Matpat Egos with a Winged!Reader

Characters: Matpat, Madpat, Mack (crewmate/engineer/dictator), The Detective, The Hermit, Warfpat

Matpat

The minute he sees you he's all 🤨👀🧐. He's uh... Not really used to seeing entity's or hybrids or other egos, so sometimes he forgets that not everyone is human. Fully human, anyways.

He's really interested in them, though! (Even if you might take it a different way due to his facial expressions 😭) He mainly wants to study them and understand how they work, but outside of him wanting to know everything about them, he thinks they're really cool! And soft, he sometimes picks up stray feathers that have slipped for them. Is also immediately there if you mention needing help preening. I mean, c'mon! A) their soft, B) you like it and C), he likes it! I don't think he really understands that preening is usually done by uh....yk. Not new friends, let's say.

Probably asks if he can fly with you once and then starts crying the second you're both 0.1 centimeter of the ground 🙄

5/10 very helpful, but also very annoying.

Madpat

"That's cool, now if you don't mind I'm on fire and-" IM JOKING IM JOKI- He's not tho

He thinks they look amazing! He likes the markings/colours on them, and asks you about them.

The only thing he's curious about though is, how do you balance with them? They look very heavy they are and are certainly bigger than you.

As long as you're okay though, he doesn't mind!

He's heard about preening before, but has absolutely no idea what it is exactly or how it works. He reminds you about it daily, though.

He also collects the feathers that fall out, but gives them back to you instead of keeping them. Probably keeps one or two to study them, though.

He won't ever tell you this, but he is very intimated and turned on when he sees your wings stretched out at full height. Just sorta 'eeps' and scuttles away.

He's also very careful with his weapons when he's around you, since he knows that if he swings stuff around too much he could hurt you :(

Probably turns on his chainsaw every now and then and then giggles like the bastard he his when you jump

Stops after the first few times though, since sometimes you knock stuff over with your wings, and also, you have wings. He does not. You will and have suddenly flown of with him as revenge. And he knows you'll do it again.

Mack (crewmate)

You'll definitely know the first time he sees them since it'll be silent and then you'll hear a little "oh!"

He's like a little puppy and just follows you around everywhere, and it's very obvious that he has a lot of questions.

He's too nervous to ask you outright though, probably asking Celci to ask you since he knows that if he asked Mark then Mark would tease him and he'd probably die tbh-

You definitely notice that he's following/staring at you, so sometimes if you stretch n yawn you make sure to stretch your wings full height so he can see.

Also picks up feathers bro why do all of them but instead of waiting till your gone like the others, it'll be a mad scramble to get them before they hit the ground. What can I say, he's a little bit of a germaphobe.

He doesn't really know what they fully feel like, but from what he knows they're very soft and silky, you obviously take good care of them.

His favourite pastime is ruffling them so their all fluffy :)

One day when the two of you are alone you feel him staring for the bazillionth time that day, so you eventually cave and tell him he can touch them if he wants too.

Mack is processing-

When he does, he'll be so excited! And nervous. His hands are probably shaking. Eventually though he melts into it, and actually finds it very relaxing both of you. Probably turns into an accidental preening session.

Mack (Engineer)

Instantly notices, how could he not? He absolutely adores him, but acts as if they're a massive nuisance all of the time (We're not stupid, Mack-)

Cleans up your feathers after you, all the time, even though you haven't asked him too.

Sometimes you shed more on purpose because it's funny to hear him mumble stuff like "If I were Captain, I wouldn't leave feathers all over the place!" Yeah yeah sure, we know you have a big fat crush on-

Every single feather he collects, he keeps in a little cabinet in his room. If anyone where to ask he'd get very flustered, but is reasoning is "Well we can't throw them out the Airlock, littering is bad!" Uh huh, sure-

Sometimes if he's walking closely behind you, going on his rants about how he is clearly the better captain, or something else, you smack him in the face with your wings

He's so shocked help 😭- He's trying to process what happened, like yeah it hurt but how come it was so soft? What even- OH

Captain is cackling their ass down the corridor all ready, not waiting for his reaction.

He'd be so flustered for a second but then remembers 'wait I'm supposed to hate them' and just storms off after you, yelling shit like "Captain! Ugh! They are so immature- 👹"

Calls you 'bird brain' as an insult but it eventually becomes a pet name as time passes

Mack (Dictator)

Is immediately in love with them and you the second you step onboard-

When you land, he gives you the final choice to make the 'right' decision and make him Captain.

And you know what? Yeah sure, go ahead.

Captain: *giggles* IM FREE YES FUCK YOU-

Tee hee, no. No you are not.

Anyways, his thoughts about them!

He really does think they're pretty on you, heck, you always look amazing! But... He does need you to rely on him, and knocking you a peg lower than you already were seems to do the trick :( sorry.

He's not a total monster though (🤨) and he knows how uncomfortable it can be for you to have feathers, since he'll sometimes wake up to heaps of them in your shared bed.

He'll also preen them for you, though he constantly tugs on your collar which can make it annoying.

Sometimes if he wakes up before you, he'll pet them gently. Will instantly scream like a girl and shove you out (and most likely off) the bed when he notices you waking up.

He also likes how they unfold and seem to shelter you two from everyone else when you two are, uh...... 😳Holding....hands...?

^He'll also tug on them if he knows it'll get a reaction out of you

Throws out the loose feathers :( What's the point of having feathers when he has the actual bird? Thing?

He loves you (🧐) but will snip them if he feels like/catches you're trying to run away too much.

The Detective

He will trail around with you, but unlike Mack, and unfortunately for you, will asks lots of questions. And I mean a lot of them. Writes down everything you say in his goofy little notebook 😭

Also calls you 'bird brain', but it comes out more teasing and friendly than derogatory.

*sighs* keeps your feathers. Probably has a separate journal with all of them in there, yk how some people do those flower stamp journals?

Claims it's for 'research' or 'evidence' like bestie the only 'evidence' I'm seeing is how much of a simp you are-

Is a lot more touchy than the other egos, probably just immediately holding them and being like 🧐😳🤨 whether or not you're comfortable of people touching them 😭

Preens them for you, but he does ask first though. However, if your wings were really dirty and not taken care of, he'd sit your ass down straight away and start-

Probably puts on gloves when they're dirty because he's a dramatic ass bitch-

Sometimes when he feels really tired and just wants to go home he'll make 'little' hints like "y/n would it be odd if you gave us the answer to this puzzle" or "y/n wouldn't it be so funny if you just flew of with the strongman rn haha" yeah no sorry bestie

Yk how sometimes ppl do the thing where they ruffle someone's hair? Yeah he does that but with your wings because he has a teensy tiny theory that it's practically the same thing. it's not, don't tell him tho

Yeah if you got jumpscared you'd probs accidentally smack him in the face with them since he's always like. The closest person in your general vicinity.

Sometimes if you two cuddle you wrap them around the both of you like a blanket and let him pet it :)

Poor guy just needs to lie down, yk that image of a pathetic looking kitten with milk spilt all over it's face yes that is him 24/7

He loves you tho :)

The Hermit

Oh you'll be wanting to stay away from him 24/7.

It's not that he'll actually hurt you, it's just a general vibe, and the fact he keeps making little comments that imply he wants to roast and eat you.

He doesn't get social cues though, having lived by himself for so long, so he probably doesn't get that it's coming across that way or why you look so scared 😭

He is super affectionate towards you, practically begging to preen you despite probably having no idea how to do it.

You have to show him 😭 you also do his hair! Bro's been living in a cave for god knows how long, you can't tell me he doesn't have random stuff in it.

He won't keep your feathers, although if you were to give him one he'd do something silly like tuck it behind his ear :)

He also keeps one on a necklace, kinda like how he has that mini skull :D

Is overall super affectionate and friendly, despite everything else about him practically screaming "sketchy" and the fact he never seems to want you to leave his cave or side

He doesn't really have a lot of questions about you tbh, instead just pinning it as 'the many beauties of nature'. He does find them fascinating though, and tells you so every so often.

Warfpat

He loves you though :) he finds that your wings make great blankets/pillows if he's tired!

After Mat dies in the strong man episode, y/n ends up feeling so angry and powerless that the carnival master takes advantage of their vulnerability, to completely corrupt them he promises to give them their dear detective back if they give in. Just for the detective to eventually be brought back to life and get corrupted too shortly after finding out about their corruption and blaming the group for not helping y/n enough and comforting them(even though everyone did everything they could to help them), having blamed everyone for y/n's corruption he ends up accepting the carnival master's offer as long as he's still on his darling's side.

in the most monotone voice ever, excuses himself to the bathroom, where the distant sounds of throwing up, sobbing, fanboying?? and other stages of grief can be heard 

he finds it hot 😭

Marks thinks its the funniest shit ever like full on kidney collapse knee slaps, table slams- Yeah he’s not ever letting Mack forget it even tho it was your fault

Don’t worry though, Mack will still hug you and hang out with you and stuff but he’s always tense as if your gonna swoop off again

he even starts bragging to the others as if he wasn’t a millisecond away from pissing his pants and praying

relaxes eventually tho :D kinda holds a grudge against you, but jesus just-

warn him next time if you want to do it again

just kinda stands there and processes when you put him down and then immediately chases after you

he has a gun so you might want to be good at dodging mid air-

yeah you’re definitely in big BIG trouble afterwards but in your opinion it was totally worth it (unless that’s not the first time or prank you’ve pulled and he decides to clip your wings :((()

tbh the thing he’s most embarrassed about is the fact that there were people around to witness

calls the firing squad on those that tease him about it because haha funky dictator man >:D

The Detective

he finds it really fun but would prefer if he doesn’t have that falling feeling in his stomach

or in his entire body. like at all

his glasses fall off halfway through. you will also be paying for-

he’s so polite about it too although his voice definitely breaks a lot 😭

you get halfway up and he goes “yeah uM y/n this is reAlly nice and all bUt can you put me dOwnokaynevermindholyshitfuckcuntbitchmotherfu” 

he just clings to you afterwards with an awkward smile like “hi <:)?” yeah he’s not letting go bestie you can say buh bye to privacy after that <3

he doesn’t throw up bc he’s a girlboss but definitely feels queasy after which is half of the reason why he’s still clinging to you

probably wouldn’t get it, but if he felt confident enough sometime later would ask if you can take him up again :)

and immediately regrets it- he finds it cool that you can fly though, even if he doesn’t prefer it!

tbh he just wants to see the sky and shit with you because he’s a dork and a simp and we love him 😌

The Hermit

because he can warp reality, I think he’d use that power to ‘spice things up’ with your little trip

Right, I feel like Manny would have a better grip hiding his feelings for you.

The most you'd notice is how he stares at you when you think he's not looking, or a slight blush here and there, but definitely better than Mat.

He gives you that kind of.. polite parent kind of smile a lot? Outwardly looks like he has everything in check while inwardly being like "jsjsinsjajanajhelookdatmeholySHITNSKWJNDNMA"

He's actually quite tame for a yandere!

But don't let that fool you, any yandere can become dangerous when pushed enough.

I feel like he'd be more manipulative, giving things a slight push into where they need to be rather than going in physically.

Constantly babies you, I'm sorry I don't make the rules.

He believes that you're someone who needs to be protected, and that he's the only one who can protect you!

After all, you are trapped in time in a spooky mansion with nasty little secrets around each corner, you need to have someone watching your back!

Conversations with him are nice, he acts like how he normally would, apart from the slight difference of badmouthing someone a whole lot more.

He has this kind of persuasive way of talking, to the point of where even if you were best friends with said person you'd either be slightly suspicious or wary of them.

He would definitely be a self aware yandere, but instead of freaking out or feeling bad he's calm and goes "okay, what next?"

This may seem like a good way of thinking, and it is!

But...everyone has their breaking point.

If he was on a challenge with someone else, calm facade is immediately gone and man is ready to play dirty.

After all, haven't you technically won if the other is dead?

No, but don't tell him that.

He's super supportive of you, no matter what it is!

If it was a personal thing? He's behind you 100%!

It is was a challenge? Very worried for your life, but still behind you 100%!

When he's not being a total mess, he'll help you quite a lot with puzzles and more often then not will trust you with information he wouldn't tell anyone else.

He doesn't want to risk making either you or him seeming suspicious too much, so the most he'll go for when he sees something he doesn't like is a light glare or a little 'talk' :)

Poor guy guilt trips you without even realising sometimes. I mean, just look at those puppy eyes, how could you say no?

It's not all just lovey-dovey and sunshine though, however much he'll try to make it seem that way. He is still a yandere, after all.

He has trouble getting a handle on his emotions, so he can be a teensy bit unpredictable.

One second he'll be pulling you away from the group so you can look for clues with you alone, being super clingy and smily and shit

Then the next he'll be giving someone the death glare of the century because they made a joking little comment about you two.

Just, eerily silent with a crazy look in his eye. Yikes.

You know he would rig the votes for sure.

People don't even notice, either! It only starts to get suspicious after the second time someone who no one wished ill will against got voted in...

Speaking of rigging, you know he'd do it for you too. Simp.

Like, if you somehow do get voted into a challenge, he'd make it hell on earth for the other contestant.

Sneaking off to try and trip them up, giving them helpful little 'tips' that end up screwing them over...

The sad thing is (or good, if you enjoy having a yandere on your tail) is that he has an advantage here.

He is the detective, after all, and the person who would find it easiest to screw up all evidence is the one who would have it figured out in the first place.

If you were to die, Mat would be in HEAVY denial. Constantly looking for someway to bring you back, something to tell him that your still there.

It gets to the point where he refuses to leave, even if it's just before sunlight or he can. Why would he leave without you?

If you got brought back, he would be sobbing EVERYWHERE.

You best bet you're never getting a second of privacy ever again. Crazy levels have now upped 100%, won't let anyone else come near you in fear that they'll take you away.

Sometimes you kinda just need to hug him and convince him that you're actually still here :(((

He'll get over it eventually, but it's always there just in the back of his mind.

I'd say 7/10. Giant simp most of the time, but he can be VERY dangerous when provoked.

Its cute and all, but it can be a bit tiring to have someone constantly behind you, asking if you need help with anything or need anything 24/7. It's not that you don't appreciate it! It's just....been a long day.

When he's not asking you or trying to help you with something, he's....very quiet, moreso than normal.

Being honest, he's probably very confused with his emotions. He knows what he feels towards you isn't really normal, but another part of him... Doesn't care?? He decides to act, his feelings being too overwhelming.

Apparently, that leads to him peaking outside of your door in the middle of the night.

He's not that quiet though, unfortunately, and that attracts the attention of someone he was hoping not to see. Mark.

They get into a little scuffle, and pretty soon that ends up with you opening the door to see what all the commotion was about. It was one in the morning, damnit!

You're immediately greeting with the sight of Mack and Mark slapping each other, and sigh. Both of them try to instantly make themselves more presentable, Mack looking as if he was about to pass out with a wild blush on his face.

The second you ask what happened, though, it goes something along the lines of; "CAPTAIN!! He was watching you while you were asleep!-"N-No I wasn't! I just needed to pee and I just happened to- "OH SO YOU ACCIDENTALLY WALKED PAST THE BATHROOM, WHICH IS FIVE ROOMS AWAY-"

-It would be kind of like a domino effect, each of them falling deeper the more you interact

-Eventually though, at some point, one of them is going to notice one or more of the others staring at you, or actively seeking you out/trying to spend time with you

-They'd be super pissed, but then all it takes is someone to make a flirty comment towards are about you and everyone's just like "You like them too?!" And then slowly look around because everyone said that 😭

-They'd talk about it, and agree to share (although some people in the group are most likely planning to off others sooner or later)

-After that, it's just a mad scramble for your attention

-Joey would be trying to charm his way into your good books, planting little seeds of doubt into your head about some of the others

-Mat would be way more possessive, keeping at a distance yet most of the time but all of a sudden acting all buddy-buddy with you, way more so than usual. Very good at phrasing things in a way that make everyone else seem suspicious.

-Nikita would be sly, trying to fluster you with compliments or small little actions that seem to infuriate some of the others. She would also be really good at manipulation, making you spend more time with her

-Manny would be on a similar roll to Nikita, although with Nikita it was small gestures, he'd be way more handsy (e.g grabbing your hand, waist, hugging you, or a little peck on the cheek)

-Rosanna would be a bit more natural, making it seem like friendly little actions and dragging you off to look at something cool she found with you.

-Safiya would try to talk to you more, letting herself be vulnerable about her concerns in order to relate to reader more. After all, don't people who understand each other have deeper bonds?

-Colleen would try and keep things mainly neutral, just acting like herself as much as possible although you do once or twice catch her eyeing you

-Teala wouldn't even care, going for it with such confidence that readers just like "oh I guess this is fine then". She would also be good at manipulating you.

-Roi would just be his goofy lil self tbh. He doesn't really see why the others are suddenly acting weird, although he does understand where they're coming from. He does put up a bit of a mask, although most of it is genuine.

-JC would be quieter and more reserved. He most likely has a very big hand in whoever gets voted for a challenge, and making sure that person loses.

-Most of them think along the lines of fluster y/n = they love us or be nice to them = they're nice back = they love us.

-Reader would definitely notice something's up, wanting to know if they did anything wrong. Why is everyone acting so...weird, all of a sudden?

-They probably wouldn't realize the extent of it until it was too late.

-Absolute tug of war pretty much. They tried to share, but due to so many different personalities and different aspects of obsession it would absolutely go to shit about only a while in.

-is absolute hell for reader. Although it is for the others, too. They know you can exactly escape them here, but what happens when you guys get out?

-Everybody hopes that they'll get out, but as is the pattern only three (including Joey) get out. So... Will they share? Who knows?

He’d be really surprised at first, he expected worse! He would be slightly suspicious, wondering if this is an attempt to butter him up so you could escape, but after a while he just- absolutely melts into it. Honestly you probably just short-circuited his brain, poor guy is touch-starved :( 

Jasmine - How would this yandere use their status/money in their favour?

Well, he is the detective after all, and it’s surprisingly easy to swap and edit evidence here and there. It helps that a lot of people trust him, since they look to him for the answer as to what’s going on. If something’s happening to his darling that he/you doesn’t like (that doesn’t count his behaviour) he’ll be quick to get rid of the problem - Not before leaving some incriminating evidence in their favour.

Lavender - Would this yandere’s darling be able to sense the impending danger, or is the yandere efficient at hiding their darker side?

He finds it difficult to control it sometimes. Darling is most likely the quickest and first person to realize, since they are the object of his affections. You freak out, but he’s always following you, and most importantly- always one step ahead. Others may catch on soon after, since his body language can change to calm and peaceful to angry and annoyed in seconds.

Pansy - What was it that ultimately sparked their obsession?

He’s not quite sure himself, honestly. Perhaps you were the life of the party, or more off to the side, it doesn’t matter to him after that first conversation with you, that slowly delved from simple curiosity to a growing obsession. (Bro ur dumbass probably decided to like...jokingly flirt or something smh. We all know this man can’t take social cues he told me himself/j)

Rose - Does this yandere indulge much about themselves to their darling? Does it depend on if their darling were to ask? Or are they secretive and closed off?

He doesn’t like to talk too much about himself in case he comes off as narcissistic or self-absorbed. He would absolutely tell you about himself if asked, though. He’s closed off to the rest of the group, more quiet and reserved and painfully sarcastic- you bring out the good and bad in him.

Tulip - Does the yandere want their darling’s forgiveness, or does it make no difference to them?

He would definitely want forgiveness. He knows that it’ll be tough to earn your trust again, but after he got a first taste he can’t imagine living in a world where you’re not together. He’ll be so so happy if he finally gets it, hugging and kissing you and promising to be better, that he wouldn’t hurt you or anyone else again. He’s lying, but he’s gotten better at it.

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

This guy right here is touch starved to the max, so affection can get pretty intense, and almost all. The. Time. It can range from little compliments to smooches, to fully winded cuddle sessions. And he's constantly touching you, too. Holding your hand, an arm around your waist, you name it.

Whoo boy. You saw the musical, (or didn't, go watch it it's great) this guy was covered in blood, not to mention he didn't hesitate to spear AJ with that handy chainsaw of his. So very messy for sure, with almost every day that goes by his kill count goes higher.

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

Only when necessary. He adores his darling and is always cuddly and affectionate to them. However, if you were to fight back one too many times, he would get frustrated and mock you, using your words against you. It's not his fault, you're just being so difficult! He feels a tiny bit guilty later though, but it's easy to ignore when you're pliant and soft in his arms.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darlings will?

Not really, just a bit of kisses and smothering affection here and there. I have a feeling he wouldn't hesitate to break a wrist or an ankle if he deemed it necessary, though...

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

It's slightly complicated. When he's focused on getting you used to your new surroundings or just bringing you there, he doesn't really talk about his feelings (other than his undying love) much. However in softer moments, it can turn his brain to mush, and sometimes he just can't keep a seal on his lips, wanting to talk about anything and everything with his darling.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

Honestly, he expects it. He knows you won't exactly welcome him with open arms, and he's completely willing to help you see your true feelings again. However, he is also very impatient wanting nothing more than to dive into darlings arms, so like said in C he can get very frustrated and mock darling. He knows it'll take time to help you, but couldn't you just be a bit less difficult? He's trying, he really is, but he can't be the only one doing all the work!

Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

Yes and no. Like said earlier he gets frustrated if you fight back, and it honestly breaks his heart a little whenever he catches you trying to escape. If you were to somehow get out, you better believe he'll be straight on your tail. He'll taunt you, turning it into a game almost, but don't be fooled. He is pissed. You are in big trouble when he brings you home.

Hell: What would be their darlings worst experience with them?

Not a lot, since bad bad experiences are rare, so it'll probably be a horrible if you somehow push him to that point. As mentioned earlier, sometimes it can be punishments like breaking an ankle or a wrist, but the worst it'll get to is him killing your friends and/or family. In front of you.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

Not that much, really. He doesn't see anything specific, although he definitely wants to get married some day. Maybe a pet, or even some kids? He's more of a we'll see how it goes type of guy.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

Okay you aren't leaving this house when he 'brings you home', so this most likely happened when stalking you or in the early stages of your relationship. But Jesus H. Christ he will get insanely jealous, constantly believing that everyone you come into contact with will steal you away from him. Around you, he'll just give a polite death warning glare at the person, all while imagining the gruesome ways he can get rid of them. The second he's left to his own devices however, he's working on or already is getting rid of them. Hey, its a labour of love!

Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?

Depends on your stance with him. If you're fighting him, well, he is impatient, so darling will be punished with silent treatment to overbearing affection to starvation and all sorts, to the point where poor darling is having whiplash. He just wants it to work, damnit! However, if you love him, he is incredibly doting and affectionate. It's a gooey sickening type of affection to be honest, with hugs and kisses and that stupid lovestruck grin on his face.

Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching darling?

When it comes to approaching, you'll probably have noticed him first. Or rather, felt his eyes burning into the back of your head. He's incredibly stuttery and blushy around you, and he stares so. godamn. much. When courting you, it'll most likely be classic stuff. Guys a hopeless romantic, constantly writing you letters, sending you or directly giving you roses, and sometimes (thank god not that often) more.... Grotesque things, such as a corpse of a small unidentifiable animal, or even a hand. He's like a cat, smh.

Mask: Are their true colours drastically different from the way they act around everybody else?

Well, he thinks they are. Doting boyfriend in public, unhinged murderer (a nickname oh so lovingly given by you during 'bonding sessions') in secret? Noooo. Nobody saw that coming at all 🙄. The main thing that gives it away is this constant crazy glint in his eye, and some things you were able to catch in his ramble where he was professing his undying love to you. He is sometimes violent around people when your not there, whether it be tone, attitude, or actions. You calm him, so when your not there he constantly worries. You also unfortunately fuel him.

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

Like said earlier, he turns to drastic actions if he deems necessary. He'll do more than break an arm or a leg, he has had quite good practice in torture, after all! He will also (again as said earlier) harm loved ones as you watch, since he knows better than anyone how stubborn you can be. It's easy for him, too. They might have value to you, but to him? Their just as annoying as any old pest. And pests need to be dealt with.

Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

If you're good, the most that will be taken away is freedom. If you struggle, he can't decide on a method, so he eventually settles on senses. A blindfold here, some headphones there, and a few hours alone? It has to work this time, he's sure of it!

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

Oh, he's as patient as a saint. .....until, a few hours/days pass, and he starts getting tired. He has mood swings a LOT so you'll need to watch out for that.

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

Oh you bet my ass you're not getting out of that place (or staying out for long) unless you die. If you somehow leave or successfully escapes, he'll be after you like that, in a mad rush. At first it was annoyance, but after an hour or so he's going to be so worried you'd think he wasn't a kidnapper. When he gets you back, he'd be like a worried mother, mostly relieved that you're in his arms again, and give a light scolding. ....if you die, he'll be so far in delusion that he won't be able to see what's real anymore. He takes your corpse around with him like you're still alive, acting as normal. He would never move on, and I think if his delusion that you're actually gone was ever to be shattered, he would kill himself.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would the ever let their darling go?

No and no to both. He's far too deluded and lovestruck to even think for a second about morale! If anything, he believes himself to be the hero of the story, saving his beloved from everything and anything that could hurt them. If he did somehow let darling go, it sure as hell wouldn't be willingly. Most likely darling escaped.

Stigma: What brought about this side of them? (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

He's always been very intense with relationships, although platonic. Most likely you're his first romantic partner, and he's already in too deep to ever let you go. <3 (haha bitchless virgin man he gets no bitches so he kidnaps them so they can't ever leave tee hee 🤪)

Tears: How would they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry and/or isolate themselves?

This was most likely caused by him since he's the only person you see anymore. Although he's stung at first, whether or not he was the cause he'll immediately see it as you trying to back out of the relationship and leave him. He'll come straight to you, put you in his lap and just cuddle. He believes he's bringing you comfort although it probably is overwhelming you instead. If he notices, he doesn't show it, only holding you tighter.

Unique: Would they do anything different from the usual yandere?

Nope! The only difference is, he's like 60% more hyped up on funky brain love juice so he's extra clingy.

Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

There's.... Not much. He's clingy and over affectionate, but those won't help darling. The only thing I can see working is darling lying about seeing someone outside and sneaking out while he looks around. Even then it's a shot in the dark, and if it fails (which it most likely will) it'll completely reset his trust with you, and you'll be back to the basement.

Wits end: Would they ever hurt their darling?

Physically, only if they've completely drove him up the wall, yes. He'd feel super guilty about it afterwards though, and would hug and kiss you and comfort you. Mentally, however? He does it all the time. Planting seeds of doubt about others, guilt tripping you, it goes on.

Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?

For the first one, a lot. He absolutely adores you, you're his everything. Not to the point of him seeing you as his god, though, so be careful where you tread on that line. For the second, he'd go absolutely apeshit. He's crazy about his darling, he needs to show them just how much he cares about them, maybe then they'd see how much they're meant to be together!

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

I'd say a few months, give or take. It doesn't take that long to have him absolutely whipped for you, and he can only thrive off stalking and watching you for so long before he gets antsy. He's insatiable.

Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?

Absolutely not. He sees you as his s/o, not some pretty object. Besides, he fell in love with you for you, why would he even dare think to take that away?
