Here’s Wyverns adoption page. If you’re in WA state he’s truly an excellent puppy who needs a home. I’d love to stay in contact and would be delighted to help with training if he ends up being the right dog for you.

My betrothed and I were allergic to him, and after ten days they started experiencing anaphylaxis in proximity with him so we had to give him up. He knows sit, down, wait, and come, with growing name recognition and recall.

Still working on leash manners and potty training.

Once again thinking about the Dragon Damian and Tim AU.

I just love the idea of Tim trying to guide Damian and Damian saying "I don't need you, go away!".

A small thing to explain:

Damian is dragon-blooded. As such his monsterous side came out with his puberty, when that side started to take over.

It's important to say that he will lose his "human side" completely once he survives to adulthood.

This is also why his grandfather wants to see him dead.

(The only reason why he allowed Talia to live was because she didn't have a drop of Dragon blood in her veins, as it skipped her)

Tim on the other hand was always a dragon.

He hatched from an egg and was bathed in blood, gold, and iron when it happened.

(Dragon Eggs are created from riches like gold, jewels, etc. As such, they also look like a gem and the Drakes didn't know better. When Tim hatched, the molten gold that was inside the egg destroyed half of Jack's office. He bit Janet out of hunger, drawing blood. His parents fell in love with him that very moment)

So, Tim knows how to control his Dragon side and what it is like to go through puberty.

He also knows that Damian is Bruce's Pup. Just like Cass, Jason, Dick, and later Duke.

Since he had "claimed" Bruce as his treasure when he was 10, it also meant that Bruce's Pup(s) are part of that treasure.

It would just be nice if the kid allowed him to help.

A few bonding moments:

Tim helping Damian build a nest. Said nest is supposed to be a safe place that makes you feel protected. He also added some of his clothes to make him see that his scent meant safety.

Tim taking Damian flying. Damian's wings aren't mature/big enough for him to take flight yet. I personally headcanon Tim as a wyvern, a type of dragon that is a master of the sky, so it's sweet of him to share his passion.

Tim shows Damian how to take care of his horns and scales. Especially once he started molting. Grooming is really important for dragons, as healthy scales will look like shiny gems.

Tim getting really pissy at Ras Al Ghul and destroying some of his bases together with Damian (and Jason).

Tim has to explain that they will out age everyone in their family. Even their future nibblings and the generation after them. Also, Damian helps Tim through the depressive episode he has afterward.

Happy WBW! I'm missing my family pup, so what kind of pets are kept in your world?

Convenient ask, I have a cat sitting on my lap right now! I hope you get to see the family pup soon.

In ARMV, they do still have dogs and cats and such, but I think they also have fantasy pets. Maybe some of the tinier wyvern species, or griffins for people who frequently travel for work (kinda like having a horse, but far more dangerous and requiring a permit). Eli wants a pet griffin. Ambrose does not.

Sir, we have a wyvern on school grounds and Mr. Draconia didn't seem to like the creature. The creature was a rather lovely individual like an excited pup but I think Mr. Draconia is rather umm, I believe the word would be, skirmish. He doesn''t like it when the wyvern sniffs at his retainers. I might used my UM to have them in a docile state if it comes to that which I would rather not. And Lilia... he's not helping.

A Stranger I Remain (Open RP)

The sun was shining brightly over the verdant hills and Fenrir as usual,continues his way of going wherever and whenever it suits him and not caring if he was close to a settlement or in the middle of a trade route. He is currently sitting on the hill in the middle of area 4 that leads into area 5. He was simply content with himself and felt the calm breeze on his face… Then,a particularly unpleasant memory rushed into his head… In the citadel…That evening… the blood of his mate and unborn pups… the walls of his den… every inch of it…stained in their blood… their corpses… the very sight…haunted him… never again does he want to be remind of his failures as a mate…and as a father. Deciding to leave the verdant hills,Fenrir got up and ran towards the boarder of the verdant hills. After about and hour of running,he ended up getting distracted by blue lighting flashing in the distance,followed by the roar of an Astalos. From observing hunters fighting an Astalos, Fenrir knew if he ended up bumping into one,he’d be in for quite a fight. After about a while and Just before he could refocus on leaving the verdant hills,the fanged wyvern crashed into another monster and let out a yelp in surprise,then the two went tumbling down.

Soon after,The Lunagaron and the monster he crashed into stopped tumbling and separated from each other. Fenrir quickly got up to face the monster…His eyes widened at the sight of a Deviant…the Boltreaver Astalos got up as well… Already Fenrir was annoyed but he did not falter… Ice began to form across his body… his ears got longer… His back spikes grew longer…his claws bigger and sharper and the fanged wyvern stood bipedal and let out a loud roar that sounded like cold winds blowing in,followed immediately by an even louder howl. Then he charged at the flying wyvern…

The battle was long…the battle was bloody… The Boltreaver Astalos was still alive…although covered in numerous laceration wounds and bleeding heavily from said laceration wounds,it’s wings ripped to pieces… part of It’s tail sliced to ribbons… and much of it’s crest…torn to shreds… the fanged wyvern has claimed victory…although the lunagaron did not walk away from the battle without some injuries of his own… a broken claw,numerous scars across his body from the Astalos’s talons and a broken hind leg. While Fenrir knew he had to stop in order to recover from his injuries,he can’t… not while he’s out in the open… He coughed up blood and the fanged wyvern was whining from the amount of pain he was under from his broken left hind leg that he kept lifted off the ground… but he didn’t let that stop him from trying to leave the verdant hills and continued limping… after few hours of limping, Fenrir took a short break to lick his wounds… he started with the small cut on his right paw… then moved on to a slightly bigger scar on his shoulder that was bleeding a little… Now satisfied with his little excessive licking session, the Lunagaron slowly got up while trying not to worsen his leg injury. He shut his eyes tightly and gnashed his teeth from the pain of his broken leg. Unable to take the agony anymore, Fenrir howled out loudly in pain… Now back on his…er-three feet, Fenrir continued limping his way out of the verdant hills.

After hours of continuous limping,Fenrir could see Kokoto village in the corner of his eyes. Thoughts began rushing into his head… What if Kokoto village sent their hunter after Fenrir? Would they be hostile to him just passing by? Would they leave him alone? Are they aware of the name some called him… “Garm”? The Lunagaron always hated being called by that name. While he never ever bothered with getting to know the humans and wyverians,he did hear from somewhere the chief of Kokoto village was a legendary hunter until the 5 incident. “Hmph… probably deserved it…” The lunagaron muttered to himself. Then he let out a very loud but short yelp from sudden intense pain from his broken hind leg and he whined from the agony it was inflicting onto him… he was panting and quite heavily at that to catch his breath and calm down. The he decided to catch a small break,Fenrir laid down on his side and went to sleep in an effort to ignore the sheer pain and agony his left hind leg was causing him.

Part of Fenrir wanted to get as far away from the village as possible but at the same time… the lunagaron knew if he continued and passes by the village,his leg will never heal…and he’d be condemning himself to death… But after the amount of poacher camps he escaped from,after all the blood that stained his claws and canines… Why should he trust humans now? They’ve never given him good enough reason to trust them,and why should the fanged wyvern trust them now? Taking one final look at the too-close-for-comfort Kokoto village,the lunagaron closes his eyes and attempts to get sleep, still whining and whimpering from the sheer pain of his broken leg.

I’m playing Baldur’s Gate 3 for the first time, here’s some personal experience funny bits:

My first fail was a charisma thing, where I had both guidance and a -1 modifier

When discovering Astarion was a vampire, I thought ‘Surely he won’t kill me? He said he’d only take as much as he needed.’ I did not wake up from that night.

I managed to fail a DC 2 check, while I had a +2 modifer

I refuse to pressure Shadowheart into talking about the artifact. She can keep her secrets.

I had to look up if my party members would get upset at me about asking them to stay in camp.

On that note, I was also dumb enough to be tricked into wiping worg dung on my face. I did not get to see the supposed worg pups.

I have had to replay the same fight at least three times because SOMEONE’S fire keep crashing my game.

I also had to reload the game because I was thrown in prison trying to find Halsin.

I asked Astarion to poison me if I start to change into a mind flayer (later got Wyvern poison to do the job.) When I offered to return the favor, Astarion got all defensive, as if he didn’t bring it up.

My party, early on, consisted of myself (a wood elf), Shadowheart (a high half-elf), Astarion (a high elf), and Gale (human). If we needed to, we might have been able to pretend to be a family.

I'm sure now realizing about my precious, some of you would notice that he's kind of like Necrozma from Pokémon. But at least in my eyes, his look is like a crossover between that and Garchomp. One of those two Pokémon is known as the Mach Pokémon, while the other is known as the prism Pokémon. And AKA, the blinding one. One is a dragon that is a wyvern and based on a hammerhead shark with a jet inspired look, and the other is a crystalline star dragon with four wings. And yes, he's pretty much a world destroyer. No one beats him. And no, you don't need to bow down to him like some sort of god-like thing. In the Pokémon world, he is these five types all merged in at once... Ghost, steel, psychic, dragon, and rock. He gets these five typing for an obvious reason. Ghost makes sense because of his undead appearance. Steel makes sense cuz his name is basically the name after a metal, or at least the hunting of a metal. Psychic is because he gets his powers on light, Dragon is based on his animal species, and rock is based on his other half of his elemental fusion. And despite his spectral undead appearance, he is extremely kind and is very friendly to people, but if is provoked enough, he has enough power to literally shatter universes just by roaring. So, you better not make this dragon mad. And one of his secret powers is this: any one evil that he sees, he sucks their life out with his light, draining their soul and power alone, and then converting it into his own core, storing it in for extra energy and power of his own, which basically means he consumes villain powers, converts their powers from their original way into his own energy, but never uses the powers of the ones he has recently destroyed by draining their life. This is also another reason of why he earns the ghost typing in Pokémon. And even though he dissolves the souls of villains and shatters universes, he is actually the kindest out of the dragon bunch of 5 in total (Venom in second), despite his scary look.

Summoning Trouble has so many cool pets. One of the MCs has a service dragon named Thistle (she's a moth dragon and super cute and I would gush about her all the time if I could). Another of the characters is looking after his grandma's pet sized basilisk (named Mitzy). There's mention of a woman running with a wyvern through a park, and house griffins (very small) are kind of like pigeons and some people do keep them as pets!

Basically, if people could breed it to be small and domesticated they could, so this happened a lot with the lesser dragons. Sooo dragon pets! (there are high dragons, they are not pets, they are forces of nature)

One of our neighbors is this nosy lady with an awful little chihuahua that comes up and barks at us and shits where it wants because she never has it on leash. It makes me furious.

She saw me taking Wyvern out and asked if he was new. I said yes, he’s still getting the hang of things. She asked his breed and he’s honest to god the muttiest mutt I’ve ever seen. Big time dog people in my life are stumped when they see him because he’s honestly bizarre and doesn’t harken very strongly to any established breed.

When I said he was a mutt though she said, “Probably a pit bull, look at that face!”

And I looked at Wyverns face and was frankly shocked anyone would think he looked like a pit bull. But from her tone and body language I was wary of her spreading it around and said truthfully, “Well, the only thing all the siblings in his litter looked like was border collie, so probably the most of that.”

She wandered away unconvinced and I told my betrothed later, “Okay, I need you to practice this lie with me.”

“Okay?”

“When people ask what Wyvern is you’re gonna say he’s a border collie, akita mix, okay?”

They laughed but agreed. It’s a weird enough mix that I doubt he’ll raise eyebrows and his coloring could be Akita for all I know.

There’s way more mistrust and legislation against pitbulls that I feel is undeserved, but we’ll certainly be worse off if she starts spreading around that he’s a pibble.

He’s not sure she’s allowed to do that, but it looks badass, and he sees more than a few of the Wyverns glancing over as she stalks toward Arthur like a cat stalks its prey. The rest of the team has quieted down, so everyone can hear her when she starts to speak: “Arthur. You’re captain now, aren’t you?” Arthur looks around, hand coming up to run through the hair at the nape of his neck. “Yes. You know that.” “I do,” Morgana agrees. “I just wanted to be sure you knew that too.” Arthur scoffs, once again turning to some of his teammates, though this time none meet his eyes. “Is there something you need, Morgana?”

The Waifus (Kyle, Reverto, Cheval, Alwin, Lilia, Ena, Kayna, and Avinia) with an S/O who has a Lunagaron Pup

Kyle

-A lunagaron pup is born full of fluff to help keep it warm in harsh and cold environments. That is, until their icy abilities come through and they lose the fur. To Kyle, you having a lunagaron baby doesn’t surprise him. However, don’t expect him to help out much with it. Even if he loves you, he’s still a hunter and you are the rider. The pup is your responsibility.

-But then your lunagaron gets attached to Kyle. It starts to follow him around everywhere and wants to play whenever possible. Kyle acts like he hates it, trying to shoo the pup away. But in private, you’ve viewed him playing with the baby monster. From then on, you teasingly call him “dad” to your little wyvern pup.

Reverto

-He’s gotten the honor to fight a lunagaron before, so to see one when it’s just a pup is absolutely adorable. Cue the big tough hunter cooing over the fluffy little baby as it just stares at him. Reverto doesn’t think too much of it if you ask to help him because he’s helped you with monsties in the past. So, he will gladly take the responsibility of helping the lunagaron.

-That said, the little monster takes advantage of that. Reverto becomes a chew toy to the little guy, but he doesn’t push the baby away. Instead, Reverto takes pride in it being able to trust him. Still, you get madly embarrassed when the hunter announces himself as a father without even explaining the context behind the situation. Now everyone thinks you’ve have actual human children. Thanks, Reverto.

Cheval

-Like Kyle, Cheval isn’t so surprised that you managed to find a lunagaron pup. He wants to hear all about how you met it, even though the thought of you facing an adult worried him greatly. Admittedly, Cheval finds the pup adorable, and you can find him giving it plenty of attention. Yes, he will gladly assume responsibility for it. After all, he treats it like it’s your child.

-Rathi’s intense maternal instincts come in handy here. Sometimes a baby monster is hard to handle, but that’s where the rathian comes in. When you or Cheval are in a bind, Rathi swoops in to sort things out. She kind of becomes a mentor to the lunagaron, who listens to her really well for some reason. This is really like having an actual baby because you and Cheval can go out together while Rathi watches the little monstie.

Alwin

-Alwin is really practical about the situation. While you treat the lunagaron like a baby, Alwin treats it like a monstie. He doesn’t get too attached to the pup, even though it gets rather attached to him. Catch the wyverian walking around Rutoh with a little lunagaron stumbling behind him. While Alwin gets flustered by its obvious affection for him, Shaulk finds it incredibly amusing.

-Eventually, with your encouragement, starts to bond more with your lunagaron. Soon, you find Alwin stroking his hands over its soft fur while it cuddles in his lap. He may leave the training to you, but he will gladly watch it if you need a break. However, his entire facade will shatter if you call him your pup’s “daddy” in front of others. 

Lilia

-Of course, she is enthralled by the appearance of a lunagaron baby. Mostly because the Guild doesn’t know too much about the life cycle of these wyverns due to their aggression and intense habitats. She takes every opportunity to be with your monstie, bonding with it and learning its behavior. That said, she only does so with your permission.

-Soon, your pup learns to like Lilia, giving her little puppy kisses now and again because, as you say, she’s its mother. You can catch her with a little journal, trying to draw little sketches of your lunagaron as it runs around with something it’s definitely not supposed to have in its mouth. Cue you and Lilia chasing it all over to get it.

Ena

-Ena bonds with all monsters because of her kind and soft nature. This is now different with your lunagaron puppy, who almost seems to like her more than it likes you. Ena spoils the baby rotten, brushing its fur to giving it treats to just letting it sleep with her. At this point, you wonder if it will let her ride it when it’s older.

-She doesn’t mind being the more maternal one in this relationship, making sure your monstie’s needs are all met while pampering it as well. I mean, Ena does the same for you, so she doesn’t mind doing it to your monsties, especially when they are so cute. In fact, your lunagaron pup is probably the one monstie that you’ve seen her be so cuddly with.

Kayna

-At first, she doesn’t even know what it is. All she sees is you with one of the cutest baby monsters she’s ever seen. Kayna only grows more curious when she sees its a lunagaron. Cue her ruffling its little puppy fur as it squirms to get away. Yes, your monstie is kind of afraid of her, but not in a fearful way, if that makes sense. It seems to enjoy annoying her, is what I mean, much to Avmar’s amusement.

-Speaking of Avmar, the velocidrome pays no mind to whatever pickle his rider got in. In fact, he seems to disappear when this lunagaron gets into mischief with Kayna. Luckily, you are there to put a stop to things before scolding your monstie to not put his “mom” through anymore turmoil than she needs to go through.

Avinia

-Living in Loloska, Avinia meets many a monster that’s adapted to the cold. However, this is the first time she’s met a lunagaron. Of course, Avinia being Avinia, will immediately be drawn to its floof. In fact, she won’t even be listening to you as she is so distracted by its cuteness. Her coddling is what makes your lunagaron adore her.

-This gets to the point where Frostfang gets jealous, but he knows better than to attack the baby, so he just gets all pouty. However, Avinia has natural maternal instincts, and does a great job at juggling time between her “babies”. Sometimes even you get jealous with how much time she spends with your lunagaron. However, she’s also quite good at making time for you.

1. Yoshio is a moose!! big, strong guy with an intimidating aura who CAN fuck you up but is very protective and loyal to people he loves. wolves are also one of the few predators of moose, emphasizing how kira is one of the few people yoshio will follow. also imagining eight as a little otter pup going up against this huge moose guy is so funny yet scary. pray for him i dont think he's gonna make it 🥲

Genjuro is a snapping turtle!! dont have a specific species for him, so im just keeping him as a generic snapping turtle. i originally had turtle as a placeholder animal for him (since genbu is a turtle) cause i feel like there are animals that fit him better, but the more i thought on it the more i got attached to turtle genjuro 😌. in the metal furry universe i imagine he uses his toothpick thing as a way to hold back from biting the other dna bladers lmao

3. Captain Arrow is a bat!! i imagine him specifically as a ryukyu flying fox but it doesnt matter that much to me. i chose bats because they're very similar to wyverns, plus batman is a superhero and it just felt so perfect (also bat!arrow x turtle!genjuro........ batman x tmnt). arrow is just totally a dude who'd hang upside down for fun lol.

4. Spike is a red kangaroo!! he's shown boxing in multiple scenes so in metal furry he can be a kangaroo kickboxer 💪💪💪i also hc him as Australian so it worked out. spike doesnt have much to his character but i like to think he's a very nurturing guy in his own way, where he constantly reminds people to take care of themselves, albeit kinda aggressively but hey.

5. Baihu is a cat that has tiger stripes painted onto him!! idk how baihu's backstory would work in the metal furry universe maybe he got adopted by a tiger person who lived in solitude away from civilization 🤷. regardless, i feel like him just being a cat and not a tiger fits his backstory way more, though he still believes he is one.

6. Karura is a Brahminy kite!! Garudas is based on Garuda, a Hindu bird deity, which in turn has been linked to kites/eagles. plus with Karura's whole controlling the elements shtick it just makes sense yk. Brahminy kites also have very distinct plumage with a brown-colored body and a white head, it reminded me of Karura's design a lot. maybe he dyes his feathers blue to match the sky 👀

so i made some pirate dragons

and here they are

Rapscallion (aka Captain Scally aka Scallywag) - Captain of the Gilded Skyline

-uses he/they/xe/vey/wyv/wyvern pronouns as well as any pirate-related neos

-A tribrid sand/mud/seawing - he’s mostly a sorta pale sandy color but has brown along his spine and the edges of his wings and talons. there’s a dusting of brown scales around his face that looks like stubble/a beard. he has a sandwing’s tail barb and the glowy scales of a seawing. the glowy scales glow a pale blue that’s like the sky - there are green scales kinda mushed in with his brown scales, and some pale blue spotted on his sandy scales - his eyes are a dark gray-brown

-he chose his name

-does not have gills, but can hold his breath for a very long time (like 3 hours or so)

-probably bi or gay tbh i dunno

-very high spirited! always seems to be laughing and having a merry time with his crew - he chose all of them himself and loves them like family. he’s got the energy of a favorite uncle

-very skilled fighter. he made his ship with his own two claws, and a good captain always goes down with their ship

Petrichor (aka Petti aka Parrot aka Parrot 2.0) - First Mate

-she/they/fae/he and pirate neos

-a hybrid rain/sea (and possibly leaf)wing - mostly keeps their scales shades of indigo and green but scales change color according to the rainwing color chart and what not - their seawing glow scales can be any color! - eyes are blue and gold

-she’s Rapscallion’s best friend

-Petrichor and Scally learned aquatic together and then had their own made up sorta dialect for aquatic (it’s basically just pirate speak lol)

-also very high-spirited

-Petrichor and Rapscallion have learned how to balance out each other’s nonsense - one of them knows when to be serious and can reign the other in and they work very well together

-Petrichor is very good with their claws, she can sew

-really good with knots

-not so great at fighting but can hold his own

-has gills and can breathe underwater

Scallop - (aka Sea Pup aka...Scallop) - Cabin Boy

-he/him, trying out they and pirate neos (not a big fan of neos but alright with they/them atm)

-sand/mudwing hybrid who looks a lot like Rapscallion but without the green and blue seawing bits - eyes are a dark brown

-a lot of dragons think Scallop and Rapscallion are brothers - Rapscallion says they are, Scallop always denies it

-doesn’t know why or how he’s here. but. he’s here

-not the most approachable dragon on the ship but if you befriend him he will die for you

-probably still a dragonet and the youngest member of the crew

Crow - (aka...Crow) - The Lookout

-he/she

-a night/seawing hybrid - scales are very, very black, there’s no underlying purple or dark blue, just black like a void -his glow scales are a super pale blue that’s almost white - they have gills and can breathe underwater - her eyes are bright yellow

-basically lives up in the crow’s nest to the point where instead of being called “The Crows Nest” it’s referred to as “Crow’s Nest” and she sleeps up there sometimes

-almost completely silent except for when he decides to yell at the other crewmates from the crow’s nest

-she’s the ship’s alarm clock and sings at the top of her lungs to get everyone up

Parrot - (aka Parrot the First aka Parrot 1.0 aka The Cooler Parrot) - Gunner

-he/she/they

-rain/skywing who keeps their scales blinding vibrant parrot colors (mostly red, orange, and yellow but sometimes blue or green) and has huge wings - eyes are bright orange

-probably has an eye patch

-loves blowing stuff up

-has venom that burns longer than a regular rainwing’s would, but no fire

-Parrot and Crow are the second and third mate but they have no idea who is second and who is third and whenever the topic comes up they argue about it for hours (Rapscallion does not help with this at all, mans seems to enjoy watching the chaos unfold ajsdlfkajsfd)

Guppy (aka Gup) - Medic/Cook

-he/him

-mud/seawing hybrid - mostly green and brown (with a splash of blue), has the vibes of a swamp creature - eyes are dark blue and green

-talks in his sleep and always mumbling to himself - doesn’t talk to the crew at any volume louder than a murmur unless he’s shouting back at Crow (cause he’s not about to ignore crow that’d be rude)

-works with Scallop the most, attempting to teach the lad how to cook

-has gills but terrified of the thought of trying to breathe underwater so he mostly just holds his breath when he swims
