The Traveler was once a living, breathing human being. But that all changed when he signed up for a paid clinical drug trial that went horribly wrong. He was injected with a powerful new psychedelic drug, and within minutes, he started experiencing intense hallucinations. He saw his own body lying on the ground, lifeless and cold. Then, he saw himself standing over his own corpse, looking down at it with a feeling of detached horror.
He knew he was dead. But somehow, he was still conscious. And somehow, he could still move. He stumbled out of the room where the drug trial had taken place, into a world that was now completely unfamiliar to him. Everything was distorted and strange. The colors were too bright, the sounds too loud.
He kept moving, drawn forward by an inexplicable force. He had to find out what had happened to him. And he had to find out how to undo it. He soon realized that he had the ability to travel through time. And so he began to jump from one moment to the next, searching for a way to change his fate.
But no matter how many times he tried, he couldn't find a way to undo what had been done. He was stuck in a never-ending cycle of death and rebirth. And so he kept moving forward, through time and space, searching for a way out. But he never stopped to rest, and he never stopped to mourn his own death. He was The Traveler, and he would keep moving until he found a way to break free.
