Good Morning!☀️
For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37
Mary had just been told by the angel Gabriel that she was to be the mother of Jesus, the Son of God. Being a virgin she marveled at how this could be. Gabriel explained to her that the Holy Spirit would come upon her and start the conception process. To bolster her faith, he revealed to her that her cousin Elisabeth, who had been unable to have children all her life, was now six months pregnant. Mary knew that Elisabeth was past the normal childbearing years as well, so this was certainly a miracle!
Gabriel left Mary with words that we would do good to remember: For with God nothing shall be impossible! Keep this in mind when you face seemingly impossible situations. The impossible is possible with God!

You know, it's fitting that the word "kink" is used in the sense that it is.
A kink is a torque in something, a twist that mutilates and corrupts the original form, making it useless for it's intended purpose. It is almost impossible to completely smooth out.
Words have meanings. Meanings have reasons.

Impossible
“With God all things are possible.”
It’s a great line from today’s Gospel. One of my favorites. Tailor-made for social media.
But what does it really mean? Here’s the set up – Jesus tells His disciples, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”
Their response? “That’s impossible!”
Jesus tells them, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Why does the context matter? Because this isn’t about you or me doing something that we think is important, and then trying to prop it up by claiming God’s promise.
Because the promise is about doing the will of God.
The example of the rich person isn’t about wealth being bad. It’s about the risk that always come with wealth – the dangers of losing perspective, getting too attached to it, and letting it become your idol.
It’s also about the fact that spiritual struggles are part of everyone’s lives. Even for people whose lives look easy (from the outside).
Jesus’s point is that spiritual struggles are hard. So hard, that they can seem impossible.
Where does God’s promise fit in all that?
God’s promise fits in when we’re trying to do God’s will in our life. When we’re trying to put God first. When we’re trying to let God lead.
That’s hard. Because sometimes God is going to call us to do things that we don’t understand, that (from our limited human perspective) don’t make sense.
The thing is, when we do – when we step out in faith, following God’s call, not trying to figure it all out in advance? That’s when God shows forth in our lives in ways that we could never imagine. That’s where lives are changed and the miraculous happens.
That is where God’s promise fits in. God’s got this, even if we don’t understand it.
“Unless you are willing to do the ridiculous, God will not do the miraculous. When you have God, you don’t have to know everything about it; you just do it.” – Mother Angelica

Stretching Time
You know the deal. We stretch our faith and go for it – as in: “Yes, we’re buying a home” or “Yes, I’m changing jobs — the pay is less, but it’s what I love to do.” Or, like my beloved sis and brother-in-law, they are retiring. It’s been a stretch for them to train the couple that will take their place. And, a stretch to think they won’t have the same income coming in. We talked about it and they…

guys, i think the hermits are going to accidentally start a prank war again. because just like last time, a game of telephone has begun.
first, false made iskall's build into ''false beans,'' her shop from the previous season. however, to give herself plausible deniability, she signs it with "love, Joel. x" due to his username, smallishbeans.
next, iskall sees this, and completely believes it. he thinks it was joel who pranked him, and as he says to pearl while showing off the sign, which he kept even after tearing the prank down, "joel gave me a kiss." in his most recent video, he pranks joel by sending him loads of anonymous messages in order to completely spam and fill his inbox, preventing him from getting any more mail, with notes such as "thinking about you. x"
of course, joel is going to have absolutely no context for this, because he didn't make the initial prank. so who is joel going to assume sent him all those messages while he was away on holiday? well, i have a guess.
etho.
