Nov 2014 by a Palestinian terrorist (he also injured 2 others. Dalia herself had survived a previous terrorist attack in 2006. On the day she was murdered, another Israeli was killed in a separate terrorist attack. I don't think most people realize just how intense Palestinian terrorism is). The lawsuit was filed against the PA, which has been paying him 3,300 dollars a month. This is Dalia, may her memory be a blessing:
Tumblr media
I'm not gonna lie, I'm thinking about the fact that coincidentally, I've been at our Holocaust museum and education center since Nov 2014, with the purpose of helping to educate against antisemitism, racism, homophobia, every other type of generalized hatred that humans are capable of, and against genocide, which is the possible consequence of that type of hate. And a part of what's wrong with this world, is that even with me being a "veteran," I get paid less money a month than that Palestinian terrorist does for having murdered a Jewish woman based on that kind of generalized hatred. My income depends on how many tours, lectures or workshops I did that month, but in almost 10 years of working there, I have never had a month where I got a salary of 3,300 dollars, most months I don't make it to half of that, and I have had many months where my salary was zero (during Covid, and whenever the security situation is bad enough that no one comes to our museum). Don't get me wrong, I consciously made a choice to do this work, where my salary would be very low, because I wanted to do something meaningful, I'm not complaining, but I can't help thinking about the fact that a part of why antisemitism thrives, is because it IS socially and financially rewarded, clearly more so than fighting it. That was true before and during the Holocaust, and sadly has been true since as well.
I would love to understand how the evacuation of civilian Gazans out of the war zone is described as "ethnic cleansing" or worse, but not the evacuation of Ukrainian civilians out of those war zones, and not the evacuation of a Hamas-affiliated Al Jazeera "journalist" (who documented himself in southern Israel during Hamas' massacre), taken out of Gaza to Egypt, to be flown from there to Qatar, one of the two great financiers of Hamas (along with Iran). Qatar has not opened up its gates to wounded Gazan civilians. It's clear Ismail Abu Omar was given this special treatment precisely because he is a Hamas terrorist. What's scary about this possibility is that the IDF didn't know he was smuggled out of Gaza, begging the question, who else is Hamas smuggling out? Also, this is Hamas' middle finger to anyone claiming Gaza is closed off, and an open air prison or concentration camp...
Tumblr media
Speaking of Qatar, it is currently hosting the swimming world championship. Israeli swimmer Anastasia Gorbenko won a silver medal, a huge Israeli achievement, but she got repeatedly booed by the crowd, including during the medals ceremony. Anastasia has a childhood classmate who is currently held hostage in Gaza. She dedicated her medal to him.
youtube
A TV report by an Israeli journalist (source in Hebrew) is about a Hamas document dated May 2023, which the IDF found, the summary of a Hamas leaders meeting. It details some of the considerations for the timing of "the big project," listing 4 Jewish holidays as possibilities for the massacre (including Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish year, and Simchat Torah, when the massacre actually took place), so it's clear Hamas was always going to use our holy days against us. Another thing mentioned is that Hamas must strike before Israel deploys Magen Or (literally: shield of light, but most publications in English refer to it as Iron Beam), the laser-based defense system meant to complement Iron Dome. The system has been making a lot of progress, enough that by Oct 2023 there have been reports on it becoming operational soon. The document mentions making Israel used to Hamas conducting large scale exercises close to the border, so that the commotion ahead of the massacre wouldn't look abnormal, and it also mentions making use of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the second biggest Palestinian terrorist organization in Gaza. It wasn't included in the plans, but was being relied on. In recent years, all of Israel's operations in Gaza have been against PIJ, and Hamas chose not to join them, the document indicates that this was done in order to reinforce the idea in Israel that Hamas is more interested in the wellfare of Gazans, than in killing Israelis. At the same time, the document warns not to let PIJ fuck up Hamas' planned operation.
I did not write about the private initiative of family members to send medications through international mediators to Hamas, meant for the hostages, for the simple reason that I did not for a second believe Hamas would give the hostages these meds. I didn't wanna get my hopes up, when logically, I was sure such initiatives were futile. Now, thanks to the IDF's operation in the Nasser hospital in Khan Younis, we have confirmation that these meds were found in its pharmacy, with the names of the hostages on the unopened boxes, meaning the kidnapped Israelis never got them. We can assume the meds were kept in the hospital pharmacy, either to serve Hamas terrorists, or to be sold, with the money going to Hamas.
Tumblr media
This is Matan ben Ari, the last Israeli injured on Oct 7 (out of thousands) to be discharged from the hospital on Dec 1, almost two full months after Hamas' massacre. People spontaneously gathered around to applaud him as he was making his way out:

Till' death do us apart.
Pairing: Angel Y/n x Alastor Fandom: Hazbin Hotel Warning: Biblical nonsense. :}
Masterlist –– Next chapter
So this was caused by the absolute brain rot my love for the series has given me, 40% of the text I got it from the transcript of the first episode Overture, and Michael's text was brought by Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light, shoutout to the creator. It's a one time thing as to bring this sort of prologue.
As always, the characters mostly belong to Vivienne Medrano, and it is a fanfiction with no intention of offending anyone.
Tumblr media
Prologue
At the beginning, Heaven rose from the light of creation, it´s golden glow soon was to be known though out existence. It was ruled by beings of pure light, Angels that worshiped good and shielded the world from all evil.
Samael was one of the first angels. He was a dreamer with delusional ideas for all of creation, for this, he was seen as a menace. The elders of Heaven were brought to the conclusion that his way of thinking was dangerous to the order of their world.
The straw that broke the camel's back was when its creation, the forbidden fruit was placed in the hands of a mortal woman, this made the high command make the decision to banish Samael from heaven, causing the creation of the demonic place known years later as Hell.
The word 'Hell' was derived from an Anglo-Saxon word hellia, that meant wicked or evil.
Samael’s wife, the first human woman ever created, Lilith, thrived with the decision. After being banished along with her husband, she empowered demon-kind with her voice and her songs. And as the numbers of Hell grew, so did its power.
To say Heaven was threatened by that fact was an understatement, according to the paperwork Adam - the first human man and soul to enter heaven – left, I was able to discover that the overpopulation was being handled through an extermination, a massive genocide is a correct termination. What I found interesting, was that the procedure ruled out hell-born beings, no exceptions, and no precedents of any contract with Samael or any form of power known to rule in hell.
To think Adam’s heart was so big that he decided to condemn only human souls, sparing “innocent” hell-born beings, is moronic. But as soon as I started to leave my obligations unattended to uncover the mystery of the excess of blood in the hands of the high command, my actions were noticed by Michael, the archangel of light.
“Demons... It seems as if I can never catch them all and destroy them, and their numbers continue to expand, corrupting the minds of mortals” he scoffed, picking up his cup of tea, “That’s no reason to go down and take their lives, if you’re so concerned about them corrupting mortals, shut down their access to portals-“ he interrupted me hitting the table hard, breaking the saucer on which he placed the cup, his voice became distorted and his eyes widened around his head, trying to intimidate me.
“They are sinful beasts who rejected our light so we help remove them from it and keep them in the shadows of Hell. We allow them to live, an example of the angel's merciful will, but their population must be... controlled, until they cease being an annoying, persistent thorn in the side of our family” he hissed.
“Our family, was pushed down a hole and since then, no one, not even you, has tried to establish any contact, don’t you think it’s almost an insult that Adam saw Samael before us? Because I do”
“You seem to have a clouded judgement” he adjusted his glasses with a stern movement.
“It’s as clear as ever, I go to earth, I see the souls go either up or dragged down, you’re the one that is clouded because you haven’t witnessed any of their pain”  my blood boiled causing my aura to manifest around me.
“Watch your words” he warned, his eyes flaring in a blue from of flame.
“I can't wait for him to find out, and what will be worse for you, is that everyone will know that you agreed to this from the beginning” I snickered, it was wrong to provoked him, but I felt as if I had the upper hand on him.
I wish someone had warned me of how wrong I was.
“You were the only “no” that day, you were the only one to try to defend his ideas” he thought out loud.
“So?” I asked confused, reaching for the door.
There was a shrill sound, the next thing I knew, I felt a horrible pain in my back, also heat, the air was humid and hot, a smell of blood between fresh and thousands of years old. I don't know how long I was face down in the dirt, I was only able to get up when the pain stopped enough and I was able to move to dry my tears. The dry, arid land under my hands and the sign in front of me confirmed my suspicions.
Son of a bitch had thrown me into Hell.

THIS IS PART ONE!! AN INTRODUCTION!!
Tumblr media
*~*~*~*~
I never saw my father anymore, not even on my birthday.
I have vague memories of him though from when I was just a young girl, And of course there’s the various family paintings spread throughout the mansion chambers but, his face was always blurred or torn out by his own hand.
Not even any printed pictures, he despised them.
It was like living with a ghost. I always felt his presence but it's like he was invisible to the naked eye. Despite never seeing him or hearing orders directly from his own mouth, I still receive them from our house keepers.
Holidays were useless and such a waste of time. We never celebrated them anyways since it was too much pain to remember.
My mother had died around thanksgiving. Ironic? I know. The one time of year when everyone would celebrate the giving season, but given our history– it was not a time to be happy in our household.
That holiday was a lie anyways– it wouldnt even exist if it wasnt for mass genocide so I wasnt necessarily torn up about not celebrating it anyways.
I don't remember much about her, she was human from what I know and from what others have told me she was a very bright woman. So happy and optimistic, definitely a “glass is half full kind of person”-- Or atleast, that’s what I've been told. —-That’s another story for another time though, no use mourning over someone I barely knew.
Still, sometimes I'd long for normality. But in my case, that was merely a dream. Someone like me couldn't be normal no matter what spell or mortal concoction this pathetic world seemed to brew up. I couldn’t even go outside without my ‘ring of cursed sunlight’ on. If I didn't have that, then it was back to the o’l trench coat and sunglasses.
I am Y/n Dracula, the only living heir of the count himself. And no, I can not see my reflection in the mirror.
*~*~*~*~
I am 16 years old. Quite young for a vampire, I'm aware– but I've still got quite the ways to go. According to my research, a half-blood like myself would last only a few hundred years. I'm not completely immortal like a true count should be.
It’s the highest dishonor in my family and because of it, I was considered a sham.
The one living heir to the Dracula legacy wasn't even a full vampire. I was a regret from the moment I was born in my father’s eyes. I’ve never had any other reason to believe otherwise because it’s not like we had a healthy father-daughter relationship like most, He didn’t even talk to me.
On my sixteenth birthday, I received a letter from a principal in a small little town located near a cemetery surrounded by a body of water. Where the skies were dark and gloomy, rain was common, and happiness died along with its resident’s hopes and dreams…
It was like a dream come true, I know.
But what I wasn't particularly fond of was what the school represented, outcasts.
Nevermore Academy; The school of outcasts and those who were rejected from the normal lifestyle we know today. Where weirdos and stoners, rejects and ‘misunderstood’ ‘troubled’ teens got sent to.
What’s even worse was, APPARENTLY— it was my father’s idea.
What better way to make sure your child knows you’re ashamed of them? What a nice birthday present dad.
I didn’t even have a choice either. My bags were already packed for me, and my transporter, Alec, was patiently waiting at the bottom of the stairs, ready to hand me my coat and ring.
I received many hugs and presents from my housekeepers, the closest thing I had to a family.
With a final wave goodbye, I saw myself out of the mansion. Only looking back for a brief moment to make sure I hadn’t forgotten anything but,
something had caught my sharp attention when I finally took a seat in the passenger side of our vehicle.
From a far window above,
The one window in my fathers corridor,
The one window he always kept shut and locked without even the slightest bit of light shining through,
I could have sworn, I saw a pale white stoic face glaring at me through the window before disappearing. Almost as if the count himself wanted to see my dissatisfied face before leaving.
‘What a smug bastard.’ I had thought to myself, adjusting in the seat and pulling my sunglasses over my eyes.
As we rounded the mansion's fountain, making a U-turn to be let out the tall dark gate, Alec said my name.
I turned towards him,
“Young mistress, your father wanted me to hand you this, tis’ your birthday present.” His older face crinkled into an eye closed smile.
He held a black velvet box out to me, wrapped in the darkest of ribbons and bows, with a letter and a black rose tucked between the packaging. I took the box,
Pulling the letter from the packaging and removing the dark crimson wax melted “D” from the opening so I could read the letter,
“T’was your mothers, she wanted you to have it on this day.” the letter had read in big bold fancy writing,
And in the box was a small beautiful mirror crusted with rubies and black gems, rimmed with gold and silver.
“Your mother always had taste.” Alec smiled once more.
The sight of the mansion soon disappeared in my rear view mirror, I sighed.
‘What kind of a ridiculous name is Nevermore anyways?’
*~*~*~*
LET ME KNOW WHAT YALL THINK !! DO YOU THIS SHES GOOD ENOUGH TO CONTINUE THE STORY!???? <333

So, for some god damn reason I got the urge to play a DOS point-and-click adventure that's almost as old as I am.
In other news, I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream was on sale on Steam for less than the price of a burger, and I've been weirdly fascinated with this story for a while.
Tackling Ellen's scenario first, and I'm glad they made her sassy, because it'd be very bleak otherwise.
Tumblr media
(Truer words have never been said, but I'm not sure all the therapy in the world would help him, girl)
Who knew this was a thing?
Tumblr media
Honestly going into this I wasn't expecting to feel bad for AM, but I kind of do
Tumblr media
Sure he's a jackass (not to mention a genocidal maniac), but? Its... his existence is as much of a horror as the five humans.
Not to be, like, an apologist lmao
Honestly, based on this little snippet so far, it almost feels like AM even gave them a chance to win, because he wants them to 'kill' him, lol

PROPAGANDA
Rose Quartz
It’s all “more morally grey women in media!” but when the mom from the space rocks singing and crying show turns out to not be the saint she was made out to be in the early seasons, suddenly she’s The Real Villain Of the Show and a Bitch and all the good she did in liberating the gems and saving the earth is completely erased. Yes! She was a diamond! She did some evil shit without understanding the consequences! She was once entitled and bratty and unempathetic. She got a lot of people hurt! But she also gave all our gems their freedom! She gave up her status and family and slowly tried to fix all the damage the diamonds had caused. She didn’t have Steven as a means to escape her past, she had Steven because she saw in humans everything she always wanted to be- something free and forever changing. You are allowed to not forgive her but claiming her to be inherently evil even after all she went through is flat out wrong. Imo you all just cant handle a bbw.
So many people absolutely DESPISE Rose Quartz. The show showed her character arc in reverse order, and when the show started, she was seen as this perfect being who was wise and kind and a rebel hero and utterly flawless. But then we find out that she wasn't perfect, and she was one of the tyrannical Diamonds the show has as the main antagonists. She used to be a spoiled brat who threw tantrums, hurt one of her servants, and left her friend/plaything Spinel to stand in a garden for thousands of years. She discovered the beauty of earth and rebelled to save it from being destroyed, even faking the death of her Pink Diamond identity so the rebellion could win. She works her entire life to change and become a better person from who she was. Ultimately she gives up her gem and life so Steven could live before the show begins, and the show has Steven gradually learning about her. She is often hated and seen as a villain and worse than the other Diamonds, who are genocidal tyrants until the very end of the show.
Steven Universe shows Pink Diamond’s arc in reverse. At the beginning of the show, all the characters see Rose as this great hero, this perfect unimpeachable goddess, and over the course of the show we learn that this is a lie — Rose was just as flawed as anyone else, in many was immature, lied to all of her closest friends, was at times very cruel to her loved ones, and spent most of her life unlearning the privilege and entitlement and cruelty which her youth taught her. The last things we learn about Pink Diamond (her abandonment of spinel, her treatment of volleyball) are perhaps the worst things she ever does. But these are also some of the *earliest* things she ever does — this is where she STARTS, and we see in the show that Pink spends a lot of time trying not to be the person who did those things, even if she never undoes them, so that by the end of her life she’s far from perfect but is also in many many important ways not that person. Her decision to become Rose Quartz is in part an attempt to remake herself, to *not be* the childish, callously cruel pink diamond she is meant to be. And rose quartz *is* kind, and works to be good, but she cannot truly stop being that person. In the end, I think we are meant to understand that Rose Quartz decided to become Steven because she wanted to grow and improve in a way she felt that she couldn’t — she KNOWS that she isn’t a good person and can never truly be a good person, so she destroys herself so that Steven can be the good person she can’t be. And her decision to bring steven into the world caused a lot of pain, and maybe it was selfish, but it’s also a fascinating expression of Rose’s self-awareness about her own flaws!!!! I love Rose/Pink for how flawed she is and how much she tries not to be flawed. Anyway a large portion of the SU fandom thinks Pink Diamond is an irredeemable monster. So that’s cool.
Chara Dreemur
There's a lot of bias against Chara for appearing at the end of the Genocide Route, but there's so much more to them than "I want to murder everyone". They're a kid!! They made mistakes and they felt bad for them, and now they're stuck following the player and watching their every move... The fandom misrepresents them very badly imo
Somehow people forgive Asriel for everything he's done as a soulless being after his death, but when it comes to Chara, it's like they're the devil incarnate.
Chara is a character commonly seen as guilty for the genocide run or harmless disregarding them only appearing at the end and posioning Asgore
Poor kid called themselves a demon ONE TIME and then got misrepresented so badly as immoral killer with no sympathy
People constantly blame them for the worst ending of the game, even though the entire point of the game is that the player has a the opportunity to choose senseless violence and that it is the player's fault for killing the characters. They are a troubled child, and while they do some bad things, like taking the player's violent example at the end, most of what the fandom pins on them is in the hands of the player.

A Different Undertale: Main Cast Summary
Content warning:
Frisk: Climbed Mount Ebott when playing with their friends. Fell and got amnesia. Actually takes the name of the first fallen human because of this. Goofy and childish. Naive. Easily manipulated because of their amnesia and general nativity and gullibility.
Flowey: If a monster body can't handle determination how would a lowly flower be able to? That's the logic I went with here. The determination and continued resets take a toll on Flowey's body. Due to his constant suffering he views the world through a pessimistic lense. More like a travel buddy for Frisk, constantly manipulating them to their bidding. Doesn't actually want to harm anyone, especially not Frisk, as they feel genuinely grateful for their help, but steal the souls to try and stop or at least delay his own demise.
Toriel: After being banished to the Ruins she lost all hope and began to deteriorate mentally. Delusional and has blotchy memories. Still kind and gentle but keeps mistaking you for her children. Doesn't remember who killed her kids but knew it was someone she loved and trusted. Somehow she begins to believe you killed her children and that's why you want to leave so soon. Similar to Horrortale and Underfell Toriel.
Sans: His magic became too strong and due to a combination of over exertion, low stats, laziness, drug addiction, and his loss of hope, his body began to deteriorate. He's basically a walking body made of dust puppeted by his soul. The only thing giving him a reason to live is taking care of his brother. Using magic, including shortcuts, causes him great pain. Smokes and drinks. Buys drugs off Grillby. Similar to Underfell Sans. Eye glows....grey. One hit is all it takes to shatter him completely. In genocide he doesn't even need to dodge as he's basically just dust now meaning your attacks have no effect.
Papyrus: Suffers from extreme autism and ADHD. Has little control over his body and magic. Still an expert with puzzles but they're more of his pastime. Needs constant attention and stimulation. Sans usually keeps him on a child leash to make sure he's not mugged or shanked or something. However most monsters actually really like him and most gangs even help him. A shining hope in the underground, showing there is good out there. Similar to Horrortale and Axetale Papyrus. Almost completely mute only speaking in jumbled words and an occasional NYEH. Sans translates what he means to the best of his ability.
Undyne: The cruel captain of the Royal Guard. Ashamed of the person she's become which is why she rarely removes her helmet. Sent to execute innocents and usually follows through. Refuses to kill children or queer people (as long as being queer is their only "crime") so she "accidently" lets them get away. The only person who can access Alphys. Secretly lesbian but won't come out due to fear of being removed from the Royal Guard.....or worse. Stays in the Royal Guard only because she's afraid of someone worse taking over. Still hates humanity but comes around pretty easily. If anything were to happen to her friends she might just finally snap.
Alphys: A "criminal" due to possessing human objects, being bisexual, and also illegal experimentation (honestly that's the only real crime here). Ashamed of herself. Isolated and hidden in her lab which has high security designed to only allow humans and or Undyne. Due to her isolation she has terrible eyesight. "Sees" by sensing Infrared heat like snakes. Nervously shakes ALOT. Has a lisp and a stutter and just generally has trouble talking. Has a huge crush on Undyne but doesn't want to get her in trouble.
Asgore: Has a genuine hatred for humanity after they sealed his kind underground and cursed them suffering. A cruel leader who hates anything the humans made. Doesn't even burry the humans just stores their corpses in his corpse room to intimidate the next humans. Doesn't even want freedom. Just likes killing humans. There's a small bit of his original kind and gentle self in there. Similar to Underfell Asgore. Cold. Destroys the Mercy and Fight buttons. Forcing you to just stall.
Mettaton: He was able to avoid execution for being so....Mettaton by promising to "bring hope and happiness to the underground." In other words....he's a sex worker. Hotland has become one big strip club. Many monsters hate him because he avoided execution by offering over his body. He's viewed as a cheater and able to be free. But really he's just as trapped as everyone else. Forced to stay in his ex form 90% of the time and has come to hate it. He's also come to hate Alphys for ditching him. He's become almost as pessimistic as Napstablook now. He buys drugs from Muffet to cope but they don't really have an effect besides gunking up his machinery. His body was also made more sexually appealing and even more feminine. All of his dreams of acting have been taken away and replaced with an eternity of dancing poles. He's similar to Lusttale Mettaton and Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel
Napstablook: After his cousin left their dying snail farm Napstablook turned to drugs. They smuggled them from Grillby's as they didn't want to be seen but at least they always left money on the counter on their way out. Unfortunately the drugs dont do anything for Napstablook because they're a ghost and the drugs are corporeal. If they would've asked for ghost drugs Grillby probably would've asked Muffet to make them since who would pass up an opportunity for a whole new group of customers but Napstablook doesn't like to talk to people and prefers isolation. They are also suicidal and similar to most Horrortale Napstablook interepretations they make a noose with their tears which is what they're doing when you first meet them. Unfortunately since their a ghost they can never truly rest in peace.
Monster Kid: Hangs around with other gangs who are a bad influence on the child. They're violent and aggressive. They still admire Undyne (though they pretend not to, to seem cool) and get under her skin and she comes close to killing them a couple times. They actually do die in the neutral and genocide routes. In neutral they fall off the bridge before anyone can save them and in genocide they are killed before Undyne can arrive. They are incredibly petty and jealous towards those with arms which is almost everyone.
Temmies: Tem has taken advantage of her intelligence. She runs a cultist gang of Temmies worshipping the all knowing egg. She keeps the loyal by manipulating them and getting them high on Grillby's drugs. She believes herself to be too smart for college and just wants all the money for the hell of it. Sends her Temmie hordes on heists and has them donate their riches to the egg's donation box which just so happens to lead to Tem's underground weapons shop. She sells great weapons at high prices and is a pretty influential terrorist of the underground. The only Tem she hasn't converted yet is Bob. He sits in the corner of the abandoned Tem Village (they relocated to a new area known as Tem Empire or Tempire) and thinks about how far he let things get out of hand....and if he should just follow everyone else.
Grillby: A drugs dealer in Snowdin. One of the kinder monster though. He's greedy and will kill anyone who pisses him off. But won't go out of his way to hurt anyone and at the end of the day he's just trying to provide for his family. He doesn't make drugs just sells them though sometimes he spices them up with fire magic. He's well liked in Snowdin....too well liked as he's afraid someone's gonna let slip about his underground operation. He makes sure to butter the dogs up with treats in his "apartment" and let them play poker. Misses his daughter but was forced to move away to Snowdin when Muffet threatened not to supply him with anymore products if he didn't move further away from her shop.
Muffet: Money isn't the root of all evil. It's people's greed that makes them evil. And none are more evil than Little Miss Muffet. Little Miss Muffet sat on her tuffet making her joint and weed. When along came cops who told her to stop but they're just food for her pet to eat. She makes all the drugs in the underground and sells them to other vendors only asking for a third of the revenue. She may sound like a great boss. But if you don't pay her in time you'll find yourself on the wrong side of her web. She already helped save the spiders from the Ruins due to her immense influence. She just wants the money to fill her putrid black heart. She may be cruel but deep down she's really just a scared little girl. Trying to prove herself to adults and not get pushed around. The only people who truly understand her are her spiders.
Mad Mew Mew: She's already transitioned due to her dummy body being destroyed in a fit of rage from Undyne and her finding this body dumped in the trash by the guards who raided Alphys human junk. Shes content with this body. But the underground doesn't take to lightly to queer folks. Asgore thinks it's something the humans made up and thus must be evil. And so Mew Mew is considered a criminal just for being herself. But if she's gonna be a criminal she might as well own it. She's gonna be the Undergrounds greatest criminal. Cause if she's going down she's taking all these other motherfuckers down with her. She leads a gang of other oppressed people and commits small misdemeanors and attacks those rude guards. Always being careful to avoid capture. She's one of the top crooks on Undyne's radar. And yet Undyne can't bring herself to capture and execute her. Undyne understands her struggles but doesn't agree with how she goes about dealing with them. They fight on the battlefield but in secret they hang out. They have a frenemy relationship. Undyne is trying to convince Mew to join the guard to at least offer her some protection but she's decided on raining hell in the Underground just to see the look on the guards face when they realize they messed with the wrong trans kitty.
River Person: Hope can be found in the strangest of places. River Person has gone quiet. Communicating through actions rather than words. Ferrying those who are worthy and drowning those who aren't. They drown very few people though. They try to see the good or rather potential for good in everyone. They believe there is hope for this world. That people can and will change. And that one day very soon peace will be returned. Until then they'll just hum their little tune in their riverboat and pray for a better tomorrow.
Annoying Dog: God has left this world
Asriel: Hopes and Dreams are a thing of the past. Asriel was born in a world with no Hopes, no Dreams, no Love. They befriended Chara but were distant from the rest of their family. They helped Chara move in their wheelchair and wanted to believe humanity was good....but one day disaster struck. Asriel and Chara were picking flowers. Chara knew very little about flowers and made a pie with them for Asriel's 12th birthday.....and poisoned him. The buttercups they picked poisoned the young monster and he passed away soon after.... As Flowey he blames Chara for everything. For the way the underground is. For the way he is. And for giving him hope that humanity was capable of anything but cruelty. He hates humans he hates monsters and wants them all to burn in hell alongside him. Even after regaining his true form he's covered in melting scars like a decaying corpse. Because some wounds never heal.
Chara: The first human who fell. They climbed Mount Ebott to bring joy to Monsterkind but ended up falling and breaking countless bones. They became wheelchair bound but Asriel and Toriel cared for them. They loved flowers and baking but weren't good at recognizing flowers. This lead to Asriel's death. Chara was stricken with grief and blamed them self which may be why they didn't fight back when Asgore killed them. It's said that when you enter the King's throne room you can still hear their laughter.
Gaster: His fall into the Core was no accident. He saw the decent of Monsterkind. And didn't want to around long enough to see it. So he fell into the Core. However even in death monsters are doomed to suffer. As he didn't die. He's stuck watching the world he tried to help spiral into hell unable to help. In intense pain his new goal is finding a way to put this world out of its misery.

Jane Crocker
Tumblr media
Submission reason:
OKAY SO BASICALLY in homestuck canon jane is the heiress to this big giant (evil) corporation. but over all she's fairly kind and does her best to be a good friend (albeit she's skeptical and bad at stating what she needs from people until she gets angry). then the homestuck epilogues just. DECIDED to make her irredeemable? and evil? and a xenophobic capitalist who's lowkey taking over the world? like... a big thing was her relation with the big bad (who literally STRANGLED HER, MIND CONTROLLED HER, and more). and then they just decided ""yeah she's basically that now""? like come on she doesn't deserve that.
Became a genocidal xenophobic dictator in the epilogues. The comic gives John a tearful reunion with her dad and she gets nothing
Anyone who read Homestuck^2 knows that she was uh. Made into a racist cheater in the sequel. So there could be another villain. She wasn't perfect in the og material but christ that's outright character assassination.
hi im the sane person that sent that super long jade harley submission. anyway before i start i need to point out that jane is one of my fave characters and i love her so in the original comic all i have to say about her is that she didnt get a finished arc which is sad . shes basically a super sheltered heiress to a baking empire and as a result she has a lot of pressures on her to act in a certain way and her arc was about like breaking free from that i guess. so like for example she was expected to be super fem and be a girlboss housewife because her evil alien grandma was trying to manipulate her into being the perfect heiress but once jane gets into the game shes like naw fuck that and becomes awesomely butch & wears a moustache. i dont have anything against the crockerteir part of her arc (in summary it was a part where she got mind controlled by her grandma and temporarily regressed to the star pf her arc but like ten times worse and also evil) cause i think its a necessary part of her arc and low points are important for conflict .
HOWEVER it kind of just… ended there. like arquius freed her from the mind control and then she flew off with jasprose and then her story just ended there with no further development which like sucked because it wouldve been a good point to like jump off of and give her an actual finished arc but it was sooooo rushed and skipped over which is a shame because i found her story to be really interesting and then it just ENDED right after the arcs low point instead of ending like a normal arc and having more progression after the low point. it sounds nitpicky but honestly if you read the comic jane and the other 3 of her friends get such abrupt ends to their stories it was like the author realised the webcomic was too long and just cut it short early. i forgive them for that though. there are a ton of characters in the comic and even though jsne was technically the protagonist for half of the comic I understand that the author was juggling like 100 different characters. HOWEVER this bad ending for jane left a door open… for the worst writing decision ive seen in my life… in the homestuck dubious canon sequels (‘fanfiction’ written by the a team of people including the comics original author, available on the homestuck.com site and therefore relevant to this conversation despite their dubiously canonical nature) JANE WAS ABSOLUTELY BUTCHERED IN THE SEQUELS!!! they completely stripped her of her of all of her character development that happened in the original story and they turned her into a villain. they made her into a human version of her evil alien grandma. this was ABSOLUTELY caused by the fact that her arc ended abruptly right after the crockertier mind control thing and also caused by the fact that people in the fandom didnt like her cause there was a scene where 2/3 of her friends didnt show up for her birthday so she got sad and yelled at her other friend and then immediately apologised and everyone thought she was evil for doing that😭 anyway so in hse&hs2 jane was turned into an evil xenophobic dictator that started a war against the trolls for some reason and also they made her wear pencil skirts which is so messed up cause she needs to wear trousers she butch… get her out of that.
the also took away her epic moustache :(. its just really sad because its such a stupid direction for her character to go in i dont get how they could just reverse her character like that out of the blue for no reason. oh wait yes i can get it… its cause shes a GIRL and the homestuck 2 writers hate women (refer to my jade harley submission) . half joking about that. jane was a great character and then in the sequel they made her evil and racist and turned her into a complete other character because they wanted conflict but they killed off the evil alien grandma lady in the original comic so they just took jane and made her into the evil alien grandma because people didnt like jane so they knew no one would notice how much they fucked her up.
UGH! worst part was that they made her straight in homestuck2 as if she wasnt a huge lesbian in the original like she literally called a crazy magical catgirl lesbian hot and then flew off into space with her and they hung out for the rest of the story before her arc got cut short and then they had to audacity to make her marry a dude in the sequel. fuck everything 😡😡😡SHES A LESBIAOOONNNN it’s literally gay erasure cause the writing team of the sequel didnt like her 💀💀💀😭😭😭AAAARUHHHH
*gestures at all of Homestuck 2*
Propaganda:
btw post-canon had no right making her that heterosexual. that woman is a lesbian and it needs to be said.
Oh! No. :)
jane is the best

Cool Idea for the MC's Soul in The House Next Door: What if Y/n's Soul was a white human soul that was holographic with the other soul colours? You could use it as a way to explain why she is so good with monsters and why she cares about them so much; because she has the same soul colour as a monster's soul. The holographic colours would be the normal human soul colours and she shows traits from all 7 of them. Cool Arc Idea: Y/n gets stuck in the void for a bit. (kind of relating to the white soul thing) Because her soul is white she didn't die as soon as she entered the void like other humans would have. While she is in the void maybe she could see some of the different Underground/Timelines. For a little bit of angst, she could maybe see some of the Genocide runs in the different undergrounds. All of the monster back home could either forget her because she is in the void or they could be the only ones that remember her and all the humans have forgotten her (some fun angst for the brothers). They have to try and convince Error and the other hotel members to help search for her once they figure out that she is in the void. Meanwhile Y/n has been in the void, which feels like forever, when she meets another copy of herself (Maybe this one got lost in the void or something. Either way she basically lives in the void) She explains briefly the trauma that most of the sans/papyruses have gone through because of us humans and that she hopes y/n can help change the world for the better (something cheesy like that) The boys save her from the void. arc over. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Story Ideas for you, you can use, change and expand on them however you like :D Have Fun <3 I love your story so much its so comforting for me
OMG so this sort of fits in with an arch Idea I already have planned. I don't think I'm ever going to give MC's soul a color cause they are an insert so people can choose but the holographic idea is so cool! I could totally see that working!
As for the story idea part I love it. I am defiantly using parts of it. As I said it already fits so well with an arch I'm planning. My big multiverse crossover with all the MC ehehe I'm so pumped for it. And Error was already gonna save them anyway but I didn't think of the void. I knew I wanted to put them in like a crossway between all the dimensions but I didn't think of the void! And a mega powerful MC heck yeah, she gonna wreck some shit up!
Oh this is gonna be fun. Thank you hehehe

Atone, Intoner.
When One came to, it was dark all around.
She was standing, her body unharmed, her senses less intense than before.
Without much to do, she walked.
She spent her time thinking on what happened; Zero had killed her, yes, but after was a haze; she felt... connected, to her sisters, in a way she could not describe.
The final moments of them singing together played in her head. 'A monster that can only hurt itself and others'... it explains the Intoners perfectly.
She was the 'oldest', and spent her time finding out the origins of herself. It all stemmed back to Zero, but there was no explanation behind it. She had memories of a 'mother' and Zero being a true older sister, but she believes them false.
A speck of white appeared in the black, and as One walked towards it, she was eventually face-to-face, barring the height difference, with Zero.
Zero had a strange expression, somewhere between defeat, annoyance, mild anger and tiredness.
"Hey." she said, finally. She sounded exhausted. One also saw that, while the Flower was gone from Zero's eye, she did not have her eye grow back, nor did she have her prosthetic arm, leaving only a stub.
"Hello," One greeted back. "I did not expect to meet you here, let alone again."
"Mm." Zero made a noise in her throat. Then, she sighed. "It all went wrong, didn't it?"
"An understatement. Still, at least now I finally know the reason for your slaughtering."
"Yeah, a fucking genocidal plant that wanted me to kill everyone. Fuck that."
One raised an eyebrow at that. "You?" she echoed.
"Me," Zero replied. "I was gonna finally die in peace when that bitch grew before me, thinking I wanted to destroy humanity. I didn't hate humanity, I hated the world itself. Unfortunately, it didn't get the memo." Zero looked around the darkness. "And now, here we are in this new shithole. Fucking A."
"Pause..." the Intoner of Knowledge heard something in the rant that made her curious, despite it all. "What do you mean, 'finally die'?"
"I don't have to tell you of all people jack shit." Zero shot back.
"Maybe. But if we're dead, you can't kill me again, can you?"
Zero looked at One with her single rose-coloured eye, then scoffed. "Exactly what I said: I was gonna die."
"You are an Intoner, the Original one, at that, Zero."
"Yeah, but before that Flower found me," she gestured to herself. "I was a human. Although, that's a stretch. I didn't have anything by the time I died, even with my tally. I was, in the literal sense, nothing. Nought. 'Zero'."
Another voice, of which One had not heard in months, spoke up. "But what about us?"
Turning, the Original and the Oldest saw Two. She did not appear catatonic, and instead looked the same as she did when Zero initially attacked the Cathedral City; albeit, more confused, even with her eyes wide and full of life once more.
"Not even a hello?" dryly remarked the white-haired lady, and Two immediately apologised, eyes widening even more.
"Oh, shoot, sorry, Zero! I was just a little surprised, that's all..."
"Eh, forget it: if you're here so are the other cunts. Anyways, the Flower didn't like how I didn't want to follow its way of thinking, so when I tried to kill myself again, it split itself off into five kids. Any guesses?"
"...So you're our mother?" Two jumped into the air as Three suddenly appeared, the slothful girl looking intrigued for the first time in a while.
"No, dipshit, you're technically me."
"You?" One sounded akin to a broken record, but that cannot be blamed.
"Yeah, you all got some aspect of my personality, some more than others, and some having a boost in certain aspects. Like Two; I definitely don't remember having that much of a heart."
"But that, you had some kindness, right?" Two immediately replied like the wind.
"Yeah, for Micheal... and Mikhail." her eyes turned downcast when remembering her dragon. "Oh, that idiot is gonna be alone, isn't he...?"
The three stood in silence for a while, literally and metaphorically.
"Oh, right, you seem a bit calmer now, Two."
"Oh, yeah, that..." Two laughed nervously. "Guess I didn't give you much trouble this time?"
"This time?" One quirked an eyebrow, before grabbing her head at a sharp pain. Thinking about her memories made her realise that some were similar but different. Like swearing, like her brother, like...
"...You stabbed One." Three breathed, her tone a mix of her tiredness and a small bit of awe.
Two looked like a deer being caught. "...Oops??"
"Zero?" One asked.
"...Ah, fuck, you guys remember the Branches..."
"Oh, that's what they're called?"
Zero groaned, as she turned to see Five walking towards them. "Hello, Five. And Four, I can see you."
Four walked from behind Five and marched to Zero. Then, she reeled back her fist and punched--
Zero caught it.
"You. Fucking. Bitch." Four growled out, her eyes filled with fury and her body shaking from sheer rage. "I have more than a few things to say to you!"
"Save it for later, after this." came Zero's reply. She let go of the fist, and looked around. "Well, that makes six. Any others I need to know of?"
Zero half expected to see Accord pop up out of nowhere. Instead, from One's side, that brother of her's appeared.
The Intoners, sans Zero and One, blinked.
"Oh! Hello there!" Two greeted warmly, waving.
"...Hello." the brother greeted back. Actually, fuck it, Zero is going to call him Decimal. He is half of One, so it makes sense.
"Hey." Zero looked at the twin of One, who looked back at her, eyes narrowing as he placed his hand on his blade.
"Zero."
One placed her hand on her twin's. "Stand down. She is not the enemy. Tell me, everyone; what do you last remember?"
"Apart from being stabbed?" Four spat out. "It was singing. Then I sang with you guys. Then nothing until now."
"Same here!" Five gasped. "We are... dead?"
"No; Decimal didn't die, did he?" Zero directed the question to One, who tilted her head.
"Decimal?"
"One, listen; I can sorta respect you. But I'm giving him a name as his older sister."
"That's the first time I think I have heard you use that privilege." One's red eyes displayed curiosity more than anything. "I'm surprised you didn't ground us."
"Maybe when you all were kids."
"Ah, sisters--?"
"I mean, look, okay, I'm an awful person. But I had reasons, you know?"
"Hello--?"
"Reasons that include senseless genocide of our soldiers, per chance?"
"H--"
"Don't start, Three, you fucking experimented on them. You think I would--?"
A sharp whistle cut them off, and Zero exploded. "OH, FOR FUCK'S SAKE, WHAT?!"
Two pointed. Everyone looked. A glowing portal was on the ground, akin to a hole.
"...Oh. Neat." Zero walked over, and looked through the portal. "..."
Zero looked back. "Right. The Flower found me when I was dying--don't ask--and when I hated the world. That was because of my own growing up."
"See anything you like, Sister?" Five asked.
She pointed to the portal. "So what if, that never happened?"
"What."
Zero sighed. "That building in it. I know it. It's from like, way before the Intoner's time. Go through and find me and get me not to be me."
"Wouldn't that kill us?" Decimal tilted his head in a way similar to One.
"I don't fucking know!" Zero then blinked, as of having a sudden epiphany. "Oh, hang on a second. I have something to do."
Three looked back, tiredly. "What's tha--"
Zero punched Three in the face, knocking the purple-haired girl back as Zero brought out a pair of gauntlets without her noticing.
Three attempted to stand up, but was knocked to the ground by Zero, this time by her foot. Her hair was then grabbed, and forced to look at Zero. She saw her expression, and it was one akin to a disappointed parent.
"Oh, Three, you sweet little bitch." she said it almost fondly, as she let go of Three's hair and punched her in the stomach, causing Three to dry heave from it. "Tell me: Why do you think I'm attacking you?"
Three began to reach for her scissors. "The madness consumes all, in the end--"
A scream of agnoy cut her off, her scream of agnoy, as Zero took a hold of her arm and broke it with a sickening crack.
"Your dolls." Zero spat out. "I had a bit of time to think after I killed you in Branch A, same with everyone, and I could kinda understand everyone, even with Four's fantastical racism problems. But you?" Zero shook her head. "Listen, Three, I'm not sunshine and daisies, but even I know you fucked around too hard."
"What are you taking about?" Three retorted snappily, as she felt herself getting hot with anger. It wasn't often that it happened, but this is a special occasion. "My dolls were perfect. Better!"
"And yet, still not good enough to beat me." Zero dropped Three to the ground, as her gauntlets faded into a sword. Zero's Sword. "You went on a campaign of murder, and for what? A few nice toys to keep in bed, and the others to send off to die to lovely Big Sis Z?"
Three attempted to get up, but the moment she placed pressure on to her broken arm, she yelled and collapsed. "I made the dolls to be perfect!" she repeated, for that was her truth.
Zero leaned down, her single eye almost glowing. "And what of during it?"
Three stopped, and looked at Zero, squinting at her with fury, confusion, tiredness and pain. "The fuck are you rambling on about?"
"Did they scream? Did they plead for mercy? Did they try and convince you otherwise?"
Three scoffed. "Of course they did. They weren't making any sense. I gave them sense--"
A blood-curdling scream ripped its way out of Three's throat. Despite not feeling any pain from the arm itself, Zero breaking her smallest finger made it infinity worse somehow.
"Three. I'm going to give you a simple request." Zero almost looked like an actual big sister as she said this. "Say you are sorry."
"For wha--?!"
The ring finger snapped, and Three screamed again. Her mind caught up with recent events, and as she tried to look for her sisters (and... brother?) for help, she saw them all standing there silently. Four looked pale, and she saw vomit on the floor, but they all remained still, looking at Three.
As if this was right.
"Take your time." Zero said, almost gently, as her fingers closed in around Three's middle finger.
Her mind raced, trying to figure out why this is happening. Her dolls, yes. They were made to be perfect for Three, of which she had personally handcrafted herself. Many hours went into the creation of each one, with some having her forget she needs rest, food, water and sex to keep her alive.
"I... made them." Three began.
"Go on."
"...Is that where the problem in is?"
Zero looked at her.
"...Why--?"
CRACK.
A noise that sounded oddly like an injured wolf made its way from Three's mouth, as she looked and saw said middle finger broken. Only her index finger and thumb remained.
"Don't worry. I'll just heal you. And then we can try again." If Zero had attempted to comfort Three, it did the opposite.
The creation of the dolls...
"Did they scream? Did they plead for mercy? Did they try and convince you otherwise?"
Three's eyes seemed to get less cloudy as she pondered on it. They did, yes...
...Oh. Ethics.
...Oh, fuck.
"Oh, God." blasphemy crawled out of her mouth, as Zero looked with a neutral gaze.
"There are no deities here, other than ourselves. And congrats, you're beginning to realise it."
Three thought more on it. The people she killed... did they have parents? Children? Siblings?
Three looked back at her sisters. She had, on more than one occasion, fantasised about turning them into dolls.
But, then, what would happen to their personalities?
She knows she cannot recreate any of them; having a doll of Two would be cute, but she won't talk, or joke, or laugh, without Three voicing her, and she won't be able to get her personality back.
"I'm sorry." The words felt so foreign to her. Yet, they felt right to say. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry ImsorryImsorryImsorryImsorryImsorryImsorryImsorryImsorryImsorryImsorryImsorry--"
"Shh." Zero cut her off. "No point crying now, is there?"
"...Atonement."
"What."
"'An individual's reconciliation with God by means of repentance and confession of one's transgressions'." Three looked at Zero, almost in wonder. "I... my dolls."
"Yes?"
"They are... hollow. Like a tree. Beautiful on the outside, but on the inside..." it felt strange, having her entire world view shift, but...
She clutched her head with her hands, not realising it was fully healed, and sobbed. Not laugh, or giggle. Sobbed.
That sobbing then turned to crying. And, she then let out of screams of despair, as the reality came to hit her in the face.
She had dolls, yes. But what are dolls, if they cannot be fun to play with?
She screamed for what felt like hours. She then gasped as someone awkwardly placed their arms around her. Looking up, she saw Zero trying to hug her, patting her head gently.
"Pat, pat, gestures that are kind..." she muttered.
The crying stopped, finally. Three shakily got up, as she walked over to the others, who looked at Zero in... fear?
"The rest of ya are also mega fucked up. Minus maybe Two. So I'm going to tell you something: Go into that portal. Find me. And raise me to never become this."
They all stood in silence. Then, Four walked to the portal, the glowing surface on the ground.
"What about you?" One asked.
"Eh."
Five went in first. Then Four. Then Three. Then Two. Then Decimal.
"See you later... Sister." One said. Zero rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, yeah. Same with you. Sis."
One went into the portal. The last of Zero she saw was her smiling face.
A small, real, genuine smile.

The quiet council are really corrupt aren't they? They seem like the kind of people who would risk people's live than their possession of power.
"What country do you come from? You're on a social media platform, typing in fluent English, so I would assume somewhere in what would be considered 'the western world' - America, the United Kingdom, Europe, etc. I do so hate to be the one to educate you, but this describes every single government that ever has, ever will, ever can exist."
Tumblr media
"A government's purpose is to unify their country under a coherent policy, and while the details of that policy may change depending on your political leanings, the fundamental truth remains the same - it is the job of government to stay in power.
You leverage your natural resources to remain economically independent, you leverage your skill and expertise to remain in intellectual stride, you leverage your population to remain both militarily independent and maintain a steady growth rate."
Tumblr media
"It just so happens that one of Krakoa's greatest natural resources is an infinite supply of mutants with powers that can change the world. People question why must Krakoa be this way, why must we have such a cavalier disregard for life, why must we treat our flesh as disposable - I say that this is a stupid question, because how else can Krakoa be?
Should we treat resurrection as something special, something hallowed? Oh, the sheep can do that if they want, with their bleating about, 'but do we KNOW them?' and their pitiful affirmations that we are anything other than regrown flesh, but anyone with half a brain knows the truth. Every single mutant with a genetic sample in our gene bank and a telepathic back-up in our Cerebro cradles is expendable. How could they not be?
Just as the humans at first treated television or penicillin as the newest wonder of the world at first, but then came to regard it as simply part of their natural born lives, so it shall go with resurrection. And that is correct. The Quiet Council should risk mutant lives. I'd rather they do that than anything inherently valuable."
Tumblr media
"That being said, the Quiet Council are fools. Every single one of them is an idiot of the highest order. Spinning their wheels against one another rather than advancing our common good, that's the part I really take umbrage with. Well.
That, and meddling in my business."
Tumblr media
Yeah, this is one of those things where, that's just the story. Every single member of the Quiet Council - and yes, I am absolutely including the 'good ones' like Storm, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Xavier, Magneto, etc - is a corrupt piece of shit with warped morality, and yeah, it's partly because that is . . . sort of, what modern government 'requires'?
It's hard to be ethical in a modern political scene, it really fucking is, especially if you want to be successful. You don't make friends by telling the people you want to rally behind you not to accept bribes, not to stab each other in the back, to put the people's interests before their own, etc. A degree of compromise is required to get anywhere.
But that being said, fuck all these fuckers.
Tumblr media
Every single one of them signed off on Beast's genocide of Terra Verde. Jean Grey, vaunted 'heart' of the X-Men, just slapped him around a bit with telekinesis, and then left him to go on to do worse and worse things.
Every single one of them signed off on Beast's space prison (SERIOUSLY, FUCKING JUSTIFY THAT TO ME, MARVEL, THAT IS SO FUCKING EGREGIOUS).
They only turned on Beast when it affected someone that they all know, Logan. They only began to care when it was one of their own that got hurt in his machinations. And even then, they were still more than happy to let him act as a rogue agent against human interests rather than take him down.
And that's just in X-Force and Wolverine. Emma's manipulation of Havok and Empath for her political gain, anyone? The sheer rank fucking hypocrisy of sending Orphan-Maker to the Pit for the crime of killing two humans, of sending Havok to the Hellions for the crime of injuring three others, while X-Force just gets to do whatever it wants?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sheer rank, vile hypocrisy. When fucking Nanny shows more care for people than you do? That's how you know it's fucked up.
Tumblr media
Oh, shut the fuck up, Scott. You spent the Krakoan era schtupping Logan and Jean and playing war games instead of taking care of your brother - and you're either too much of a pussy to stand firm and tell him that Maddie's bad for him, or too blind to see that she's making him worse.
Either way, I don't want to hear shit about people not being pawns from the guy who formed the Utopia X-Force.
This also gives me an opportunity to talk about one of my favourite moments in the Krakoan era for Beast. Ready?
Tumblr media
When the Director of X-Force, the Butcher of Terra Verde himself, is telling you that you failed your people because of political expediency, then I'm sorry, but you fucked up.
Tumblr media
I'm really glad you feel bad about this, Emma.
Now fucking do something about it.
Fucking bullshit biotechnological oligarchy with fucked up morals and fucked up ethics and a fucked up death pit and a fucked up council and a fucked up everything.
People often complain about the Krakoan era not having great villains (Orchis got notably less threatening when they became just a palette swapped Sinister's army of palette swapped AIM beekeepers), and while that's true, there's an argument to be made that every single time someone stepped into the Quiet Council, you were being faced with twelve villains sitting at their desks, because they do not come out of the Krakoan era looking good.
Enough of them voted in favour of what X-Force did, or were happy to allow it complete carte blanche (which is just as bad if not worse), that I hold each and every one of them responsible.
Great story beats. Infuriating, in the way that all good political critique is. More of that, please.

okay, this might be super rambly but,,, Agarthans (note that most of the canon stuff about the Agarthans is like pretty vague? but i’ll try to cover most of it in a way that kind of makes sense)
IN THE BEGINNING, Sothis arrived in Fódlan in the area of Zanado. according to the church, she then like created all life, but who knows whether that’s true. the timeline is a little bit funky around here, but conflict grew between her and the local humans, and eventually some fought against her and probably destroyed large portions of the world. from Romance of the World’s Perdition:
To this end, the children of men have erected pillars of light upon the land. Thinis, Malum, Septen, and Llium were utterly destroyed. Those lands have vanished from this world. Yet even still, the False God stands. And soon, a flood aptly named Despair will drown this world.
this reads to me like the use of javelins of light, so the proto-Agarthans probably essentially nuked the world. they then fled the destroyed surface to inhabit what’s now Shambhala, and swore to one day succeed in destroying the Goddess:
The children of men fled to the depths of the earth, beyond the sight of the False God, beyond the embrace of the sacred sun, and beyond the reach of the waters of Despair. They swore a fervent oath of revenge against the surface world, ruled by beasts, and against their tormentor, the False God.
much time passed as Sothis healed the world, and at some point (unclear if it was before or after this conflict with the proto-Agarthans), she created the Nabateans. they became the rulers of the humans who now lived on the surface again. tensions eventually came to a head again, as humans grew dissatisfied with their Nabatean rulers, and the Agarthans took advantage of this opportunity. from the Nintendo Dream interview:
Those Who Slither in the Dark wanted to overturn this state of affairs (of the Nabateans as rulers) and as such, they devised schemes. They granted humans the technology to make powerful weapons from the corpses of the citizens of Nabatea, or so was their plan that they enacted, to which they went forward with this plan using the human, Nemesis. As a result, what would happen to humans who gained power… they would want even more power, and find a dragon much stronger to beat in order to collect materials forcefully, in order to make even more powerful weapons… and so that was the cycle that was born. And that was the birth of Fodlan’s Ten Elites.
of note, it seems like the Elites weren’t aware of what they were really doing, or of that Agarthan involvement. from Fragments of a Forgotten Memoir:
Why does Seiros despise us so? What did King Nemesis do to incur such unyielding wrath? Perhaps it was a mistake to accept his offer. In any case, that is all in the distant past now… ______and before this body falls to ash, the evil…
this is what led to the genocide of the Nabateans, as Nemesis + co. killed them off to turn them into Relics. Seiros survived, and eventually gathered the strength of the surviving Nabateans and supportive human allies, and defeated Nemesis and the Elites. with the end of this war, the Adrestian Empire, founded by Seiros’s good buddy Wilhelm, spread across all of Fódlan.
the Agarthans slithered back to Shambhala for a while. at some point, they also started a plan to bring back Nemesis and the Elites, though that wouldn’t be completed for a long long time.
there isn’t a whole lot of lore detailed for quite a while here, but several hundred years later (in the mid-700s), Loog, a descendant of the Elite Blaiddyd, led a rebellion in the northern empire. he got many of the other descendants of the Elites on his side, but they were still severely outnumbered by the empire itself. the Agarthans, wanting to sow discord in human lands, supported Loog in this endeavor. from Burnt Remnants of a Report:
…the Faerghus Rebellion. I harbor doubts about the army Loog has raised. How did he recruit soldiers without raising suspicions in the Empire? How did he acquire those mysterious weapons, so like Heroes' Relics? What is the true identity of Pan, the tactician rumored to have been integral to Loog's victories? And Those Who Slither in the Dark…
it appears that the Agarthans sent an advisor in the guise of this Pan to direct Loog, and supplied his forces with powerful Agarthan weapons to defeat the Adrestian forces and secure Faerghus’s independence. perhaps they hoped this would lead to a revival of Nemesis’s kingdom, given that it, too, was located in what’s now Faerghus, but the specifics are unclear.
regardless, it seems that they later lost hope in their plans in Faerghus. about a hundred years later, King Klaus I of Faerghus died, and the country split among his three heirs. although two of them reunited, this is what led to Leicester becoming an independent country. Klaus’s death may have been orchestrated by the Agarthans as another attempt at sowing discord in Fódlan to soften it up for their future schemes. also from Burnt Remnants of a Report:
The shadowed order of the Knights of Seiros believes that King Klaus I of Faerghus was assassinated… Everyone believes that his will, which demands the territory be divided among the three princes and fails to name a successor, is a fake.
could have been assassinated by someone else, but given that Burnt Remnants is an investigation into Agarthan activity, it seems that whoever put it together figured they were related.
things with the Agarthans seem to have calmed down for a while, or at least whatever they did wasn’t as obvious or relevant to the modern state of Fódlan. by the time period of the games, they seem to have upped their activity once again, causing chaos everywhere they can. they bodysnatched a few prominent figures, most notably Cornelia Arnim, the recently appointed court mage of Faerghus; Volkhard von Arundel, brother-in-law to the Emperor and uncle of Edelgard; and Tomas, trusted librarian at Garreg Mach. they used these positions and others to do things such as:
orchestrate the tragedy of Duscur. Cornelia (Cleobulus) convinced not-yet-bodysnatched Volkhard to bring his sister Anselma to Fhirdiad to escape court politics in Enbarr. Anselma took the name Patricia, and Lambert took her as his wife. as time went on, she wished to see her daughter again, and was convinced by Cornelia that she could do so by helping her orchestrate the tragedy of Duscur. Lambert got assassinated, as did some of his closest advisors and guards, but Anselma only participated on the condition that Dimitri lived, so he was spared. she herself disappeared during the tragedy, and was never seen again. (the fact that the people of Faerghus responded by blaming and committing genocide against the people of Duscur doesn’t seem to have been in the Agarthans’ original plans, but given the fact that they’re Evil, i don’t think they’re too upset about it)
Crest implantation experiments. House Hrym tried to secede from the empire, with assistance from House Ordelia just across the border, but their rebellion was put down by Adrestian forces. House Hrym was killed off, and House Ordelia’s territory was occupied. Agarthans who had embedded themselves inside the Adrestian power structure took this opportunity to experiment on House Ordelia’s children, which Lysithea survived, having received a second Crest. afaik her siblings died? it’s likely, at least. later on, after the Insurrection of the Seven, they did the same thing to House Hresvelg’s children. all died (or ended up in a practically dead state) except Edelgard, who took to her second Crest better than Lysithea, thanks to the extra practice the Agarthans had gotten.
the assassination of Oswald. the Agarthans set up some Demonic Beasts along the roads of Leicester. this led to the death of Oswald, the current Duke Riegan’s son (and Claude’s uncle), as well as Raphael’s parents, who were merchants along that route. Count Gloucester was implicated in this plot, which heightened tensions in Leicester as well.
god knows what they were doing with Flayn. they probably wanted her blood (possibly to use it in their Elite resurrection experiments?) or maybe she was just a red herring to allow for Kronya to infiltrate the monastery as Monica, who had disappeared a year prior.
that kinda covers up to the start of the game!! idk if you were looking for background lore, or also events that happens during the course of the game. i can rant about those too if needed
cited sources and everything too! damn!
thank you for this incredible resource yet again. with the map of fódlan you also made, my fics will be researched to hell and back <3

Going through some cap flash fic notes and it got me curious , how much does edel know about the Goddess, Rhea , the Nabateans, and crest stones ?
Like Thales told Edelgard he turned her into a weapon that could burn even the gods but I can't tell how much Edelgard knows or what she believes
Does she know the Goddess exists and that Sothis is related to Rhea (child of the goddess)? I assumed Edelgard saw Sothis as a sort of silent goddess that humanity can't rely on for help, And saw Rhea and Nabateans as the Goddess' children, and I assume she knows Rhea is the Immaculate one so... she probably viewed the Nabateans as inhuman / 'godlike' beasts ?
I'm so confused by this whole situation!
She would know from the chapel incident (where Jeralt gets murdered) that Demonic Beasts come from Crest Stones, as that was the purpose of testing on the students. We know she knows this because she specifically pilfers the Holy Tomb for the Crest Stones due to wanting to use this power for herself (more clearly stated in the JPN version).
She would know that Nabatean blood does something to humans, due to Flayn's kidnapping and Remire. She also knows that Nabateans are of some sort of use to TWS, hence her keeping Rhea hostage to use as leverage against TWS in non-CF routes. The experiments also play into this.
She knows that Relics were made by humans, and aren't gifts from the goddess. Whether she knows that they were made from specifically genocide is unclear, although she does know that Seiros and Nemesis had some sort of bad blood (which she calls a "simple dispute," tho we of course know it goes infinitely further than that). It's also, if I remember right, unclear if she knows the exact reason why she needed a custom made Relic for her to use (with that reason of course being that Rhea isn't dead and so hasn't been scrapped for her parts).
She believes that a "so-called" goddess exists, that the "so-called" goddess is connected to Rhea and Byleth via a bloodline, and that Byleth has the power of the "so-called" goddess. She explicitly calls Rhea the Immaculate One... which she calls a vile beast, and which she explicitly seeks to obliterate from the world (along with Rhea's kin, aka Nabateans - again, more clearly shown in the JPN version). She tells Rhea that she never betrayed her or Sothis because she never believed in them in the first place... but also tells Dimitri that among those who have clung to their faith in the goddess, lost their souls, and lived without purpose, she could be "counted among those who have died that way as well." Which is pretty contradictory lol, she's lying in one of these scenarios.
So basically, she knows that Nabatean blood and their Crest Stones can grant power to humans (if one, uh, has no morals to speak of), she knows that Relics are man-made, and she believes there is some sort of being with some sort of godly-adjacent powers that Rhea and Byleth are connected to by blood. It's unclear whether she knows the exact details of the Nabatean genocide and the full truth of Relics' origins, but she does know that Nabateans are of some kind of value to TWS (enough to know she can use a Nabatean to keep them in line with her wants). Her beliefs are fairly unclear when it comes to actual faith, as she either lied to Rhea's face about never believing in her and Sothis or she lied to Dimitri's face about ever having faith in the goddess.
It's kinda hard to piece everything together because it's spread out, not focused on much, and/or actively contradicting itself, so I don't blame you for not getting it lol

The Angel, The Demon
So last night, I noticed my friend and their partner had matching profile pictures of Asriel and Chara. They told me it was from an album cover, for an album called "The Angel, The Demon". It... got me thinking.
Asriel and Chara, they're both Angels.
"There is a prophecy. The Angel… The One Who Has Seen The Surface… They will return. And the underground will go empty."
Let's see.
Asriel Dreemurr has seen the surface, being mortally wounded there, and dying in the underground. He returns as Flowey, before absorbing all of the human and monster souls, and assuming his true form once again. His name is very close to Azrael, the angel of death. He even sprouts wings in his second phase. And ultimately, the underground goes empty, thanks to him breaking the barrier and allowing the monsters to go freely to the surface.
Chara is originally from the surface, and it is there that their body is laid to rest. They return after Frisk's fall into the Underground, awakened by their (or your) power. At the end of the Genocide Route, if you have completed it twice, they acknowledge themselves as the demon that comes when its name is called. They are a fallen angel, on multiple levels. And ultimately, the underground goes empty, thanks to your own help and their own power, as the world and all of the people in it are erased forever.
And how do you meet both of them? You have to embody the type of person their symbolism suggests.
To meet Asriel in his true form, you must complete the True Pacifist route, befriending everyone, performing good deeds for them. It's the route the game encourages, and it is ultimately the most rewarding. The player must be an angel to meet an angel. At the end, the game gives you a choice, to forgive and comfort Asriel in spite of all he's done wrong as Flowey.
To meet Chara in the flesh, you must complete the Genocide route to its fullest extent, killing everyone with no mercy, seeking out every target. It's slow, it's dull, but it was you who chose the path of sins. The player must be a demon, to meet a demon. At the end, the game gives you a choice in ending the world, but saying no only means its end will be more painful.
This whole dichotomy between Light and Dark, it's been in Undertale since the beginning. Angel, or Demon? True Pacifist, or Genocide? Asriel, or Chara. And as noted at the beginning, it even ties back to the game's own prophecy of the Delta Rune. Demons, after all, are just angels who have fallen. And Chara has fallen, in more ways than one.
Now, Deltarune is technically an entire different game, but let's look at Deltarune through the lens of Undertale's prophecy, through that idea of the angel and the demon.
The contrast between Ralsei and Noelle is very similar to that of Asriel and Chara. A demon, an angel, one from the dark, one from the light. For the purposes of this analysis, let's say the "surface" in Undertale's prophecy corresponds with the light world in Deltarune.
Ralsei is from the dark, but he knows a lot more about the light world than he lets on. Whether he can truly see it or whether it's just intuition about the layout, is yet to be known, but the latter can still be interpreted as "seeing" it. He makes the dark worlds go empty by bringing their inhabitants to the main dark world, the one in the school closet, comparable to how Asriel allows the monsters to go to the surface. And yet, do you see the horns? The way he essentially helps you "erase this world, and move onto the next"? The way the game makes you distrust him through his little off-screen chats with Kris, and withholding crucial details on the prophecy? Ralsei is, although a kind one, a demon.
Noelle is originally from the light world, but sometimes it doesn't feel like it's her first time in the dark. Queen recognizes her as powerful, and Spamton reveres her as... well. She can help make the dark world, at least the Cyber World, go empty, by freezing everyone in it to death. It's cold, and it's terrifying, yet... her outfit and demeanor, it's almost pure. She just thinks she's getting stronger, that it's a dream. She wears a pure white dress, she's referred to by Spamton as [Angel]. Noelle is, for all intents and purposes, an angel.
And what about the gameplay? Well...
Following Ralsei's direction means you cannot even kill enemies whatsoever, at least while he's around. You get no choice, you either befriend them, or they flee. You get no choice but to erase each dark world, and under his instruction, bring all of the recruited folk back to the main one. And with each new dark fountain created, you have no choice but to move onto the next. And yet, even though this is the route the game railroads you on, it's not necessarily... encouraged? Sure, Ralsei tells you not to commit violence, but nothing stops you from doing so anyway and making everyone hate you. In fact, going violent in Deltarune has, unless you follow the very specific steps of Snowgrave, no downside other than... not recruiting people.
When you're with Noelle, though. Well, you've gotta check out what the IceShock spell does, right? Freezing enemies? The game almost encourages you to try it out once she joins your party, and seek out new targets. While the Genocide Route was a slog, the Snowgrave Route allows you to freeze almost every enemy with ease, to take back that agency that the main route steals. Even in the normal route, taking back your agency from the prophecy and cutting your own strings is encouraged by Spamton, but it ultimately tells you that gets you nowhere. But through Noelle, you can break free, if even a little. Your choices can make an impact, even if it means sacrificing the agency and well-being of someone else.
In this way, Ralsei and Noelle are very close to sharing that same angel/demon dichotomy, except now, the angel acts like a demon, and the demon acts like an angel. And, strangely, the angel is still considered good by the gameplay, but the story and prophecy says otherwise. The line between light and dark is strangely blurred, for a game all about the two. Typing that, I can't help but ponder this cryptic tweet from Toby Fox himself in 2011 which says "The edge of the shadow, where reality and dream meet."
Asriel is an angel, whose purpose of making the underground go empty is pure, even if he had to temporarily take all of those souls to realize it was what he had to do. Chara is a demon, a fallen angel, whose method of making the underground go empty is cruel, and the point you have to get to in order to do so is even more so.
Ralsei is a demon, but his cause is still supposedly just, he helps erase each world but still attempts to save the people in them - after all, having only one dark world is preferable to the Roaring. Noelle is an angel, but her method of "emptying the dark world" is cruel, and the way you control her to do so is even more so.
And let's talk about "the Angel's Heaven" for a bit. I believe the Angel's Heaven is likely another name for the Roaring, or rather, the world left behind in its wake. Tying this back to the idea of Undertale's prophecy, the Roaring is an event which leaves one empty husk, of a world in shadow. Those who inhabit the light world, the surface, must create the dark fountains, and if they manage to cause the Roaring, they've likely been to the dark world before.
So, even though Undertale and Deltarune are supposedly different worlds, you can still connect the two games via the Delta Rune, a symbol of prophecy in both worlds, with a much heavier focus in the latter. But, the prophecy of the first echoes far more true in each than you could ever imagine.
